Dr. Martens Abbot Kinney

I have never bought a pair of docs and the manager was super super helpful! He was also really nice and made sure I felt comfortable in my shoes and was never pushy about selling me anything. I ended up leaving with a pair and I love them!

I went to this branch of Dr.Martins twice and 3 our of 4 of the employees were rude, condescending and unhelpful. I had gotten a pair of Dr. Martins for Christmas and they didn't fit very well so I went into the store in person to try on a pair and exchange them. The first associate I spoke to was very helpful in narrowing down what I was looking for. She asked me questions and listened to what I had to say. Another man working with her ended up going to get the shoes for me and he brought me the same shoe I had came in with. I tried to explain to him what I was looking for and what his coworker had recommended for me and he cut me off multiple times told me I was wrong and proceeded to bring me different pairs of shoes than what I was asking for. Each time I tried to explain how they fit or what I was looking for he cut me off and assumed he knew what I was going to say next.  After several pairs of shoes I tried didn't fit his coworker asked him to bring out the pair she recommended and they fit perfectly. I stepped away for a few minutes to decide if I was going to get them and when I came back I asked if I could take a picture of the shoes so I could come back and pick them up at a later date. When I came back with the picture I realized he had showed me the shoe he was recommending me that I told him didn't fit instead of the ones I wanted. I had to start the process all over. I was hopeful that with a new person I wouldn't have the same issues, however the next person who helped me was hardly anymore helpful. I had to explain to two of the associates that I didn't want a women's size because I have wider feet, but multiple times the associate brought out women's size shoes. Only after 3 or 4 times of  asking her to bring a unisex size, another person she was working with told her to get the unisex size which she finally did but in a size too big. It was a strange feeling to have to try and convince the people working there that the shoes they were bringing didn't fit me. I began to ask questions to the employees to try and understand where the miscommunication was but the man who was working there spoke very quickly under his breath from across the room and I could hardly hear him and didn't understand his explanation. I tried on about 7 or 8 shoes before they brought a pair that fit. If I asked to try a pair again because I was so confused in this whole process, I was met with annoyed tones and comments like you already tried that. I was so frustrated by the end of this experience I will never go back to this  Dr. Martens, the people at the Santa Monica Branch are so much nicer anyway. The overall customer service given here was monotone, smug attitude and it seemed like no one wanted to help me. I was treated as an inconvenience when all I wanted was help finding the right size for my first pair of Dr.Martens that I have been wanting for years. If these weren't being paid for as a gift I would not have spent my money here. I work in customer service and would never treat a customer like I was treated here under any circumstances.

Had to do a return for my daughter. Erica could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Do not order product ship to home from this store!  I ordered shoes, gave the guy my phone number, email and my change of address card so that he spelled my name right and got my address correct.  This guy made my home address to ship to MOTOR VEHICLE!!!! WHAT?!?! Do you not know what a home address looks like on a address card!?!?! He never confirmed shipping information and it’s partly my fault as I should have asked but when you hand someone a card, you would think they would get it right when all you have to do is COPY IT! Luckily he got my email right so I found out where the shoes were going when the email came that they shipped and to where!  These kids now a days can’t write in cursive nor know what a address card is?!?!  Now because I changed my address immediately by calling journeys - it’s taking two weeks to get these shoes that should have taken five days because they went allllll the way back to the original place of shipment even though they were almost here yesterday!!!!!  Never ever again will I order ship to Home unless it’s amazon.

I was not a huge fan of Journeys Apparel store located in the Annapolis Mall. I popped into the store because I noticed that they had the shoe I wanted to buy in their window. The model shoe was my size so I was going to pop it on and see how it looked. However, I was advised by an employee that I would need to wait for her to pull a box from the back for me to try on because I could not try on the model shoe. Okay, cool. Well, I was the only person in the store and there was four employees on the floor. Ten minutes later, someone asks me if I am being helped and I mention that a girl in the back is pulling my size. Ten more minutes pass and I'm told she is still looking for the shoe. As soon as I'm ready to walk out the store she comes around with the shoe.... Okay, ages later obviously. Benefit of the doubt I go to try it on and am told she can't give me both pairs of shoes to try on and then basically stands over the top of me like I'm going to run out the store with the shoe on. Then, I don't even have the ONE shoe laced up before she is in my business like "So you're not going to get them or are you?" Like back up, keep your shoes, and I'll go somewhere else. No one wants to feel like they went to a used car dealership with a pushy sales person to buy a pair of walking shoes.

Worst customer service ever! Not helpful at all. It’s Saturday (they are not very busy at all) and it was like pulling teeth to get the shoes I wanted to try on. Then I was told they don’t even know where the other shoe was. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! It’s Saturday 2/20/21 at 3:43!

Their employees were very attentive and provided great customer service. Prices are actually reasonable as well. The store manager also cared about the appearance of the store so random items werent strewn about.

SAS Shoes

I received an email about getting $20 off each pair of shoes or sandals you buy. I found the ones I was looking for quickly because the sales clerk was available and knowledgeable about what was in the store. As soon as she finished with another customer she started helping me. I was very happy with her attentiveness. She would help me locate the size, prepare the sandals for trying on and then rebox them after. Her knowledge enabled her to answer all my questions? Yesterday was a very enjoyable shopping experience at this store. I will shop there again in the future.

The service was that of a shoe store from long ago. The lady measured my foot, put the shoes on my feet with the use of a shoe horn.Exceptional service. Kind, caring and very knowledgeable of the merchandise.I was visiting from out of state but return often and will definitely be returning. Customer service of the highest level.

Awesome place to shop for Quality handmade shoes that's made in America

When my mother and I entered the store we were followed around the store by the most unfriendly woman. When my mom asked for help, stating what she was looking for, the lady told her that “well that will be very hard to find” and continued to watch us, not trying to help at all. When my mom ended up finding a shoe she liked, the lady asked if she knew how much it cost ($180) when we did not ask, implying that she could not afford it. The shoes were purchased, but we feel repulsed & profiled with the treatment and are disappointed with this establishment. This is not the way to do business. If you come here, be wary.

Horrible experience! My mother and I walked in looking for shoes for my mom. The lady followed us and watched our every move. She about had a conniption when I tried to grab a box of shoes for my mom to try on, insisting that we couldn’t touch anything but had to ask her for help. Then when my mom inquired about a pair of shoes, the lady said “those are 300$”, so as to say we couldn’t afford them. Stating a price would have been fine IF we asked. She was very abrasive with us and unfriendly. As we were leaving, a group of white women walked in and the sales lady was very friendly with them and gave them a very friendly and professional greeting…a greeting far different than what we received. We left feeling profiled and disgusted with how we were treated.

Birkenstock

You forget what it’s like to go into a full service shoe store.  I sold shoes many years ago, thought I could fit myself. So when I decided to buy a pair of Birkenstocks I went to DSW, they have very nice salespeople, but not a lot of knowledge.   IF I had not stopped into this store, I would have miss fitted myself and wasted a little over a $100.   The staff here spent time with me, brought out several sizes and actually got an incredible fit!!!! (I would have been wrong in the size I thought I needed).  So, take a step back in time, buy where you get a proper fit, by professional’s.   It’s worth it!!!!
PS   I am giving away 4 pair of shoes that felt great for the first week or so.  YOU have one  set of feet, the shoes you wear the most should be the BEST shoes you own.

I was there for Birkenstock sandles because of my plantar fasciitis and they had an amazing stock and exactly what I was looking for.

They also do shoe repair.  Conveniently located on SR 200 close to Top of The World.  Pleasant salespeople willing to help you with your needs.

Target

Probably the least customer service driven store I've been to. Freight stocked in the middle of the day, covering inventory. Had 30+ people in the store and only 1 person checking. Line to check out was 20+ deep and no call for back up. I'd rather shop at Walmart.

I went to Target specifically to purchase Olipop and low and behold there was none. Looking around the store I saw plenty of empty shelves, boxes of merchandise stocked up around the aisles, messy shelves, items laying on the floor,etc. From the looks of it, they are having issues finding people to work for them, like so many other places in town.

I used to enjoy coming to this store and shopping for clothes and get the basics, but the last few years has been so messy. And I’m convinced it is the management in place, the turn over for regular employees seems to be so high I never recognize the same people when I go in to shop. That When I’ve asked management questions they deflect and nothing ever changes, just the same fake answers. Where is the actual work being done with these reviews and surveys? I don’t know. Because I don’t see it in Bend. And I blame those higher up, not the employees they obviously run though like no other. Do better management and corporate.

I’d like to hope that someone from corporate reads these reviews as there is no way to contact from their website or app. Our store in Bend is always lacking stock, not just a little, but whole aisles mostly empty. Linens, blankets, dishes, holiday, cosmetics, clothing, office supplies, diapers, toiletries, etc. What little stock they do have is a mess. This is the only Target for a 2 1/2 hour drive if you’re going west and even further going east. Bend is a large vibrant community of over 100k in the city limits alone. We also have a large population in our county and many outlying communities like Redmond, Prineville, Sisters, LaPine, Madras and it’s one of the fastest growing areas in the PNW with tourists who visit from all over. Today, they had nothing in stock out of the several items I came for.  Any other Target that I have been to recently in Oregon or other states is not having this problem. Today I was told it was because Target corporate keeps cancelling their orders. I’ve been told they don’t have the stock and another time they just don’t have anyone to stock the shelves. Honestly, you are forcing people to look elsewhere or shop online because you can never count on this Target to have anything. Please send someone who can fix this store that serves central and eastern Oregon.

This particular store is very unorganized and dirty. There was discarded garbage (used coffee cups, gum wrappers etc) on many of the shelves.

Birkenstock - Bend Shoe Co.

Very cool place with nice helpful staff. Full selection of Birkenstock shoes and other premium brands. Lots of air accessories and socks. Prices are premium but the service is well worth it. Downtown Street parking. Close to everything you need.

Amazing customer service. I love all the staff here! Great selection on Birkenstock, Hoka and Sorel! So happy everytime i leave this place. Thanks for going above and beyong to get me the perfect shoe!

Julia was really wonderful and was so kind and patient as I tried on 6 different styles. I was also looking to get my foot properly measured and she was spot on with what was right for my feet and knows her stuff! Visiting from out of town and it was a great experience and she made me feel very comfortable through the experience as I’m a very shy person. We talked about pink Birkenstocks and Jason Momoa!

I wish I could call out the gal that helped me yesterday by name, but I missed her name. I was so impressed with this "main street USA" store. Very friendly, service oriented, not pushy, and incredibly helpful. I was looking for a birthday gift for my wife and only had a vague idea of what she wanted. I got "Fred Factor" treatment and service and my wife was thrilled with the selection!

I visited the downtown store several days ago and was treated very well.  the salesperson was kind and patient as i tried on several pairs of birkenstocks i needed for work.  while i ultimately did not buy a pair of shoes that day, i will return to do more business there, as it was a very good experience

Birkenstock Footprints Of Ventura

Have had nothing but positive experiences at this store. The owner is knowledgeable about the brand, and even suggested that I retry all of my old birkenstocks that I stopped wearing due to changes to my feet and ankles. I have, and these older birkenstocks are indeed remolding to my feet.  ♥️

Just had the best experience at this Birkenstock location!
I came in after a long bike ride (SF to LA, over 7 days - on day 6) in need of a comfortable shoe (and fast) as my current ones were not cutting it.
The team member working (also the owner) was so sweet and helped me get exactly what I needed!
She could have tried to sell me the $160 pair, which I thought would work; however, she thought (for what I needed), the simple $50 one would work - and do they ever!

She knows about all the products she carries. I just bought a pair of Birkenstock inserts to wear in my walking shoes and they are great. Definitely worth the price.

Joanne is the sweetest! Ordered me my oiled leather 38 sandals and held them in the back until I could pick them up this weekend. Joanne is also super knowledgeable on everything about the brand and the shoes! Next time I’m due for a new pair of birks I’m going there. Love shopping local and she has a wide selection!

Unlike the only bank in this cheap town, in Coppel they do have an ATM and it works well. None of the five ATMs at Banamex were working when I went.

Famous Footwear

Something did not make sense. The price of a sandal was 99.99 here and similar was 9.99 at khols.
Other than that it is good

Not many selection but the sandals I bought was a good deal and so comfy.

Nice store. Went at the right time and got a very nice deal on shoes. Staff was pretty friendly, let me know deals I could be getting and I walked away from the store happy. Had to order a custom pair because people bought up the rest. Once little place in the outlets!

Just came from this store 3/18/17 Cheri the sales rep was SUPER NICE and SUPER PATIENT as I had my husband and toddler shopping for shoes along with me. We were there for almost an hour and Cheri said take my time anything I need let her know and that is what I like no pushy sales person stalking you around. Cheri did not do that. And the sales were great too. I think I found a shoe store for my family. Thanks FFW one please customer😁!!
