Certified Roofing is definitely my number 1 go to company for any future roofing needs. They were friendly, prompt, professional and courteous from the first phone call I made to Adam B, thru the last email confirming my job was complete, (Bryan). Even tho my job was a small one, they treated me as tho it was their number one priority from start to finish.

Unfortunately, I opened my mailbox to the dreadful cancellation letter from my insurance company for my roof being 15 years old. I called Certified Roofing for an estimate and they sent out Adam Brack to walk my roof. I could tell Adam was honest because he actually told me that my roof was in great shape and basically he hated that I have to replace a perfectly good roof. He also offered to write up a certificate saying that my roof was good to provide to my insurance company to try and buy me some time. This wasn't acceptable to them, so I proceeded to get my roof replaced. Out of the few estimates, Certified wasn't the cheapest, but they weren't too much more, and I got more for my money. Certified Roofings quote gave us more vents than others plus they use all of the parts from the same company to make the warranty process easy. Adam was very helpful through the process and always got back to us in a timely manner.
After getting the roof done, we had a bit of trouble getting the wind mitigation through their vendor. Michelle was always helpful and seemed to try to get the vendor to do their job, but they never contacted me. Thankfully, I gave Michelle the name of the last inspector of our home, she set it up with him, and he was out the following day! I proceeded to send the information to my insurance company and they renewed my policy. Obviously my experience wasn't perfect, but I give 5 stars since they seem fair, were up front with me and always seemed to do what they could to make things right.

He and his crew did an outstanding job installing our new Worthouse Roof and responding to our questions. Bryan was diligent in ensuring our roof installation was done properly and efficiently with all debris cleaned up before the crew left. Great experience ! Best company to deal with in entire Orlando .. hands down ! If you need a full replacement to your roof at NO COST to you, you have to call this gentleman , he's the one who got me approved ! Great customer service , he handled the whole claim since the first phone call, and was present when the insurance sent their adjuster and he made sure to point out all those damages he found while the first inspection .. oh did I mention it was for free ? Yes, free inspection , I couldn't even believe it when he told me so, especially that he knocked my door and asked me if I ever had my roof inspected before .. also, I didn't even bother myself and went to the Building Division to apply for the permit after I got approved, he did that for me as well . The crew was perfect, less talk and more work , started around 7 am and finished the job same day , cleaned the area and left the place neat like if they were never there ! I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again in case of any damage related to my roof .

Paul Davis Restoration of Charlotte

We had issues with leakage from our shower.  Paul Davis was assigned through insurance. They assisted us fairly well in the demolition/restoration process.  They were a bit difficult to get ahold of but were helpful in talking through the best ways to address the problem and minimize costs to us, and did an adequate job on the demo.  They assured me they would help with the shower install/replacement as well, however as soon as I signed a "work complete" form for the demo, I never heard back from them.  They would not return my calls.  Finally 6 months later (after living with a hole in our bathroom and having to find another contractor to fix it), I get an invoice (the first one I had received from them) and a text saying "you owe us money or we will call our attorneys for insurance fraud".
They may do adequate work, and hopefully others had better experiences, be we won't be using Paul Davis again.

Highly recommend!! The CLT team is superb! We hired them to refurbish our laundry room.  They handled coverage and pricing conversations with our insurance company, helped us make selections and ordering flooring and paint, and even went above and beyond to make sure all previous water damage was repaired before doing full restoration.  They were transparent with quotes and pricing and were so responsive and supportive throughout the whole process.  They clearly take pride in their work, the end result looks better than when the home was built.  They ensured not just customer satisfaction, but sincerely exceeding expectations.  So glad we went with this company, it made this whole process stress-free!

Scott, Diana and the team have been great to work with this summer. Our entire condo building was flooded Christmas Eve and I have been working with Paul Davis, specifically Chad for that last several months and they have been great!  Chad is extremely responsive and has gone above and beyond to get my unit back to better shape than it was!  It has been a difficult and complicated project and I have been very pleased with the work that has been done and if something wasn't how I wanted it they were quick to fix/rework.

I contacted Paul Davis to mitigate tobacco smoke odor and residue in a home.  They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish.  They set up equipment promptly, checked and evaluated, and adapted the treatment plan when needed.  Josh Martin was my mitigation manager, and he was extremely customer-focused and attentive.  The final cost was very fair and the smoke issues are fully resolved.  While I hope that I do not need mitigation work done anytime soon, I would not hesitate to use Paul Davis again.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Greater Columbia

Just today we finished a multi-year, non-voluntary, insurance covered house renovation for water damage caused by an attic HVAC leak. Paul Davis(PD) did ALL of the repair portion for my renovation.

There were several issues I encountered along the way due to certain PD employees. Due to these issues I left a low previous review on a different platform. Ultimately PD fired these individuals and the crew that replaced them has been Top Notch. The Bill and Nick team were AMAZING!

I have stated several times that if I’d had Nick working my house from the beginning things would have been PERFECT! He even went back and fixed soo many of issues left by the previous crew.

I unfairly stated that I would not recommend PD to a friend (I stand by that with the initial crew). However, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the team that Paul Davis has working for them now and give thanks to them for seeing an issue and taking appropriate steps to fix it. Props to Lucia for the handling of my previous review!

PD completed the following:

Full kitchen remodel and it looks amazing! New cabinets, new Flooring, I went with a custom counter top but they installed all the appliances. Everything from pull out shelves and soft close drawers. Nick nailed all of it.

Full bathroom remodel. New flooring, new tub, new vanity, new sheet rock. Again, it looks amazing!

New flooring throughout 90% of the house. All looks perfect! I went with a Rigid Vinyl Plank flooring and it is exactly what I hoped for.

Ceiling install in 90% of the house. I decided against popcorn ceilings for ease of cleaning and definitely should have gone with a higher level of ceiling finish (I didn’t even know that was a thing).

New walls in 90% of the house. All well done and painted quickly. Paint crew was amazing as well.

New attic access, new light fixtures, new fans, new appliances. Everything good to go.

All things considered I WOULD HIGHLY recommend Paul Davis to a friend and am glad that Nick, Bill, and Lucia were able to finish this years long saga.

Paul Davis came to the rescue after another restoration company decided to abandon the job. PD was professional, their subcontractors were on time, treated us like family, and performed well. The workmanship was excellent. Oh, Paul Davis didn't hound us and threaten to take a lien out on our home during the negotiations with our insurance company; we actually felt like the clients! It was truly a pleasure working with them.

I am very pleased with the prompt response and service I received from Paul Davis Restoration. Within an hour of my call to my Homeowners insurance I had a call from a representative of Paul Davis Restoration, three hours after that I had technicians (Justin and Ned) in my home starting the mitigation service. Thank you.

Remodeled bathroom to include a vanity.  Nick was very skilled with carpentry, electric, and tile work. Recommend this company enthusiastically.

The Paul Davis in Lexington, SC is a complete scam! They use cheap contract services and cut corners with supplies and materials. Collecting profit from both sides, customer and insurance, in an back-handed way. My advice, choose another repair estimator service, or you will be paying more than you should.

The Aluminum Company of North Carolina

After seeing firsthand their work, we contracted with The Aluminum Co of NC to install an EZE BREEZE window system on our screened porch. The project was just finished last week and we are extremely pleased with their process as well as the outcome of the project. After the sales person gave us an estimate and we decided to move forward with the project, the communication phase proceeded exactly as promised. We really liked that the person who would actually install the system came out for more precise measurements. After production, the installation was scheduled and performed timely. The installation crew showed up on time, were very respectful of our property and did an excellent job. One window measurement was off, but the installer owned up to the mistake right away, apologized, and ordered the replacement window. Though we had to wait several weeks for the new window to be completed, once it arrived, the company came out and completed the job. After the job, Christy came out to inspect and ensure the job was satisfactory. She also provided verbal and written instructions on how to care for the new system. Payment was not required until the job was completed and we were satisfied. We are in love with our new porch. The EZE breeze system has literally added extra usable square footage to our home that we can now use during the non-summer months. We should have done this years ago! We wouldn’t hesitate to use The Aluminum Co of NC again! See my before and after photos below.

We had the Aluminum Company of NC replace our sliding glass patio door with custom built French doors that included a pet door for our cats. From start to finish we were provided with outstanding service and we are more than happy with the results (so are our cats). The doors are amazing quality and we would not hesitate to use this company again for any future projects!

I reached out back in late February to get an estimate to replace my large picture window and a sales rep called me the same day! They came in significantly less than two other quotes I received and I just got the best vibes from their sales rep Dallas. My window needed to be custom made because of its odd size but they were on point with their expected wait time. The only real delay with the install was because of my work schedule but thankfully I wasn’t in a rush for it to be installed. Their guys did a great job at taking out the old window and putting in the new one. This old brick ranch isn’t level anymore and some bricks have shifted but they were on point with measuring every cut to make sure it fit correctly. They had to break the glass from the old window to remove it but they did a great job with clean up!

From start to finish, I've had a great experience during both times (window installation and gutter installation) that I worked with this company. When I got new windows, the salesman, Patrick, worked to meet the estimate of another company that I had talked with. When getting a gutter installation estimate, Patrick did not try to oversell. I asked about getting gutter helmets and new downspouts and Patrick said that I really only needed gutter helmets on one section and that my downspouts were fine. During the installation process of both the windows and gutters, the crews were courteous and both efficient and proficient. Then, during the follow-up, warranty information was clearly presented and outstanding questions and concerns were addressed. I strongly recommend this company.

After using The Aluminum Company to install siding, windows, gutters, a roof and a sliding glass door over the past 10 years, I knew that they were top professionals who are very knowledgeable in all of the services they provide with skilled installers who have been with them for years. My salesman has always informed me of what I’m interested in without any pressure to purchase. During a recent Aluminum Company open house, I spoke with a representative of the door manufacturer and was impressed with the quality and safety measures behind their product which are the only doors installed by The Aluminum Company and had them install an exterior door. I LOVE my new door. The quality of the door is superior and the installation was done by an employee with 20 plus years of experience with obvious skill. Their customer service is beyond incredible and so appreciated when it is very hard to find that in most businesses. If looking for quality, professionalism, customer service, I HIGHLY recommend The Aluminum Company.

Paul Davis of Temecula

They helped us through every stage of restoring our home after a slab leak. They were fast, helpful, and did great work… most important, our house looks great and functions properly. I’d use them again and highly recommend.

The Paul Davis team has gone above and beyond to fix a nightmare situation with another contractor after a fire we had last year. They’ve helped us deal with the insurance adjuster and the mortgage company. They have also be so patient with me being hyper vigilant after the last contractor we had. Would recommend!

Veterans/homeowners beware! Very unprofessional organization. I called Paul Davis [Temecula] because I had water and mold damage in my kitchen and living room. I was in desperate need for an estimate for restoration of my kitchen and living room because my home insurance needed one immediately. I had told Eric from Paul Davis that we were a military family and have been living without a kitchen for approximately 4 months and was requesting their assistance. Eric came to my house for an assessment and told me that he would provide me with an estimate at the soonest considering my situation. After 2 weeks I heard nothing. I had to reach out on 3 other occasions and was fully ignored. I was forced to go somewhere else and Paul Davis' failure to stick to their word extended the suffering of my family and I. I was not contacted or giving any kind of courtesy on what the delay was. Almost one month later I still have not heard from them after multiple attempts. My experience with Paul Davis [Temecula] has been a nightmare and they showed a total lack of empathy and concern for my situation. If they couldn't work on my house, they should have been transparent with me from the very beginning and not deliberately ignore me. Military families and/or other homeowners do not deserve this kind of treatment!! They should be ashamed of themselves.

I had a great experience with Paul Davis. All the staff is very professional, proactive and treat all your requests and concerns with a sense of urgency. The team arrived within 1.5 hrs of my initial call and were very thorough and efficient identifying the impacted areas in my property and putting in place contingency measures to mitigate the issue and minimize damage. I had the pleasure to work with Justin Riehm, during our emergency, he is always listening to customer answering questions and providing great status information about what to expect and required steps to remediate and address my concerns. He is very professional and knows how to manage and understand customer requests/concerns. The staff at the office, is always up to date with the latest on your case, and no matter who picks up the phone they are able to give you status on your case and advise you on nex steps They are part of a well coordinated and efficient operation. Starting with sales rep Nick Nicholson, who is patient, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to talk with, to the installation process of our church doors was indeed professional. Nothing but compliments from the congregation and community. I highly recommend their products and services.

The installation went well.  The installers were late, but the office called ahead to inform me.  I had the screen put in the frame which left the glass to be stored.  I was wondering what they did with the glass and found it propped against the house.  There was no box or any way to protect it.  I called the office to ask for a box and/or suggestions on how to safely store the glass and was told that I would be contacted.  No one has contacted me.

We had our front and rear doors installed through ClearView. The salesman that helped us choose the doors was extremely knowledgeable and the installers were fast and efficient. Overall, we are very pleased with our new doors, and every member of the company that we interacted with has been personable and professional. I definitely recommend this company.

I signed a contract in January 2020 to have 21 replacement windows installed by April 2020.  I never heard from the company until June 2020 when I called to ask for an update.They installed 17 windows on August 5, 2020 and told me 2 of the windows had been damaged by the manufacturer and would have to be reordered.  I spoke to the man who placed the original order and he confessed that he had forgotten to order those windows.  THEY WERE NEVER ORDERED OR RECEIVED, SO THEY MADE UP AN ELABORATE LIE. When the two windows were finally installed in December 2020, I requested that the windows be recaulked because the caulk was pulling away from the window frames (after only 4 months).  They said they were recaulked but I don’t know if that is true. In March 2022 I notified the owner that the caulk was cracking on my windows and requested that they repair them. He usually refuses to accept my phone calls and never returns them. He had his office clerk call and tell me that he would charge me to recaulk the windows after only a year and a half. The warranty on the caulk is 15 years.  He stated Clearview only guarantees their work for one year.  That says a lot to me about his confidence in his work.  Nowhere in my contract do they mention that.  I have been trying to get this man to do the right thing for 4 months again and he is insisting that I pay for his poor workmanship.  I already paid a premium price for shoddy work. I am just asking that I get the windows properly installed.  The caulk manufacturer recommends at least a 3/8 “ bead. The bead on my windows is less than that.  I would never recommend this company to anyone. They have lied to me consistently for the past 2 years, they refuse to make repairs that are clearly their responsibility, they are disrespectful and take no interest in making sure a job is completed correctly. They have my money and just aren’t interested in completing the job in a manner that they could be proud of.  It’s too late for me, but I hope others will learn from my huge, costly mistake.

I decided to go with Clearview Window and Door because they supported the radio station I listened to (Shine 95.1). However, because of my experience with this company I no longer listen to the station. I don't want to hear Sam or the station boast about the company. I had 2 doors and 27 windows installed in 2015. One door had defects in the glass and when the replacement was brought out it too had defects in the glass. We were asked to basically live with it. This door also needs to be propped open since it slowly swings to about halfway closed if not. The other door we had installed was a french door and although pretty, it's not very sound proof nor does it seem energy efficient. Also, spiders get in with ease yet I don't see any holes. As for the windows, I've had two crack on the inside pane of the double pane window and one that fogs up. One crack, maybe, but two must be poor craftsmanship. Now I realize Clearview Window and Door is just the installer and they don't make the windows or doors. However they boast about how great they are. They are not. Dealing with the first cracked window was okay. They reordered the window and when it arrived they came out and replaced it. When I called about the second window, they wanted to come out to the house and take measurements, etc. They also wanted to charge me over $200 as a service fee. After refusing they said I could send them a picture of the crack and the window label and let them know which sash it was (upper or lower). They would order it and when it arrived I could come pick it up and install it myself. Well this was January. It is now May. Every time I call I get the same song and dance. They don't know when it will come in, shipments come in on Wednesday, they are backed up. Last time I asked to speak to a manager and the woman I spoke with said someone will call me on Wednesday. That was 2 weeks ago. Bottom line is I would NOT recommend this company. Save yourself the headache and go through someone who actually manufactures the windows and doors you want installed.

UPDATE: I received a phone call from Emily at Clearview Window and Door. My sashes are due in on the 22nd and they would like to come out and install them on the 23rd. They plan on talking with Okna to address the window issues I had/have. They also plan on talking with Homeguard to address the door issues I had/have.

Clearview Window and Door is extremely apologetic for the experience I've had and for the way I currently feel and is trying to rectify that. However until that is done, I will leave my rating as is. I do promise to update accordingly though.

UPDATE 2: Today (4 June) Clearview Window and Door came out and replaced the two window sashes and fixed both issues I had with the doors. A search of Clearview Window and Door will result in plenty of positive reviews and they worked hard to rectify all my issues so that I too would have a positive review. A search of Okna windows will also result in plenty of positive reviews. They were a little slow in providing Clearview Window and Door with the replacement windows.

Clearview Window and Door is definitely a company to consider if you are looking to replace your windows. They will work hard to make sure you have a positive experience. I can't explain why we had the issues we did. However, Clearview Window and Door fixed them all.

Aces N Jacks

Sean’s team did a fantastic job removing the skylights over our garage and closing it up. They came out to give us an estimate, were good at communicating their thoughts and availability, were punctual, and took great care removing everything and rebuilding. They did exactly what was asked of them for a very competitive rate and were very friendly and professional. We’d be happy to have them back in the future for any other needs we have, roofing or otherwise!

Sean was a consummate professional and I highly recommend his company. They did a phenomenal job and the finished product in our kitchen was perfect. I highly recommend this company for any job around your home.

I can’t say enough good things about Sean and Aces n Jacks Handymasters. His crew sorted out a roof leak due to poorly installed flashing along our roofline. When other contractors couldn’t identify the source of the problem, Sean was extremely thorough and reassuring that he could fix the issue. Due to our problem we also had to get new siding installed, and Sean did a phenomenal job finding a replacement siding that matched perfectly with our existing siding. Sean ensured our leaks were sorted out and even followed up a few weeks later to check for any new signs of leaks. If you have a project you need help with, give Sean a call!

Sean came to my house when he said he would and completed the job in 2 days.  He was always responsive to my calls & text and throughly enjoys what he does and does it well.

I found Aces N Jacks while searching the internet for an interior door installer and someone for general construction/demo work.  Sean and his crew were definitely the ones for the job.  They were very professional and also kept me informed of every step of the process.  With more projects to come, Aces N Jacks will be the company I will call.  No rush work at all. I hired Anthony to remodel my small master bathroom and master bedroom as the entire house was quite out of date and this the area my wife and I decided to start with first being as it is used by us the most.

Upon our first meeting, Anthony was very informative as to the options we had for our specific remodel and budget.

For the bathroom, we ended up gutting the entire thing and starting from scratch as this was the most cost effective option for the small space. The bedroom ended up only needing a repaint and new trim but with the money we saved using Brookside Contractors, Anthony sold us on the option of very modern and tasteful recessed lighting in the room!

The only bad thing I could say (if you can even call it that) is that after the job was completely wrapped up, I found one small spot of paint on the carpet in the master bedroom from the painting of the room. To say I was not happy is an understatement but when I reached out to Anthony about this, he personally came out the same day and the carpet is as good as new! He even gave the rest of the job another good look over and asked me if there were any other problems. Very great service and I will definitely be using these guys again! 😎

They installed a shower for my father how is disabled how was approved by the VA hospital. Their work was clean perfect and on approval code. They removed an old bath tub, installed hand rails and shelves. I will call on their services again.

We had a kitchen remodel done with DCS and are very pleased with their services from the upfront design work through to the construction phase. They are highly customer service focused and are great to work with. The project manager, Nero, is an amazing resource. He managed the team very well. Everyone showed up each day ready to work, and clear on what they needed to do. Nero is a rare combination of impressive skills in customer service, project management and hands-on technical skills. Sam was also wonderful to work with. The whole DCS team did a great job, in a timely manner, with professionalism, and was easy to work with.
