Miroballi Shoes

My husband and I stopped I Miroballi Shoes on Sunday. We had great old fashion customer service from Diana. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. We each got new shoes and even grabbed some new socks to try out. We will definitely be back in the future.

The sales lady was very pushy. She convinced me to buy a pair of shoes that were not comfortable because she said they would feel better in time. I wore them around my house and realized they would never be comfortable. I returned them and she was very rude about it saying that I agreed to buy them and they fit fine. I will shop here again, but only if someone else is working. I will not deal with her again. I would leave her name, but I don't remember it.

The sales associate was extremely condescending to my mother who was looking for shoes for my wedding. When asked what the return policy was she said snidely, “the return policy is if you don’t want them don’t buy them.”  We just wanted to know if we could exchange or return if the shoes didn’t look right with the dress. She argued with most things we asked or said. I do not recommend shopping here unless you’d like help from a rude, condescending sales person.

10 am Nov 15 the lady that works there is EXTREMELY RUDE yelling at customers saying that Miroballis website it's not their website and just because it's on their website doesn't mean she sells it, so what is your store's website for. I wont be back.

Today I had the worst experience in this store. There were two ladies that have no clue how to take care about customers. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. I was shopping here before, but never had

Walmart Supercenter

Ced , on 12/23 was very multitasking!!! Assisting two to three ppl at the same time during the holiday weekend was awesome!! We all waited patiently with the consent of everyone!! Well respected during pricing issues with  another group of ppl .. horn lake need more ppl like him often..he’s very helpful!!! GREAT JOB !!!!!KEEP IT UP……

Curbside loaders are very polite and usually get orders out quickly.  Sometimes things aren't in bags but that's not too big of an issue.

Wal mart at its lowest customer service is non existent. The manager on night shift named Felicia has the nerve to tell me she was on the phone before trying to open the case....then act like I'm bothering her for doing her doing her job...if you don't like ur job quit!!!

Jenni and I made a late night food stop. She wanted to make a breakfast casserole and I just needed a couple things. She found all she needed and I found what I needed. This store has some of my vegan and veggie goodies, but not all i need and or desire. I sadly have to go to one of the competitors to fill my food list. Tonight one of the associates Tabitha spokentonme and complimented my hair, she was very helpful and quite upbeat. I look forward to seeing her again.

The cashier was very nice and was very patient she was smiling which was nice cause I was depressed yesterday and just seeing her smile and how nice she was really brightened my day because of her I wasn't depressed anymore sometimes all it takes is a smile to make a person to feel better thank you ma'am you don't know it but you are the reason I was able to come out of my depressed state of mind thank you walmart for hiring her

Maclin Security Doors, Inc.

An outstanding experience from the first phone call to completion of the job.  I had them enclose and extend an existing patio into a year round usable sunroom.  The patio extended 4’ beyond the existing roof and Jason came up with a design that enclosed the entire space with transom windows to make it look like it was built with the house.  A visit to their showroom to check out the materials and a visual of how it would actually look, sealed the deal.  I had a slight delay due to back- ordered  windows but still within Jason's predicted timeframe.  The work crew (led by "Hunter", an extremely proficient and professional installer) did an excellent job in some of the worst weather conditions possible.  They completed construction in 4 days (could have been 3 but weather curtailed the time they were able to work).  The crew was friendly and professional which reflects admirably on the company.  Of course after completion it did not rain for over a week (to test for any leaks).  Fortunately, a good storm blew through and revealed a leak in the ceiling where the new roof extension joined the existing roof.  I called Hunter and he was out as soon as things dried up.  He quickly found the problem area and resolved the leak.  This morning we had some severe weather with high winds and heavy rains - my new sunroom is dry as a bone and I’m loving it more and more each day.  I would highly recommend Maclin’s and have already done so to many of my neighbors who've stopped by to admire the new room.

Had my third security door installed yesterday by Maclin Security Doors the other 2 were installed 4 and 7 years ago.  Maclin continues to have a very high level of service and quality.  Their installer William is very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to have around installing the door, I don’t know if William is their only installer, since he installed all 3 of my security doors, ask for William after you order you door from Maclin

Have used Maclin twice. Have done my front and two back doors. Very satisfied both times. Great service and very timely installation. Installer did an excellent job! Highly recommend.

Budget Blinds of Orland Park and Mokena

I would definitely recommend this company! I worked with Mark for both consultation and installation, and the whole experience went very smoothly. Mark was very knowledgeable and friendly; he walked me through all the options for my windows and helped me find the type of shades I was looking for (and for a reasonable price).  He even helped me pick out a color (which totally fit my home and looks amazing). Installation was a breeze - Mark and a coworker completed the job efficiently and in a timely manner. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Budget Blinds and would easily go with them again.

I would like to highly recommend Budget Blinds of Mokena for window coverings.  Mark was extremely knowledgeable about how to replace electric window coverings.  He understood the intricacies of permanent installation in windows.   In addition as we discussed the situation we have with the upper windows in a two story wall, Mark was very professional and patient helping us select the appropriate window coverings to meet our needs.  The installers were very efficient and the clean up after they were done was excellent!  Window coverings for a home are expensive and we felt by working with Mark and his team our money was well spent and we look forward to enjoying our window coverings for many years to come. Built a townhome in Manhattan and needed window treatments throughout. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Mark helped me choose blinds, shutters and drapes. He has exceptional taste and brought exactly the samples I needed and explained the different options. He is knowledgeable and professional and measured everything perfectly.  Sharon worked with me to schedule installation and everything came promptly and looks fantastic! The quality of the products and installation are excellent and prices are great. I seldom write reviews but had to make an exception for Budget Blinds. You will not find a better group of people to work with.

Mark is a true pro. Like any good homeowner, you do your due diligence. And then you find out there are not many options when it comes to blinds. Most quotes will come from boutiques offering one brand. Budget Blinds is national and they offer every brand. We wanted motorized blinds. Mark explained their proprietary brand had better motor tech than something like Hunter Douglas. Specifically, the proprietary tech offers a rechargeable battery that doesn't need to be removed. They give you a 12' mini-usb cable, charge them once a year and that's it. And when it comes to cost, our blinds were 33% less than the big brand. Save yourself time and money and go with Mark.

Mark is fantastic to work with! This is the second time we have worked with him, both rather large projects. He is very professional and helped us to choose window treatments that look amazing. He came to assist with the install. The manufacturer missed sending parts needed to install. His colleague left to go get materials on his own so they could complete the job. We have recommended them to family & friends and will definitely look to them for future needs as well. Thank you!

Rad staff who are going to help you get the right shoe. Great advice and willingness to run back and check the sizes without making you feel weird and genuinely hyped to help you find what you are looking for. This girl with braids and glasses helped me and honestly changed how I get shoes and I cannot thank her enough. I want to say her name is Qiwana but I’m probably butchering it so badly(sorry!). This other guy with a curly side swoop top hairstyle helped my boyfriend and he was great too! Great team at Journey’s!

They had what I was looking for in addition to a decent selection but the staff were barely helpful and took 20 minutes to bring me one pair of shoes to try on. Worth it for the selection but not the staff.

The manager was great! Some tiny girl, I didnt catch her name.

This is one of my Grandmother's favorite shoe stores. She loves their selection and the store associate with the mini locs was so caring and attentive to her.

Joyce Thweat was a wonderful and extremely helpful sales person. She helped my partially deaf and partially blind mother-in-law with getting me a new pair of shoes despite she had one foot swollen larger than the other. Very kind and thoughtful lady. She deserves a raise! Keep up the excellent customer service, Joyce!!!  We'll be back.

School of Rock

My son is ten, and he’s played guitar at School of Rock for two years. He’s had several teachers, and they have all been incredibly helpful and talented and all have the gift for working with kids. He’s also in one of the bands, and those shows are beyond awesome. If you’re a fan of roots rock, classic rock, and alternative you will appreciate the choice of music - from Little Richard to Green Day.

When our son expressed an interest in drum lessons, we looked at several options. One of our neighbors is a seasoned session drummer, so we considered private lessons with him, along with a couple of programs we'd heard about through friends. We decided on School of Rock, and have watched our son's love of music and drumming skills grow beyond our expectations.
His drum instructor, Bry, has been patient, enthusiastic, and always models professionalism. The whole staff is impressive, not just as talented musicians and performers, but in their dedication to the students. Great communication with parents, too. The shows are fun and it's been a joy seeing how much he progresses from season to season. We've never regretted our decision to go with School of Rock. Highly recommend!

My kindergartener has a great time! He loves making music with the teachers and other kids.

Staff at School of Rock is amazing and very attentive! My daughter enjoys attending vocal lessons each weekend! I am very appreciative of their skills and how much my daughter has learned about singing!

I feel like this program has given my child more confidence outside of school. Something she can excel in that isn't driven by academics or testing. I also feel like the instructors and band directors are great at what they do and the organization as a whole is run really well. We hope to see her with School of Rock until she graduates from HS!

Ace Handyman Services Greater Wausau

They were able to give me clear quotes for all the services (projects) I needed to have done. The appraiser is very knowledgeable and experienced. I'm getting my work started next week.

*UPDATE 11/30/23* The work has been completed on my house, and I couldn't be happier! Thadius was great! He was even willing to do some last-minute projects. Everything turned out great! I've posted some pictures of the work I had done. My only regret is that I forgot to take "before" pictures to post as well. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. A very big thanks to Thadius, Chris, and Jeremy (appraiser)!

My chimney had been covered up before. Moisture damage over the past few years wrecked the walls and the plaster around the chimney. Thadius took care of that and more! The last-minute add-on project was all the door trimming in the photos. We discussed pricing and options before he started any work. He went above and beyond by adding the baseboards as well, which I'm thrilled about!

The "basement" photo is a former window. My house is 108 years old and settled into the ground. The windows, I had two replaced, had deteriorated and were sinking into the ground. Two more windows I had the window frame repaired. Chris had worked on the window frames while Thadius installed the cinder blocks.

I had to wait a couple of months before the repair guy could come which I totally understand but what I didn’t understand none of the prep for the new door frame , inside door frame was anticipated nor accounted for until i was told it was too late to go back, iwanted the end result to be as perfect as the new door but it didn’t turn out that way so now I’ll need yet another’s expertise to finish this one project, very disappointing

My business had several projects around the facility that needed to be addressed. Most of the projects were too small to engage a contractor, and too large to handle by our maintenance staff. I reached out to Ace to obtain some cost and time estimates, Paula responded to my request within a day and scheduled someone to come directly to my business and assess the project. I received a detailed cost estimate that met my expectations. We scheduled the work the same day I accepted the estimate. The craftsmen "Jeremy and Chris" completed the projects promptly and on cost. They were flexible in working around our business schedule and the backlog of another sub-contractor which pushed the final finish work back a couple weeks. I will continue to use Ace Handyman Services for these type of projects in the future.

They fixed a water damaged wall caused by insufficient flashing installed when the house was built. We even had rotten studs, but they completed the work in one day instead of the 3 scheduled. Our invoice was also much less than our quote. We are very pleased with their work and kindness.

We needed a 3rd bedroom and Ace Handyman Services gave us that and quick. I won't contact anyone else when I need repairs, updates or additions. From Paula who answered the phone to Jeremy who was always on time and friendly, just a great experience!

Target

Bought an item on sale at Target with proof of purchase. Needed to exchange for the exact same item in a different size-the item was no longer on sale but Target would not exchange for the previous price paid, or do a price adjustment. I think this is bad policy. I was not upset with the employees including the manager because they said this is Target’s policy. It will definitely make me think hard about purchasing something from Target.

Miss Laverne is one of the hardest working employees I ever had experience working with. She’s always on the go. She never stops moving. She’s always cleaning the bathrooms. She’s always there over her time. She’s always work over in beyond her expectations. Miss Laverne deserves a raise she deserves a metal. She deserves a very high praise. This woman does a lot for TARGET. I seen her put together something for shop with a cop within 10 minutes of her knowing that they were coming no one even told her that they were even coming, this woman does a lot more than the average other employees that work there. I just wanna say if no one else says I appreciate you a lot, Miss Laverne you are an inspiration to me. You are truly a hard worker and deserve every praise that you can get and TARGET should appreciate you. Thank you for all you do.

It’s a Target. Always seems to be clean and organized. The grocery are also is very put together and clean. The workers are usually friendly and willing to assist when needed. I prefer this one over the one in North Bossier.

I used to love Target and did most of my grocery shopping there. Unfortunately, Target recently became a place to avoid like the plague if you have a dog hair allergy, a fear of dogs or just don't like the smell and sniffing behavior of dogs around you when you shop for groceries.
Today (July 25 2021 between 3pm and 3:30pm) I encountered  a group of about 10 young women each with a fake service mutt roaming the store. About 5 of the dogs were pit bulls, one German Shepard, one Golden Retriever and the rest some other large breed.
A few weeks ago I saw  two women on two different days with small dogs in the shopping cart, wearing fake service vests. One of them had a miniature dachshound and told me that this were her emotional support dog. I complained to an employee and she gave me a number to call and discuss the issue with the headquarter. I did call this number and it turned out, that the Target representative was under the false impression that emotional support dogs were service animals, and that the law would force Target to allow dogs with service vests in the store.
It's so sad that some individuals use privileges that are in place for people with severe disabilities who depend on a real service dog.

Update July 2022:
I didn't see dogs inside Target for a long time. They must have changed their policy. Now Target is one of my favorite grocery stores again! The only issue I have is the waiting time at check out.

I had a wonderful experience with a Target employee yesterday. My 2 year old daughter fell and hit her head pretty hard and was very upset. Erica, who was busy restocking merchandise, quickly popped over and asked if she was okay and if she could get anything to help. She ran and got her a bag of ice and even an Icee!! It was above and beyond and SO appreciated :) I hope Target gives her the recognition she deserves!
