Walmart Supercenter

We are painting the wall to our privacy garden and needed painting supplies, and this Walmart location is very close to our house.

We must return as it is clean, organized, and we found every single item on our long list!

I also found some adorable Sam & Libby shoes on clearance for nine dollars! 🤩

Ordered a birthday cake 1 week early and paid for it.
The day of party/pickup they never made it.
Said the cake decorator quit.

Was there shopping this morning and I was in electronics and I needed assistance. I saw an associate moving around some TVs and changing some prices so I walked up to the associate and I said Miss can you help me with electronics she snapped at me and she said no associates name was Rosario. This will definitely hinder me purchasing electronics from Walmart in the future.

Brand new Walmart here on the west side! This was my first time visiting this Walmart Supercenter since it opened last year. It's very organized and has everything you could need. It has the newest Pick-up service which is a cool feature. Another plus is the price scan machines placed around the store. Very clean and friendly staff! Check it out if your looking for a quieter alternative to Mesa Walmart. I also utilized the gas station that us now open in the parking lot, it was convenient and cheap.

Worse costumer service. I tried to cash my check but the girl didn’t wanted to help because of my ID. She was rude and unprofessional. I when to another Walmart and they helped me. She need to get fired is not the first time she acted like that.

School of Rock

Tonight was fun! We enjoyed two hours of exploring at School of Rock! We listened to the fabulous band and sang karaoke. This is a great business where kids to adults can go make music. They offer music lessons, birthday parties, camps, workshops, and shows. Check it out!

School of Rock Louisville holds a special place in my heart! Our daughter Natalie went there for several years and also was part of the Show Team! Patrick, Brennan, Cade, and so many others all made a great impact on my daughter and she learned so much! I would greatly recommend this to anyone who has a kiddo with music in their hearts! I'd have given it six stars if I could have!

I want to thank all the music teachers at School of Rock for all you put into our kiddos. My kids love this and all great memories we are having as family because the hardwork all the staff all the way up to the owner and office manager works for their kids. My kids just love it and I know the instructors love it too!!  Look Forward every Monday Tuesday getting to enjoy it with them at Rock 101. Highly recommend this has been a great positive experience for my family. Love that it’s even the parents to get back rocking again!!

Our son has been receiving drum lessons from here for a while. He loves it and his instructor, Jackson. I like how they collaborate to make songs and his style of playing works so well with our son's free-spirited ways. Thank you, School of Rock!

I just got back from my free trial lesson with Tonie (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) and it was amazing! I love the work that Louisville School Of Rock is doing with their young students helping them gain confidence and helping them find opportunities to perform in the community. I learned a lot from Tonie in a short 30 minute session, and never once did I feel uncomfortable or under criticism. The pricing is reasonable and they have biweekly lessons for poor busy adults like myself, so I will definitely be going back!

Shoe Carnival

Frequent customer, three employees present all working on display,  I looked around 5 min with no contact, had a question approached associates setting display,  they were conversing and I stood in front of them for nearly a full min before one asked if they could help, “ we don’t have Nautica in store” - turned away  and continued with her coworker.
I went back and found a pr of Sketchers I liked on a display stand without a price,  Went to find associate - showed her - “ it shouldn’t be there - it goes here - we only have these four pair- though we might be able to order”. - immediately spun around and walked away.  I was confounded, and not happy. Found my wife who had found something without any contact with store employee and we headed toward checkout.  There were two other customers in store and no one had checked out  during the 15 minutes we shopped,  one associate or manager was at check out cutting out sales flyers or something.  She never looked up at us once, we sat shoes down in front of her and she did nothing. I coughed and without stopping her paper cutting or making eye contact she muttered “ a cashier will be with you”.  I was done.  Terrible customer service - after years I don’t think I can go back.  I asked my wife if she wanted to leave, she nodded and we turned to leave as a cashier approached that had been working on display and answers my question earlier.  “ I got you”.  I said “ we’re done, not buying here, terrible customer service that cutting paper is more important then a customer at checkout and my interactions with you today has been disappointing”

Funny thing,  sign on door saying no cameras or pause of phones for taking pictures allowed.

I can remember the name of the shoes and I’ll be buying them online from another retailer.

I was pleasantly greeted upon entering the store and again upon leaving. No offers to help. Other than that, I was invisible to staff. They were busy chatting amongst themselves at the front of the store. Nice selection of shoes fairly well organized. Great option if you want to shop in peace.

Great selection of shoes for men, women, children with many sizes/seasonal options. Fun choices thrown in with traditional styles.

i love how they jsut stand there at the door not cleaning, stocking or anything before the store opens. it’s kind of rude to customers that they jsut stand there and not let us in even if it’s 20 minutes early. they are literally doing nothing. it’s disrespectful

Bobby Jo .......she was nice and professional.....I fell in love with some shoes and couldn't find my size so I went 1/2 up....see how they work. It only took me 30 minutes to find the awesome pair of shoes.

Ace Handyman Services Grand Rapids SE

I had Terry and his team from Ace Handyman Services in Grand Rapids, MI, do a variety of tasks around my house in Caledonia, MI including fixing various boards on my deck, fixing gates on my deck, putting up vinyl boards where woodpeckers had caused damage, drywalling and sanding where a room heater was in the wall, some small electrical work in my house, and adding some barriers to keep my yellow lab out of certain areas around my house.  Terry and his team did a great job and he is willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is satisfactory.  He is very honest and trustworthy.  I highly recommend him and his team.

I've had Terry Steffen work through a few things for me, and have more scheduled as well. I'll not hesitate to call again when needed. Ralph, David and Dave have all done jobs at my home. They were great!

Dave was on time and after a brief discussion about the project, we
discussed the time and cost. After getting the materials he went right to work. I am very pleased with his work.

We love using Ace Handyman. They have great communicate throughout the job, always letting us know what to expect. Will definitely use them in the future for projects at home.

Ace Handyman Services Grand Rapids assisted my carpentry and balcony deck projects: bookshelves repair; wood boards replacement and railing repaint.  Both projects seemed straightforward, yet the tasks ended up challenging due to my loading capacity needs and the height/weight of balcony unit.  Terry, Ralph and Dave did the job professionally with the exact skills needed.  They were also courteous and easy to communicate with.

Excellent experience. I went back a couple of times to check on the set I had in mind before finally being able to bring my husband. We got the bedroom set, mattresses, and a mechanical base. It was so helpful to be able to buy them all in one place, knowing it would all fit together. Excellent service my Michelle throughout the entire process.

Upon entering, I was looking at a sectional that I liked but was then greeted by Bryant. I showed him the sectional I was looking at online and he showed me the floor model. I was considering a different color until I saw the other color in person so decided on that. He asked for the online price & said he could beat it and he did. He was professional and personable. He was thorough and explained the charges & made sure the design was correct.

Excellent shopping experience. Sherri Dorsey was our sales person. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and kind to us. She made our sale go very smoothly and store selection was very good. We will be shopping here again soon .

I went in for a sofa. Michelle McCall greeted me. She was so helpful, friendly, personable and professional. She helped me find everything I was looking for. Even looked some things up on the .com store to help me find some floor lamps they didn’t carry in the store. So I was able to order them as well. Highly recommend Ashley Furniture. Returning customer. Always greeted with employees who have a smile on their face and propt to offer their assistance. Customer service is helpful but not pushy. Prices are fair and products are of good quality. Julio was our customer service rep who did an excellent job. Will certainly be returning for future purchases!

During our recovery from a major fire, Paul Davis' team was truly amazing. We are very impressed with the quality of our restoration and would highly recommend them to all. Also, we enjoyed working with our Project Manager Benson. He was very attentive to the details of our whole house restoration from our fire.

Between the various different crews, Paul Davis was in constant contact with us and kept us very well informed of what was happening and what would come next. The finish work was fantastic and the project manager was extraordinarily helpful and informative over what was being done. Steve and his crew did an amazing job getting us back to better than before condition.

Do not recommend this Ace! Waited patiently for 5 weeks for several screens to come back looking like this. When my wife picked them up she raised concern that the screens were misshaped and they told her that was normal (no it's not).Now I get to spend more money to do them myself. Thanks Ace!

We purchased a rv water pressure regulator from the Davis Ace Hardware in Springerville Arizona. We installed it, it did not work as intended. The water flow was very slow. We fussed with it for a while, with no change. It would not work as needed.

My wife took it back for a refund a week later when she was heading into town. With the open package, and receipt in hand, she politely asked for a refund. She was exposed to having to go through several level of scrutiny,  by different employees, at one point having to wait five to tens minutes while they chose to test it. An older gentleman came back and told her that it works. My wife said,  it didn't work for us, and he said it works here. My wife ask for a manager,  and made contact with the owner. The owner said they could not return it, they had to make a store wide policy that if the item worked, they wouldn't except returns. The reason she gave, was because people are returning air-conditioners, and heaters after using them after a couple of weeks. My wife said, she would not do something like that, and also replied, so I just suppose to put this part in a drawer that doesn't work. The owner replied, oh I doubt that will happen.

My wife returned home very distraught, as she has never gone through such scrutiny for simply returning an item at an Ace Hardware store. We later put the regulator on, just to see it still not work. Our original  was only replaced due to it had developed a leak, otherwise worked flawlessly.

A few days later my wife called the manufacturer of the regulator and they were very accommodating. A Mr. Quincy was surprised to here about issue, and advised to try again and let Davis Ace Hardware know, they will stand behind the product. If they had any issues that they could call him and he would verify it.

The following day I returned to Davis Ace Hardware and politely asked for a refund, stating my wife was in a few days ago and was not able to get a refund. I was referred to another employee and sharply told no we will not refund that item. I explained the part does not work as I have reinstalled it after they tested it and it still does not work. The employee stated the owner has already made a ruling on this, and she had previously came down an talked to your wife about it. The employee said, they will not return it. I left with out what I would call a fair resolution.

Essentially it as though both my wife and I were called liers. It is very unlikely at the store they were able to duplicate pressure and flow through the regulator that would be consistent under its intended use. My  wife had previously asked them if they wanted to come over and test it with us, they were welcome. They said they could not do that, which I understand, but we had nothing to hide.

My assessment of the experience is due to the return policies being abused by others, we were victimized by there stereotyping. If we are doing something wrong, I get it, however we had a malfunction part, returned it with receipt a week later under the sitxy days as required on the receipt. We did nothing wrong, but it was implied we had. To say the least it was a very disappointing experience. Bottom line if the part had worked it would have been used.

It is unfortunate but we will have take our bussiness elsewhere. I do not recommend this store, due lack of integrity by not standing behind their products, and the disrespectful treatment.

P.S.
And no giving us a gas-lite response will not make this behavior acceptable.

Great store. Very helpful staff but high prices. Although, this is not their fault but due to the other issues in the state and inflation driving costs up.

It has been a couple months since I have been back and I am a week behind on  this review. I gotta say that Ray is a killer in that repair shop. I have to travel quite a distance to this store but it is worth it. He is speedy, efficient,  professional, and knows his stuff. If there is a repair shop closer, my suggestion is to bypass it, go the extra miles and get it done correctly and quickly. Thank you Ray and Mrs Davis!!!

I agree with the last 2 reviews. These people are not there for you except to take your money. I bought a kitchen faucet valve that ruptured after 21 days after purchase. There is only 30 psi going into it. I asked to return it and they said "No, it's a manufacturer problem and to talk to them." Kind of interesting because my business sells parts and hardware items to consumers including appliances. When a customer returns a product to me, I myself contact the manufacturer and I give my consumers a new part or item back and I deal with the manufacturer who then sends the new item back to me.  I am a local who's been here for many years and I do not recommend these people. My receipt is also below to show proof to would be future customers.
*update 1/14/21- Owner responded by saying that my faucet froze in 70 degree ambient temperature home that I LIVE full time right up the street from them. I actually wanted a replacement not a REFUND. I also purposely adjusted my inlet water pressure regulator valve to my home to prevent ruptured water lines. I also have a pre warmer for my home for the cold water inlet to my home including a 5 stage water filtration system. Any other excuse you want to give? I don't have to walk in to be helped, why have a business phone line? Self entitled selfish owners.

I am thrilled to be a customer of Birkenstock Attitudes.  This store is a small, family owned business, that provides top notch customer service.  I was searching for a pair of Birkenstock Arizona's Big Buckle Gator Print in Brown.  The Birkenstocks were not listed on their webpage, but when I reached out to Paul, he immediately checked his stock and found a pair in my size!!  Paul provided me with photos of the exact pair of Arizonas that I would be receiving.  He mailed them on a Saturday and I received them on Monday (all the way in California), which seems lightening fast if you consider the distance (TX -> CA).  The Birkenstocks that I received were exactly the pair that were photographed by Paul.  I highly recommend purchasing your Birkenstocks from Birkenstock Attitudes, you will not be disappointed!  I look forward to purchasing many more Birkenstocks from this wonderful family business.  Keep up the good work and THANKS A MILLION for EXCELLENT customer service!!

Excelente customer service! My twins needed a pair of Birkenstocks, but we were unsure what size to purchase. The gentleman who helped us was amiable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our twins got a pair of Birkenstocks sandals, and they love them!

Excellent customer service the gentleman that helped us out was extremely patient and attentive he pulled around 10 pairs of shoes without hesitation and was able to help out out find the right one for my friends feet.
I have always been a fan of Birkenstock shoes cause I know they are the perfect fit for my feet now I’m glad  Mesa store has as well the perfect customer service.

Been shopping here for about 7 years now, latest visit was very pleasant, gentleman at the store was able to help me adjust an older pair of Boston clogs and assisted me with my newest clog purchase. Ace Handyman Services Katy

Abraham arrived on time, repaired our front door problem and was very pleasant throughout the appointment. He seems to be very knowledgeable about several types of household issues and I will use Ace and request Abraham when needed again. Great experience!

I did NOT have a good experience dealing with this company.

I don't want to air all of my personal issues to the public but I am dealing with a hospice situation.  The light in my kitchen went out and it wasn't the bulb, so an acquaintance of mine recommended this company.

I scheduled the first available appointment because of all of the things going on in my life right now. So they scheduled me for 8:30am, and I pushed all of my plans for later in the day.

They did not show up at the appointed time and I received no call or text saying they were going to be late.  So I was working on my other issues, I walk back and pick up my phone from the living room and see that and hour and 5 minutes after the scheduled time I get a call from a Denice who didn't leave a message.

I didn't know who that was it could be a nurse or a sales call?  As I was checking to see if they left a message I get a text stating the technician is on his way.

I texted back that this was the first communication that I have received in a little over an hour past our appointment.  I asked, "Do we get a discount?"  Mainly out of frustration and the fact that they are expensive, so I expected better communication with the customer.  If I wanted this kind of service I would have gone with a different option.

Their response was immediate, we always have a window of an hour, please confirm that you want to move forward.  Then texted back, I just stopped the technician.

I explained my frustration and told her what was going on and her response was... I called you and you didn't answer.

I moved my whole day for this and to have no customer service on top of this, just aggravated me, so I told her to keep my appointment cancelled because if this is how their company responds to their customers, I don't want to do business with them.

They responded, Sorry for the inconvenience.  All I wanted was something to be taken off of my plate.  I never make complaints, but I needed to make this one.

Couldn't ask for a better company to work with. Mary in the office was so nice. They always kept you in the loop on the status of the job and always on time. We will definitely be using them again.

Called out to adjust corner cabinets, after assurances from company they could.  Tech could not adjust.  While there had him caulk one bathtub and change one piece of trim.  Charged over $ 200 when the purpose for the call was not resolved.  First and last time using ACE Handyman.

ACE Handyman of Katy redid my shower stall floor. It was very unsafe and slippery before.
They also installed a safer attic ladder. The previous one fell on my head.
