The Electronics and Woodforest Bank Employees leave much to be desired as well as the selection of plants in the Garden Center.Stocking should be updated.There are some store employees who are polite.Thank You.

Instead of asking for my receipt please get me a basket. You have cashiers checking their phones before scanning my items. I refused to check myself out although at times I’m forced to. The shelves are stocked; that’s a plus. I’ve noticed that some Walmarts have more variety than others.

Run down place staffed by people who do not care about the customers or the products. This is what you get when you can only hire those "other" cultures. My wife drives 40 miles to shop at Cleveland. Screw Clarksdale and its black people. Kroger's let because of this.

Walmart can just save themself some money if they shutdown that garden center completely zero care taking happening there, that ain't nothing but a place to send plants to die...

Lemoi Ace Hardware

They always have just what I need and usually some things I didn’t know I needed until I saw them there - like fairy bulbs. The employees are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

This particular Ace felt like a good old-fashioned hardware store. I walked in, and the smell of nostalgia hit hard. Customer service was excellent, and  everyone was friendly.

Take that two-star Home Depot. You can actually find things here. The staff is helpful and actually knows things. And the whole place isn’t crammed with useless junk while not having basic tools.  Plus the screws and bolts and fasteners section is a  dream for fix-it nerds like myself.

Great selection and fantastic service. This is the place to go for advice, service, and selection.  Spending the extra few dollars is always worth going to this store.

The Ace Hardware at this location is great. The staff are approachable and helpful, which makes shopping a lot easier. It's also very convenient to get to. Although the store is small, they manage to fit a lot of items in there, which is helpful for locals. If you're looking for hardware items, it's definitely worth checking out.

School of Rock

School of Rock has drastically changed my outlook on music and team work. You realize just how much fun it is playing in a group or in front of an audience, and not just in your bedroom. I'm so glad I signed up for vocal lessons, and so glad I got the teacher I did. Everyone here is extremely friendly, and it really feels like a family. I would recommend School of Rock to any musician, aspiring or even professional, purely for the fact that this place makes my day and makes me a better musician.

Over the 3 years I've been here, School of Rock has become my home away from home. The relationships I have formed with the staff and fellow musicians have shaped who I am as a person. My guitar playing has Improved greatly not only because of lessons but also the performance programs offered. I am currently taking 3 lessons per week, participating in two bands offered by the school and interning. It is easy to say that School of Rock has changed not only my life, but almost everyone who goes here. Do yourself or your kids a favor and sign them up for School of Rock. -Sam Frederickson, 18

My daughter has been a student at School of Rock Evanston for going on 2 years and LOVES the time she gets to spend there.  The school is filled with teachers, young and oldish, all passing along their love of making music to a younger generation.  The community is very welcoming and my daughter feels valued and supported by everyone in it.  I HIGHLY recommend giving your kids this kind of experience, mine has benefitted immensely from her time here!

If you are thinking about taking lessons or signing your child up for lessons, you should seriously reconsider this location. Find a corporate location that has the proper resources. This place is overall NOT functional and failing.

One of my sons drums with Mac and the other plays guitar with Zach; they both absolutely love School of Rock.  Personally, I like the low-key vibe and how the other students act like it is a clubhouse.  Everyone is very friendly and supportive.

Lakeview Ace Hardware

Phenomenal hardware store with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They have everything you could possibly need for your home fixes and DIY projects: paint, gardening tools/potting soil, lighting, cleaning supplies, auto supplies, power tools, screws/nuts/bolts/hardware, lumber, key copying, air filters, water filters, and so so much more. This store is very well stocked, so be sure to ask someone for what you need, because they most definitely have it!

Stopped in to look for a Christmas tree stand to (hopefully) replace perhaps the single biggest cause of holiday anxiety in our home - the wobbly screws in our current stand that barely keep our tree upright each December.

I mentioned this to Russ, who immediately introduced me to the Krinner, the gold-standard for Christmas tree stands. I was making my way to purchase it when I got a text from my mom that she had already bought one at another Ace location based on overwhelming recommendations!

I didn’t end up needing the stand, but I left the store knowing I would be back soon, and I would be in good hands with Russ and the rest of the staff.

I’m a huge fan of smaller hardware stores such as the Lakeview Ace Hardware for the knowledgeable employees they always seem to hire. Yes the bigger box stores often carry a wider array of items but when you’re looking for something small and random, those places never seem to know if they even carry what you’re looking for and more often than not don’t seem interested in helping me either. Hardware stores like this, I truly appreciate and they’re locally owned franchises so it’s money coming back into the community.

Man who helped me was very rude, and bent the key I asked him to copy. I was unaware one of my keys were not able to be copied and he was very rude when he informed me. As I thanked him for helping me he curtly said goodbye.
Go to the Ace on Broadway and Cornelia instead.

A plastic bag strap buckle broke, but I wasn't ready to give up on the free canvas bag I received from an employer in the 1990s.

Luckily, neither was Russ at Lakeview Ace Hardware.

Russ suggested a metal replacement to reconnect the strap, and to my surprise, he actually got down on the concrete floor to hammer the new triangle piece closed for me!

I have been to this Ace Hardware location many times since I moved to Buena Park (an Uptown neighborhood) in 2004, and I have consistently received outstanding service. I highly recommend Russ and the rest of the team!

JC Licht Ace River North

Always passed this place off bc it looked so small, but it's actually all underground. Really has 90% of the hardware needs you'd have in the city for a good price.

Jaimie, you are one of the best key person I have met in a while. You not only save me bucks but you eased my worrisome mind.

Call to get a window fix they told me over the phone yes they can fix it after driving there five miles they said first they don't do window an then said didn't have the tools to fix but it's ok I'll never deal with that store

Most staff are helpful - the young lady at the cashier station needs to change her attitude though...

JC Licht Ace South Loop

Had good experiences with customer service here, and good selection! Only reason for 3 star review is that I have had trouble with quality of Ace Hardware brand tools :( recently I bought a torx screwdriver set here and it stripped out almost immediately on me. I have an iFixit set at home that has worked marvelously for multiple laptop jobs, but this set wore out after 10 screws.

Ace has everything! And is extremely close to my sons apartment. So it literally is the neighborhood hardware store. For a socket set and small trash can there. Plus Oxy Clean powder. They even have key making services and snacks!  Great option for necessities.

This store is a neighborhood treasure - good inventory and good service.

Always very friendly and some of the staff seem to know quite a bit, others do not really and act bothered if you ask for help.  The prices are quite high however and with limited return policies and lack of stock, its not worth going to if you can order online/go to home depot.  This area is extremely limited on building supplies.  The next best bet is probably the Ace in river north, much better selection, gold coast ace is just as limited, as is the home depot in south loop.

I run a restaurant in the area and have stopped by this location multiple times for various pieces of hardware. The employees are always friendly and helpful! The assistant manager Alex helped me today and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience!

Ace Handyman Services SE Wisconsin

Thank you to Ace Handyman Services for installing crown moulding to all four bedrooms, main entrance, and 1/2 bath. The simple things make the most impact for me 💗 (not simple to install, though🥲). Chris did an amazing job installing the crown moulding. This is my second time using Ace Handyman, and they do not disappoint. Karen is exceptional at getting everything set up from start to finish. The craftsman are professional, on time, and meticulous. Added some before and after pictures ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I needed two sets of closet doors installed for the two bedrooms of my home. Initially, I had another installer, but they canceled appointments on me 4 (!) times. I contacted Ace Handyman Services after the last cancellation and they were able to have one of their Craftsmen come out the following week. The installation of the spare bedroom closet doors went smoothly, however there was a complication during the installation of the main bedroom closet doors. Apparently, the previous installer didn’t measure correctly so the doors were a little too big for the opening, however Dwight was very resourceful suggesting to pull back the crown molding from around the closet opening and luckily there was some extra space. He ended up having to pull off the molding, install the doors then trim the molding and put it back up, whew! It looks amazing!! You can’t even tell that the molding was trimmed and the doors fit perfectly. I am very happy with my closet doors and Dwight deserves all the Gold Stars! I will definitely be calling on Ace Handyman Services for my future projects. Thank you, Dwight, Sarah and everyone at Ace Handyman Services :)

I hired them yesterday to replace my bathroom faucet and clean my dryer vent. Brian was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Explained everything to me. The price was very reasonable. They will definitely be my go-to guys from now on!

OMG, just stopped in and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They carry a nice line of equipment and offered to order additional items I’ll likely need through a catalog. Besides being knowledgeable about mobility challenges, they were very insightful about the whole and care giving process.  It’s nice to have a locally owned and operated business that really cares about the people they serve

Gus Bock's Ace Hardware

I bought a Weber Grill at Gus Bock's Ace Hardware and had a great experience there. Nate was very helpful in getting my order correct and delivery scheduled. I had my fully assembled Weber grill delivered on the upper level of my deck. Great service. I highly recommend this store.

Again, this place is close to Our house and very convenient to get too for certain items. The store is super clean and the staff is very courteous everytime I have been there. Whether it be a  plumbing part or paint or an item for the yard, the prices are pretty good. They also have carpet cleaners to rent, which We just did the other day. Bought a Stihl ms180 chainsaw, realized it was to small and returned it the next morning unused. They Don't normally exchange chainsaws but they did anyway and I upgraded to a bigger more powerful saw. They were very friendly,  helpful. Excellent service,  I would definitely shop there in the future.

I needed a key fob for my car. Had it ordered, 3 days later fob was  at ace.  They called and i went to have the fob programed.   10 min later fob was programed.  Price was right , service great.

Powell Ace Home Center

Living in a smaller community is very nice but for shopping there aren't many choices like you have in big cities so you have to travel to the bigger cities to shop for what ever you're looking for and to get good prices . But in West Lebanon we have Powell Ace Home Center and they carry everything you need in hardware, home improvement and gardening and so much more. You get great quality and value and very competitive prices. The store associates are friendly and courteous and knowledgeable and helpful to assist you with your questions and concerns and they give you great advice for anything that you need help with and they don't talk over you and make sure you understand what you need help with or the tools or products that you are purchasing. They have a very sweet and very helpful woman that will cut and program your vehicle keys that have the computer chip in them and she does this for half the cost of having a locksmith do it and I know because I could only find one locksmith agency that cuts and programs the chip keys and depending on the vehicle the locksmith charges two to four times the price that they charge at Powell. The store and grounds are neat and clean and uncluttered and well organized and the shelves are well stocked. You'll save time and money shopping here instead of going to the bigger chain stores in the bigger city. I highly recommend Powell Ace Home Center for their high quality and value and knowledge and convenience. I can't wait for spring when the garden center is in full swing. They have the best plants available and the best advice for planting and caring for them. If you haven't already you need to go and check them out and you'll be surprised and glad you did. Great store and shopping experience!!

I bought paint that was literally titled “black” when I took it home it was more of a grey color. I went back to buy more paint that was actually black and the women told me should could not formulate a color for BLACK….

Edit/Reply to owner: The color of the paint I purchased did not dry black, it dried grey.. it dried LIGHTER not darker. When I went back to have it corrected, I was told by the staff that they could "not formulate" a color for a "darker" black. (And just so we are clear, I went back to PURCHASE MORE, not exchange, not get a refund... I WAS SPENDING MORE MONEY). When I went to a different store and they were able to do it NO PROBLEM. I have also added a picture of the first "black" I purchased that your team told me was the best they could do and the second TRUE BLACK that I got from another store.

p.s. if anyone needs almost a full gallon of grey paint, let me know.... you can have it
