I recently enrolled my grandchildren in British Swim School, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. The instructors are not only highly skilled in swimming techniques but also excel in teaching essential survival skills. This dual focus on swimming proficiency and safety is what sets this school apart.

From the first lesson, the instructors have shown remarkable patience and expertise, catering to each child's unique learning pace and style. They have a wonderful way of making learning fun while ensuring that each child grasps the critical aspects of water safety and survival techniques.

What impresses me the most is the school's dedication to ensuring that every child becomes a confident swimmer. The survival skills training, which includes teaching children how to float, tread water, and stay calm in unexpected water situations, is invaluable. These skills are not just for the pool but for life, providing peace of mind to us as parents.

The facility is top-notch, with clean and well-maintained pools, making the entire learning experience pleasant and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to address any questions or concerns.

British Swim School has not only taught my grandchildren how to swim but also instilled a sense of confidence and respect for water in them. I highly recommend this swim school to any parent looking for a comprehensive, safety-focused swimming education for their children.

The employees at GNC Eola are extremely knowledgeable about the products in the store.

Which is a massive sigh of relief when you would have questions or comparisons of products and employees tend to try and sell you the more expensive one to boost their numbers.

The employees there are all great, and the products they sell are awesome. You can always have a great conversation with them there and talk about pretty much everything.

The promotions they run are also great, and they let you try out the products with a promise of a return or exchange if the product just isn't enjoyable for you.

I've been a member for about a month now.  Ownership is very engaging which is appreciated.  There's tons of equipment to offer.  Air conditioning's on point.  Locker room cleanliness and bathrooms are on point.  Members are respectful and fun to talk with.  There's more comradery here than any other gym I've had a membership with.  I'm more of a calisthenics and mobility focused guy, but it's always fun to talk with the power lifters and strongmen.  It's also nice to know if I injury myself, I can just roll over to Evolve for physical therapy, lol.  Looking forward to the future here

Been going to mpg for about 4 years and have made tons of progress due to mpgs great equipment and atmosphere. The new location is very well equipped and very neat and clean. Mpg is a second home to me and will continue to go there for a long time.

Lucky if it’s 63* in the area where the power lifters are warming up and performing.   A power lifting event in a venue this cold?  Chief in charge said to open a door lmao 😂  Lots of lifters complaining they can’t stay warm.  I’ll await for the smart azz reply.  #amatuerhourgym

Plainfield Fit Body Boot Camp

This place is AMAZING!!!  It's clean, welcoming, and you will get a great work out!  Coach James and Coach Pat are fabulous instructors and will help you with your fitness journey.  I had 7 years of CrossFit and 2 years personal training, so I was skeptical TBH.  If you have a busy schedule and want to get your workout in with high energy, this place is for you.  I'm so thankful to have found a place with great culture and treats you like family!

Joined 10mo ago and I love it. The workout is 30min long but if you feel like you want to spend more time - more than welcome, there’s an additional 10min meltdown. The positive environment and dedicated coaches make it the best place to spend a good workout!

The best 30-minute body make-over you will ever get.  The FBBC staff are awesome and personable.  FBBC Coaches are very passionate, professional, and well-rounded with overall fitness. I like how organized and clean FBBC is.

The music is moving, and the coaches are determined and full of energy.  They all have their unique style, in keeping you challenged, but they all work towards the same objective, in perfecting your technique and performance, while keeping it fun. Their training techniques are always fresh; I look forward to my next challenge.

If you really want to get to know yourself, and what you’re made of, this is the place to be or if you’re just looking for a friendly atmosphere with positive energy and a great workout for 30 minutes, come check it out and meet the family.

I love everything about this gym! I've never liked to work out, and now I go almost every day. The coaches are fantastic, so motivating and really helpful with modifications if you need them. The workouts are challenging but adaptable to every fitness level, and they keep it interesting - something different every day. Everyone there is friendly and encouraging; there is a strong community vibe that is welcoming and makes you feel like family. If you are thinking about joining - do it - you won't regret it!

I couldn’t be any happier with my decision a little over a year ago to try out free trial classes at Fit Body Boot Camp. I was instantly hooked. The quick, but effective classes offered multiple times a day fit perfectly into my chaotic, unpredictable life. Immediately, I felt like a member of the FBBC family.

The coaches are highly educated and helpful. They encourage and push you to get the most out of your workout. They get to know you, you are definitely not just a number in a class. The members become friends and motivate you to get to class when you may not feel like it. There is a genuine family feel; everyone celebrates your wins both inside and outside of the gym. I look forward to coming to the gym to workout.

The gym is kept extremely clean. The owner Steve is passionate about his gym and its members and goes above and beyond for us. He is always adding new equipment to keep our workouts fresh. He also coordinates plenty of opportunities for the gym and its members to give back to the community.

Visiting Angels

We have used other agencies and caregivers, but Ann with Visiting Angels was by far the very best with my dad. She was empathetic, kind, patient and filled with ideas to assist us and my dad. She went above and beyond every, single visit. We had to place my dad in a facility full time and that’s the only reason we stopped Visiting Angels services.

Visiting Angels helped to take care of my father while providing care that maintained his dignity. We had Pam and Amira! My Dad and Mom thoroughly enjoyed Breakfast with Pam on Saturday mornings. My mom is extremely stubborn and Pam was able to kindly do things that made my mom’s life easier, despite her objections.  My Dad said that Amira was newer and still learning, but she always made him feel at ease.
It’s taken some time for me to write the review as my Dad passed away.
Visiting Angels were top notch and I would recommend to anyone in need!

Visiting Angels is perfectly named as the caregivers for our mother are truly angels. Thank goodness for Visiting Angels - they have made our whole family be able to be worry free with the support,  genuine care , and companionship they give our 97 year old mother. We are very fortunate to have access, in  St. Charles,  to their organized care.

I have used Visiting Angels out of South Elgin IL for the past 2 years to help in caring for my elderly mother. I could not have accomplished this task without them. Our Angel, Suzie, was AMAZING and quickly felt like part of the family. Mom felt like she was a dear friend and that made her feel so happy. I really can’t say enough good things about all that Visiting Angels has done for us. After a small mix up at the front of my appointment, the StretchLab was totally understanding and accommodating. Sophia, my Stretch Assistant, was super knowledgeable and great to work with. I will be back!

Very warm welcome and professional introduction to Stretch Lab. Tina has a great background and she’s very instructive throughout each stretch (e.g. why the stretch is important and what it impacts). As someone with many past injuries, Tina was very sensitive to ensuring each stretch complied with realities while ensuring the targeted area received the necessary attention. Highly recommend and look forward to future visits with the team!

Zuhair is so dedicated in providing an excellent stretch experience.  He listens closely to what I have to say and works hard to remedy the situation.

Bilal always greets customers with a smile and a kind word.  He works hard to make sure that my stretches are scheduled to my availability.

Tina R at the Naperville Lab on 59 is the most knowledgeable and the greatest!
She tailors your stretch to you body; in my case, what is tight on the left of my body is different from what is on the right side of my body.  And she knows how to stretch a tight muscle many different ways in case you have an achy joint.

Always a great stretch when I come here.  The staff really do a good job of keeping notes to help increase your flexibility.  Zuhair has really helped my flexibility recently.  He continues to increase my range of motion which is not easy as I'm over six foot tall.

British Swim School at LA Fitness – Naperville Rte 59

My son has been taking swim classes at this location for a few months. I have no complaints about the lessons themselves or any British Swim School employees, but our experience with this LA Fitness location has been a disaster. Parents are not allowed to sit on the pool deck to view the lessons, instead you have to sit in a designated area in the lobby.

Today my wife attempted to watch my son’s lesson through the window into the pool area and was berated by an LA Fitness employee named Tanisha, who accused my wife of trying to steal credit card information from her computer. Apparently this employee has been exceptionally rude to everyone affiliated with the swim school, both parents and employees of the school. Needless to say we will not continue with swim lessons.

The shame is that my son really enjoys his lessons and the location is vey convenient for us. If you’re interested in lessons with this company, avoid this location at all costs.

I showed up at 5:50 pm and the store closes at 6pm. I get it’s almost closed but it isn’t 6pm. The young cashier apparently just wanted to lock up early and turn away customers so they could go home early. Bad service

Jeff is a class act.  Committed to fitness and the community.  A great resource that will not just try to sell you a product to make a profit!
