Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

We love Papa Murphy’s, from the pizza to the employees…usually 4-5 stars!  But this new chicken beer cheese pizza?  Where’s the chicken??  It was like something a toddler would make, when the pantry and fridge are running on empty.  Disappointing…but we will continue our patronage (at least once/week).. just not this um…’pizza’.

2 times now my desert did not get home with my order.  Don’t recall it being on the same shelf with my pizza.  Did I forgot it ?  Not ever have the energy to drive back or call the store so I just never get to have a desert.  Really good pizza,  just need you to put my dessert on the same self somehow so it is not forgotten.

Pros:
1) Relatively cheap
2) Fairly good options for toppings and styles
3) Flavors fairly good - the sausage options are good

Cons:
1) No option for just stuffed crust - just stuffed pizza
2) For the stuffed pizza, you can’t specify which toppings to put on top or inside the pizza (like if you wanted to change the cheese on top or have pepperoni added to the top of the pizza
3) Standard downside of Papa Murphy’s, being that you have to cook the pizza yourself. Makes it tough to ever have 3 (or maybe even 2) pizzas ready at a time

I placed an online order and my pizza was ready right on time. The employees at this location were friendly and did a great job making a quality pizza. Thank you!

Weird how they have the same rude service as the other state line road store and both have the same wrong hours posted. Or maybe they just don't want to put in the work. Either way I'm going to sarpinos or original

Shell Xpress Mart

When it first opened it was pleasant but there's a stringy haired wyatboy that I'm sure is only there to ruin this busy. I just stop going. The second problem  is the price. Ridiculous.

Avg gas price is .10 cents more than anywhere else and the POS pumps card readers don't work. The reader tells you to go inside to pay regardless of which pump you use. THEN THESE SCAMMERS CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR USING THE INDOOR CARD READER.

These guys are ruthless. They up charge depending on who u are and how they feel. I asked em to run a certain AMT on my card, and it didn't go thru, so I literally had to get a dollar in gas. When I got back to my car I saw thru my debit card notification on my phone that he ran it for way too much. And he did that on purpose.
Over priced, rude, not worth wasting your money

I will never go to this gas station again first thing is for regular gas they charge 2.73 and the average gas price for missouri is 2.66 a gallon as well the customer service is not good and they try to charge you 35 cent to use your credit or debit card . How can they charge you money to spend money what their doing is called price gouging

They are a dime higher then anyone else on gas and they would not let me warmup on my bike ride home from work even after I bought a over priced candy bar

Never on Sunday Greek Restaurant

I went on the eve of Thanksgiving at 12:30 pm. This place wasn't busy,  but it should have been!! I got a Gyro with Fries & Salad, and Hummus. My daughter got the Gyro bowl and Spanokopita. It was all DELICIOUS!! If I could have changed anything,  it would have been a little Olive Oil on top of the hummus. It had excellent flavor, but was a little dry. This small business should definitely be supported! When I am in KC again, I will definitely be back! Keep up with the great food!!

Great staff. Looked like they are doing some remodeling. Prices are reasonable. Menu (posted above the riding area) only has comb pricing. You can just order sandwich without side! We are always looking for a good gyro!. It’s out of the way for us maybe would go again if we were some close but won’t make a special  trip. We need a great gyro place downtown KC.

Can't believe I haven't given this place five stars already! Been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Great food everytime and wonderful service. Fantastic gyros. Really appreciate this restaurant.

I arrived in the between meals afternoon and my server was also cooking, and apologized that my first two requests had just come out of the oven and needed time to finish final cooking. But the gyro sandwich was mouth-watering and dolmas satisfying like all great Greek food! Yummy spanakopita, too.

I’ll make regular stops here for more of this culinary excellence, I’m sure. Overall 4 ⭐️!

How sad. Used to be one of my favorite Greek restaurants but carryout we just picked up was mediocre. Souvaki was tough and over cooked. Salads were tiny. Haven't tried gyro yet but my expectations are low now

Walmart Supercenter

Walmart Supercenter at Stateline and 135th.
Clean well lit building. Shelves were stocked and organized. For the day before Christmas I expected it to be busier.

I’m not a fan of check yourself out or bathrooms that aren’t clean.

WalMart is always an experience.  Fewer checkers and more self check-outs.  But this year they have lots of cute Christmas sweaters, onesies and dress up clothes.  They have sure to win ugly sweaters from the cow with "Christmas Mood" to the Flamingo (personal favorite).  One of the best Christmases  my 3 friends and I all dressed up in Christmas attire like the below, going out on the town.  It was a huge hit and lots of memories..... so check out Walmart's Christmas section before it all sells out.

This experience was horrible to say the least!
I was there to pick up  tires that I purchased online.  I had planned to schedule an installation but......
When I got to the outside service door for customers,  it was locked. An employee of the store was trying to exchange a battery and was also surprised.  I stayed in my car,  calling the service number for the next 15 minutes.  Finally drove to the front and customer service said and assured that someone would be back there to assist when I drive back around.
Nope, I actually knocked loudly on the door.  Sat on the bench and  called every number for the store with no luck,  no response.
Drove back to the front,  walked to the service center and found two employees working by the door I was knocking on.
When I received my purchase,  they were plopped in my basket and I was expected to put them in my car.  Thankfully the Very nice security guy walked out and loaded them into my car.

I had a question regarding shopping, and I asked for help with one of the lead on this store. He called someone on the radio, and I waited more than 25 minutes; I saw him again near Aisle 1, and then he hide.

The Walmart at 133rd & State Line needs better management. They are out of a lot of products & they don't keep their shelves restocked even when they have the groceries on pallets in the back of the store. Sitting on revenue because, too cheap to higher stockers. Some items sit empty for months. And, we are paying for the theft at this store, they allow them to walk out so they raise the prices for the honest people to pay for it. The police that monitor the store said they could get sued for stopping a thief if they don't see them take it. There are cameras everywhere & they still can't control their store. I witnessed a 20 year old male exit the store by slipping through the entrance gate with a bulging backpack on his back. He almost ran me down when he had to veer around my cart to the exit door. While this was happening a Walmart associate was checking a receipt of another shopper trying to exit, he had his back to the view of the entire room. You check a receipt, face the entire room next time!!!!!

I got gas here earlier today. I paid $10 for gas. But they charged $15.12 frm my debit card

I will go to any other before here. The employees are typically good people, but the customers are too much. Almost every time someone is trying to fight. I've been blocked in and whoever was trying to start a fight. I just sat in my car until they moved on to someone else. Last time a girl kept walking back and fourth down the aisle I was in, just trying to knock into me. Just hateful people, that make it hard to run a good business. Sad

Beware of charges at this gas station. Today is Monday June 13th I was just at this Shell station at 6:34 pm and got $66.03 gasoline (now it did not give me a receipt as it was supposed to do) and it charged my credit card $110.03.

My starter died while I was filling up before heading to work, so I had someone pick me up to take me to work. When I called later that night to ask if I could leave it overnight, the person working said they were going to tow it. So I took an Uber to recover my car and look for a tow truck company that was open all night. While I was sitting in my car, trying to find a tow truck, the employee at the shell came to my window and told me that they would tow my car with me in it. Luckily I found we found a tow truck company to take my car back to my house.

I was treated poorly, all because my car wouldn’t start, all because I stopped at the wrong gas station. If you want to be treated well, please go to ANY OTHER GAS STATION IN TOWN!

This store is straight up in the hood no lie people. But the one thing g I can say is that there r sum good people that work un in there tho. Ive  seen them cum and I've seen them go.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

The kid working at this location was nice, but it took several attempts to get him out from the back. We ordered seven apples to serve as dessert at my dinner party. Four of those apples were rotten to the core and had to be thrown out. Unfortunately, no one wanted to try the other three. What a waste of money. DO NOT buy apples from here.

Bought caramel apples today with little to no caramel on them. I won’t be back to this location.  Definitely not worth the money.

Walked out after 20 minutes of waiting and only two customers ahead of us served.  With four people ahead of us, why bother.  This isn't the first horrible experience here, they need their franchise revoked.

Wasn't too good. Customer service was great but the things we got didn't taste fresh.  The pistachio ice cream according to my hubby was too strong tasting. The apples are like 10.00 a piece but that's if it's loaded with toppings.
We went to the Zona Rosa location awhile back and we didn't care for it either. Oh well. Not going back. Was looking for some fudge but don't have it.

Out of chocolate covered strawberries at 2pm with no intentions of making more for the day, 2nd time I’ve came and had a bad experience kinda over trying.

Teriyaki Madness

Honestly such a cool place, the atmosphere along with the people working made my experience amazing. Food came out fast and was friendly delivered with a variety of sauces and opinions on them. I live about 45 minutes away from the place and may have to take a few drives back to visits. 10/10 must go visit!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our lunch here. The food was good, fast, and hot. At almost $15/bowl it was a bit pricier than I anticipated, so it will have to be more of a treat than a regular outing.

We had an order of chicken, one of spicy chicken, and an order of pot stickers. Everything was good, and definitely will be back!

Very disappointed with my first visit. Since eating at Teriyaki Madness I have been experiencing food poisoning symptoms. My chicken appeared to be undercooked and I could barely eat it.

Been coming here fewer and fewer these days. Service seems to be going down hill. Food quality also going down hill as well. Standard are going down too. Dried out chicken, hair in my meal. They stopped caring and it shows in the service. Employees talking loudly and inappropriately. Think this will be the last time my family and I visit this place.

Food is decent as long as you don't order the Katsu. I can't stress enough that you do not order the Katsu. The price per bowl on the food is fair, but the amount of protein you get with the Katsu (when I ordered it) is laughable. I essentially paid $11 for a cup and a half of rice and a half cup of steamed vegetables.

When it came to the actual chicken teriyaki, it was good and the portions on both the junior and regular sizes were fair. Stick to the core experience and you'll do fine.

Service was attentive and polite. The atmosphere inside was nice while I waited to take the food home.

I ordered a large Papa's Favorite. It had very little tomato sauce but it was topped with alot of ingredients. The girl working there was not friendly at all. I had to start a little small talk. I also think they should have take out menus. I asked the girl and she said they didn't have them. I've always bragged about how good Papa Murphy's pizzas are to other people and to give em a try because the pizza is made fresh to take home and bake but I don't think I'm going to compliment this company anymore. IF I was to try them again I'll go to the one on 72nd and north oak. They've always been good.

The adult male who is working today was rude and disrespectful to me and a customer he talked to on the phone. Since when is it okay to talk badly about customers when they're standing right there? He needs to find a job that doesn't make him so unhappy. The young girl who was working was polite and kind.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars. I ordered a family size pizza and a few mini murphs, I didn't pay attention while I was in the store, but when I got home my wife noticed I brought home a large. I was charged for a family size. Not the end of the world, but I did have to go grab a small frozen pizza to feed everyone. .

Great pizza, great vaule! Service was outstanding

This place has really gone downhill.  The last 2 times we ordered pizza there was basically NO sauce on it - maybe a tablespoon for a large 14" pizza.  This time our pizza was missing the onions as well as virtually NO sauce.  IF we ever order from here again (unlikey) we won't order ahead, instead we will stand there and oversee the person making the pizza to make sure they don't skimp or leave off toppings.  NOT a happy customer!

The Big Biscuit

This is my go-to spot for Cinnamon Rolls pancakes. Two plate sized pancakes that feel impossible to finish every time. Im not an egg eater, so I always get double potatoes, 1 sausage, and 1 bacon. They serve crispy bacon with a nice crunch when you bite it. Food taste great, sevice is great, and the overall atmosphere is top tier.

4 stars for the food because my biscuit was really dry but loved the rest of the food. The strawberries still had chopped strawberry leaves on it. The service was friendly and accommodating. We came in 10 minutes before they closed and they still seated us and served us. Love the atmosphere with all the old Liberty photos displayed everywhere.

Very good food, nice selection of items on the menu. Order took over 30 minutes on a Saturday early afternoon. Very busy place but very friendly service!

This is one of the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. The so called steak was dry as beef jerky . The omelet doesn’t come filled . I had to take out. 10 year old MRE to eat . Call back they hangup . 160. Order isn’t much but the fact of the food looking like this .

Came here on a Saturday around lunch time. Wasn’t crowded at all. No wait. I was kind of surprised. But I love this place. The portions are HUGE. The menu is also huge. So so so many choices. All the brunch you can imagine. And a variety of bottomless drinks☕️. If you get the biscuit 🍞 as your side, it is BIGGGG!!! Lol. The food tasted amazing as well. I had the Del Rio omelette. It had a tiny bit of spice to it. 👌Their famous Bonut is sooo good too!!! Lots of leftovers. Place is very filling. Service is good. People are nice. Yum yum 🤤.

Providence Pizza Grandview

Some of the best pizza in KC. They have NY style and Detroit style. Whole pizzas, pizza by the slice or calzones. Excellent sauce and crust, wood fried ovens, and fast service

We really liked the pizza, will be a go to spot for us for pizza. We had a pizza to our own request and they did great.

Update 5 17 23, we had slices and a side salad for lunch. It's a generous slice from a large pizza of which they had a good selection.

Sometimes reheated pizza slices are better especially if you're a fan of thin or medium crust. It was great today.

You usually don't have a 500+ degree pizza oven at home either.

Recommended.

1st time here per a recommendation and it’s worth the drive! I live in Florida and am here for a few months; this is we’ll be my new go to pizza spot! So many options to try. Bring a friend or family as the serving sizes are massive.

Loved the Frankie’s Fingers Detroit pizza. Hot chicken, ranch, and pickles. So good. Best part is the crispy cheese on the crust.

This was my first visit to Providence, I came for lunch and I was pleased to see that they have lunch specials. I got the two slice and soda combo for $10. The pizzas were a New York style pepperoni and a Detroit style pepperoni. The Detroit style was thick and crispy with a hint of sweetness to it. I actually enjoyed it and it reminded me of late nights at Joe's Pizza in Westport with the honey drizzle. The pepperoni for the Detroit style was thick cut and nicely charred.
