Let me just say that this was probably one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been too on my birthday. Starting with the octopus (Oktapadi)and lamb (Arnisia  Plevrakia)appetizers, I was already in love. And when I finally got my main course with
Lamb chops and fries(Arnisia Paidakia), I was in heaven. I don't even like fries and we ate them all! My wife had the Halibut and it was also perfect with crunchy skin. The chefs were cool enough to make us our own little "Spicy" sauce that we used on everything. I hope they remember it for next time! I had no idea what the Olive Oil Cake would be like but I am SO glad I tried that, im pretty sure I'm addicted now. Plus Ryan, our server, who was such an awesome guy and took really good care of us, brought me a little surprise ice cream for my birthday. I almost forgot my wife tried the Med and Persephone's Dream which she loved and I had a virgin Greek Mojito. I could not have been happier. So many new and delightful tastes, I seriously cannot wait to go back!

Had the ambrosia cocktail and expresso martini.  Both delicious.  The grilled octopus and Greek salad were perfect.  The halibut was uneventful and bland.  The roasted chicken was good and the steak was pretty good too. Overall, very nice place.  Need to rethink the fish options next time.

I absolutely loved this place! I'm always happy when I find fantastic food in the Midwest. The cocktails were unique and very good. The grilled vegetable platter had some extra magic and tasted better than any grilled veggies I've made, or had at any other restaurant. The lamb shank was delicious as one would expect. The whole snapper, Fagri, was tender and flavorful. We ended the meal with the best baklava I've ever tasted. We've never tried olive oil cake, so we had to add that to the evening. This was great and the presentation was amazing.

Our first time at Paros was magical! Julia gave us insights into the extensive and impressive Mediterranean menu, which includes flavorful entrees from land and sea, as well as handcrafted desserts. We enjoyed every minute and every morsel in this gorgeous space.

* Food: The food and appetizers were mediocre in my opinion. I ordered the saganki as my appetizer and personally I didn’t like it the cheese it  was quite bitter for my taste. For my entree I ordered the Pastitsio and it looked very delicious, but I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. It had a strong nutmeg taste to it which I didn’t find appealing. I would recommend the Mykonos breeze for the cocktail. It was delicious and sweet.

* Place/ Atmosphere: The restaurant is beautiful and well designed. It feels like you’re in a high end restaurant in Greece.

* Service: Our waitress was very kind and well educated on the menu. She did a great job taking care of my friends and I.

Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

I love, love, love this Papa Murphy's location. They know I'm a regular. They're cordial. They're fast and friendly. My daughter doesn't like any other pizza. Tryst me. I've tried almost every pizza place in the city

I order from this location every couple months or so. NEVER had a bad experience.  Everyone always seems friendly and kind.  Today I ordered a pizza online at 11:30AM for a 3:30PM pickup.  I had an emergency A/C issue at home and had to be here for the technician.  I called the store at 3:15PM and said I'd be an hour late and if they could keep the pizza in a cooler rather than the speed rack where to-go orders are ready for pickup are kept.  As small a request as that was I appreciated the kindness on the phone and when I went to pick up the order... an additional 30 mins later than expected.  Your employees are great!!   Thank you Papa Murphy's!

Super nice staff and very fresh ingredients on the pizza. Papa's Favorite or the Murphy Combo are very good pizzas to choose from as well. State Line Store Rocks !!!

Def not open when thay say they are. Ride when asked about it.  Just pay the $ and get Marcos or something

I don’t get pizza that often so I splurged and got a half Hawaiian half cowboy tonight to treat myself. It was absolutely delicious. My only comment is that on the Hawaiian half you could not taste the pineapple. I think you better invest in a little bit better pineapple. It had zero flavor.👍🏼

Flavor was good! Fresh ingredients! Unfortunately I asked for my sauces on the side, and then got none of the ingredients after that. Missing items included the extra seaweed salad and avocado that I paid extra for. Boba was a bit old tasting. Missing ingredients on my bowl: Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Pickled Ginger, Green Onion, Red Cabbage, Sesame Seeds, Crispy Onion, Chili Pepper, Extra Seaweed Salad. Made for a pretty bland bowl. Spent $70 on 3 bowls and a spicy crab salad. 10/26/23 Really sad about the missing seaweed salad. 😭

I got Hawaiian sunset signature bowl with zucchini noodle. I like the combination of texture and taste: chewy veggie and soft protein, sour and sweet and hinted spicy. Given everything is fresh, a bit pricey is reasonable, I guess.

I got this delivered via UberEats and it was phenomenal. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful and filling. Great veg options.

The Rain on Fire bowl is delicious. I was initially concerned with the heat level given the *generous* amount of jalapeno and sriracha together, but the peppers were mostly seedless (thankfully). The other ingredients really cut the heat and balance the flavor. Great taste overall.

Well I seen an ad on Facebook about this place. I love trying new places and was curious. My husband and I went, and we were not disappointed. This place is amazing! The food is amazing, fresh and quite fulfilling.
Seriously try it out you will not be mad.

Nick The Greek

Dropped in for a lunch before running errands and it's pretty good.

The service was friendly and efficient and the location is nice and clean.

I ordered the beef/lamb gyro with regular fries and drink combo.  The gyro was packed full of gyro meat and pretty filling even before I could get to the fries.  The fries are seasoned well (either with oregano or marjoram) and salt, and it's a pretty generous serving.  Definitely leaving here full and satisfied with a baggie of leftovers.

It's not my #1 pick for Greek/Mediterranean cuisine in the metro but it's a very solid choice and leaps and bounds better than everything else available at Ward Parkway.

The gyros we tried were delicious, we got the lamb/beef one and the pork belly gyro and both were huge and full of meat. I loved how fresh everything tasted, it was a bit pricey coming at $16 per gyro with drink but you could easily make it into 2 meals if you wanted to. Make sure to opt for the feta fries instead of regular because it adds the right amount of zing to the bite.

Drink selections were limited but we and I tried their baklava frozen yogurt and oh my it was delicious. It was definitely more yoghurty than full on cream but it was refreshing on a hot day and the baklava with the honey syrup made it very decadent. We did end up spending $50 for 2 people but I was full for the rest of the day cos the portion sizes are huge.

Ever since Pita Blu closed, I've been hurting for a quality plate of Greek food. We stopped by this new spot on a rainy weekend afternoon and decided to try a variety from the menu.

The falafel plate had highs and lows. Unfortunately, among the lows were the falafel. Tiny portions that meant they were near burnt on the outside and dry beyond the pale inside. Well seasoned, but rough texture. The supporting elements were great, and did some heavy lifting for the weak falafel. Fresh pita, flavorful veggies, well seasoned tzatziki. This dish has the normal fries. They had a well balanced mix of salt and oregano and were perfectly cooked.

The gyro was packed to bursting with quality ingredients. Properly prepared sliced meat, lots of the same fresh veg as the falafel plate. We tried the Greek fries for this order. In my opinion, these are doing too much. In addition to the seasoning on the normal fries they add feta, garlic, and green onion. The onion is especially egregious and ruined the entire side. It's all you can taste. If they held back the garlic and onion, kept the feta, and added some lemon or vinegar they would be excellent.

The loukoumades are like those donuts you can find at Chinese buffets. However, they are less falvorful than that. Even with the drizzle of honey and the sprinkle of nuts, they didn't stand out among of the other strongly seasoned food. It is a shame because they are made fresh and looked great.

The baklava is some of the best I've ever had. I don't know if they make it in house or ship it in frozen, but whatever they are doing it works. Baklava is near the bottom of my list of preferred desserts at any other place. I'd get it here every time. Richly sweet without letting that sweetness overwhelm the fattiness from the pastry and nuts. Really solid contender in the dessert roster for the area.

I look forward to trying items from their menu. They aren't quite at the level Pita Blu hit, but they're the best we have in the area.

food was ok service was ok. when asking about choice person waiting on us, didn't know and didn't ask. hummus was super thick an pastey. salad dressing was soso. dont know how i feel about french fries in my gyro. they were cold an had no seasoning on them. guess its their gimmick.  I think fry that are hot an seasoned well with your hummus might be a better gimmick.  the lamb gyro meat was good an the pork belly gyro meat was good. For the $ not not impressed. need a small display of they deserts baklava on a menu pic doesn't look appealing.

I am so glad they added this place! The food, service, atmosphere, everything was great!

The other restaurants I always had to go to because there were no other options but this one I plan to visit again. There was live music outside as well. Fun vibe.

The dessert was amazing.

I strongly urge everyone to step into this space and discover one of the best Middle Eastern food places in Kansas.  Their Baba Ganoush is better than the one I had all over the Middle East.  No fan fare. Simple and clean and incredibly tasty.

Had Jiros, 2-$20!! Not happy w/that. Shoulda been half that.

Tried to use the pumps, none of them worked for more than $0.04 of gas.

My wife attempted to phone in an order. Our family have tomatoes allergies, so we order Olive Oil and Garlic sauce. The male employee 1st acted like he did not know what she was talking about.  He then told her that sauce was only put on certain specialty pizzas.  I then said we order the olive oil and garlic sauce on our pizza all the time and we don't order the specialty pizzas.  He then told my wife we could order the sauce on the pizza. He read off the order and stated olive oil and chopped garlic.  She attempted to ask him about the chopped portion an hehung up on her, without obtaining her information and/or completing the order.
He demonstrated a lack of patience and did not provide good customer service.

Tried to phone in an order. My Family is allergic to tomatoes.  So I attempted to ask for Olive Oil and Garlic sauce.  The man who answered first acted like he did not know what I was talking about.  Then he said that sauce only goes on certain pizzas.  My husband was in the back ground and heard the conversation.  He told the man we order the sauce on pizzas all the time.  He then said yes you can get the sauce on any pizza. He then talked about chopped Garlic and I attempted to clarify it. My husband then said it's probably just a difference in terminology.  I was going to complete our order and the man hung up on me, without getting my name or phone number, (closing out the order).

It really is unfortunate because my family and I just love Papa Murphy's, and the location I'm reviewing is the closest to where I live plus I think it's one of the oldest ones in the area. The food is always good that's never the problem the problem comes more with staff that makes you feel like your burdening them to make an order. I Unknowledgeable about the items they serve and sell! If you don't like working with the public then this is not the right place!

I’ve had generally good experiences here, and have been using this location since they opened, some 10 years ago. The food is always good, and the amount of time spent waiting is usually minimal.

The store is always kept very clean and neat, and the side items are typically well-stocked.

They seem to have gotten a little slow recently, but that could easily be just a one-off. I’ll certainly continue coming here.

Let's see where do I begin?  First off I ordered online ahead of me getting there to save on time.  I was early so i went to target across the parking lot. Came across the street at the time it should have been done.  Upon arriving there was one lady ahead of me whom they helped immediately. Me, not so much. I told the man my order and he told me they hadn't even started it yet. Which was irritating but not upsetting seeing how i chose to pay in store. I can understand them not wanting to waste product in case i didn't show.  By this time the store is empty. I'm the only person there with two workers. My order wasn't complicated even for a child. Just two pizzas and a salad. I should've been out in 5-10 mins tops but no i was in there for 30-45 before my order was finished.  It took so long i had to ask what was going on.  The guy instructed me he needed to put toppings on my salad. Mind you I was the only customer in there for about 10-15 mins.  Like seriously how long does it take to throw some toppings on a pizza and salad ESPECIALLY ONE YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO COOK!!  The other pizza chains can why can't papa Murphy's?  Included are pictures of my salad. They just threw the trash pieces in there smh. Do better!!

Tasso's Greek Restaurant

My daughter chose to go here for her 18th birthday- they made it so special! She got a sparkler candle, a special plate with the year on it and one to break! The food was to die for and the service was amazing. This was the second time we have been there and I’ve never been disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious!! We will be back!

Tasso's Greek Restaurant is an amazing experience.   The food was delicious and excellent service.  If you are in Kansas City, Missouri I highly recommend stopping by Tasso's.

A great little Greek place. Their food is authentic and very good. It's very traditional looking inside. Dimly lit and comfortable. If you've never seen the owners, you will by looking at any of the 5000 pictures on the wall. The host was great. Attentive, yet gave us space. The lamb wasn't as tender, but we also showed up as soon as the doors opened, so I wouldn't expect that to be the norm. The serving sizes were great and the kids' choice was still authentic! Thank You for that! Overall good experience and will definitely come by again.

Took a trip to KC for the weekend and was excited to try Tasso's. Sorry to say that it was a disappointment.  The food and atmosphere were good but the poor service was bad enough to make the other two not matter. They forgot that they sat us and we waited forever to have our drink orders taken, which they comped an appetizer for the inconvenience, so that was decent.  Then came the bill. They refused to honor the Groupon I had because they couldn't figure out how to redeem it. Not sure how that's my problem, but apparently it is since the manager pretty much said too bad. It's a neat little restaurant but I refuse to support businesses that don't value their customers. I suggest passing it on by on your way through KC

I paid cash, Removed the nozzle to insert into my car. When I turn back to the gas pump, it was reading .05 cents –hadn't even selected my gas option yet. But i pushed it, think it would reset but that was not the case. The clerk was understanding and informed the supervisor –who got defensive and kinda rude about the issue. My goal was making them aware of the problem, not trying to get money back or anything.

Beware you're NOT getting ALL your money's worth.

Store is clean, Staff has always been friendly to me.  With the parking lot well and no one loitering in front of store it makes you feel safe to stop for gas in the middle of the night.  Thank you!

Dont shop here. They open there stores in our neighborhood and be rude and you cant even use the restroom. I'm a delivery driver the gas up told me to go here but they said it was out of order. I had to ask is it out of order or is it a good thing. He couldn't even give me eye contact. That's why I get gas at Quick trip. I will go out of my way for good customer service. Stop spending your money with foreigners who dont care about you. 🤔🤔🤬🤬

While the looming effects(price gouging) of this brutal war impact us all; never expected an American convenience store to eject a customer and reject thier cash over his freedom to peacefully express dissent over Putin"s immoral war. I honestly think this is the best inner-city Shell gas station. They have such a wide selection of product, it's amazing! I recommend this Shell, over all other Shell's, to anyone who wants to feel at home. I swear you walk right into a grocery store when you come in here. And, by the doors, they have their casino area. Not to mention, they have a change counting machine.

DEFINITELY PRICE GAUGING‼️ RUDE AS HELL, AND NOT INTIMIDATING AT ALL. SOMETHING/ SOMEONE GOING TO HURT ONE OF THOSE WORKERS. THEY CAUSE A LOT OF FRUSTRATION FOR THE PEOPLE IN THAT AREA, PATRONS...SMH

I can to the store to get my daughter some beverages. The total came to $20.43 and I wanted to go through the prices of the items. Asked the man how much everything was, he was telling me very fast. I asked him again telling me very fast, trying to calculate the total, he then told me very rudely that he does not have time to go through the prices with me and if I do not like it we can do a refund after I purchase the items. I do not want to that especially first and a person who works in customer service I would never tell a customer that be rude to them then make them go through a refund process after they make the payments improper way to do it, you never do that or say anything like that to a customer. Poor customer service.

They allow a bunch of homeless people to hang out front and badger you as you come in.  I'm not on a high horse here.  That just could be intimidating / a safety hazard for some.

They also do the dumbest thing I've ever seen.  I went inside to pay for my gas to avoid the ridiculous holds gas stations put on your card for paying outside. This place literally charges you a fee to use your debit, credit card.  Any kind of card.  Like whatever dude.  It's 2022.  Everyone uses cards.  That's just cheap of them.  Would not recommend this place

I went into the station today 11/07/2022 to get gas they tried to put tax on a gas purchase of $10.00 which the guy told me that my total was $10.36 which is said I don't have any candy he said it was tax which all I was getting was GAS . Taxes is all ready applied so why where they adding taxes to a GAS purchase ONLY? Watch out when going to this gas station. That why I ONLY go to Q-TRIP I trust their gas ( that why i was only putting in $10.00 wroth because that gas is water).
