School of Rock

As a fellow business owner in Doylestown, I fully appreciate what School of Rock is doing for our community and their dedication and passion for teaching kids not only the fundamentals of music, but also the skill of performing. Over the years, I’ve witnessed or attended countless shows and performances they’ve been a part of or have put on and have seen a lot of these kids grow as musicians and I can’t wait to see where what they learned from School of Rock takes them. In addition to all that, they’ve also hosted some amazing workshops where their students were able to learn from and perform with internationally known artists - most recently Anthony Green (pictured), Sean Yseult of White Zombie, and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God.

My kids love School of Rock in Doylestown!  My daughter has played drums for the past four years and her love for the learning style inspired my son to join and play the guitar!  Since then both kids have had the opportunity to learn multiple instruments, perform in shows and learn about being a musician and all the factors that impact performance and love of music.
Great environment, teachers and communication!  The outcome, the shows are amazing, and fun to watch and be a part of.  Great experience!

School of Rock has been a game changer for my kid. Excellent staff who is extremely supportive of all students and are excellent at keeping students engaged and challenged. Inclusive and welcoming environment.

School of Rock is a great music school for kids. The downtown team is so friendly and good with the kids. The kids in the program get to learn how to play their 1 or more rock instruments in a more practical setting, playing songs that are relevant to kids...not classical which has its place but is a turn off for most kids. The best part is they get to experience live performance with the other kids. The get to feel what it's like to be on stage playing like a rock star. This has been great for my daughter's confidence.  She's been at it for 3+ years ow and still loves it.

The teachers are great with students! Espically love Fiona! They have a great way of connecting, and putting my shy child at ease. Very easy going, great communication, patient, kind, knowledgeable, makes learning fun!
Rock 101 is a fantastic program as well! My child loves going to play as a band with other kids! He thinks he is a rock star! It’s a great program, that emphasizes fun, collaborating, a love of music, along with learning.During rock 101 kids,and teacher work together, they all learn something new each class. The school of rock is very much geared towards kids, everyone is very encouraging, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and loves music and children. This is a great place for kids to come and learn to play an instrument, while also learning about music in a very fun non traditional way. Also the music (School of Rock after all)is more fun for adults and kids alike!!!

I first got lessons here back in October 2022 and it was great because I hit it off with my teacher very well, however, the overwhelming stress of college and my own personal mental problems prevented my ability to focus on my lessons. I ended my lessons through a very rude email, which school of rock didn’t deserve, and focused on myself for a few months. When I decided to come back, they welcomed me with open arms and no grudges, which I am grateful for. I am currently enrolled in their adult band program and take lessons too. I also asked Cecile to change my teacher, who I didn’t really learn well from, to which she completely understood and allowed the swap to happen.

In conclusion, the staff is very understanding, empathetic, and courteous to the customer. I was really afraid to come back because I struggle with anger, and know that I possibly burned a bridge with them, but it means a lot to know that they understand music is my passion, and I just want to do what makes me happy in life

Great experience overall! The design allows kids to progress at their own pace and try out multiple instruments. Getting to work with other kids toward an actual concert was inspiring. And the music is learned by ear, which is so common in gig music.

My son has been enjoying School of Rock for several years.  He loves the variety of programs and the performance opportunities. His playing - guitar, bass, and drums - has really grown.

Philly School of Rock ROCKS !  Our son has been at SOR for five years and his experience has been awesome.  The staff there provide an amazing and welcoming community to learn in.  They inspire their students.  They put their heart and soul into what they do and it shows.  Our son started with the guitar, and it is now his passion.  With the encouragement of his teachers, he has also played the bass and keyboards.  Love, love Philly School of Rock !!

Cecile and Bennett have been so great to me and my son! My son has learned so much while having fun, and their ability to be flexible with our schedule has been key. I highly recommend!

Walmart Supercenter

We shop there about once every 3 weeks as their groceries are more affordable than other supermarkets. But sometimes price is not everything. This package of pretzel rolls was bought on 8/8/23 and opened to use on 8/10/23. Notice the mold and the use by date in the photo 🤬

Store is clean and neat but associates are either lazy or need to get to know the store. I asked 3 associates for help neither knew where to find what needed. I asked 1 associate if they had a maternity dept and they didn't know . So I left and got my items at another store. 🙃

I only went in to use the restroom, but the store was clean and appeared to be well staffed and well stocked. The restroom at the front only has one stall. Overall, no issues with this visit or store. It was fairly early in the morning, as well.

There was a lot of people there but all of them were nice and the employees that I encountered were helpful and friendly so no complaints

I LOVE this Walmart! The store is updated and upscale! Plenty of parking. Self check out is everywhere. If you need it??? THEY HAVE IT. Staff is kind and helpful. A great shopping experience:-)

Our son has been at Newtown SOR for six years now and we couldn’t be happier.  The talented staff obviously share a passion for music  which translates to the students development.  They continue to provide opportunities for our son to play live and grow as a musician.  We highly recommend this school!!

My 14 yr old is in her 4th year with SoR Newtown. The teachers and staff are like family and watching the kids make lifelong connections with other students is fantastic. The range of genre experiences, shows and the house band offer so many opportunities to expand knowledge and truly be not just a solo performer, but learn the dynamics of group performance. My daughter is a singer and her skills grow each year. All the teachers are also actively performing so there’s a lot life experience in their lessons. I wish we had SoR when I was young!

School of Rock has exceeded my expectations in every way and is an amazing program. Not only do they teach your child how to play an instrument, but they also teach them how to perform and play with other musicians. My son plays the keys and it's just been the best experience. There is no such thing as a boring music lesson there! The shows are amazing too and we look forward to going each quarter. School of Rock is worth every single penny.

My kids love school of rock! Great instructors, great place!

Both of my boys have had excellent experiences at Orlando School of Rock. Wes and the team work hard to run a great program and did a great job matching our kids to the right instructors for them. They participated in everything from the week-long summer day camps, to show season programs, to house band. The staff encourages all kids to stretch and try new things to fully explore and grow their musical ability. In particular, putting on and performing shows at real venues throughout Orlando gives kids a "real world" band experience that can't be duplicated in other private lesson programs. Our time at School of Rock has helped to round our kids out as musicians and also helped strengthen their love of music and embrace it as a viable career option.

School of Rock was a big change in my Son's life. Daniel (16) was in treatment of depression and once he started his Bass lessons with the teacher Colton Stone, he gets better and better every day. Wess the owner is a fantastic person and gaves to Daniel all support he needed.. Thank you so much School of Rock, you are the Best !

My son spent a month at the academy and it was one of the worst experiences we could have. My son attended classes on Wednesdays and on Saturdays. On Saturdays they rehearsed for the band. the last two weeks the teacher "Nick" did not want to teach him because he would not continue and he told my son who is only 16 years old that he was not wasting his time with him if he was not going to continue. If I pay for a whole month of classes, I have the right to demand all the classes during that month. Stay away if you don’t want to waste your time and money.

I was a student at this school. Absolutely horrible school the service is terrible, specifically the band director Nick is awful he doesn’t how to talk to students. For example, because I wasn’t going to continue on the band program he told me not to come back the next week that I had already paid for because I was wasting everyone’s time. I had already paid for the classes and had the right to participate. This is just unacceptable service. Don’t come here to waste your time and money

My nephew has been attending SoR for guitar lessons for about 6 months - in that time he has not only learned to play guitar and is slowly building the fundamentals of music, but being a part of this community has provided him an opportunity to practice better social, relational and team-work skills. This combination has helped build his confidence which shows in many areas of his life, not just when playing the guitar. I love that SoR instills in him the desire to learn and excel.

I like how my son is advancing in his instrument and how he gets to express his interest in music. The instructor will allow him to learn and play it. I like the feedback I receive after each lesson. I like that each classroom has cameras and there is also a camera and screen  in the waiting area so we can see our children

We love this School!  My son has been taking lessons and performing at this school since it opened and it has changed his life!  He has gained confidence, received excellent instruction, and has a deeper understanding of what it is to be a part of a team (band, in this case). He has been afforded opportunities to perform far beyond the typical "recital" atmosphere which has helped him to truly see himself as a real musician. From the incredible management to the awesome instructors School of Rock Oviedo is by far the best location for any child that has a love for music to blossom!

Our son has been attending School of Rock Oviedo for almost 2 years and he loves it! They are always flexible on scheduling lessons based on school and family commitments and their makeup policy is awesome. There are a variety of professional instructors that offer positive feedback while encouraging them to become better musicians.

Great music education, excellent performance program.  My children's musicianship has improved beyond expectations!

Walmart

A very big and very nice Walmart with a wide selection for f products for decent prices. I also love their selection of Delaware/Rehoboth Beach merchandise(hoodies/shirts/hats etc…). It was very easy to find the things that I needed, so I definitely will be back again in the future.

Always have everything I need in one place! Never run out of stuff unlike other stores I've shopped at. The lady who was working at the self checkout was the absolute best, she was so sweet and helpful. Love it when the employees are friendly and actually talk to customers and don't act like you're bothering them if you end up needing help with something! Keep up the wonderful work!!! Thanks so much!!!❤️

Great Easter spring sale going on there. 50% of now but will probably be reduced soon . There was one aisle left.  The store was clean. I did not find my gold vinyl paper that I wanted but I did leave with some Reese peanut butter eggs at 50% off. White and milk chocolate.

Its not very customer friendly when there is constant racial profiling occurring. This seems to be a theme for certain Walmarts. Within 2 stores that I have been profiled over 10 times. Whats worse is l, they always have new employees, so the ones who profiled you before are almost never there. If it was for the fact that are very few stores in the area, I would not go there. Ita bad to the point at one location, police have threatened to arrest the staff for false calls.

This Walmart a bit weird especially at the grocery section. It's quite small they don't carry like the regular half and half or large size heavy cream. They have very small selection of zero sugar beverages the staff quite friendly compare to other Walmart. Their pharmacy also quite limited. They support scan and go payment

Terrible for adult vocal lessons, for around 300 bucks you do weekly lessons and band rehearsal, despite the price tag my instructor was clearly not qualified and seemed unsure of herself, was also rude. Scolded me at the beginning of my paid lesson time, had me seeing red, yet unable to leave because I still had to do the lesson, which I was paying a lot of money for. They make you cancel a month in advance and when I did, rehearsal with the group band got awkward, one of the band members told me not to “feel pressured to show up anymore” which came across as don’t show up. anyways with regards to the band I came in at a time when all I was allowed to do was watch if I wanted to rehearse a song I would have to pay for another month and the song had to be one that they approved of. The worst part is I still live in the same town so I’ll see them around from time. I honestly wished I had never signed up to begin with. I had high hopes for school of rock and was left severely disappointed.

This place may seem incredible; however, I found out that the instructor entertains the kids with the new version of Hangman Game; the Astronaut Game, during my daughter's music class. I understand that children need a little break (however, this is not a school with study hours, this is a 30-minute class); however, I can't fully agree to play it for a while and not even for a whole class; this is unbelievable !!! Also, I was paying for a music class and not for babysitting. Well, I made my complaint, and this is what I got: "I should change my daughter to a different level because she is too mature for the class." On top of that, they also told me that she was lying about it. Very disappointed with this place.

My grandson Logan has been taking keyboard for about a year and voice for about 6 months. He loves it and loves learning. He wants to add electric guitar next.He loves preforming both his keys and singing on stage with his band members.

School of Rock in Vacaville is excellent!. The owner is very understanding and helpful!! My son's instructor is patient and kind. Everything about this place is awesome!!!

Best youth music program! Leslie and her staff are the best.

Liverpool

Place is in other it's just missing some personal.
There are very few fitting rooms also.
Would go shopping there again but could be improved.
Note: It's a great place to make last minute shopping for the holidays, variety in clothes/accessories is very good. Also I don't mention in the original review but the parking spot is right next to Liverpool's building.

Great location, great selection, great service.
If you buy slacks or other dressy items, they provide alterations for free.
The selection of goods is pretty good.

Overall quality department store, while often a little pricey, the large volume of quality products in a vibrant atmosphere with outstanding customer service makes Liverpool among the conistently niciest shopping experiences in Aguascalientes. Quality, upscale experience.

Laziest, rude, useless, grumpy employees.

The chain should seriously consider properly training them in customer service.
Having a good attitude never kills anyone.

Hopefully, everything is good in their employees' lives, something definitely should be going wrong to have that attitude.

When you purchase a phone (IPhone 11 256 Gb) that cost 21,000 pesos or approximately $932 US dollars, you expect the experience to be good, hopefully great, but this was more like going to an cheap grocery store with no customer service. The phone was purchased for my girlfriend, a first time iPhone owner, she wanted to return the phone immediately because they didn’t take the time to show her how it worked or even set up her Apple ID. . We had to contact Apple support to finally be able to download apps. Apple should take this franchise location away from the current owner’s. I will be buying a new SE shortly, but will not return EVER to any MacStore. Buy somewhere else! ¡No compres aquí! Horrible servicio, falta de atención al cliente.

Very helpful and fairly probably priced. I took my nephew there to get a new charger for his I pad and we got exactly what we needed.
