This is the place to go if you want friendly helpful people to work on your car. We needed some brake work done while traveling from northern WI to visit family in NC. It was late on Dec. 23 and even though they could have told us it was too late, they did everything they could to help my family and I get back on the road. This team went the extra mile to help us get back on the road so we could make it to our destination by Christmas Eve. We definitely lucked out when we found our way to this shop. They saved our holiday road trip and we couldn't be more thankful to them!

These folks care about their customers and their safety. This was my first visit to this shop and I can say, they now have a customer for life! I'm very happy with the service. As for the price, they are in the ballpark with everyone else but if you want the fix done right the first time, this place is the only place to go too! Midas in Lafayette has that small town quality in the city! I was very impressed with their customer service and the overall positive attitudes of everyone there. They were great Mark and Jerry( I hope that was his name) they were great my car was in and out they even let me know I had a headlight out and replaced it quick environment was great and everyone was friendly and in a great mood definitely will be back.. Pricing for my brakes and light was the best around town.

RNR Tire Express

After a week in the shop for wheel bearing, alignment and new tires, this is what my steering wheel looks like. Crooked as can be. No explanation. I'm not a mechanic, but I really excepted this to be straight. For $800.00+ I am a bit disappointed.

Update: 7/7/2023 We had a chance to get back to the shop. The new tires are now flat and completely worn to the wire. They were willing to let my daughter walk out with another $300 for two new tires and still not fix the problem. Thankfully, she called me.

When we originally took it in, they said it might need another $700 worth the parts. When I picked it up, they had not aligned it and left me with the impression it did not need the additional parts. Very disappointing. If I had known we would have spent the money then.

Now I'm screwed, another $700 and two more tires on top. They are ordering parts, we'll see what happens next week.

Your employees extremely customer-friendly to however I cannot lie my feelings were hurt. I've been so anxious to purchase the car just to come and give you business there and I tried to get my husband to come there and everything cuz I believe you guys are good company and you're worth everything so I was kind of devastated to get denied after the fact of me leaving my car and basically telling me that I was good to go all over my license being and Illinois still instead of Indiana which I was told it would have been okay or I wouldn't have wasted my time or the time where another person could have been there. I just didn't understand why that was the big ordeal when my registration my ID and I totally could have brought in a lease

Customer service was top notch! David at the front desk did an awesome job with welcoming me in and making sure my car was taken care of. Affordable and fair prices. I’ll be sure to be back with my other vehicles.

Dean and his Crew were terrific. The assessment of what i needed done on the car was accurate. Dean searched and found some discounts and rebates to reduce the cost of repairs. The work was done on time. New Tires, brakes and a few other things and I feel safe to drive the highways this winter. I highly recommend this shop and this Team.

100% recommend over any competitor. Walk in was quick and easy, got me in so quick, I went back to Apex to pull my car out as it had to sit for 2 hours to even get inspected before I can even know they can get it done and price! Other then Midas, he gave me an exact quote and told me he can give an 1.5 hours to get it done today while they had less then 3 hours of business left! Great guest service super friendly and also quick and easy notifications and call to let me know my car is ready to pick up. Highly recommend trying here first then anyway else.

Fast and friendly. Even better, I brought the car to them pretty certain of what the issue was. They didn’t magically find extra issues, as has happened at other places. Got us in right away and turn around time was fast. Stayed in touch and answered all questions. Price very fair.

This was the worst experience of my life. My check engine light came on so I decided to take it in for a diagnostic test on Monday 08/28/2023, the manager Dean Pearson told me it would be a 140.00 charge that would go on my bill if I decided to get the work done. I agreed, he calls me back stating I need a tune up and gives me a quote of almost 1300.00.  I explain I can't afford that, he then gives me a new quote of 1100.00. I agree, and he does the work... so I thought. I'm a truck driver so I rush back and pick up the vehicle on Tuesday 08/29/2023, I  make it down the street and my vehicle starts doing the same thing it was doing before I brought it in. I take it back the next day 08/30/2023 explaining the problem, never hearing from his that day. I call the next day Thursday 08/31/2023 he's not there and I was told I needed to pay another 140.00 for a diagnostic test because there was no record of one being done.  I asked how could work been done if a diagnostic test was never done, so make that make sense.  I had to get my vehicle towed which was another 257.00 because they refused to do the work, I'm out of 1100.00, wait let me be exact 1106.22. When I asked what the $6.22 was about, Dean asked me if I only order one chicken wing with a dinner. I was highly offended by that comment and it was very insulting.  His assistant took me to pick up my rental, he asked her to take his car but she said no. Then he tells me how she doesn't like getting in his car because of all the guns he has in it. He makes a statement that "guns aren't weapons they are tools". What does chicken and guns have to do with my vehicle getting serviced? Mass shooting are happening everywhere,  racist comments are not acceptable,  and this is just sad that he represents the Midas name.

Glass Doctor of Michigan City

Setup appointment to get windshield chips repaired before traveling it out town.  They took the booking and confirmed the appointment four times across two days then waited till the day before the appointment to call me at the end of the day and say they won't work on my car because it's a Tesla.  They said a new employee booked it but several different people called and confirmed.

By waiting so long they made it impossible for me to get an appointment somewhere else before my trip.

Would NOT recommended this company regardless of what vehicle you have.  They could have taken responsibility for their mistake but like most people now adays, they chose to break their commitment.  Bad business ethics...

Decent price for used glass, but that’s it. TERRIBLE customer service and work.
Had my window broken while at a hotel in Michigan city so had to find a place that could replace the window with it raining the whole week while I was working. I work 7 days a week so I dropped my car off while they were closed, they repaired the window but left most of the glass still in my door the repair man was like ya I couldn’t get it out so you have glass in there and the window doesn’t go down all the way unfortunately. I’m like why would you install it without making sure all the glass is cleaned out of it along with the window not closing all the way because it’s hitting the glass. He’s like you could take it off again if you want. I’m like what’s the point of getting here and paying you guys if I’m gonna have to do it myself. I then called the office to speak to a manager about the issue and it was brushed off and they wouldn’t even give me a refund or discount. Would not recommend this place

Our dog jumped on a window in our home when he saw his arch enemy walking by outside and broke the double pane glass!  Thank goodness he was not injured but then we were left with a huge hole in our window! Called a couple places for estimates but was really impressed with the gentlemen that came out for the estimate - knew the dimensions and the type of glass right away (still took accurate measurements).  Assured me that they could cut the glass and be out ASAP.  The next day they came out to install - good as new!  Highly recommend Glass Doctor (I used the Crown Point location) and will not hesitate to use them again in the future but I hope not for this type of situation! :)  Thanks team!

Good work, he would have got 5 stars but he was a hour late.

Glass Doctor is a great place for windshield replacement.  They did a perfect replacement for me and I was in and out of there in less then two hours.  Dependable and quality work.  You won't go wrong having them do your replacement.  I give them 5 stars for what they did for me.

Expert Auto Glass

We got a big rock chip in our windshield about 2 hours out of town so decided we needed it fixed the next morning. I called and asked about getting it fixed and she said bring it in and we’ll get right on it. Probably take 15 minutes. I parked and went into the office and told her I’d called. By the time I had paid the $35 to have it fixed the repair was already started. We were in and out in 15-20 minutes and fixed perfectly.
Thanks for a job well done.

My wife and I were moving across the country in December and our rear window just spontaneously shattered. Okay, so some more reading suggests a few plausibilities and maybe it wasn't totally spontaneous, but it was a drag to say the least. It was a Saturday, too, so we didn't have a lot of hope of finding help, but Josh stayed an hour late and waited for us, then expertly removed (and vacuumed!) all of the remaining broken glass, sealed the gaping hole with an impressively large roll of clear tape (I'm sure there's a technical name) and had us safely on our way again. What a great guy! We wish Josh and his family health and prosperity.

Best service ever! Not only did he get the job done for me, but he explained and showed me everything in detail and with incredible knowledge about what went wrong and why, but also how to fix it. And on top of that, he was very friendly. Definitely my new go-to auto glass guy!

Fast turn around. Found damage on my vehicle after the windshield was installed. All the owners daughter said was "what do you want $50?" There is damage to my A-pillar, dash, and gouges on my roof. Totally unprofessional will not go there nor recommend.

They replaced my windshield and tinted all the windows the same day and it turned out amazing. I had to leave town before it was complete and they delivered my truck to me. Amazing customer service

I'm very pleased with my experience at RNR Tire Express. Helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and the deal was straightforward unlike the competition that I visited. 120 days same as cash and truly with no credit check is a great deal for anyone with the cost of everything nowadays. My rims are just what I wanted, the tires are better than I wanted, and the extras are actually useful. I'll be back for life.

Imma preface this by saying the inside sales crew were fine and didn't do anything wrong. This also happened a year ago.

So I got a set of tires from here and on the way home the driver side went flat. Took the tire off took it back up there the next day.
After I got a new one, the same thing happened on the highway. I ended up asking the technician who replaced it both times if the valve stems were replaced. He told me "yes I did them."
After it going flat a 3rd time while driving I had the car towed up there and was pretty livid. Just to find out from another technician that the valve stems were NOT replaced and that it was the reason I was loosing air.
So not only did they skip out on replacing everything they were supposed to, their technician lied about replacing it Which actively puts people in danger on the road.
I wish I could give y'all a better score because everyone inside was nice, but at the end of the day, your shop put my life in danger multiple times and lied when confronted.

Taylor and her team of tire pros made this experience the easiest and best ever.  She is so knowledgeable and the chemistry with her team was phenomenal!  Highly recommend RNR for all your tire needs!  Love these guys!

Came to RNR for two tires and needed to finance them. The sales person Taylor made the whole process effortless. I had worries and concerns about financing and she was able to answer all my questions to set my mind at ease. The manager, Curtis Musick,  had to order tires for my van which put me in a panic cause I use my van to work, Curtis loaned me tires till mine could come in. They are always great to work with and do an amazing job, whether replacement of your windshield or rock chip repair. They also did an excellent job replacing the screen on our screen door.

I had a window on my motorhome break during a storm. They quickly set up an appointment to measure the window and within 3 weeks they had it and installed quickly. Very nice people and good service. I would recommend Tri-County for your glass needs.

We take all of our work trucks here . They are fast, courteous and easy to work with. We have never had a problem with them. A gal in our office wants us to use a mobile repair service and I refuse to do so because Tri-County Glass is local and do great work and they easily work with our insurance.
