Middle Way Cafe

Middle away Cafe is fantastic. In terms of quality and quantity, you get what you pay for and more! In my experience, the food has always been better in-house than to-go order. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food ingredients and the pleasant feeling it leaves on the stomach post gorge. Enjoy!

Got the Baja bowl. I have celiac and a dairy allergy. I chose it because it sounded okay and I wouldn't have to fuss with substitutions. Well, it was so so good. Really delicious.
I also got a ginger berry smoothie.
I will get both again. So good. And really kind and helpful, cheerful staff as well. Great experience.

Friendly, self-serve water, and pastry options. BLT was solid, but the soup of the day can be a hit or miss. After eating, I could feel my stomach become healthy and happy. Pastries were also quite nice. Vegetarian options available. Would recommend!

Some grab n go items available if you're in a rush. I got the Avocado spring rolls - they were incredibly fresh and even came with 2  sauces so you have plenty of sauce for each spring roll.
I also tried the vegan Ruben - loved how crunchy every bite was. The taste was really good, I wish it had a bit more sauerkraut but that's just a personal preference thing.

There's tons of places to sit, I was surprised to see how far back the cafe actually goes. And there's a back deck for sunny day dining as well.  It was quite loud inside but the tables in the back were a tad more quiet. Overall I loved it and am so excited to go back and try more good food!

They have several vegan options! Every vegan dish I have tried so far has been delicious and filling. They also have vegan cupcakes and other treats. I’ve tried the cupcakes (which are also gluten free) and they are so good!

Shell Factory

The shells are way overpriced, which would have garnered a three-star review, if it wasn't for the warm, charming, and personable raconteur who works there. Tons of tips and stories about island life, and a bubbly, delightful conversationalist. I ended up buying a rare shell and some baubles just due to the fact that this shop assistant was just so wonderful and not pressuring in any way.

Thank you so much for making us feel like a part of island life, Auntie!

My Sister wanted a particular type of shell. I looked in all the gift shops for it, even the ABC store and no one had these shells. Luckily I saw a sign for this store and I found it! The have all different types of shells, jewelry and wood carvings. Very nice little shop.

Wonderful selection! The lady who works there is very very pleasant and nice. She is knowledgeable and helped us out a lot! We are glad to have gotten some souvenirs from here! Love love love the shells and her service!

My wife and I love the Shell Factory. The service from the owner Todd was EXCELLENT! My wife and I were looking for Koa rings for our wedding and Todd helped us pick out the perfect ones. We also wanted a conch shell to be blown at our wedding and he picked out the best one. He also gave a demonstration of how to use it correctly so it would sound amazing. We asked Todd if he could come to our wedding ceremony to blow the conch and he did!! Thank you Todd for being there! What a memorable experience!! There are so many wonderful arts and jewelry to choose from. Our favorites are the wooden puzzle jewelry boxes made by a local artist. Very beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful shop with very helpful & friendly staff. We met one woman with dark hair (forgot to get her name) who was very knowledgable and kind to us. Great place to give business to!

Haiku La crepería

Crepe: not bad
Service:Lack of polite manners.

As I have understood so far, they are not really experts in making crepes, so with this thought in my mind, the crepe was decent.
The dough very thin and like sponge but ok.

Regarding the service: I entered the shop and the man was exactly in front of me making something in the kitchen. I said two times good morning and he just never answered back to me.
Later on I saw that this happened with another client (the place is small and I was sitting close to them).The woman greeted the man and he didn't. Only after he finished he asked what she wanted. He could have just said a "hi".

I don't think I ll go there again. I make better at home.

Small place with a nice terrace. Breakfast and coffee are delicious with different types of pancakes.

Good value for money, fresh, and delicious.
