My kids LOVE to visit this spot and feed the wildlife! The turtles swim to you when you have bread for them😉It's a great place to walk along the path to the bridge overlooking all of the turtles and fish. They keep the area nice and clean!

I feel great knowing that I have received two degrees from The University of Southern Mississippi,a BS in Psychology,2015, and a Master's Degree in Social Work,2020 .Thank you Father God for these wonderful Blessings.

The campus has a nice layout and the facilities are landscaped well.  USNews 2017 ratings has it at the #220 for National Universities.

Amazing, just right kinda size,campus, wouldn't change my decision of going here to finish off my business degree with emphasis in real estate and biology. Amazing smart students to commute, learn, and be with.   Amazing professors. Amazing degree. Amazing alumni. UsM has 3 satellite campuses and I loved them all: ocean springs, Hattiesburg, and this one on the beach with the friendship oak. When I left they had 2 gyms on campus and possibly getting dorms back in 2015.

The parking passes are expensive. I guess everything about this school is, but careful not to use the parking lot unless you've purchased one. They fine you the cost of the pass every time you park there.

JAB Fitness

Great gym facility with a variety of things to do to get a good pump. Classes have been a blast since I joined 3 months or so ago! Been a great addition to my normal work out routine! Friendly staff and knowledgeable trainers and owners. Highly recommend if you're curios about self defense or just adding a new way to get in shape!

I love this gym!!!!! Brandon and Jen are amazing. They always listen to my needs and work diligently in making sure I achieve my goals. They provide a comfortable space for all types of people. Extremely clean from top to bottom. I would and do recommend this gym to everyone.

Great gym! John Long and Jason Ellegood are some of the best coaches I have worked with. They have lots of classes for beginners, intermediate, and advance fighters. The gym is very clean and has a variety of unique gym equipment you can’t find at other gyms. I’m happy I found Jab Fitness.

Nice weight room and the classes are tough but can be fun 😊. Boxers are some of the best conditioned athletes and they share this knowledge with the rest of us in their classes! Try it out if you want to grow and challenge yourself.

I got dragged here by my friend & I thought I would just attend one boxing class and be done with it. Since August 2019, I have been consistent with going to classes because the workouts are fun, sweaty, and I feel physically and mentally so much better. The instructors are fantastic and the owners, Jen and Brandon are awesome people. I highly recommend JAB Fitness for anyone who’s looking for a place to get solid results & your money’s worth.

University of Maryland

This uni is not bike friendly at all!  The large campus doesn’t have infrastructure or design to keep bikers, skaters or commuters who scooter safe.  You basically need a car to navigate around campus.

The UMD health center physicians say that the #1 reason students and patients visit for injuries is campus bike, scooter, and skateboard related.

More recently signs and street symbols have been posted to inform drivers that they must share the road with these types of travelers, but there are not individual lanes or pathways physically protecting these commuters.

The same goes for all of College Park.  It is a bit sad since PG county is one of the top 5 wealthiest counties in the Nation and PG county and UMD don’t show action to on improving and promoting sustainable and more inclusive ways of commuting.

Beautiful campus off a not-so scenic main thoroughfare (Baltimore Avenue). I attended for one short semester and it was nice to return and see all the progress and development that has occurred over the years. Numerous new buildings including campus dining and resident halls. The campus tour we attended for my child was long, and they still have covid protocols required for visitors, which is a bit bizarre, but not entirely surprising, since the State of Maryland always thinks it's on the cutting edge of progress. Also surprised how dead it was on homecoming weekend, and the students we did see wandering on campus do not wear their Maryland colors. A bit disappointing.

I worked at UM for many years. I see so many changes--new student housing, new hotel, new buildings. What else is new? They are building the purple metrorail. You see construction occurring in middle of campus. The metro will take you into Washington DC and Virginia.

On the metrorail map, I have labeled the states (MD for "Maryland and VA for "Virginia").  Washington DC is in the middle of the map.  Currently, there is a College Park metrorail on the Green Line
off-campus. It is about 5 minutes from campus.

What is it like at this university? The university definitely has a diverse population. There are a lot of places to eat and things to do whether it is movies, concerts, or recreation.

The Eppley Recreation Center is huge. There is swimming, gym, aerobics, etc. You can Google it.  There are also trails surrounding the campus. Check out article from The Diamondback college newspaper) entitled, "For Your Walking Pleasure:Here are the Best Trails in College Park". I believe, one of the trails will take you into DC.

If you are looking for a campus that offers a little bit of everything, this is the campus to go.

Questions on quizzes that aren’t even remotely touched upon in any discussions, homework or labs.

Encouraging laziness in incompetent people who don’t pull their own weight and make the hard-working people pull the weight for them in group projects.

Serious attitude problems, and virtually sadistic professors.
I am so glad I am paying for this education…

This campus is turning into a joke..

Really nice room. All the lights had mood settings and automation. The scenery was very modern and clean. The bathroom was nice and it had some amazing views very comfortable hotel would definitely visit again.

My only recommendation would be maybe having some kind of microwave or something available in the room.
However I might end up upgrading to an executive suite next time just to have a dedicated kitchen.

Dawn Career Institute

I went to Dawn for Medical Billing. The best I could do was get a temporary placement through a temp agency at a local hospital doing data entry. I asked the hospital about a medical billing position and was told they would never hire someone based on Dawn Institute training because their education is sub-par. I’ve never been able to get a medical billing job and am still making poverty level wages.

I went for Medical Billing and Coding, showed up everyday, worked hard, and still took care of errands and bills, all while working full-time, as well. I graduated in less than a year and they helped me get a job with a great company that later  partnered with an even bigger company. I'm advancing in skills and making more money. I now have off on weekends and major holidays. I'm also getting overtime, too (if I choose to). Going to Dawn was an excellent choice and I'd encourage anyone wanting a better career to give them a call.

I started 3 months in on having a infant, I just want to say I appreciate the medical instructors helping me pull through it’s really hard when you have a infant versus a child when dealing with online school and your teachers a phone call away but your kid could do something that puts your attention to something else . Without ms.Tammy and Ms.baker I don’t know what I would have did they made my online experience for medical assisting so amazing even when it was hard for me to get to my laptop or to a clinical🩵🩵🩵if your interested in on going here you should !!

I graduated from the medical assistance program back in 2010. I was told they would help me get a job. I asked when do we start working and was told that they don't find us a job, they teach how to get a job. The things they taught us i already knew from high school. How to make a resume, walk door to door with your resume, etc. I did get one call back for a medical assistance and when i told them where I graduated from they told me they do not hire grads from Dawn Career Institute and good luck finding a medical facility that would. On top of all that i found out it would have been cheaper to go to deltech and i would have interned at Christiana Hospital. Instead i am stuck working in a restaurant and still stuck paying the tuition. I give 0 stars because they lie and push people through just so they don't have to deal with them

Dawn Career Institute gives adult learners an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that help them advance in careers that can change their lives. Everyone at the school is there to help throughout such an exciting and life changing journey! The school is immaculate and welcoming.

University of New Hampshire

Hosted a wannabe dictator who travels the country quoting Mein Kampf. This country is filled with idiots. The greatest freedom we have is how we react to others. This man wants to take the freedom of Americans away and all of our institutions meant to protect us are failing to do so. I find all our leaders wanting, but these people hosted someone who says he’s going to be a dictator on day one. Do you all feel like that won’t impact you?

It had me at hello!  Great atmosphere. Great campus. Everyone you spoke to was genuinely passionate about being there. Can't wait for my girl to be a wildcat in the fall!

They truly do not care about the student body, as a whole or on an individual basis. The education is okay but the experience as a student is extremely lacking and they are constantly pushing and shoving you, nickel and dime-ing. As a senior this year, if I could go back, I would choose a different school completely. Many students agree, and if you are in high school, I highly encourage you to talk to other UNH students rather than the recruiters that are likely hounding you about going to UNH. You can do better!

Stopped for an ice-cream at train station and was surprised that you needed a charge card for all transactions until I figured it keeps theft at bay or disease associated with handling of bills.
Saw granddaughter while there as well.

Bridgton Academy

How does one sufficiently review the best prep school in America? wellll, you start in January of 1969. At that time there was only a one lane road up to BA from Bridgton, and as my Dad and I traversed north on 117, there was a TEN foot continuously plowed pile of snow on either side of us.   Our 4speed Volvo, shard with new aggressive snow tires handles the snow well. Ah, we arrived within a village of sylvan beauty, white fairy tale magnificence! I turned to my Dad and said, this is the school for me. I knew in my heart of hearts this was a very special spiritual place for me. Then after the interview with Headmaster Richard L. Goldsmith I again turned to my Dad and said I have got to be here come fall.I prayed that night that Mr. Goldsmith would answer my fervent quest. ohhh, yes he made me the happiest boy in new England! AND that year did indeed make, ALL THE DIFFERENCE FOR ME.

Bridgton is a wonderful place and gorgeous if you haven't been yet then your missing out

Saint Joseph's College of Maine

We are wrapping up a great run at St. Joe’s!! Our son is completing his MBA after receiving his undergrad last spring while having played for the mens soccer team throughout. The entire experience was excellent! From the quality of the education, caliber of the athletic program, friendships made, growth as a person, support of the coaches and admin staff, and last but not least the beautiful location. I would recommend St. Joe’s to any student seeking these attributes. Go Monks!

Our daughter transferred to Saint Joseph's for her sophomore year from a large university out west. She chose SJC because it offered the major she was interested in and gave her the ability to participate in a Division III sport, alpine skiing. She has had nothing but a positive experience! The academics have been a great fit for her, she has made great friends and has enjoyed the camaraderie of the ski team. The overall atmosphere of academics and athletics has exceeded our expectations. The professors are very attentive, and the ski team coaching staff has been amazing. To top it off, you can't beat the beautiful close knit campus on Sebago lake.

St. Joseph's College strikes a great balance of providing their students with a top notch education along with an outstanding athletic program. I can't say enough good things about the family orientated, student first culture the College, Athletic Department and specifically, the Women's Alpine Ski and Lacrosse team coaches provide our daughter and her teammates. We strongly recommend Saint Joseph's College to anyone looking for a great education while pursuing their passion for top notch athletics!

We have a daughter who is currently a sophomore on campus. Our son now has decided to attend St Joe's next September. Once we walked on campus, met staff and current students, both our kids decided right then that's where they would be attending. Both play LAX, and after meeting with Coach Keenan for the girls and Coach Cosentino for the boys, both our kids felt welcomed. They had found a second home to play LAX and get a great education . As parents, we love the safety the campus offers and the close knit community, so we couldn't have been more pleased when our son decided to attend also! Such a beautiful campus on the lake makes visits enjoyable every single time.

St. Joseph's College is a hidden gem in the State of Maine. I am so grateful for my time at SJC, and for the connections I formed with the wonderfully supportive community that wraps their arms around the college, as well as the athletics programs, particularly the women's basketball program. The networking and outreach that this small college in Maine has afforded me in my career and life has made me even more grateful for my decision to attend so many years ago.
