A duty-free shop inside Honolulu airport, located in Terminal D ? 🤔 (please cross check). There is no state sale tax for merchandises bought from the store irrespect to whether customers are foreigners or US citizens. We did a price check and confirmed items we bought at DFS were a little lower plus no sale tax.

Had to buy a charger and plug because I forgot to put them in my take on luggage. Airport cost for these items $45.96.
The male middle aged clerk, when I asked him if he was sure they would work on my phone, said he wouldn't know. Why would I buy them???
The customer next it line said something to get a better response from clerk.

The ladies working there didn’t offer any help at first, even though I was searching for a specific perfume. After smelling a couple perfumes one employee asked “Are you okay” in an angry voice (to which I said yes) then proceeded to stare at me from 1 meter away and follow me until I left the store

Disliked, google statement, is not my intent.  Yes it is 2 star, but would have been a 1 if I hadn't enjoyed previously.  I enjoy browsing the DFS section when I am blessed enough to travel to Honolulu.
ALL, yes every single one, are closed.  See pictures for the notice.
Here again, closed when I landed.  I am hopeful they will all be open as I leave.

Best exodus gift for myself! As I quickly walked through the airport to my flight off the island (moving, sadly) and passed the smaller DFS store, I spotted some Jo Malone perfumes on display. I hadn't bought any in years.

Clerk #18263 promptly rushed to the opposite side of the counter and accommodated me in sampling all the Jo Malone scents. Though quite young, she was expedient, pleasant and helpful, suggesting I get the last gift set available in my favorite -- and she would get me a purse-sized bottle as a complementary gift. I also love La Vie Est Belle, and she found me a discounted bottle of that as well, knocking $20 off my total purchase.

The credit goes to Clerk #18263. She was so nice and friendly - knowing her stuff and getting me the best deal - she encouraged me to spoil myself. I'm so happy I stopped.

Now I have two giant bottles of my favorite perfumes, and I got them both at such a low price, I couldn't refuse. And all of this in one of the most expensive cities in the world!

Worth every penny!! We had the best time on this tour. Our pilot was Max and he was so knowledgeable about all of the different areas and had an amazing play list to match. If you have the opportunity to try this excursion, don’t pass it up! 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely amazing and extremely worth it. I gifted this to my dad for his 60th and he said it was “the best thing he has ever done”. Our pilot Kate was amazing and the whole crew was great. They put us at ease and everything ran so smoothly. The doors off experience is super worth it and gave us the best views we could possibly have. I thought it might be pretty scary but everything ran so smoothly that I was relaxed and could enjoy the entire flight. Definitely want to do this again next time I’m in Kauai and would urge everyone I know to try it!

Once in a lifetime experience but we will definitely go again!!! The stunning geography of this island is like nothing I’ve ever seen! Pure amazement and beauty that left us speechless! Our pilot was knowledgeable and very relaxed which was comforting to me with the doors of experience. What a rush! And the amazing ground crew were so lovely and accommodating to us with rescheduling due to weather and helping us with our kids. I can’t say enough good things about this company! Highly recommend!

Awesome experience! The doors off helicopter tour is a must. The staff at Airborne Aviation was friendly and fun and knowledgeable. My husband said, "I don't know what we paid, but it was worth double that."

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we booked this a while back. I was so scared to go but we just had to. Max made our experience phenomenal. He was calm, knowledgeable and just generally nice. Everyone was so helpful and kind as well. The tour itself was breathtaking. We had no words to describe it. 100/10 recommend and would go a million times over.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters

Fabulous experience.  This was my first helicopter ride and staff put me at ease.  Steve was a fabulous pilot and did his best to make sure we all had the best photos and videos.  We had a clear day and flew to highest point and into volcano.  This was. the only way to truly see the coast and canyon!

Absolutely amazing experience with Blue Hawaiian! Our pilot, Robert, was professional, knowledgeable, and fun! He managed to make this group flight feel personalized to each passenger. There is no better way to see the breathtaking views of Kauai’s natural beauty than from the sky. This is a must-do for anyone visiting the island!

One of the best experiences of our vacation on Kauai. A chance to see the whole island,  so much of which you can't see by any other way.  The extra splurge for the front seats next to the pilot were well worth it for the unobstructed view. Also loved the sound track that was played during the tour! Steve was an awesome pilot!

Wow! What an amazing experience, and this allowed my husband who is a wheelchair user to see things we’d never be able to hike to (and we were unable to get a boat that was accessible to see the Na’Pali coast).
I was a bit nervous at first but our pilot, Robby, instantly put us at ease and it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
The scenery was spectacular, the music was great and the commentary was so helpful.
For wheelchair users, there is a seated lift that allows you to make a level transfer from your wheelchair, you stay seated while the seat goes up an incline, then you slide over onto the helicopter seat. The ground crew was SO helpful and patient. 5 stars all around!!!

A definite “must do” when in Kauai!  Absolutely the best thing we did! Kauai has so many beautiful places that can’t be reached by car or boat, this helicopter tour took us to breathtaking places we’d never had been able to see—-and I mean breathtaking ! The staff at Blue Hawaiian were professional and friendly.  Pilot Derrick was amazing!  He first put us at ease by giving us his credentials—extremely capable pilot. Great storyteller of the land, it’s history, etc. He is so passionate about the landmarks and the heart and soul of Kauai. Great use of music as you round each turn. Just when you think the place you are looking at is so beautiful, you turn the corner, and there is another one even more beautiful!  Pictures cannot do justice to these amazing places to see. You just gotta take the tour!!!  You have to FEEL it!  Never one time was I scared about the flight.  We had great weather and our tour was at 10:10. We took some pictures but wanted to purchase the video of our tour with all the commentary, and it had several cameras capturing the footage of everything we saw. Would recommend purchasing video in advance. Saves a little money. Will recommend Blue Hawaiian to all our friends coming here and huge shoutout to pilot Derrick!  Keep doing what you are doing!

Island Helicopters Kauai

AMAZING!! This was the highlight of our trip to Kauai. This was our first time visiting and it was a great way to see the whole island. The trip was about an hour and it took you all around the island and to the Jurassic Park waterfall. The waterfall was BEAUTIFUL! It was a little windy that day and wish I brought my rain jacket because the waterfall is huge and you will get a little wet. But it is SO worth it. The waterfall is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Also it’s great because the tour are the only ones with access to the waterfall so it’s was just us and the captain. The ride was also so smooth , I had never been on a helicopter before and it was so smooth and relaxing. It was awesome! Totally recommend!

Best Island Air Tour on Kauai! Traveling solo was a blast but the people you meet really do make a trip in my opinion. I booked the Jurassic falls and island tour and you should too! Yes you actually get to land and walk around the iconic waterfall backdrop from the Jurassic park helo landing.  First, the facility. Very clean and professional, easy to locate and the office staff were engaging and knowledgeable. Second, the aircraft. The AS-350's are clean, comfortable and offer amazing views from any seat. Last but certainly not least, the pilot. Brent was an amazing pilot and host with a rich family history of current and former pilots. Talk about passion for a job, there's no one I'd rather fly with than someone who's found their calling. The takeoffs, in-flight maneuvers and landings were super smooth and his ability to engage with the guests with information of the island were unmatched. Worth every penny for the experience received and then some so don't forget to tip your pilot!

10/10 I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone. If you're hesitant to fly in a helicopter I promise there's no better group to instill confidence through performance.

Amazing experience.  Brodi was our pilot and made it such a safe and memorable experience.  Taught us a lot about the culture of the island.  The first leg of the journey was the falls and then a brilliant tour around the island. It was magnificent

What a truly amazing experience!! We booked last minute upon arriving in Kauai and were not disappointed. As lifelong fans of the movie, this experience is a must do. But if that wasn’t enough, the full tour of the island and the Napali coast blew us away. Our pilot, Brodi, was amazing, knowledgeable and kind. After we left we just kept saying how it was the best vacation activity we’ve ever done! Thanks again!

Island Helicopters Kauai, located in the heart of Hawaii, offers a thrilling experience that immerses visitors in the breathtaking beauty of the island. During our unforgettable journey, we were captivated by the majestic Jurassic Falls and the remarkable panoramas that unfolded before our eyes. The skilled Asian pilot guided us expertly, ensuring our safety while providing insightful commentary throughout the trip.

However, we were disheartened by the restrictions imposed during the excursion. Our desire to capture the memories with personal attire was hindered by the pilot's decision not to allow us to remove our black loaner shirts, which limited our photographic opportunities. Additionally, the feeling of being rushed left a slightly sour note, detracting from what should have been a leisurely and immersive experience.

Despite these shortcomings, the overall adventure was undeniably awe-inspiring, granting us a unique glimpse of the island's natural wonders. Yet, the missed opportunity for personalization and the hurried pace did leave us yearning for a more tailored and relaxed encounter.

Kauai Plantation Railway

Awesome tour. Highly recommended. Kai was our guide for the 3.5 hour tour! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Bring a bag with you on this tour, depending on the season, you get to sample all different varieties of fruits and take some with you as well! Lunch was great, we chose two different things so we could share. Fresh catch sandwich was awesome.  If you come to Kauai definitely add this to you to do list. Priced very good with everything you get on this trip! Mahalo Kai!!

We booked 3 separate excursions and this was by far my favorite. I recommend doing the nature walk tour with train ride. Well worth it. Kai was our guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend going towards the beginning of your trip rather than the tail end as they let you pick fruit to take home. And I tell ya the fruit is delicious!!!!

We had so much fun on the Plantation Railway! Even the guys in our group enjoyed it (we originally planned that just the girls would go, but the guys joined us & they were glad they did). The conductor & narrator were both very friendly and fun. It was very interesting hearing about the different fruit trees and vegetation on the island. Halfway through the train ride, we stopped to feed pigs, chickens, cows, and a horse. It was so much fun! The cows were hilarious & would open their mouth wide for you to drop the food right in their mouths. You should go on the train! It is such a great value!

What a fun experience and great tour guide and engineer! We loved to feed the animals and hear about the crops grown on the plantation. Loved hearing the history and current use of the plantation! Would really have loved for the old mansion to be a tour and not a variety of gift shops, but at least they identified each room as what it had been at the time it was used as a home. It was stunning and spacious and I can only imagine how luxurious it was when it was a family home.

Lots of parking catching the first train ride of the day. They should make it obvious that you have to go inside to get a paper ticket for your reservation. 40 minutes went by quickly and it gets really crowded for the size of the small gift shop. Tour guide was decent with the history and dad jokes. We might have missed if they sold the fruit that they grow on site.

Fathom Five Divers

Reid as our dive master and Mercedes boat captain were fantastic. Ive never seen so many turtles in one place (Sheraton caverns). Plus fast lane site saw a couple white tip, octopus, and many fish. Great dive and both take safety very seriously. Would highly recommend.

I can't begin to say enough good things about this company. I have dived in several different countries and Fantom is one of the most friendly, professional, and safe company that gave so much effort to show us a good time.
Starting with booking, I made an error and emailed the company. They responded back immediately and had fixed my request. At the dive shop, check in staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Our dive guide went over our equipment which was in very good condition/quality and set everything up for us.
On the boat ride out our guide showed us pictures of things we might expect to see, pointed out things on the island, shared his knowledge on the unique ecosystem, and gave some much information on sea turtles.
During the dive we saw so many turtles, fish, lobsters, and an octopus. Our guide had an underwater writing pad that he used to write down the things he pointed out.
All staff was super friendly and offered to take photos/videos of us while on the boat and in the water.
Such a fantastic company that we will definitely use again when we visit.

Great dive shop in Kauai. We did 5 dives with them on our trip — a two-tank night dive and a three-tank day trip.

Julie was our divemaster for the day trip, and her nudibranch-spotting skills were top notch :) She helped us find and identify 10 different species, including a couple bucket-list slugs like the gold-laced nudibranch we found on our last dive.

I would highly recommend Fathom Five.

We dove four days with Fathom Five Divers and couldn’t have been more pleased with their dove operation.  Professional crew and very comfortable boat that is designed for divers!  They all educated us on the large and small life that we saw on all dives!  The highlight was swimming with a whale shark, which just happened to be crossing in our return path from Ni’ihau!

Fantastic dive shop.  The day after flying our sinuses weren't clearing and we were feeling awful.  The shop was incredibly accommodating and rescheduled us.  The captain made what could have been a very rough ride very enjoyable.  The dive sites were amazing and the dive master was a pro.  We saw some beautiful wildlife and our rental gear made the dive very comfortable. The use of the dive computers was easy and intuitive.  I can't say enough good things about Fathom Five. One of the best operations on the island.

The scammers, beware, offer one thing when you go to make the reservation, you pay and then it does not come out. I booked some flights with checked bags included and once the purchase was paid the bags had disappeared and I had to pay for them separately. Some scammers, like that in general with purchases with this trade, let's see if it's true and they close!

Exceptional treatment, diligent, friendly and attentive at all times to the client. I have a problem with a trip purchased online and they are fully involved in solving it despite not being a trip purchased at the agency.
Without a doubt my next trips with the Pontevedra agency.

You are going to book a trip with them and it seems that they are doing you a favor, they do not give you all the information that a client needs and even more so in times of COVID to make a reservation to a nearby country, three different girls assisted me and when you go to the agency takes you forever to serve you even above without kindness or interest, the truth is I don't feel at all comfortable on the trip I booked with them, I hope there are no problems, I don't recommend the agency in Pontevedra TERRIBLE

I have been contracting my trips with them for years and everything has always turned out wonderfully. Maria always helps me and she is charming, as well as professional ❤️

The Inserso trips are very good, but I would like them to call me without having to personally insist on the agency. I don't understand how people around me travel up to four times and they never call me.

Excellent Carrefour great variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish meat, well worth a visit very helpful and pleasant staff.

Big supermarket and a lots of shops in the centre. There is a lot of parking. Unfortunately no place to eat or have a coffee unless the supermarket offers it.

It's good place for shopping.  People can find here alot of different things the same place.

Good place for shopping and bring kids during the weekend ..
