Big O Tires

We go to our neighborhood Big-O Tires, off of 1940 S.Federal in Denver. One of the managers, Alex has an amazing team rockin with him! I can't even count how many times they prepped my car for winter, helped me with tires, and fixed a lot of sensors on my vehicles! I don't go no where else with help with our vehicles.
They provide great customer service & they always get it done right the first time. it's great coming to a business, where they strive to provide great service & work ethic! Salute to the whole squad, all the new tires, pros, I've also met, that made me feel welcome, Joseph, Victor & Josh! Alex's crew is the best of the best! thank you! Happy Holidays!!

Service is great there!! I take my vehicles there for pretty much everything. They don't lie to make another couple hundred off you to try n fix what isn't broken. Alex is very professional, knowledgeable and polite from start to finish. Thanks team!!

BIG THANKS to Felix, Victor and Alex for their work on my car. I went in Wednesday and talked to Felix and Victor, who are very very VERY nice, and gave me the run down on what could be needed to be done other than the tires. They answered all of my questions in a way that I can understand as I am not a knowledgeable car person. After discussing the tires which was my original plan to get, he was able to get me in to  replace my tires and my brakes as well as new rotors the very next day with a really solid deal. After driving off the lot I couldn't have been happier feeling like my car was new, no squeaking no hard turning, my car feels like she's driving like butter again! Highly recommend this Big O in particular if you are in Denver.
Felix has an amazing vibe and is very funny and kind and helped me BIG time.
Victor has a wonderful demeaner and calm atmosphere and was a pleasure speaking with them both.

Came in today to get my right tail light fixed. Asked if they could change both due to if one goes out and gets changed the other one tends to go out some weeks later. Pricing was very decent. Felix is the guy to see not saying any of the others aren't good to see. Felix was very nice and hospitable. He had such a good positive vibe and was not rude nor rushed how some mechanics are at other locations. Told me he would get things done as soon as they could. Waited for maybe an hour with other people ahead of me and without a reservation for service. It is first come first serve so be early if u need something done. Great service and car is still pushing good. Thanks Felix and the staff at this Big O on Federal. Will be back🤗

Felix was very informative and helpful on my journey to finding the right tires for all-weather conditions! I was in a snow related accident two years ago due to cheap tires that had no traction, and Felix helped me pick the right set of tires on the phone and ordered them to the location. He proceeded to wheel the tire out to me when I arrived to the shop to show me the tread and explain a few things before mounting them on my car. This made me feel very appreciated and respected as a customer! Felix and his team were efficient and the job was completed under an hour. I drove 30 minutes to this particular Big O location for the reviews alone! Thanks Felix!

La Baguette

Overall Rating: 5.00. Delectable French sandwiches, pastries, desserts, breads, cookies, etc. Turkey & Cheese Croissant, Almond Croissant 🥐& French Onion Soup so tasty. Highly recommend the Cheesecake Fruit Tart—best I’ve ever tasted. Seating inside/outside with table service & pet friendly. Centrally located in Old Colorado City by eclectic shops & eateries. Clean bathrooms. Support locally opened businesses.

Stumbled upon this place while exploring Old Colorado City. Absolutely delicious French breakfast served here. I had the scrambled egg with ham and Swiss on a croissant. It came with a side of fruit (grapes and cantaloupe). I highly recommend this pastry if you’re looking for a delicious filling breakfast. This place has self seating and you order at the counter when you first come in. You’ll get a number to take to your table and they will bring your food to you. Service was super friendly and fast. Great breakfast restaurant in the cute little town of Old Colorado City.

Very good place if in the mood for some French cuisine. It is a self seating establishment. Walk up to their amazing menu, order, and take your number. They will bring you your order. Friendly staff and I would easily go back. Ordered the Escargot and a French onion soup. My wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli. Easy 5 stars

Absolutely loved our time here.   We ordered the tortellini for our kids, which they devoured.  I highly recommend the butternut squash ravioli!  The French onion soup was bursting with flavor and traditionally made.  Everything we tried seemed to be made with fresh ingredients.  The bacon and leek quiche was served with a delicious salad.  Can't wait to try some of their fresh bread. The pastries were perfection.  I ordered the Cafe au lait and it was great! My husband ordered the espresso and it was definitely strong. 👌

What a fantastic find in Old Colorado City.

I didn't know anything about La Baguette when I stopped in - and I'm glad I stopped.

The staff at the counter were friendly.  Although they were out of quiche (my first choice), the staff had some suggestions of other dishes.  I ordered an omelette which was huge, came with fruit and an enormous freshly baked loaf of bread.  Loaf might be the wrong word - but something big enough you could have fed several people.  All for a pretty small price.

The bread is delicious - it's rejoice to any god you can find you don't have a gluten allergy delicious.  These people know bread.

The atmosphere is casual and there is outdoor seating when the weather is good.

La Baguette serves food all day - but I'd highly recommend this for a breakfast spot with friends.  Bicycle over, grab a table, and gnaw on some of the tastiest baked dough you'll find.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Old Colorado City

If you're a chocolate lover and find yourself in Old Colorado City, you have to check out this charming chocolate shop! From the moment you walk in, the sweet aroma of chocolate will have your taste buds tingling with anticipation. The highlight of our visit was the chocolate covered banana and cherry candy apples. They were exquisitely crafted and tasted absolutely divine. The chocolate coating was rich and smooth, and the fruit inside was fresh and juicy. It's clear that the staff at this shop take great pride in their work and have a passion for chocolate making. The selection of chocolate covered items was impressive and we had a difficult time choosing which ones to try. If you're looking for a delectable chocolate experience, this shop is a must-visit. We highly recommend it!

Nothing worth stopping for. The chocolate was fine but far from anything amazing. The staff was all young and very obviously not interested in providing any form of customer service outside the forced interactions that were required during the transaction, which ended in being asked if I wanted to leave a tip on the screen.

Love the fudge here!! The Carmel apples are also amazing 💯 the employees are helpful but not always friendly. Went in for a certain fudge and was told they would cut it if it wasn’t available. Well it wasn’t and they sold me a chocolate chip not peanut butter. Other than the little mishaps it’s still quality chocolate and candy here. Would highly recommend. Been coming for years!!!

This was an awesome little chocolate store! It smelled fantastic, the energy and costumer service was great, and the chocolate was delectable. The prices were actually fair for a high quality chocolate shop. My only complaint is the dark chocolate left much to desire and I love dark chocolate, but the milk chocolate was fantastic. My wife and I got chocolate covered strawberries. If I could give this place a 4.5 I would but I was very disappointed in the dark chocolate. But I still highly recommend this store!

The staff was really nice and the service was great. All of the stuff we ordered was good and so was the items recommended by the staff. I like the old timey candy shop feel to this place

Shell

Excellent convenience store! Their bathrooms are clean as is the storefront. They have the best fountain drinks south of Denver. It has the perfect consistency of syrup to carbonation ratio. And they have plenty of pumps with high clearance so there is always availability to gas up any size vehicle.

I'm a frequent customer there. Practically always friendly staff unless there is something going on, and then they are absolutely attentive/regarding to others. Lately this place has never been more clean, FIFO-ed, and organized. My only wish is that they have more deli/ready to eat products. Cheers guys!

Chick with heart tattoos on her hands has got some ego problems. Was very rude, she didn't tell me how much the charge was or how much change I was getting back then she also tried to short change me. I dont care if its gotta all be paid in pennies you don't short the customer..

My son went in to buy snacks and the man said they were closed and made him leave, but yet a few people walked in right after him and he allowed them to shop I guess it's based on the color of your skin with this store.

Count your change if you pay in cash, if you pay with a $20 they'll try to give you change for a $10. This place has thieves working the register, I'll never be back and I'll definitely be in touch with corporate.

McDonald's

This location was far from my hive, but I figured I would stop by on my way back after a hard day of collecting pollen. Overall, the staff were friendly (none of them tried to smash me), the location looked clean (although I only got a view from outside since I am a bee and cannot open doors) , and the food taste good (if you like fast food). I especially enjoyed the delicious sugar water (coke?) And was able to bring some back to the hive to use what we can to make honey. If this location is ever in my path of work again, I will definitely stop by.

Usually it’s fine, and normally I use the drive through, where I can verify that they heard me say “no cheese.” But today I went in, and was told that I didn’t say “no cheese” when I very clearly remember that I did. So I guess I’ll start saying it a lot.

Service was the worst I had ever had. It was pretty much no service. I dined in and was at the counter for about 5 min, no help. I saw a guy walk in from outside and go behind the counter, and I asked if I could get help at the counter, and he looked at me and ignored me. The manager was only worried about the drive-through.  I do not recommend this place at all. No one speaks English there. 🤷‍♀️

Every time I go there I’m asked to pull into the “wait longer” spots. Super long waits. They also clearly don’t season the burgers or fries. Bland tastes all around.

We used the drive thru around 620pm on 12/26/21. We ordered a triple cheeseburger with no mustard and no pickle. The guy who took our order put no onion and no mustard. So I corrected him. The triple cheeseburger was fine except had mayonnaise added to it. I also ordered a hot and spicy Mcchicken with no lettuce and add cheese. It never showed up on the screen so I verified the sandwich order with him. He said he had it and I showed up and my sandwich had lettuce all over it. Our food was also very cold and we live 2 minutes away from the McDonald's.

The food and service at this McDonald’s used to be great. However, in the past six months things have gone downhill. On several occasions I’ve waited 20+ mins for my food. On my last visit I was served an undercooked burger (nearly raw), have been given the incorrect order multiple times, every time I go there “the ice cream machine is down” and on one occasion I was charged more than double the correct price for my order.  Yesterday I used the app with an at the counter pickup hoping things would be better. I was the only customer in the restaurant and was ignored for ten mins, then had to wait an additional ten mins to get my order. During which time I witnessed the manager swear at her employees and complain about the drive-thru customers using inappropriate language. I will NEVER eat here again. Hopefully the franchise owner will read this and do something about it.

Such great service. Food was fast, hot, and freshly prepared. Mary took my order and she was awesome. She went above and beyond. She even gave me a free drink and some nuggets that no one picked up. It was better than throwing them away. This McDonald's location is one that I would definitely recommend going to.

I've noticed that before somewhere around 5PM, the food is usually not fresh to the point that I regret my purchase.  After 5PM, it usually ranges from good to perfect.  I'm assuming a shift change occurs around this time and the later shift does a better job not cooking too much at once and/or throwing out the excess before it gets too old.  I recommend avoiding this location before 5PM, but after 5PM, it's usually good.

The people who helped were nice...that's about it. Our entire order was wrong with what we specified for and tasted terrible...and the tea at this location is definitely NOT tea. No clue what they're serving here but just don't bother

We stopped here for breakfast when in town on vacation. The staff inside was great and the food was hot. They do have a lot of homeless people hanging out behind the parking lot and occasionally one of them would come in or stumble around the parking lot.

Brothers Ace Hardware

Not quite sure what's going on with this store anymore. Have given them a couple of opportunities to help. The staff recommended parts that were completely and absurdly wrong for the parts I needed. Thought maybe it was just a bad opportunity so I gave them a couple of more tries over the summer and was very disappointed each time.
I thought maybe it was just a coincide but it was not I reached out to them for a warranty problem with a furnace that they installed two years ago and they said no we don't deal with that anymore you're on your own.
Highly recommend you avoid this store at all costs there is another hardware store in town that is much more knowledgeable and does everything that you need them to do.
Will never step foot in Brothers Ace hardware again.

Garner is very blessed to have this awesome hardware store.They have everything you need from a snack to window washer fluid to antifreeze.The guys that work there are awesome and incredibly helpful.Went there today which is Sunday and they were awesome.Thank heaven for Kramer hardware in Garner.Thank you for being here

We refilled propane here and were shocked and disappointed at their policies! They charge for a full refill, no matter how much your tank may have in it. The associate who helped us, overfilled the tank which is a potential safety hazard, especially in warm weather. And to top it off, they charged us $18 bucks for this! Twice the amount we typically pay for a 20lb tank refill. This is definitely one of those times where I wish zero stars was an option!

The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. Although they didn't have what we were needing at the time, he sent us in the right direction. Definitely is my preferred local hardware store.

Absolutely inedible food. Patty was rock hard, no chance it’s less than 4-5 hours old. Bun was stale? And cold? No idea how this burger is ice cold when every single surface it touches is HEATED from the second it leaves the freezer. This tells me this was just sitting out nowhere temp controlled.

My stomach is churning as I type this. I know for a fact that single bite is going to make me vomit very soon.

As far as Irish Burger establishments go, this one leaves you wondering where the traditional Irish dishes have gone. They seem to focus now on hamburgers, chicken discs and the accompanying french fries lately.

They make decent street sandwiches and have inventive seasonal variations for you to try once, before returning to your favorite selection , every time.

All in all the place gets the job done and rather quickly. So it remains as our first of the last options, when absolutely no other food is as available or this convenient.

Food is good, however tge serve/employees are very rude. And they pretend they don't speak English.  It takes them several minutes to even come to take the order, even if you stick your head back and yell. On top of that we order food and a Mexican lady will come tell you you have 30 minutes or she will call the cops. Service is by far the worse I've ever seen.  Smh 🤮🤯😟

I would give it no stars if I could. This is by far the WORST costumer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. We came through the drive-thru on 05/29/2023 at 11:00pm the lady ANGIE that was taking our order didn’t let us finish at the speaker she rushed us into saying “is that it” “come to the window” when my husband told her repeatedly we weren’t done yet. When we got to the window again with her attitude we finally finished placing our order with her mocking us && laughing to our faces. We gave her 25$ cash && told her we were doing the rest on card for our 37.00 order. She then charged me on my card && said my card never went through when I showed her the receipt on my phone she told us it’s not her fault we are stupid. I told her I was going to report her to corporate && then she said our food was free since my card “never went through “ avoid this location avoid yourselves a bad time

This is the worst mcdonalds in the United States. I've been to at least 35 states. And had mcdonalds in all of them. I ordered food tonight and was conned out of a shake. And had the worst big Mac of my life, there were so many sauces (like someone poured a whole bowl of sauce). Nasty. The hot and spicys were inedible. I want a total refund. And I will die trying to obtain it from you Colfax ghetto rubbish mcdonalds.

AT&T Store

My wife was here 2 weeks ago to upgrade her iPhone. Whoever the salesman was added a line to our account without our authorization so not only were we paying for an extra line (finally removed and refunded today via AT&T corporate help), we are also no longer receiving the trade in value until after January due to some arbitrary rule about upgrading and adding a new line (again, done fraudulently). He also added extra protection and the extra monthly charge to upgrade phones early, neither of which were asked for. Not a big charge but still garbage business. Second time this has happened in the last 3 months with AT&T, tired of it.

Chris at AT&T store off 120th and Sheridan was phenomenal! Too many times I’ve gone in the AT&T stores and the people in there don’t know anything it was a delight working with somebody that actually knew what they were doing and was able to help resolve my issue with efficiency, quality and fast resolution with phenomenal customer care! Chris, I hope you get your accolades for great customer service, which is by far become too rare. Thank you for being one of the rare employees at AT&T that I enjoyed working with. Te Von and Bryan were so helpful! They got my daughter a new phone and everything transferred over fast and seamlessly. They helped us figure out accessories and chargers. It was the best experience I've ever had at an at&t store

this is the worst AT&T store I have ever been to. this store has messed up our business account on several occasions. the stories are too long to even type. long story short. after they messed up several things. there solution was to add additional lines on to our account to get us cheaper phones without telling us. now we have 3 lines on a business account that we do not use. If we want to cancel these lines we need to pay off the devices signed to the lines. We had no idea that the new devices were set up to the phone lines we are not using. I recently found out there are 2 different types of ATT stores. corporate stores and franchised stores. this store is a franchised store so they run it renegade style doing what ever they want. the corporate stores are run with stricter guidelines and run with way more integrity. I will never go to a franchise store again based on my passed experience.

it absolutely kills me to write a negative google review however I feel people should know that this store has made made my bill go from $400 a month to $800 a month. and now we have 3 lines on our account that we can't cancel until we pay off $1,600 in devices.
adding to this I reached out like they asked and its been weeks and nobody responded or got back to me.  the response the sent looked great but nobody ever got back to me.

I had a great experience here, bought a new phone and new watch and TeVon provided excellent customer service the entire time. If you're looking to leave with a new phone, this store has them in stock and TeVon helped keep my monthly bill low while still providing me new products to walk out of the store and enjoy!

I like this little GNC. The staff seem knowledgeable and provide good service that is thorough and they get you in and out swiftly without rushing you. They currently are providing curb pick up and in store service. They are wearing masks and being caring of their customers as always. Thanks guys!

Went in for informatuon on a weight gainer and the CSR that helped me (Jacob) was very kind and also informative. He helped me look through and find the meal replacement most suited to my body type

Rude employee's and constantly out of stock. Just go across the street to Nutrition Co.

Place closes at 5 or 6 currently. Makes it difficult for people who work 8-5 to get in. Doesn’t quite make sense if they are trying to encourage people to come in and shop with them? Also wasn’t announced anywhere except on store window.

Very knowledgeable and respectful workers. They womt try to upsell you, just get you exactly what you need for your wants and budget.
