Visiting Angels

I've been with Visiting Angels since Feb. of this year and they're great.! They've helped me with flexibility of my schedule. I love the clients they're wonderful. I can see myself being with the company for a VERY long time.

I love being a Visiting Angel. The office Angels are an awesome group of people. Most of all I love my job!! This was 7months ago. I still feel the same but even more so now!

Working at Visiting Angels has brought me nothing but JOY and Happiness. I love my part time job sharing time with clients and their families. I enjoy assisting then with daily living activities. Walmart Supercenter

My goodness this is a large store and amazingly clean with the amount of traffic this place is has.
Shelves stocked and employees everywhere for a change it felt like compared to most Walmarts these days.

Visited today and quite the movement in clearing Halloween and getting Christmas in there. Looked efficiently and making hell great progress.

Not sure how long it will stay like this or employed like this. But nice as of this moment I can say

Walmart is always a challenging task. This time I got hyped Almond Flour is expensive and I thought there was a sale on it for the bigger size, nope in the wrong spot and literally no spot where it was suppose to actually be!!! Annoying was originally 17 + dollars

Well, I had just come from Ross on this visit where I waited in line to buy three things over 20 minutes. Walmart had no line at self checkout, but it is so difficult to get around in the store during Christmas season. That isn't the stores issue how ever! Folks just need to be courteous to eachother.

Every time I order something here for delivery there out of something. Some of the most basic items. Soda, ramen, potatoes, boxed dinners, meats, spices. Its gotten to a point that am thinking of shopping somewhere else. I tried to order ramen yesterday and apparently yall were bone dry of it. Always something, for a superstore I expected better.

I'm great. Place to stop and get majority of your everyday needs. For the best experience, highly recommend having the Walmart app and utilizing Walmart pay. Also, the shop and go function within the app is very helpful to get in and get out quickly.

Wichita Boot Camp - Fitness Kickboxing

Started a little over 8 weeks ago. Ron does a fantastic job at keeping the workout up beat and different every day! Great time slots for classes for those with busy schedule too!

Flinthills Mall

Grew up with this small city mall. Lots of memories here. It has had some major upgrades here recently. The theater is MUCH improved and the interior of the mall is now gorgeous. Now we just need a larger variety of stores here. Lots of clothing stores.

I just went to get my State ID, and afterwards I looked at some shoes at the athletic/sports shop across the way. Very nice girl. I have to go back when I'm more prepared for looking at shoes.

Not many stores left but it's a great place to just walk, always see seniors taking advantage of a cool place to get some needed exercise. Movie theater looks like a nice place, have never watched anything here, but the whole building smells of glorious POPCORN 🍿🍿

I went there for care for my feet I got a pedicure at Crystal nails they are very nice there and do good work

Went to the B&B theater. Awesome quick service and great staff. Will go again.

West Ridge Mall

Like all shopping malls, this once grand structure is slowly and quietly fading into memory. Only a few national chains remain, as best I can tell, there's no locally owned stores left. The foodcourt is completely abandoned. The arcade is a complete joke. It's really sad to see this place that was once so full of life, now devoid of it. Hot Topic, Journeys, and Spencer's all remain, and are the only reasons I end up at the mall anymore. I'd love to see it make a comeback, but I highly doubt it will.

There's a lot of empty spaces but there's still most of the stores you see in every mall. Rarely busy so nice to walk around. It's always clean when I've gone. Several emergency storm shelter areas too.

This mall is essentially empty. Unless you are coming here for something in particular that you know is still open I would pass. Particularly, if you are from out of town and don’t know, the mall is dead and there isn’t much of a reason to go at this point. There are many other malls within an hours drive such as Oak Park and Legends which I would recommend much more than this mall.

With the new owners, it seems as if someone is finally caring for the building and making it a "must go to" place in Topeka. I'm excited to see their long-term plan!

We decided to walk the Mall, and do a little shopping.  We enjoyed tourin Dillards, Penneys and Kirklands. I was extactic to find some new clothes that I sorely needed. We were impressed with all three of the stores, the merchandise, the people and the condition of the stores.  The entire walk was a pleasant experience.

Shirley's Diner

Kick started hubby's birthday weekend off trying a new place and ended up at Shirley's.  Watched a lot of delicious looking food come from the kitchen to the diners while waiting for a seat.  We were so excited that when we finally for our food, it was as good as it all looked.  Our server was not very friendly and was very impatient coming over several times in the first couple of minutes... even after explaining, we have never been there before.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast a while back. My smothered breakfast burrito was pretty good and filling. My husband enjoyed his sandwich as well. The restaurant was nice and clean and the service was good. We would go back should the opportunity arise.

Stopped here with the family on our way out to Denver. This will definitely become our go to stop anytime we are traveling through Omaha. There were too many amazing looking things on the menu, so I just got the special which was hot roast beef, dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. It was very very delicious. My wife loved the chicken tenders and my daughter slammed a pancake. Thanks to all at Shirley’s Diner for making us feel at home. Big shout out to our server Tammy, hope to see you on our way back.

I had no idea this place even existed until we were in Millard one day and looking for Breakfast/Brunch. We searched nearby places and found Shirley's Diner.

Right when we walked in, it was such a warm and welcoming energy. The place was packed with families, couples, and friends. We were seated pretty quickly!

I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was absolutely delicious! I love when chicken and waffles are a combo of spicy and sweet. I highly recommend trying!

If you're ever in Millard or looking for a new Breakfast place to try out in the Omaha area, you have to check this spot out!

I tried Shirley’s diner for the first time, and it was an interesting experience!

The hot Turkey with mashed potatoes was decent, but the sweet gravy wasn't my favorite.

Overall, I'd be open to going back and trying some new items on the menu.

Canteen Vending Services

The company I work for has been a client with them for years. When ordering my coffee or tea products they are always on time, the ordering process is easy. If I do talk to a customer rep they are super nice. BIG shout out to Ms. Suzie for making sure my tea and coffee was delivered on time. Canteen of Omaha is a Great choice for our business.

My son was hit by a driver on 09/25/2020
The driver ran stop sign totaled his car my son ended up in emergency that night it's now 09/29/2020 no one from insurance called to help us! I called 5 times they said Canteen has not reported this accident. The supervisor was very nice so I kept waiting for someone to reach us I asked for proof he reported it and the driver be tested he told me they cant send me proof now our lawyers will take over I can not believe this company would not report this accident. I will continue to update this google review as this company helps my son. I'm so upset. Who does this? My son was innocent driving home to be hit and now nothing from this company!

(At our location) we are visited at least twice a week by a vendor to refill the machines. The guy who fills them up has been very respectful & helpful. What I think would be a great idea would be some way to request certain items or types of items to be filled, as our machines sell out QUICKLY & I'm sure some things would be much more popular compared to the items that sit there forever.

This company is a big scam don't buy anything from there vending machine. They also taking from the poor

After installing new vending machines at my place of employment with those that take credit and debit cards, the price of the items inside increased from $0.85 to $1, presumably to defect the cost of the new technology, however now the machines charge $1.10 for debit and credit transactions, but only the advertised $1 when using cash. When the charges are disputed - because they aren't advertised ANYWHERE on the machine, no warning is given, etc, the company claims they are a financing charge for the "convenience" of using the debit/credit option.

What a load of crap.

Red Lobster

An older RL, a lot of the original decor is gone. Ultimate Shrimp is here. At 4:30 for an early dinner I expected faster service. The cheddar bay biscuits did not get their butter brushed on top and were a bit dry.  Needless to say I was not here for a biscuit.  The grilled shrimp always a favorite, the coconut shrimp are like dessert. Not a big fan of the tequila lime, the lime is too strong.

This was my very first time at Red Lobster! It was such a fantastic experience and the food was so good! Claudia, was our server and she was great! Served us everything, perfect, with all the extras…and made it special,  just for me. I can’t say, it wasn’t a perfect, date! Wow!!! Thank you, so much!! I absolutely loved it.. it was so cool…how she knew, I wanted to really have this experience, mean something…and I can’t express my gratitude, to this service…and restaurant, enough! Got the rest, we didn’t eat, to go, in a fancy way and even a little Red Lobster cracker! So much fun!

Mary was our delightful waitress.   Wonderful seasonal drink recommendation of snowglobe sangria.  Great drink and food.

Idk what was going on that night of the previous review but the biscuits are great! (not overly salty lol)
The Soy Salmon Bowl and the Bar Harbor are both amazing dishes I highly recommend either one!
My all-time favorite is the Salmon New Orleans with a side of broccoli! Absolutely perfect match made in heaven!

The wife and I hadn't been in years so I decided to go there on our mini-date.
Let me start by saying the lobster-loaded mashed potatoes, are amazing! Perfect rich buttery, creamy, hearty deliciousness!
The shrimp crab Rangoon sounds weird but, yes, please!
Coconut shrimp wasn't what I was expecting with the sauce being dippable and not cooked on, but this allowed for the shrimp to be crispy and still saucy!
I regret that I somehow forgot pictures of the crab legs. Sweet and mild, throw on some of butter-sauce and the flavor gets a nice depth.
Mac and Cheese,
It's got an awesome flavor and sauce but I wish they'd use noodles that held the sauce, you end up having to dunk the noodles right before you eat because the majority of it settles to the bottom of the bowl. On the plus side, this means the shrimp on the bottom marinates in the deliciousness.😋
Only complaint? Why do they salt TF out of the butter bay biscuits!? Like seriously, there's enough salt in one biscuit to kill a horse! Luckily that's easy to brush off the outside so I don't die if sodium overdose!
Overall great food and solid performance from the staff as well 5*!

Ordered curbside pickup at 4:30pm (hardly busy - restaurant was more than half empty). I used their service to confirm I had arrived, then sat outside waiting for more than 15 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. I finally got fed up and went inside, and they brought me my food bag (now lukewarm) without any apology or explanation.
