Ria's Restaurant & Lounge

My husband and I went for lunch and tried the buffet. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was polite and helpful with questions we had about the food and prices. We also talked with the owner and he explained some changes they were doing. He was very polite and easy to talk to. All around the place is one of the best in Jefferson City that we have ate at and we will definitely be going back!

Side note: I highly recommend their fried chicken and potatoes in a ranch sauce (don't know what it is called but it was delicious!)

Us coming from out of town and being here before knowing they had great food, we were excited but quickly disappointed since they’ve changed a lot about the place. They really try to talk you out of ordering off the menu saying it’s going to take a long time for food to come out and only accepting 2-3 people to order from the menu so they push eating food at the buffet while the buffet has only a couple options and the food isn’t kept warm. Our waitress was nice but not attentive. She left cups empty and hardly checked on us while walking quickly past our table multiple times. When we all were obviously finished eating and just sitting there talking she stopped coming by and left us wanting to eagerly get the checks and leave. Overall it was upsetting seeing how much has changed this restaurant and the amount they charge for a small buffet.

We had the buffet and everything on it was very good. All the food was hot and they kept all the items were kept stocked and we didn't have to wait on anything. Our server Mary was very nice and kept our drinks filled and used dishes cleared away.

My wife said the salad bar was good....but salad is pretty hard to get wrong. The stuffed bell pepper was pretty good.  The fried chicken was the best thing on the buffet. The waitress was attentive and very polite.

The scrambled eggs reminded me of the powdered eggs served in military chow halls.  The pizza was not very good either. The spaghetti and meatballs needed more seasoning. Mostly lack luster.

When we walked in there was a weird smell I could not place because the smell of the food.  On the way out I went to the bathroom and found out what the smell is.  There is some kind of sewer issue going on not just some dude having stomach issues but something in the lines bubbling back through or something.  Had I realized it upon entry we would have went someplace else to eat.

I came in after the remodel to give this place another chance. The place looks nice but the food is still completely subpar. The salad bar has hardly any veggies, the potatoes and chicken were overcooked and dry. The pizza as usual was decent. I was hoping for a better bar for 14.00. The waitress was nice.

Wiseguy Lounge - Mainstrasse

Absolutely loved my experience at this fantastic bar! The service was top-notch, and the drinks were simply divine. We stopped in after a company holiday party. We had a larger group and still received excellent service despite our size. Dan, Frank, and Chris were the real stars of the show, making our visit an absolute delight.

Their expertise in mixology was evident in every sip. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a creative, off-menu concoction, they nailed it every time. The attention to detail and the passion they put into crafting each drink was truly impressive. Plus, their friendly demeanor and willingness to engage with patrons made the whole experience even better.

I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a stellar drink experience coupled with exceptional service. Kudos to Dan, Frank, and Chris for making every visit memorable! If our travels take us back through the area we’ll definitely be back for more.

A cool spot to stop by before “walking” over to Ohio. We tried three drinks here - the regular old-fashioned (slightly disappointed), dirty smashed (recommended, refreshing), and broken hatchet (my favorite). The vibe here was a mix of a cigar lounge (no smoking tho), an old library, and a speakeasy. If you are hungry, you can order pizza from the shop down below.

We came here for drinks after a concert and as a mixologist myself, it is difficult to impress me. OUTSTANDING! These are artists! The flavor combinations, the smoke, the presentations I would definitely recommend a visit. Their signature cocktails were a huge hot, so I have no doubt that the classics are done right! Try these if they are still on the menu when you visit.

I have been going to Wiseguy's in Covington & OTR for years and love the vibe, bartenders and cocktails.  For the second weekend in a row, the bartenders (one way more than the other) have been extremely rude when you don't choose to order one of their seasonal cocktails.  I appreciate that they point out the seasonal cocktails that they have spent time crafting, but don't make me feel bad when I decide to have something else or in the case of last weekend when I chose one from a bartender that wasn't working.  My out of town guests couldn't believe their childish behavior.  Also when I ask for a water with my drink, don't act like you are doing me a favor.

Large selection of drinks and a nice atmosphere to sit back, relax, and have a drink. Highly recommend.

School of Rock

Our teenage daughter has thrived here for a couple of years now. In a town that has a heavy focus on sports for the kids to make friends SoR has created an amazing alternate community for kids to get together and socialize and make new friends in a welcoming and productive environment. Great life skills, amazing shows and just a lovely group of people. Cant recommend it enough.

THis school is amazing!We travel to see them perform! The kids have become fantastic musicians and we look forward to every show! ROCK ON!

Great school with amazing instructors. The performances that the kids get to put on are always fun and you get a chance to see them perform and grow on stage in an actual show!! Highly recommend!

Great shows - love them all! Our daughter loves being in the band and now our son wants to join too!

Terrible school. The teachers are young teenagers - individuals who cannot pay proper attention to teach a lesson for 30 minutes. They consistently walk in and out and talk to their friends during a 30-minute private lesson.

Excellent Happy Hour!
My husband and I were looking for something to eat and to have a drink. I’m so glad we found this place! The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The happy hour prices for drinks cannot be beaten! We loved the blueberry margarita!

The Customer Experience was amazing, Very nice workers and staff, To be Honest My Group only had the drinks, and they were extremely Tasty During the Bayou Classic Weekend

The art work in here is so cool! Love the vibe. The cocktails are carefully curated. My husband got the Blood and Smoke, and I got the Vieux Carre. His was great. Mine was so so.

There is definitely a reason this is on the best happy hours list.  The atmosphere was amazing, very plush and stylish. Everyone there was great and we all loved the food. For the first round we went with specialty cocktails and I had the Dante which I highly recommend.

We noticed the bartender struggled a bit to keep up with the specialty cocktails, with a large group which is the only reason service got a 4 and not a 5.  We switched to wine and champagne and after the first round.

Definitely  worth a shot if you're downtown and looking to keep out of the 5pm traffic or a place to meet after work.

Everything was wonderful here, at this woman and black owned lounge. Food was great, cocktails were tasty and the ambiance was wonderful.  They also do live music! Will be back.

The Montana Club Restaurant

Delicious steak, burger and appetizer. Everything we had was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our server was right on top of things the whole meal.

Excellent!   We loved this steakhouse.  I had the king cut (20-22oz) prime rib prepared rare, and my husband had the bison ribeye, rare.   Both were cooked perfectly and absolutely wonderful.  The loaded baked potatoes were fluffy and delicious.  The drinks were great.  The Reese's chocolate mousse cake was rich and delicious.   We arrived about 9:30pm on a Saturday night and had no problem getting a seat.  Service was very fast.   Our waitress was very attentive and efficient.

We had a bad experience tonight.  We waited over an hour for our food.  When it arrived  my burger was burned, we are talking black and so was the bun bith sides. I sent it back and told the waiter, no need to replace as we had already waited so long.  They brought a new one still burnt and charged us.  Do better people, just do better.

Drinks and apps were good. For the price, the filet mignon and salmon needed to be a lot better. Filet had hardly any flavor and barely any huckleberry sauce. Salmon was dry and tasteless.

Very good food and great customer service! They were short staffed at the time but still made up for it with good and kind service that accommodated our group. They always made sure to check in and see if we needed anything multiple times throughout our meal. The burgers are great! I definitely recommend any off of the menu, and prices are also good for what you get. If you ever see a Montana club and are really hungry, I definitely recommend it for a good, large, portioned American meal!

Hooters Restaurant of Las Vegas

This was a good find. I was happy to hit up.  Obviously, the girls are pretty.   The food and drinks were great and more reasonably price Chey was out waitress and was delightful and cheerful.   Would go back again for sure.

I was so looking forward to going to this restaurant but what a disappointment. It was quite quiet when we visited. They left us standing by the door for quite a while. Showed us to a table and then took an age to take our orders (party of 9). When the food arrived it was dry and all you could taste was salt. When we needed to pay, not wanted to pay, we had to go looking for a waitress to take our cash. If you want a good time with good food then I'd find somewhere else. They can have the 1 star rating for the beer.

I haven't had Hooters in a while, but this location has got to be the worst.  Our server was nice, but she forgot the curly fries that we ordered. When we asked her on the status, she said no, we didn't order. We said ok but clearly my friends and I all heard that we ordered it.

They have a late night menu, so we ordered the 10 piece naked chicken wings. It was not sauced well, so we asked for more medium sauce.
The wings were good-sized, but it also wasn't crispy.

Meh, I won't come back here again.

Short wait time, quick service, terrible food..my first time at Hooters, wasn't impressed at all. I ordered the BYOB burger, came dry with no mayo or mustard. Was told it comes on the side but I actually had to ask for it and the lady brought me packets of condiments..fries were undercooked and hard. Even the guy's food across the table looked dry as the desert. Guess I'll find food elsewhere, hopefully. It's Vegas, not a lot of options nearby..

Worst meal in Vegas!  Ordered a Buffalo Slider for takeout.  Once opened I realized that the chicken had not been "buffaloed" and there were only 2 with the other 2 sliders being half cooked burger sliders.  All 4 were dry (no sauces or pickle as described on the menu) Terrible and definitely not worth the $20 I paid.

Stuart's Smokehouse & Seafood

Visited Stuart's Smokehouse on New Years Eve. There was an entry fee of 10 dollars per person. I didn't ask if that was common or only for the holiday. The food was decent. My SO and I got the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Fries were a separate charge.

There were quite a few regular patrons and a lack of waitresses so it was a longer visit than expected.

Finally, we get to the atmosphere. It was welcoming and everyone was polite. Definitely a unique West Virginian experience.

I love the atmosphere of this place.  It's rustic and basic but a gem perched above the Greenbrier River.  There was a staffing issue the day we went and our server was running ragged and stressed.  Common occurrence everywhere these days though.  I'm concerned about the future of this restaurant due to some rumors I heard about it possibly going up for sale.  I'm not sure if it would retain its backwoods charm if Mr. Brugh wasn't managing it.

Me and some family didn’t have the greatest time. We have been here before and it was great, but this time it wasn’t good. Maybe they were wore out today.. but first thing I noticed was the table still had quiet a bit crumbs left on it. Ok, well we brushed them off. Waited an hour for the seafood boil and a grilled chicken sandwich. Another family had mentioned they waited two hours, a waitress had to re-take their orders. Once our food arrived, I ate half of my chicken sandwich before noticing the piece on top was a bit pink. Our Mr Pibbs tasted incredibly flat. It also looked like the place needed a decent cleaning, there was a bunch of dust everywhere. Not trying to be mean or anything… just hope things get better again.

We went here with high hopes.  Drove over 1 1/2 hrs for my birthday dinner. Let me start by saying my boyfriend liked his food. We were told they didn't have Brisket, Bone In Chicken Wings or Crab Dip. He thought the pulled pork was good along with the French fries. Portion size was good. I however was disappointed in my meal. I ordered a steam pot with Crab legs and shrimp. It was to come with potatoes and corn. The Crab legs were good. The shrimp over cooked. The potatoes were not the usual boiled salt potato or little round potatoes but deep fried chunks of potato.  This for me was disappointing. We did order dessert which was listed as Deep Fried Cheesecake. Presentation was good but when we cut into it, it had a brown colored cream which when we asked about it, we were told it was some type of banana filling. They said they weren't sure because they are bought that way frozen.  I have 2 suggestions. The 1st - Use salt potatoes or little round potatoes in your steam pots and either replace the deep fried cheesecake with real cheesecake, or let people know its not just cheesecake. The river in the back was nice to watch and there are railroad tracks which we happen to watch a train go by.

I wish I could rate this place zero stars.
We shoulda known better from the reviews.
But we do like to give these little local places a chance... so, jokes on us this time!
Our order consisted of a steam pot, fried shrimp & crab cakes. Let's begin with the pot, shall we! My family ate the crab leg- literally one. The shrimp was cold as could be and gross, the corn was disgusting and freezer burnt, and the potatoes were fried! In a boil! Strange, right! Thankful so, because they were edible.
Crab cakes were burnt to a f'n crisp! See photo! They might could have been decent if it wasn't for that.
Now the fried "shrimp!!!" I cannot remember how many came on the plate, maybe 6-8... they were butterflied. And the absolute worse things I've ever put in my mouth! I can't even describe them for you! You couldn't even bite em! That's one in the photo after I tried to find the shrimp with a fork (plastic silverware and paper plates, I may add!). I just don't want to say anymore about the food... it looks like this place is popular for hot dogs so maybe that's what we should've ordered. They need to STAY AWAY FROM SEAFOOD. And you need to STAY AWAY FROM HERE IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT!
When we started our order and asked about the special (all-you-can-eat oysters) we were told the cook would be happy we didn't order those cause they didn't want to cook more! Our waitress was nice and we did tip her well... I can't say she was efficient or entirely alert, but she was kind.
Needless to say we paid $60 to eat cereal in our hotel room later!
The next day we happened to run into the other family eating near us that night and they had a very similar experience... it wasn't just our taste... it's this Godawful food.

Hotel Azul Talavera Country Club

This is a very nice hotel but the staff are just amazing. We stayed here during the 2024 solar eclipse with a large tour group. It is difficult to handle the sudden arrival of a large group but the staff were so helpful and they could serve a large group in the restaurant. The rooms, the little nice things they provided, the amazing staff, they deserve 5 stars.

Our room was gorgeous and the staff was fantastic. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was great.

Great hotel! the rooms are pretty nice, their service and food is also amazing. The place is really beautiful in very nice golf course.

The sales manager is a disgusting person. I have a bad experience with her. Absolutely I don't recommend this place NEVER!

This is a nice place to stay that is located in a good location for easy access to the industrial area as well as the city.  The staff will do anything they can to help you  have an enjoyable stay.

VIP Lounge Mexicali Airport

I’m not sure on the services, I didn’t go here, I walked through the front door it looked like it costed $600 pesos and my flight was only an hour away, this was also through security, I am a smoker so I didn’t want to go back and forth through security, the place appears to be comfortable and more relaxed, the airport is actually not bad, I like the smaller airports, it was very interesting experience overall, Mexico does things a bit differently than in the states, I actually like the less restrictive places,

The first lounge that made me download the app (forcing personal information collection) for entry.  Not cool.  I hope to never come here again.

Very small lounge. Limited food and drinks but it beats being outside.

The place just opened, but the employees are great and helpful. The burritos were pretty good too.

VIP Lounge

Went there past midnight and it was nice that they still had hot food available. Yes, it wasn't the best lounge food but at least they had something. The servers were attentive and very courteous. However, when the lounge gets busier service is quite slow from past experience.

Very large lounge. Nice and modern. Very comfortable chairs and outlets everywhere and free wi-fi. We were here early in the morning, so they had a breakfast bar with eggs, salsa chips, and beans. Of course, there's the alcohol bar, and then they also had Apple orange and pineapple juice. There's a separate kids play area for smaller kids which is pretty nice several little cutouts rooms where people can sit and visit comfortable couches full wall of windows so you can see the airplanes at the airport taxi in and out.. can you posted hours for 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. waitress service is also available to bring a coffee or anything you need

Correct place to rest, waiting for your fly. Nice food, excelent service.

The food choices were a tuna fish or ham sandwich. It was ok but not worth the effort flagging down a waiter and waiting 5-10 minutes. On the plus side the lounge was clean and comfortable. It is also located close to the gates.

I feel like this is a nicer lounge that I have been to. The food usually tastes good and I don't have complaints about it. Sadly, the past 3 times I have been here no one has come up to me and offered a beverage or a meal. They attend clients out of order and it hasn't improved over the time.
