My hungry friends and I stumbled upon this place for brunch after another place we tried going to had a 2+ hour wait. This was a hidden gem and we couldn’t have been happier to eat here! The decor was super cute and the glassware and dishes were very aesthetic. My partner and I ordered the frenchie toast and the birria chilaquiles, both were delicious. The service was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend, we left very satisfied and happy!

Booked a stay for valentines weekend and could not be happier with the experience so far.
The places is family owned and operated and by that I mean "they actually host, serve, etc."
They are Extremely nice and helpful,  they treat you like family and make you feel welcome and taken care of. The food was amazing, oysters and bluefin tuna so fresh that you can taste it.
Great drinks, cozy private patio and fireplace to gaze at the stars at night.

Great location, unique decor and the service was exceptional. Perla was a fantastic host.
We will be back.

Really nice hotel. Is definitely not for everyone but it is amazing. Our room was just huge. It was like a loft style house. Kitchen, BBQ area, hammock. It could easily have fitted six people. Right in the vineyards. The decorations are all antiques arranged in a psychodelic style. A place to have some serious fun.

It’s a beautiful place to stay.  The hosts are lovely and welcoming.  Very creatively decorated and comfortable to stay.  Can’t say anything but great things about my stay other then I wish we could have stayed longer!

The Pearl Laguna

I recently spent a week at The Pearl Laguna.  I was blown away. It went way beyond my expectations. The food was superb, the staff was exceptional.  My every need was met and then some.  I was totally pampered.
They also challenged my fitness level but I saw amazing results.  The guides were very accommodating.  They tailored my hikes to my limited ability and skill, but they wouldn’t let me opt out.  To my surprise, I could do it!  And felt better for it.
Same with yoga.  It was new to me, but the instructors were extremely patient.
Maybe it was the combination of massages, hot tubs and saunas, but I was never sore or achy.  Or perhaps I can attribute it to the pampering I got while I was there.
The whole atmosphere was one of warmth, welcome and serenity. There were fresh flowers everywhere.  No detail was missed.  From the cucumber slices for your eyes as you had a sauna to the beautiful way the table was set for your meals.
I feel stronger both physically and emotionally since my time at the Pearl.  I left feeling calm and peaceful and that feeling has lasted.  I would not hesitate to go back.

I just returned from my third visit to The Pearl and am grateful to Geo, Katresha and the entire staff for my transformative week.

What a week: great hiking, power and restorative yoga, daily massages, delicious organic food and drinks, and the time to reflect and reset one’s mind, spirit and body.

I left The Pearl not only mentally rejuvenated but physically much stronger and on a true high from the positive energy of everyone I met.

Yoga with Geo and Katresha would be enough to bring me to the Pearl. The yoga practice is mine to take with me wherever I go, and the confidence that I can heal and strengthen my body is priceless.  Thank you both for an amazing week of hiking, yoga, yummy organic food, and so much more.  It was the reset and the re-centering I so needed.  Thank you to all for the most amazing energy and the transformative wellness program I have ever experienced!

And unbelievable experience. Great for the mind body and soul. Yoga, hiking, and a beautiful, almost vegan diet. all of this is accomplished with great thoughtfulness and style. Healthy and chic… What a fabulous combination.

The Pearl is a truly magical place. After multiple joint replacements, the staff at the Pearl helped me recover and rebuild. I felt stronger than ever after one week. Geo and Katresha took great care of me and all their guests.

Hotel Boutique Kpricho

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary back in October. Everything about our stay was perfect. The owners are so hospitable, kind, and helpful. The property is very nice and the rooms are beautifully designed with a private deck to sit and have some morning coffee or afternoon wine. Hotel Kpricho is close to some of the best wineries and restaurants. We plan to stay here for the rest of our trips down to Valle de Guadalupe!

I absolutely loved our stay at Kpricho! Our room (Fuego) had a great view and enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning directly from bed. The room and common area were neatly kept and clean. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. The hotel and parking was very secure. This is a place I would come back to.

Also, I reached out to hotel prior to our stay to ask if they could recommend a private driver to drive us from winery to winery one of the days and they connected us with one. Their son Emilio was our driver and he was great.

The rooms are beautiful inside and out. Rustic but very modern and clean. The owners, Manuel and Betty are amazing hosts. We will definitely go back soon

Excellent choice when staying in Valle de Guadalupe. Super clean, very quiet, felt safe and amazing views. Accommodations were new and very functional. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Would stay here again, highly recommended 😊.

Pretty cool place in the middle of Valle de Guadalupe wine country. Very nice, upscale nestled among rugged roads and vineyards. Walk to Relieve winery to pick up some exvellent wine. Highly recommend this adventure.

Viñas del Castillo Hotel Boutique & Vinícola

Please don't rely on "breakfast included" it's instant coffee , with substandard bread . As we were leaving ignoring all this ,the owner lady showed up asked someone to quickly prepare some assorted fruit plate for us which took forever . 2 stars only for the location and room views

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful and relaxing

One important comment, they need to light up the entrance at night. Too dark when getting off the road, with speeding cars coming behind you.

Otherwise, place is excellent and comfortable. Great customer service, very polite.

Great place to stay at when visiting Ensenada, only a 15 min ride into the center of Ensenada. Great places to eat nearby like breakfast at Huevos Republic and dinner at Ochentos Pizza. Great view from Room 1.

Cool place just come on in owner is hella cool.

I loved the climate, the service is very good, the comfortable beds, I slept very comfortably. A place to enjoy a spectacular weekend and go for a walk around it, very clean. Congratulations to the hotel administrators. I'll be back another weekend.

Casa Adelina Hotel Boutique

I know I'm going to loose the secrecy of this hidden gem of lodging in Ensenada to quality-yearning travelers out there! Quaint-looking & sparkling white edifice outside, you'll be surprised how nicely arranged the furnitures inside! All American standards features meticulously installed, you'll ask yourself why so. I happened to speak to the Owner, - "so my Guests will come back!" After staying for 9-nights, I'll definitely come back. The hotel location is centered, you don't need Ride-Hail service. Very quiet and safe location, the Casa have security staff after the Cafe closes at 11PM. The free-breakfast included is so sumptuous, you'd thought your Mum went with your trip! All in all, Casa Adelina is my home away from home, Y Mas!

If you wantto experience what a real home is like BOOK a Weekend here, near all in Ensenada, met with the owner, he has spent a lot of money to keep the home updated, his family has owned this property for over 90 years, STAY HERE!

Bonita (historic) casa en Ensenada; muy romantico e perfecto por mi amor's 30th complianos. Clean, cozy, and relaxing! The Cafe next door was lovely with great music and food. We will absolutely come back again.

Worth booking! I originally thought I wanted to be close to be close to the ocean in ensenada, but I read so many night mare reviews of unkempt rooms and smells. Villa del adelina was so clean, very comfortable and the free breakfast was amazing. We stayed in a king suite called the daisy room. Must book the room online and the doors are all keyless code entry. We walked in and were able to connect to their wifi to make the reservation online. They offer 2 parking spots that are behind a locked gate or plenty of street parking. We walked to an adorable pizza place a couple of blocks away called tanto Santo. There was an ice cream shop near there too called Limon Limon.

Excellent place to have a coffee and a pastry. The service is great and the guys that take care of your order are really kind and friendly. The food is great, the desserts and the drinks also; the sangria is great.

Hotel Boutique Los Viñedos

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boutique Los Viñedos. We stopped by while riding the Baja Divide. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The views of the mountains are beautiful. The hosts are exceptionally gracious. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

my wife and I spend some quality time. since we made our reservation with Enrique and Anita they were very helpful ,easy to   communicate with ,when we got there the rooms are great very clean and awesome environment we felt like family above and beyond to warranty are time was pleasant we recommend to stay here  is a solid 5 star safe and secure Enrique and Anita are very Kind .

Enrique and Anita were the most gracious hosts, we were so grateful to be able to camp on their covered patio on our Baja Divide journey. The view was amazing and location was great, just down the road from the shop. Enrique was also very willing to answer our questions about the area and he even drove us to the local hot springs! Would highly recommend!

Doing the baja divide with my partner and arrived in town late; a few locals flagged us down and brought us here and I’m glad they did! Affordable camping with bathrooms, we splurged for the private room and glad we did for the hot showers alone. Bed was super comfy, and our host even brought in a heater for us. Extremely welcoming to riders. Thanks for hosting us!

I stayed at the hotel whilst traveling Baja on my bike. I was greeted with warmth, generosity and kindness. The rooms are beautiful and feel very luxurious, there is a nice safe and quiet camping area and there are panoramic Mountain View’s. Definitely worth a stop if passing through!

Casa Playa Baja Resort

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The safety and security within the gated property was top-notch and the wifi was super fast. Staying in a fully furnished villa made us feel right at home. We were overjoyed by the outstanding service provided by the friendliest staff we've ever encountered. The added luxury of the pool and jacuzzi, combined with a breathtaking ocean view, made the entire experience truly unforgettable. Strongly recommending it to everyone for an amazing experience!🇲🇽🥳💯

The place looks like paradise. I loved it! Mostly because of the beautiful oceanfront view. Besides that everything else was amazing such as clean rooms & area, good service, etc. I highly recommend anyone to rent there.

I went here with my family and friends and This was the worst thing I have ever experienced. First of all we had roommates. And by that I mean cockroaches, rats, and centipedes. Not only that but everything was mangled and damaged not excluding the pool and hot tub. Also the area around the place was filled with crime and my brother was mugged by the police! Not only that but the $100 transportation for us to get around and supposedly fit all fourteen of us but actually there was no seatbelts, a fuel exhaust leak and only sat seven but two seats were broken and fell back when accelerating. The only upsides of this place was two people who worked there named Olga and Erma who cooked great food and also were super kind and understanding. My heart goes out to those two. When we brought the complaints to the manager he just gave us a shrug. We left after three out of the six days we were supposed to be there because it was so bad. Absolutely disgusting avoid at all costs.

Great view beach front houses there are many choices for big families and for couples nice to have romantic memories in San Valentín we were celebrating our anniversary with the wonderful view of the sunset in casa mar verde imposible to get a better view just in front of the beach full equipment an we had a excellent price because we decided to stay a couple of days more .
There a big houses for made corporate reunions and family celebrations married beach view so romantic.
Very good prices when you made your reservations weeks or months in advance.
Casa playa Baja became our favourite place just to escape some weekends a located just a few minutes from Puerto Nuevo where you can eat excellent seafood food specially lobsters for very affordable price.
We have great weekends for just a little budget
I definitely recommend this place.

Additional update: As you can see below, the owners are lying and saying I left because I'm "wanted by the police". This is complete nonsense, and a good demonstration of their absurd dishonesty. We left early because the "resort" is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE.

UPDATE: Adding some photos as the owners practice seems to be to reply to negative reviews by lying and saying the reviewer did not actually stay there. The shot of the sewer pipe leaking out onto the beach should be especially noted.

Absolutely disgusting, and not at all as advertised. Mold on the glasses, actual maggots in the dishwasher, and rats running around in the rooms! None of this is exaggeration, sadly.

We booked this place for a week with a large party (14 people, 8 adults 6 kids) for a week, and arrived to find nothing was as expected. A room with one bed had been sold to us as "two bedrooms", the staff were unprepared to deal with us and cook meals (one of the many things we had "arranged" that did not materialize), and the manager, Dave, is completely incompetent and useless. The pool was gross, the bottom being completely broken up and half the tiles missing, and there are bugs everywhere. Access to the beach is through an unfinished construction site with exposed rebar, mud, and sharp edges everywhere (not safe for children!).

One of the services advertised is "van y driver", and considering how isolated this location ends up being without your own cars we thought this would be quite helpful... but "van y driver" turns out to be a very beat-up and absolutely filthy old Ford Explorer without seatbelts (also an exhaust leak you could smell in the car), and a driver who spoke broken English who didn't know where he was going.  All this for $100 to carry us ten miles up the road to Rosarito!

And don't worry, the location makes you feel extra unsafe at all points-- you can't walk anywhere for fear of being killed by drivers on the roads with no sidewalks, and we were repeatedly warned about crime being rampant. The only crime we encountered, though, was getting shaken down by the police for bribes ($225, cash only, no receipt).

Some of the staff--  the two ladies responsible for cooking, Olga and Erma, in particular-- seem to be hard-working and trying to make the best of it but this place is simply a disaster. When we complained to the manager we got little more than a shrug. But, I give it two stars instead of one (or zero if I could in other categories) thanks to Olga and Erma's cooking and nice attitude.

Absolutely avoid, this place is awful.

Casa Playa Baja

Casa Playa resort was a great place to stumble across while in Mexico. The facility offers everything on one safe, secure and private location. They even had a private beach for sunset walks. Close to plenty of great restaurants, taco stands, and a weekend outdoor markets. Baja Pig was the overall favorite. Great place to stay with a help staff available 24/7. We look forward to our return. Special thanks to Ulga and her amazing home cooked meals. Casa Playa was everything we hoped and more.

We arrived late in the evening without a reservation which could have been a nightmare. Thankfully Casa Playa had a room available and were kind enough to book us in after 11pm. Not until the next morning did we realized what a beautiful place we’d stumbled upon. Beautiful rooms, convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. Definitely had the small town feel we were looking for. If you’re looking for a quiet place to regroup and unwind. This is the place. Hard to find all these amenities in an authentic style resort that actually feels like you’re in Mexico and not staying in a remodeled hospital. Strong recommend!

Thanks for another wonderful weekend relaxing on your wonderful property. The private beach, pool, and hot tub overlooking the ocean clearly separates Casa Playa from the rest of the hotels that feel like you never left the US. The staff was wonderful and always available to fulfill your needs. Small town feel with ends ways to stay entertained. This is the only place we stay while in Mexico and you’ll soon know why. Your hospitality is unmatched!

My wife Kathryn & I and our beloved dog Molly were truly at home staying 3 months in the penthouse suite at Casa Playa Baja Resort. We were made to feel so very welcome, Dave and his wonderful team of staff were accommodating and helpful. Olga served us some amazing dinners including octopus fresh from Popotla and Hector makes the best margaritas ever! Our dog Molly was treated with love and we felt very safe at all times. During the week we found it a quiet place to work with great wifi and beautiful beachwalks and sunsets. On the weekend we'd light a fire, have a bbq and make friends with the new folks that arrived. Staying at Casa Playa Baja has been a beautiful chapter of our lives that we will remember fondly and hope to return one day soon. We highly recommend and promise to tell all our friends xxx
