We had an excellent experience at Aubuchons.  The salesperson was extremely helpful with our purchase and helped us get our 20% discount which we had trouble with online.  Very happy with them.

Our neighborhood store is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are well informed and always glad to help if you have any questions. The cats are simply adorable. You come for merchandise and stay for the kitties 🐱 .

Excellent transaction. I’ve shopped here for decades and they are located in my neighborhood.  The staff is wonderful and always bring the heavy stuff to my car. 5 stars!

This is my favorite Aubuchon hardware followed by Gardner and Lunenburg.. then Clinton is a distant third I try to avoid that one.

Immediately suspected when looking around with 10 minutes to spare with my laptop on the back. Asked to leave, instead of asked what I need… sweet team.
Will go to Home Depot/Lowes where I can carry my valuables.

Superior technical knowledge, not really caring about customers though

Terrible customer service. Went up to the older tall guy with glasses and potbelly and said “excuse me “ as I needed help locating an item. He snapped at me “What!” So I asked him where the item was that I was looking for. “It’s over there!” in a very rude way. I absolutely will not patronize a business that treats its customers like that. Will not go purchase one more item from that place.

I had a window that was stuck open. I came in for WD40 and within 3 minutes, I was helped to find a better product, checked out at the register and on my way out the door. And, as a plus, it worked! Really great service. Thank you!

Bluefin Locksmith And Garage Door Services

Cannot say enough about this company. They came quickly after they were called. Dave, the technician was professional and quick. Would definitely recommended anyone that asks.

I have been very pleased with their products and services. They let me into
my vacation house when I was locked out and came right away. They gave me a good keypad where I can change the combination anytime from anywhere. And today I forgot the key that locked my trailer and boat to the car and they came right away and removed it. They were very friendly every time too. Highly recommended!

Excellent service. They responded immediately, came out to my home within 30 minutes and resolved the issue in 10 minutes. I hope I don’t have to use a locksmith anytime again soon but if so, I would use Bluefin in a heartbeat.

Called for help on Sunday and they came right out on Monday and exactly when they said. I was in a big dilemma and they were certain they could help. They did the job in a quick 20 min and I was off with my new car keys. Very reasonably priced too. Will use them again!!

We had a lost car key situation while on vacation which is a high-stress, major emergency, made worse when it happens away from home. We called Bluefin and from the start they were very quick to take our info and schedule a key replacement. They drove out to our car and cut a replacement key and recoded the remote on-site, within a half hour of arrival. Very professional and great communication every step of the way, highly recommended!

E.L. Spear Inc. Lumber and Hardware

I've been buying paint for our house remodel at E L Spear and I was thrilled Alex could make farrow and Ball colors. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I also got a few bags of manure and I'm sure my plants will be happy. Oh yea and glass for our window rehab. I look forward to shopping at this store!

Just had to leave a review. Made online purchase and it was ready to pick up in literally about 5 minutes, was waiting for me, ready to go. Friendly service. They seem to be able to keep stuff in stock, too, and have a good selection in general. Good pricing on most items.
The only thing I would change is to extend the open hours, as I often have trouble getting there before they close, but I won't dock any stars for that.

Great locally owned hardware store.carry twice the selection as big box stores. All the lumber is top notch quality no need to pick through 50 boards for good ones.
If you need any fastener at all hex ,grade 8, metric they have it ! and the employees know where everything is !!!!!
Needed new blade on an old mower 20" Lowes was out but E.L. Spear (Ace hardware ) had it !

My wife and I have been shopping at Spears since we moved to Maine four years ago. They are the best! The service and their knowledge has helped with several home improvement projects. They deliver to our home, their prices are very fair and it’s so nice to be greeted with a friendly welcome. They beat the box stores by a mile!!!

Always friendly and helpful service, decent prices, and they deliver!  I'm always surprised to find the prices are competitive with the big box stores. The folks at Spear's, especially Chris or Lincoln or Spencer, are always friendly, and I'm grateful.  Need to understand how something works, what the best tool for a task is?  Just ask.  Need something ordered, loaded into your car, or delivered?  This is the place.

It's worth mention that Spears' prices are competitive with Lowe's and the Depot.  A twitch higher but the quality of the word and lumber is much better.

Batteries Plus

Never buy a battery from these people they will use whatever means necessary to escape out of a warranty when it's obviously a faulty battery So unless you want to just waste $200 on a battery that shall have a 2 year warranty Do not buy your battery from this company  I Purchase my battery in April it is December they did a cold cranking amp load test and the battery does not perform the load test obviously  It is a faulty battery Which they are not going to warranty if I could give them 0 stars I would.bought a battery for my car I'm April. winter rolls around and it's not starting my car very well until it just doesn't want to start it even after I charge it. so I take the battery out of my car replace it with a different t car battery . wow noticeable difference.  so I take the battery in the be checked. didn't carge it, didn't warm it up figured I'd drop it off they can charge it , let it warm up and perform a load test. battery fails the load test they say so I say alright can you warranty it. they say no because it was below 10 volts @ 8volts and frozen. okay 1st  this is alaska its freezing in December 2nd I had just finished trying again to start my car so of course the volts were down. even after explaining they refuse to warranty the battery, wow just blown away. good job batteries plus bulbs you may have scammed this resident out of a couple hundred bucks and sold a faulty battery but I will never spend another penny in your store and I will be sure to mention this at gatherings to try bring local awareness of your shady  business practices . just think warranty the bad product send it to Duracell  they give you new one you then have provided Excellent customer service.  SMH at this company.

In response to the owners response  Claiming to call the store to speak with the manager that they actually care about customer service. So I did just that today l called and asked to speak to manager. Explained the situation and basically was repeated back the same dodgy solution to not use the warranty on battery so this response from the owner saying please contact the store we care about customer service is a flat out lie.  Not only is it a lie but it is additional wasted time and energy from the customer. so not have you only screwed me out of my money and battery but now you are wasting my time  Claiming that you care and to resolve something. this is unacceptable on so many levels I will next go to Yelp any other website I can find as well as continue to let people know that battery's plus is a shady store and that Walmart, auto zone
, orieleys  Is anywhere but  Batteries Plus. Get this so I even ask the guy and says she's a manager Hey so you're telling me that had I brought my battery inside my house again let it warm up again charge it up again Is brought the battery  in fully charged and then if at that point it failed the load test It would be covered under warranty? He claims yes it would be Unfreaking believable I don't eveno how that would be OK like had I taken the time but it warm up on my own charge it myself and then brought it to you you could warranty it.  They also claim that any battery that falls below 12.1 V will freeze just like tap water The b*******  I'm going to pick up my battery I'll leave my number for the owner to call me if he would like to resolve this there is still an opportunity to turn it around and actually have this review expressly show the customer service does matter

Poor Customer Service. Has Appt to replace cell phone battery 🔋. Arrived on time, 2 emplpyees in store. Was told not enough available staff to replace battery. No customer in store at the time. Told its takes 1/2 hour to chg battery.
Told employees in no rush, chg battery between arriving customers. They refused.

Used to be a good place for batteries and other electronics, but staff turnover has led to poor service and knowledge. I will shop elsewhere in the future.

stopped in with my old 1965 harley battery. non available till two days later, stop in any time after that. I did. did not ship in due to holiday. even after they said that it would be there. my old battery? gone ship out. theses folks don't have there act together. go to napa or O'Reilly. they are truthful and you'll save the gas driving in on broken promises. The prices, location, and store management are impeccable.  Will, the Wasilla Store manager, is very intelligent, caring, and has a keen awareness of the entire store.  All of the Wasilla store employees operate as one cohesive collective with a customer-oriented perspective.  The management style is impressive as all the store employees show a deep respect for each other.   I've purchased two batteries at this store for my personal vehicles, as well as two deep-cycle batteries for an electric train engine at a railroad museum I'm at.  I've highly recommend Batteries + to friends and employer.

Had my phone fixed here due to a broken screen, when it was picked up they said since it was bowed it might have an easier time cracking. What they didn't say until I called and confronted them is that they couldn't keep the screen from pealing off right after. They said on the phone they could see issues happening before fixing it and instead of calling and being honest they cracked the body of my phone and won't try and get the screen to stay on. Don't go here. It's a scam.

Ordered two AGM RV batteries on-line and collected from store. Good price, good communication, quick and easy collection process.

I was not able to find the camera battery I wanted, but the staff was very helpful and I could have had one ordered, but would have been too late for what I needed it for.  If there is any battery need I may have in the future, this will be my first stop.

Website said they were open on labor day, even let me book an appointment. Rolled up to a sign on the door saying they were closed

Have had 3 or 4 phone screens replaced here over the years, and they have always been quick and friendly! I had never scheduled an appointment before today, but I was impressed! They had the screen waiting with my paperwork to sign, assessed the phone speedily, and while they originally quoted me ~1 hour for the repair, they were done in under 40 minutes!

Would give it negative if I could. Bought a battery back in September. The battery failed last week. After getting it replaced I took the faulty battery back to get a refund since it's under a FULL WARRANTY. They refused to return it blaming my vehicle for it being faulty. Their response was argue with management on Tuesday. Plan on it. Hopefully it's someone who's knows what they are doing.

Batteries Plus has an amazing assortment of batteries from automotive to laptops and other devices. I have made several purchases from this Anchorage location and service has always been terrific. I have used their online order and pickup as well as online order and delivery. On my most recent order, I had to change the order from pickup to delivery to the Kenai Peninsula. Amanda was amazing in taking care of the change and kept me updated on the shipping. I highly recommend Batteries Plus!

Had a very unprofessional not very friendly experience. today.  I wish I had gotten the employees name. I have gotten batteries for my ATV here in the past. I needed one for my snow/blower mount. I said it was a smaller 12v garden/lawn battery. He proceeded to ask me questions that I did not know the answer to right away. I asked if he could help me look it up? He said no, " we don't have google here". I asked if he was familiar with what batteries might go on an ATV,  he said, " no I don't know that." I began to look it up on my phone and prepare to show him. He had walked away. I was surprised by the lack of helpfulness and support. I will not go there again.  I went to Auto Zone, they were helpful and nice. Knew exactly what I needed.

They will scam your money out of you with installation costs..  Stopped to get a battery replacement for my key fob.  Guy with braided beard will ask if he can help and just start replacing the battery without telling you he's going to add a $15 installation charge for something that takes me 1 minute and 45 seconds.  Most places the installation is free for something this quick, but either way, he should've told me he was about to charge $15 for installation or ask me if I'd like to do it myself.  He's basically scamming people out of money by not giving us option and costs involved.
