Only had 2 checkers, 20+ people in line waiting to check out... 4+ supervisors watching the self checkout line, Sam Walton would be ashamed of the customer experience @Walmart

Strategically located so people in the nearby counties can shop without messing with traffic and crime. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

Pretty well stocked and VERY friendly door person. Very satisfied with this location. 👍

It's on the smaller size of Walmarts but it's always clean and organized. I've always found employees courteous and professional.

During busy times there will be a long wait to checkout as they rarely have enough registers open. Be prepared to wait or use self checkout.

Pride Ag Resources Ace Hardware

The associates are very helpful.  I ended up buying 1 bolt and realized I didn't have any money; the checker pulled money from the spare change cup to pay fory bolt.  I was very grateful and returned later to replenish the spare change cup.  I have always gotten excellent service here. Thanks

My favorite hardware store. I've been frequenting this place for many years. It keeps getting better. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind folks here. Great place for Christmas shopping, too!

Carl was outstanding assisting us with an irrigation well pump replacement.  So thankful for his knowledge and generosity creating a tool to actually remove the old pump; we could not have accomplished it, otherwise.  Price was also very competitive.
Highly recommended!

The manager at this Ace Hardware is the worst part of going to this Ace Hardware, but the other associates are very helpful. I went in one time when they were getting rid of their big green egg line of grills, and they had a used MX sized grill for sale at the new grill price. When I asked the manager if they'd go down in price, because it clearly looked like it'd been used so much that the ceramic inside was completely black, he told me no and they only used it once.. I feel sorry for the person that ended up buying that from them, they had a new one in back for the same price. I would recommend the Derby, Central/Tyler, or Andover locations if you have to go to Ace instead of this one, or just go to Lowes if your in Maize. I can't stand when a company/manager tries to take advantage of people, especially now when you can just go to a different store or order online.

This Walmart is clean, friendly, and well stocked with fashionable and trendy items in all departments.

Store is ok nothing mind blowing. I has to use customer service and the lady working customer service I believe her name is Stephanie not for sure Caucasian heavier set gal I was hoping it was just a bad day but this is pretty typical that when she's proving wrong/or her decision is overruled by management, she then tries to take it out on you in any way possible and it just gets ridiculous sometimes especially during the holiday. Management though was reasonable and most other workers were polite.

Got there in the nick of time. Skyler was kind and sweet. Had a great service she came out with my order and I am very grateful. Definitely is an amazing employee here.

Stopped in with my husband to grab weekly groceries for our semi truck. Now as a Walmart driver I hear about walmart employees typically hating their jobs but walking into this store made me FEEL exactly that. When asking for help locating items a few employees were viscerally reluctant to help. At self check out the older black women with the short blonde and black hair cut made this trip extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. She made sure to stand directly behind or near us as we checked out…The ENTIRE TIME. It was so uncomfortable my husband proceeded to include her in our shopping trip by asking her to help find the correct barcode on a triple pack of bellpeppers in order for it to ring up. I have NEVER at a walmart been asked to check items at checkout. BUT TODAY WE WERE, as this woman thought we were trying to walk out with a case of water! She looks at my printed receipts and sees not one but two cases of water were rung up and paid for. This experience was so bad we ended up getting  Manager on Duty involved, Paul. Paul was understanding and apologetic. We expect to be able to spend our money in Kansas the same way we do in California or Florida. By not being profiled the moment we come into the self checkout area and given the same respect and personal space as everyone else. Instead this women assumed something about us and we all know what happens at the and of that statement…

The customer service was excellent I bought some clothes,drinks,sent money order to my husband.told the manager I parked my big rig out front,told her I'd be an hr Max..she was nice about it.Thanks..great store..nice and clean and organized.

Me and my husband were woke up to a lady lying saying we was in a loading zone with our semi. This is probably the most anti truck walmart we've ever been too. Truckers don't deliver. They don't have respect for us at all. I'd refuse their loads.

We were shocked by how friendly each employee we encountered at the Goddard Wal-Mart was!  Our local Wal-Mart is shockingly rude so I have begun avoiding it the last few months.  It was lovely to walk in and be helped by smiling faces.

This place is honestly a mess. Anything you want is out of stock. Stuff is mislabeled. Restocking isn't great: I've gotten expired canned goods twice. There's a lot of managers standing around but not a lot of employees and nobody says hello or helps. They're all picking orders or speed walk by with their heads down. The facilities are clean and displays are set up nicely, it's just not well stocked and not well staffed, other than the three people hovering around self-checkout like vultures. I tend to just give up and drive the extra 15 minutes to Target.

This is the best Walmart I’ve ever been to. It’s never overly busy. It’s clean, organized, and well stocked (except recently due to the coronavirus). Quick lines, helpful staff, easy to get in and out ;0). This is the only Walmart Supercenter that doesn’t stress me out. I recommend checking it out!

Lowe's Home Improvement

Been to his location several times and usually have good service and people are super helpful. Definitely prefer Lowe’s over Home Depot for quality of products!

I do want to note that my past two experiences have been awful here, so I don’t know if management is going downhill or what. I came in to get another gallon of paint to finish my daughter’s room. Stood at the counter in the Paint section for a solid 4-5 minutes with an employee on a ladder within eye view looking over at me several times, without any acknowledgment.

I eventually went to the customer service desk and asked if anyone was working in paint today; to which they confirmed and called for help right away. Super nice ladies! Turns out, the guy that looked at me several times but decided not to acknowledge me was Julian, the employee working in the paint department. *Face Palm* Why come to work if you don’t want to help customers…?

Still giving 4 stars overall, because I have been a customer for a while and don’t consistently have poor experiences like this. I want to complement the ladies in customer service who were very on top of things getting me assistance, and also Jennifer who engaged with me in self checkout. She was so sweet and friendly! Thank you to these ladies for making up for what would have been a really disappointing experience!

Needed to purchase a washer and Kyle was the sales person.  Sales experience was good but even better was the delivery guys.  The 3 guys were very courteous and friendly.  They were very careful about bringing  in my washer.  I would recommend Lowes for purchasing appliances & home delivery.  Thanks guys!

I ordered a refrigerator online. They sent me one email and I haven't heard anything from them since. I hope that I get my refrigerator on the day I choose. There was no time given so I guess that means from anytime from when they open to when they close. You think they could give you a better idea just in case something came up you could work around the scheduled time. I think they change sizes and brands every week, I know the price sure does. We'll see how things turn out and will let you know.

My husband and I bought a washer, dryer, and a fridge. Lowe's allowed us to choose a delivery date, the date we chose was a week after the purchase date. The time frame that was given was from 8am -8pm. Around 4pm, we called to see if they could provide a more specific window in which the delivery would occur. We were then told the delivery would occur late that night or on Monday. It did not come on the day we requested. My husband went into the store to speak with a representative, due to the call being vague for a Monday delivery. We learned the delivery date was now delayed by 2 weeks due to a shortage in appliances. Mind you, this information wasn't given until we asked. We also learned that the items WE BOUGHT were sold due to never being taken off the floor. We did receive a refund, but now we must repurchase the same items that are now more expensive.

I do not recommend.

If I could it would be 0/5. My pregnant wife bought a clearance dishwasher stating it was on sale because of a dent and not used back in October waiting for me to separate from the military to install it. The dishwasher came with no brackets, no box, no cables, and was dirty inside. Obviously used but according to them not. Fast forward to recently. I separated from the military and moved back to Topeka and installed it. After a couple loads we found out it leaks underneath the unit no where near the hoses I attached. Called 2 times and was transferred to a manager both times after waiting on hold for 15+ minutes the call ended. Total of 6 calls and was informed to contact the dishwashing manufacturer on the 5th call while the 6th call was on hold for 20 minutes until I gave up attempting to get assistance with a broken product they sold.

Westlake Ace Hardware

Couldn't find what I was after. Cashier was too busy texting on her phone to help me. She just pointed me to the locked up products that I couldn't see because they were locked up, which I assume she knew. I had to go ask for more help to be able to actually look at the products. They used to have good service here. That's obviously changed.

I went here for specialty orchid potting soil which the nursery was out of. I also got a special Miracle Gro plant food for orchids. This place was prepared.

Ace Hardware is one of the few places to find Mrs. Stewart's blueing. Count on Ace for items that you don't find on every store shelf.

I didn't find the product right away so I asked an employee for assistance.. didn't get her name.. but she was nice and definitely helpful because we went an aisle over, there it was. We chatted a bit about the product, had a little laugh, then headed for the register.
The clerk there was courteous.. I made my purchase.. and out the door.
I did check online first to make sure which store had this product in stock.. not always a guarantee, but it was correct this time.

They usually have what I need. And keeps me from going on to the big box stores.

Great neighborhood hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

My goodness this is a large store and amazingly clean with the amount of traffic this place is has.
Shelves stocked and employees everywhere for a change it felt like compared to most Walmarts these days.

Visited today and quite the movement in clearing Halloween and getting Christmas in there. Looked efficiently and making hell great progress.

Walmart is always a challenging task. This time I got hyped Almond Flour is expensive and I thought there was a sale on it for the bigger size, nope in the wrong spot and literally no spot where it was suppose to actually be!!! Annoying was originally 17 + dollars

Well, I had just come from Ross on this visit where I waited in line to buy three things over 20 minutes. Walmart had no line at self checkout, but it is so difficult to get around in the store during Christmas season. That isn't the stores issue how ever! Folks just need to be courteous to eachother.

Every time I order something here for delivery there out of something. Some of the most basic items. Soda, ramen, potatoes, boxed dinners, meats, spices. Its gotten to a point that am thinking of shopping somewhere else. I tried to order ramen yesterday and apparently yall were bone dry of it. Always something, for a superstore I expected better.

I'm great. Place to stop and get majority of your everyday needs. For the best experience, highly recommend having the Walmart app and utilizing Walmart pay. Also, the shop and go function within the app is very helpful to get in and get out quickly.

My only issue with this Walmart is the lack of anyone at the jewelry counter. - Why I removed a star -  Unless you go there when they first open for the day, the odds of getting anyone in that department are low. Thankfully the automotive manager Nathan was more than willing to help when I needed a new watch battery not too long ago.
To all of you people who complained about the customer service; YOUR ATTITUDE has a lot to do with how they respond to you.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The little girl at the check out wanted to throw attitude at me because I asked her to get a manager for me. Better hope I don’t catch her outside

Very friendly and helpful employees. Always has checkout employees ready. Way better walmart then the others !!

This location is very clean, the isles are not crowded and there were employees available for all of my questions.  All of the employees I encountered were helpful, polite and had smiles on their faces. I was also impressed there were several registers manned by cashiers.  It's the first time in a while that I have been in a Walmart that the manned registers outnumbered the self checkouts.  The employees took pride in that fact and it was refreshing to see that.  I also liked that there were benches to sit, I brought my 87 year old Uncle who uses a walker and it was nice he could sit and rest while I did some shopping.

Miserable place. The lunch from the deli gets worse and worse every time and they never have anything cold to drink. Have to carry my own condiments in my car because they never have any available. Come in after a hot day at work to get a cold drink and their refrigerated drinks are room temp. Frustrating as ever. Do not recommend.

Indian Hills Ace Hardware

Save time this holiday and go to Ace for one stop shopping. Awesome store and customer service. In down time the cashiers were sweeping the floors. Thanks Ace.see you soon!

Don't normally use this Ace due to history of rude staff but my pickup order was sent there yesterday. I recieved no notice that the order had been received or filled.  Called store today to confirm order. I was once again insulted by staff.

I love this hardware store...over the years I have never had a negative interaction with employees. They are all friendly, and ready to help in any way. The store carries a large variety of merchandise with reasonable prices. I highly recommend going to Indian Hills Ace Hardware!

The best Ace in the area since Derby Ace Hardware is gone. Rest in peace Gordon Siewert, owner of Derby Ace, my father.

It’s not the biggest or flashiest hardware store but when you legitimately need help with something they will help you to the best of their ability/knowledge. It’s a life long experience to know a bit about everything that’s sold in a hardware store (building, electrical, remodeling, landscaping, plumbing and painting etc etc) so having employees with those skills is a valuable resource and I appreciate them.

After the pandemic, complete staff change and unfortunately lower satisfactory. Many of the new workers are rude and lazy I hope that they quickly find motivated workers.
Been coming to the store for years.
My hobby is DIY at home and I love the prices here and am said to know the old crew is gone. The last individual that was so helpful these last couple of weeks ended up quitting for a better position. ☹️

School of Rock

School of Rock has given our son an awesome  platform to learn how to play along with others and how to perform.   The mentors are easy to work with and he looks forward to going every single week. Great experience!

Confidence building! After a very hard year, it’s wonderful to see our daughter getting back to her confident, spunky self. I credit Brandi and School of Rock! Of course, diving into music is healing in itself, but our daughter has been so encouraged and supported that it is literally changing her life. We can not thank School of Rock enough!

I went to the Dundee Days School of Rock Concert. I was blown away by the talent. The talent of those kids  is just WOW! Only shows how amazing the staff are! Wish I had known about School of Rock before I turned 17! They sure know how to perform! 👌🏾  How amazing!

Love this place. My 11yo has drastically improved playing guitar by taking lessons. She has also been taking singing lessons and sounds awesome.  Soon she will be taking keyboard lessons.  All from one close location.  All the instructors she has are "the best!"

They have instructors who understand that my 6yr old grandson learns best while having fun.
