Goldfish Swim School - Edmond

We have been amazed at how quickly our kids have grown in their ability to swim! They love the teachers and the ribbons they get when they master a technique.

This place is great for year-round weekly swim lessons. I like that my youngest doesn't forget some of the skils he has over the summer and improves year over year. I do wish the lessons were a little longer by about 15 minutes. The 30 minute lesson doesn't always allow for my 3-year-old to understand then really practice a technique becuase even with the 4 student max, that's not even 10 minutes per child. The instructors have been very sweet though. The faculty is great for a swim school. They have a row of showers in the pool area to rinse off before and after as well as 4 separate bathrooms with an accessible shower. There are also tons of private changing rooms to change quickly. The parents area has plenty of seating and a wall of windows to watch. The kids without actually being in the po area where it could be distracting.  Even though each instructor has a 4 student max there are classess on both sides of the pool that are all happening simultaneously so it can be a little loud. They have many different skill level groups so no one feels bad about their abilities. They offer classes in the weekends all day and every week night as well. I also liked the 1 week daily class we took in the beginning

My Son Started Swimming lessons last August and he absolutely loves it! Ms.Yasmine has been his teacher from the beginning. She's the best and very patient with my son. Annabel at the front desk helped me enroll my son in the school is the best at what she does. I withdrew in the fall/winter because of the weather. She called us in the spring and asked if we wanted to join again. Which we did. But overalls the staff and the school is the most affordable and clean swim school.

My grandson attended a birthday party at this location and had a great time. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the lifeguards were attentive and aware at all times while the children were in the pool. The pool is indoors and heated. There are showers to wash off prior to and after entering and exiting the pool, plus there is a restroom in the enclosed pool area, so the kids don’t have to travel far. According to the swim school’s brochure, they offer different levels of swim classes from 4 months to 12 years for a cost of $89 to $109 per month, with a $25 annual membership fee for the first child and $20 fee for the second child, with a maximum of $45 for the family. This is a swim school, so fortunately, there is a viewing area where parents can watch their little ones in the comfort of air-conditioning, without being in the humidity of the pool area. They also offer Family Swim, though you may need to call to find when that activity is available. Other amenities offered include family-friendly changing rooms, private bathrooms, a hair-drying station, a swimsuit dryer, a Treasure Island Pro Shop, and a snack shack. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place and will probably go back.

We have taken lessons weekly for almost 5 months. My son loves to come to class! We have been very pleased with Goldfish!

The staff are all friendly and professional.  They truly care about you and your accomplishments.  I always look forward to my next appointment.  I'm very satisfied with my weight loss so far.  I highly recommend Steelman Clinic to anyone who is serious about losing weight.  They also offer other services as well.  Go check them out!

Stretch Fit LLC

I don't do many reviews, but here was my experience.  I currently have lower back pain and need help with stretching.  I called Sterling and he came out same day to help.  This is intense stretching, not the relax and let me push your leg.  He has techniques I have never seen before, felt crazy loose afterwards.  There are other places, but confident Stretch Fit will get your job done.  Highly recommend him to someone that understands what it takes to get the results you want.   If you want a relaxing experience, go get a massage.  Need a stretched the heck out, give Sterling a try, the feeling after you will love.  Nice work!

I was having horrible hip pain after i would do my long runs about 2.5 years ago. The day of and for a few days after i was limping around. I heard about StretchFit and thought maybe I should try it out. Sterling took the time to talk to me about the pain I was having and he was very professional and caring. After a few sessions with him my pain went away and my runs were fun again! I would recommend this to anyone who is having any pain with their workouts! I would also recommend it as a preventative measure to protect against injury. Incredibly professional and personal service. I still stretch even though I’m no longer having issues and I would highly recommend Sterling to my friends and family! Seriously just do it! It’s amazing!

Been working with Sterling for over 2 years and I’d HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Game changer for me personally as an athlete and Coach and let’s face it - body getting older. Young, old, athlete, current injury - previous injury, whatever the case, Sterling can do amazing things to help your body!

Life changing!! I suffered from back and knee pain, and Sterling fixed me right up!! I’m an athlete, so any time I have aches/pains he’s my first call! Professional environment, great customer service and highly recommend to ANYONE!! I’ve seen him do amazing things for so many different people!

I wish I could give zero stars. I had my first and only session with Stretch Fit LLC. Sterling had me walk around after the session and I did feel good at that time. So, I signed up and paid for a series of stretches based on how I felt immediately after the session.

What I didn't know, and Sterling didn't tell me, is that I might have a reaction later. I started feeling bad that night, but thought maybe I was just tired, so I went to bed early. The next day, I couldn't get out of bed. I ended up sick in bed for 4 days. I had to cancel appointments and couldn't take good care of my elderly parent. I had a splitting headache and nausea.

I contacted Sterling and told him I couldn't continue with the sessions. There is no way I can take a chance of this happening again. He seemed to understand when I told him this at that time.

Sterling told me he would give me a full refund. He asked me to come by and pick it up which I did. But, he gave me a partial refund and said he wasn't sure what I wanted to do.

I asked him if I should come back for the rest of the refund, later. He told me I had signed a contract and that he would not be refunding the rest.

I've been talking with him about this ever since but he refuses to refund me even though he knows there is no way I can take a chance to continue sessions with a reaction like the one I experienced. Common sense tells you that it would be ridiculous to continue.

His attitude has also gotten increasingly worse even though I have done my best to keep our discussions civil. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that acts like this, doesn't need to be in such close contact with people in his stretch sessions. How do you trust someone with your body who you can't trust to tell you the truth? Or, to understand why you can't continue with his work?

I have done my best to write this review and present the truth so people can assess for themselves if they want to do business with Sterling. I take it very seriously what I've posted here because it can affect his business and for that, I'm not happy. I would much rather he had returned the money so I wouldn't be put in the position of affecting his career to this extent.

Now, I will have to take him to court. I won't get any money out of it but neither will he. And, because of the principle of it, I will have to do this because it's not right. Sometimes you just have to take a stand for what is right.

Edit: I posted this a few hours ago. At that time, there was only 1 other review for this business. Now, a few hours later, here are 4 new reviews. Buyer beware. Maybe some people do great with Sterling and so he has asked them to post here. But, if there is any chance that you won't do well with Sterling, then remember what I've posted. I'll keep you updated. He has also removed my comment from his facebook page. FYI!

CrossFit 822, home of Rise Boot Camp

I have worked out in a bunch of different gyms and never got the result like I have hear!   I love the coaches and what the represent. They actually help you achieve your goals!! 5 stars results!

What a warm and welcoming place!  I love the workouts and always feel challenged.  I highly recommend getting to this gym.

Fitcamp 180

I have SO MUCH FUN working out at Fitcamp 180. The workout is set each day and is a different muscle group everyday. I’ve been going for almost 5 months and haven’t done the same workout twice! The trainers are friendly and manage a lot of people getting good workouts in & offer modifications that are best for you. Also, a lot of the workouts you do with a partner which offers a community aspect and encourages you both to push yourself! Come join us!

I’ve attended gyms all over the state and there is no place like FitCamp180. The workouts are intense and effective for sure. It goes so much deeper though. The staff love the people with their entire being. The people (clients) welcome, encourage and help newbies like they are employed by the place. Wait - there’s more. They also praise Jesus here! Everyday you leave a little better than when you walked in... not just physically but mentally & spiritually. #Morethanagym

I've lost 145 pounds and I'm keeping it off.  This would not be possible without Fitcamp180.

Fitcamp180 is a place where you work hard, sweat profusely, laugh often, pray after every workout.  The trainers are real humans not barbie dolls.  They are real and walk through your fitness journey with you.

They have encouraged me when I could barely get up from the mat from a sitting position.  They have supported me right where I was and fight for my fitness goals with me and with my family.

Not only have they become my fit family, but they are my spiritual family and my accountability partners.

I ran my first 5k under 55 minutes with my FitCamp180 family at an HIA event.  Now I'm at 36 minutes for a 5k.

FitCamp 180 is not your typical gym. I have been to so many different gyms and always feel the stare, the judgement, but most of all shame. There is NONE of that here. Everyone is supportive, kind and welcoming. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave you are seen and loved. They are so sure you’ll find your new gym home your first workout is free.

I’ve been at FC 180 for a year now and it has completely changed my life! I look forward to the workouts, I’ve made new friends - family & it’s fun. I love how God is kept at the center and everyone is encouraging. It can be intimidating going to a brand new gym, but everyone is welcoming, non judge-mental & will challenge you to be your best. It’s crazy to look back how much stronger I am from when I started. You won’t regret coming here!

Low T Center

Waste of time. Made an initial consultation appointment. 8am next day. Great. Stood around in waiting room for 15 minutes with a line of people in front of me for initial consultations. Tiny tiny waiting room, I could hear all the personal information of the guy at the desk.

I wasn’t going to just stand there for an hour like an idiot.

loved this place until I had an issue with insurance change on my part. they will tell you that you know nothing so they can get your money. I found my new insurance will pay for their out patients therapy but they wouldn't call after I asked them to. the billing person got heated and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. then Jessica pretty much said that same thing. well, I went to my doctor. got a prescription and will pay $75 for 3 months. pretty much what I would of paid through the low t center but hey. they know more than I do! always check with your own doctor before you have someone attempt telling you that the only way is their way. im saving over $300 because I don't know what I'm talking about. don't get me wrong. they make you feel good about taking their product. just get a second opinion and always research everything.

This place has been very helpful and informative. They have been helping me since day one to get things back in order for  me and I have been coming here for about 2 years now. I highly recommend them. They are friendly, personable, and kind. They will tailor a plan to your needs.

This place changed my life!!! I feel the best I have ever felt in a long time. The Nurses are awesome! Place is always clean, and you are always in and out very quickly. I highly recommend going here if you are not feeling like your normal self.

Low T Center has great customer service. Most days when I am here it is only a 10 to 25 minute from the time you walk in to till the time you walk out. I am very satisfied with my services from here. Good place, better people!

King Marlin Swim Club

Most coaches are great but Some can be rude to children and parents.
One instructor gets annoyed and argumentative if you ask her questions.
The swimming program is great and one of the best in the state.
My
Son has made miraculous improvements with one coach especially after he overcame cancer a year ago.
He's the most amazing swim coach I've ever met!

I have three children that swim for the team.  Two of my children have been with the team since August of 2015 and my youngest child began in the swim school this summer.  I cannot even begin to express my appreciation for the coaching and their consideration of the whole child - from their confidence to their technical swim skills.  They are interested in helping each child become the best they can be.

I have swam for this swim for a little over 6 years now and I have loved every minute of it. The coaches are amazing, they find ways to make even the hardest practices fun. My teammates are like my second family, they make practice and meets a lot of fun. This team is awesome.

The BEST coaching in Oklahoma! Four of our kids swim with KMSC 2 of them with special needs. They are all coached like champions!! We can't recommend this USA Swim Club enough!!

We love KMSC! My child swims on the team and she loves it. She has learned so much and the confidence she has gained is immeasurable. Can't say enough good things about this team!

State Gym

Worst gym I've ever been to. If you're a bodybuilder or powerlifter, AVOID this gym at all costs.
1.) They fogged ALL the mirrors in both locker rooms to prevent pictures
2.) NO chalk
3.) Have to wear shoes, can't go shoeless for squats even
4.) A dress code
5.) No banging the weights
6.) Must use the safety clips at all times EVEN IF you're lifting a lone and its safer without the clips.
I'm a professional bodybuilder & This is a joke of gym. I got harassed by the staff for the list above. Save yourself the $20 day pass fee for planet fitness.

A very nice gym with plenty of exercise equipment and space for doing a variety of sports.  When you first walk into the gym, you'll be greeted by the giant rock climbing wall.  After getting through the front entrance, first floor has a bunch of weight lifting equipment, the casual pool that is accessible through the locker rooms, and 3 courts toward the back of the gym (usually setup for basketball, volleyball, and badminton).  Equipment rental and towel service can also be found on the first floor.  Going up either set of the stairs, the second floor has all the cardio equipment, along with some more weight training equipment, and an indoor track.  If you know where you're going, you will also find a connection to the "old gym" where there are 2 more basketball courts, another indoor track (banked), and access to the personal training facility.  The sky bridge to Beyer hall (the actual lap pool) has more elliptical machines.  The gym tends to be most busy during the first month of each semester.  However, you can easily avoid the crowd by showing up early or workout during the day while other people are in class.  There are plenty of free group classes that you can also take.  Check the recreational services website to find out group class schedules.

Overall Good, but the pool always has its own schedules which usually difficult to find out… they don’t post the open time online. You have to ask time by time…

Sometimes can be verry crowded. Could be bigger, but otherwise is a great facility.

Tradehome Shoes

Mackenzie is amazing!  I am a nurse and only by my work shoes from her.  She know what will fit my narrow feet and help with back pain.  My Grandfather had a shoe store in the 60’s and Mackenzie reminds me a lot of Him, knowing how to treat a customer like family. She always knows what will be best for Me and not just what I like.  I will forever be grateful for her kindness, sweet attitude and Tradehome is Lucky to have her!

Mike and his staff  go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service! They have a great selection of shoes. I will definitely be back to buy my next pair of shoes from Tradehome Shoes.

I came in and bought a pair of heydudes from Mackenzie a few weeks back and had nothing but an amazing experience. I brought my family in and bought my wife a pair of shoes, myself and both my kids and she was so helpful along the way. Definitely will be coming back!

My husband bought a pair of heydude from Mackenzie here and then after his amazing experience insisted we go back and buy me a pair. Well after very little persuasion we left with a new pair of onlcouds for me , rivals for him and 2 kids hey dudes! She’s absolutely an amazing sales person and is great at her job 😊 Will never go anywhere else but to her!

Went to Tradehome in woodland, Cole helped us with our three kids. He was great with the kids, down in the floor helping put shoes on, and tried to help one learn to tie shoes. I will definitely be going back!

I started going once a week a couple of months ago. And I can tell my neck is so much better. Also as a bonus it feels like it's helping everything else.

This place is outstanding. Staff is super friendly and most importantly, their service has showed me much better results than a massage. I have a lot tight muscle pains  and stiffness. It’s money we’ll spent!
