Really like this gym! Super convenient! Fast response to sign up; I’m visiting. Coach Shawn is awesome! So helpful. Great equipment, excellent program j g. Nice athletes. I’ll be back on every trip to Chicago!

Friendly and competitive CrossFit gym. I dropped in here while in town for work. The drop in fee is $30 for a day and $100 for a week, pretty expensive but looking at other places in the area that seems to be the going rate. Seems like it would be a great home gym, super friendly environment with athletes of all levels. Equipment is new and nice and they have showers! Lots of class times and they have community building things like in house competitions too. As I’m not from cold weather, I was worried about being cold but it’s located in a basement and it’s warm so you don’t need to bundle up.

Note - ring the buzzer to get in or else you’ll be hanging outside for a while.

My husband and I had a terrific drop-in experience at this CrossFit box. If you come to Chicago, stay at Trump and you will have a 3-minute walk to CrossFit. This box is cleaner than an operating room. All the Rogue equipment is neatly stored and ready for abuse. Coach Ross managed the class expertly and we felt like we had a good WOD. Nope, MagMile will not post workouts in advance, but you won’t disappointed.

Dropped into MagMile CrossFit during a visit to Chicago had a great time! Easy to sign up and communicate with the gym to coordinate the class I wanted to attend!.The location of the facility was easy to find, great workout, great gym! I recommend to anyone in the area and can't wait to do another drop in class when I am back!

Planet Fitness

It's a little small, but it was not crowded, so it really didn't matter.  Great people and clean!  If you need a pump, you can get it here!

Please keep the actual hours of business posted. I know I'm not the first and won't be the last, I arrived 20mins after 5am today and there was no one around doors locked. Online the hours are posted as regular being doors open 5am. This is very frustrating as someone who uses cta travel.

“Judgement free zone” as long as you’re not interested in bodybuilding whatsoever. If you’re muscular and wear a tank top, and god forbid drink a protein shake, you’re not welcome. No real squat racks (just smith machines).

Why are there no decent weightlifting gyms in streeterville? Will I ever deadlift again? Someone needs to start a gym that is ACTUALLY inclusive and a judgement free zone that allows people of all sizes and levels of seriousness to lift and praise the muscle gods.

It’s good and clean enough. Could be better if staff would walk around and monitor. There are people on their kindle reading books while sitting on the machines, and that’s annoying. Otherwise, it’s a good-enough gym. I appreciate the tanning and massage beds.

Awesome customer service. John, the manager, was incredible hospitable. I will always remember how unbelievably accommodating he was, as I was an out of town guest. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Thank you. 🙏

Anytime Fitness

My absolute favorite club! The facility is clean and the largest Anytime I have ever been to. There is such a wide variety of machines for every level of fitness. My favorite part in the gym is the purple turf, you have to check it out! The top reason this club stands out above the rest for me is the staff and members 🫶🏼 it feels like family at Anytime Dyer. The staff is extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. If you are ever in the Dyer area, make sure to stop by and check this club out! You will not be disappointed 🖤💜💪🏼

Vicki is a great trainer! She understands how to train someone  who isn't 22 years old! She is not only very good at her job but is an immensely  compassionate and kind person.
I have been a member for many years but my schedule  does not allow me to contract with a personal trainer.  She has been the first person who has truly  taken an interest  in my fitness development while not being tied to a contract.
When the  day comes that I can work with a trainer on a regular  basis Vicki will be my go to!
Her excitement  and positive reinforcement for getting fit has certainly  rubbed off!
I highly recommend her !

I was visiting from LA for 3 weeks and finding this gem was pretty awesome. The gym is so clean, the equipment is state of the art, and the staff were beyond friendly.  I’d recommend it 100% to anyone and I would most definitely come back.

Great facility me and my family have been coming here for years. Plenty of room, equipment and the facility is well run. I would recommend this gym for anyone looking into getting into shape.

I have been working with Savannah for a few months now and I’m seeing some great results! She is very knowledgeable on training. She is great at pushing my limits to make me stronger and she is great at keeping spirits and energy high. 15/10 recommend her. The facility is also great. I switched to anytime when my previous gym got bought by the Y and it became too congested with people. It was a great decision for sure. Facility is super clean, lots of great machines/free weight, and super great staff.  Highly recommend.

Chicago Body Shop

My experience at the Body Shop has been great! Coach D is motivating and tailors workouts to the results you want to see. He is incredibly motivating and great at what he does. He has top of the line equipment to help you along your journey a keep you accountable to your goals. I highly recommend the body shop!

I just started going to the Chicago Body Shop and I already feel so much better and more confident in my body. I did have some knee pain and Achilles pain that has already slowly subsided. Coach Dee gives you a health assessment which breaks down what your body needs to lose weight and body fat which I needed as opposed to looking up different workouts and random meal plans. Even tho I am 2 weeks in I feel that I have been provided with all the necessary tools to reach my goals and can't wait to see the end results.

I have known Dionis for several years and he is a great Trainer. He focuses on specialized workouts to cater your individual needs and goals. The gym is really nice and upscale and guaranteed to get the job done!!

I love how this facility is within our community! The Chicago Body Shop is a clean space, with amazing amenities (including a sauna) and state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Coach D delivers knowledge and professionalism at every level. Prior to beginning personal training sessions, he conducts an in-depth body assessment, which helps aid in obtaining your fitness goals. I have been working on achieving my fitness goals at the Chicago Body Shop for two months now and have lost a total of 6lbs and some inches. If you are ready to achieve your fitness goals The Body Shop is definitely a great community and place to get started!

I’ve recently joined the Chicago Body Shop and although I was previously working out prior to signing up with Dee. My body was not responding the way that I wanted too! But my body has made a major transition since Dee started training me! Not only do he provide an extreme workout but it’s  nothing that I can’t handle. Most importantly Dee did something that no other trainer did. He helped me understand the diet part of it as well. Once I had a better understanding of my calorie deficit. It was like my body took off from that point. I’ve had other trainer’s in the past and all they did was just work me out. None of them provided me the knowledge and understanding that Dee gave me! So I told him that he is far the best trainer I’ve ever had and I mean that! Not to mention that he’s very focused and determined to  help his clients achieve the goals that they desire! I don’t just want a trainer that just show up and work me out! Dee not only shows but also shows up with the knowledge of exactly what I need to be doing inside and outside the gym! One of things that I appreciate about him the most is that he does not have me doing things that may cause an injury! I have that happen with 2 different trainers in the past! If you’re looking for a serious and professional trainer with  a private and clean, upscale gym that will definitely help you reach the goals that you desire. Then don’t look no further! Chicago Body Shop is the place to attend! I feel very comfortable here and I trust his knowledge and most of all I see the results! Even my husband is transforming right before my eyes as well. He also attends the gym with Dee 3 days a week! As I stated before, you won’t find anyone or any place better then Dee at Chicago Body Shop! If you don’t do anything else stop in and take a look around and speak with Dee and I guarantee you will want to sign up! You won’t regret it !!! 💯💯💯

FIRE Fitness Camp Oshkosh North

Best gym I've been to.
Many people, like myself, find it hard to stay motivated and keep a steady routine when working out. Katie's team at Fire did an amazing job energizing you from the moment you walk in the door. Incredibly friendly and motivating staff.
As far as the workouts are concerned, you get what you put in. They are quick, convenient, and can be very challenging if you make them.

Before coming to FIRE I was working out 3 to 5 days a week and not seeing results. Since joining FIRE Fitness I have lost 35+ lbs! The coaches, atmosphere and other clients are amazing! I've made so many new friends and I am forever grateful for this place!

I can’t not say it loud enough…this gym is the place to be! The owner Katie is so personable and kind. I had concerns upon signing up but after meeting Katie, I was 💯 onboard. She listened with compassion and understanding, we set a plan and off we went. I’m so gracious for the opportunity to talk with her and be a part of this amazing gym culture that is available in my city! Fire Fitness North Oshkosh was the greatest health investment yet! I recently took the plunge and signed up for this fitness camp. I don’t regret one bit of it. It is challenging but the coaches are very uplifting every step of the way. You will never be made to feel like a failure. They encourage you and root for you every step of the way. I have even attended a class where I was the only person there and the coach worked out with me so I wasn’t alone. I’m glad I took the steps to better my health/fitness and put trust into a gym where it’s a small family and they care about your story/journey.

About 30 classes in and still love it daily. The coaches and other members encourage you work harder than you thought you could. Great variety of exercises also.

StretchLab

The owner is really nice. Place is cute. Wish they could play spa music instead of lyrical music. I go for much needed stretches with Tom every Saturday. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Ashley is amazing! She is my gal at Stretch Lab St. John. She is very skilled, not only is she great at stretching her clients, but she has that additional knowledge and healing touch as a massage therapist. Great knowledge of the body and how to properly manipulate. Very caring and compassionate. I encourage people to sign up for a 3 month membership at stretch lab and experience Ashley!

Ashley, what's the instructor that helped me? What's my stretches. She was excellent, very knowledgeable and explaining each step that she was doing. Explaining the stretches what parts that it would affect. And if my body needed more work you know the parts of my body. I would like for her to be my instructor every time I come to do my stretches. A wonderful job Ashley.

This was my first visit to Stretch Lab and it was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and explained the process. Ashley W did a fantastic job and I am feeling loose and pain-free for my upcoming marathon.
Afterwards, they go over different pricing options with you & there are plenty to choose from. Some insurance companies may even cover so many visits per year so I’m looking into that.
It’s an expensive experience if you’re going to do it regularly but one that will certainly help with your flexibility, health and overall wellbeing.

Amazing experience. Has helped me so much with maintaining pain control and flexibility due to the daily strain of my job. Ashley is the best!!

FIRE Fitness Camp New London

I don't know what I would do without Fire Fitness New London!  I walked through the doors a year ago just wanting to lose weight and it became so much more!! Not only have I lost 35lbs but I have gained muscle, confidence and a Fire family!!  All of the coaches are super supportive and push you to give your best.  I also really like that they pay attention to your form and will correct you if needed.

All fitness levels are welcome!  When I started I was extremely out of shape and I have been improving every day.  Fire has been life changing for me.  My only regret is not walking through the doors sooner.  If I can do it, anybody can!

I have never ever been a person who sticks to anything that I start nor have I been a morning person before Fire Fitness entered my life. I look forward to my  5 AM Fire Fitness camps and have been sticking to them for years now! The workouts are fun and challenging and never boring! No matter who is coaching, they will push you to your limits and help you move beyond those limits in ways you never thought were possible! I highly recommend Fire Fitness Camps in New London to anyone who is ready to make the commitment and is ready to change your life for the better!

I joined Fire Fitness New London this past winter and have been grateful for the encouragement with every workout. They meet you where you are at and help push you to where you want to be in your fitness journey. The classes are the perfect amount of time and ever changing keeping it fresh. Exercise has never been my favorite thing to do, but since I’ve joined FIRE Fitness New London, I am motivated to show up and give it my all and it feels awesome! The music can be loud, but sometimes when I feel like I can’t go anymore, I focus on the beat of the music so I can keep going so it’s actually been really helpful. I am loving feeling stronger and healthier, I absolutely love all the coaches and the encouragement they give and the members help keep me motivated and always trying to push myself a little more. I would recommend Fire Fitness New London to everyone!

I walked through the doors of Fire Fitness New London 5 years ago and never looked back. This place changed my life! 30+ pounds gone and I’m in better shape in my 40s than I was in my 20s. Coaches are top notch. They keep you honest during workouts and are top notch with the nutrition side to help reach those goals!!

Body Language Pilates

I can't say enough about Sami and Body Language Pilates. Sami is an incredible teacher who manages to both push you to grow in your Pilates practice while keeping things fresh and new and fun. Even in a group class, she helps tailor her instruction to the skill level of her students and is quick to help adjust when form needs correcting. The studio is beautiful, the classes are challenging but fun, and I'm excited to see this business continue to grow!

Sami is one of the best Pilates instructors I've ever learned from. She keeps classes fresh with an astonishing variety of movements and ways to use the reformer, and has the kinesthetic intelligence necessary to suggest subtle body adjustments that can transform an entire movement into its most effective version. She's positive and encouraging, and I aways feel terrific when I leave her beautiful studio. Highly recommend trying a class!

Love taking classes and private lessons with Sami. She is a great instructor and I get an awesome workout each time!

Sami is amazing.  I like how she aligns my body into the proper position and watches to make sure I don't fall out of position.  This really helps me to use the proper muscles.  I really like how Sami can explain exactly where and how I should feel while doing an exercise.

Sami's training and ability to meet clients where they are at, experience-wise, makes Body Language ideal for beginners and experts alike. Trying something new like this can be intimidating, but her patience and positivity set me at ease and allowed me to improve at a regular pace. As someone who sits a lot for work, Pilates has provided me with a physical outlet that balances my mind and keeps me moving.

Body in Balance Pilates Studio

I have been seeing Dee at Body in Balance for 4 months and I've seen a huge improvement. Dee takes the time to listen and will work with your body gently to get it back in alignment. Pilates training has increased my mobility and is strengthening muscles that my body wasn't using. I highly recommend Dee!

Body in Balance is by far the best Pilates Studio in Milwaukee. Not only is Dragana incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, she also creates an experience that is tailored to my needs and concerns regardless if I am in a group class or in a private. I also appreciate that the group classes are small so I can receive that individual attention. If you are new to Pilates, or even if you are more advanced, Dragana will meet you where you are to ensure you meet your goals. I cannot say enough good things about the studio and my experience there.

Five stars are inadequate when describing Dee and the work she does! She guides you through amazing, properly performed workouts. She understands the human body and how to get you in touch with yours. She expertly identifies imbalances and weaknesses. She thoughtfully evaluates your movements to arrive at what’s needed to correct those imbalances and to strengthen. She has also rehabilitated a bad ankle sprain, and helped me regain sensation in my leg after I herniated a disc.
On top of her expertise, she is a truly kind person who is motivated by helping others. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Before meeting Dee, I had accepted that certain parts of my body would just ache on occasion. That was life, that was aging. But over time, Dee completely transformed my body and all of those aches and pains abated. My only regret is that I didn't find Body In Balance sooner.
