Do t buy cigarettes here. I bought Lucky Stripe Reds earlier today and they were $7.47! I get them for $4.75 or $5 everywhere else. every else.
Otherwise it is a pretty cool store. They have a lot of unusual items to buy. That is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1

I have a receipt for 2 boxes of incense and two .50 bags of chips. Total 10.60?? 3.49 (Usually
$1.49) for each incense and .79 for the small chips. Went back and prices where cheaper. The guy overcharged me and I think it was my appearance as to why he did that. Stop robbing the community you serve. Thieves.
(I see from other reviews this is normal. They do not respond nor care so management must know and agree with these practices.They must have switched owners as reviews changed after awhile..) And SELL OLE FOOD!!

I don't write many reviews. However I visited this location with my friend Jake & he knows this guy Ron who works there.  Ron is why I give them 5 stars.  He was helpful, friendly, & a very cool guy.  I mean he was super cool!  And takes customer service to a whole new level!  Thank you Ron!!!  You rock!

I visited this Shell last night to pick up a few small items totaling maybe $12 and was charged $36. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location, so I would certainly avoid them. The location is sketchy anyway, but you’re better off driving a bit further for a more trusted gas station!

Please be aware that this station is a ripped off store. I believe most the overcharged claim reviews. I don’t think it’s fair to charge me extras money because I am using debit or credit. If you can’t afford swipe service fees either, which is already absorbed in the final product price, then advertise your store as cash only.

Jerusalem Cafe (Westport rd)

I could say a lot. But memories. That hummus(beef/lamb). 😍. Most of all. One of the most honest smiles I’ve seen from a staff with a heart of gold.  My waitress just seemed like she couldn’t be nice enough to me. That is getting really darn remarkable lately in this world. Please tip them well and support this business.

I've been here several times and I love the food! I am vegetarian, and one of the things I like is the wide variety of options here. I came in tonight with my parents. Awni was our server, and he gave us excellent service. He was very friendly, attentive, and gave good recommendations. My dad had the shrimp kebab and absolutely devoured it. I usually get the falafel sandwich. This time, I tried the vegetarian pastry plate. It was a LOT of food. Everything tasted great! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a chill spot to eat delicious Mediterranean food. It's also affordable.

I had great service and a fast lunch here. The waiter confirmed the lentil soup was vegan friendly. I'm a falafel junkie and enjoyed my sandwich.
Honestly I was surprised at how much I liked the French fries - they were perfection!

The location is really nice and has an up-scale feel. There was a fair amount of nearby parking available.

I will definitely be back again soon - either for dine-in or carryout!

A Westport classic! I've been going here for years. This location is the perfect size for them. Their falafel and gyros are untouchable by any other Mediterranean restaurant in the city.

This time I had the philly gyros. Super non-traditonal, but worth the order! The cheese and peppers worked surprisingly well with the lamb gyro meat. Try it!

If you can't make it to their restaurant, they travel frequently with their food truck. It's worth stopping by if you ever see them in the wild

Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Falafel was good, dipping sauce was a little runny. I enjoyed the lentil soup more than I thought I would. Beef kabob sandwich had good flavor. I’d rather have hummus as a side than Cajun seasoned fries. My girlfriend had the dill chicken sandwich and said she liked the flavor. Price was alright for the food. Would eat here again and suggest to others.

Sidos Mediterranean Cuisine

First time at the Parlor and stopped by Sidos for some Mediterranean food. The food was really good and Ozzie took good care of me. If your looking for Mediterranean food go check them out. The food was incredible, I will be back.

I always try to be honest, I got denied my request to promote my channel and their restaurant which is win both of us but you can’t deny the food was absolutely very delicious. I can’t deny that. I would recommend you to try it. Lamb Chops 10/10, chicken shawarma 10/10 and Shish Kebab 7/10.

Incredible food, efficient service. I requested fries instead of a side salad - Oz and the other gentleman hooked it up with both! Such great customer service & care from the moment we walked up!!! Thank you guys!!! Food is 10/10. Definitely try the Baklava for dessert! So yummy!! 🤌🏼

I celebrated my 45th birthday at Parlor & it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had there. Justin P helped me get the perfect area reserved on short notice. Also our waitress Bailey was phenomenal & took great care of our large group. We’ve been long time fans of Parlor & I definitely recommend them 10/10 for any gathering of friends & family. Big shout out to Bailey & Justin you guys were great & thanks again for hosting us.

Parlor KC's Queer Bar takeover was a standout experience. The staff's exceptional warmth and hospitality instantly made us feel at home. The basement was an absolute blast, filled with great music and a lively party atmosphere. Got a lot of people in your party? This is your answer! It’s like a fun food court with crazy amazing food and a bar to boot! What a concept—everyone gets their own food and then joins up with their drinks and food to congregate and eat! So fun. This is in the Crossroads district of KCMO and it just has a great vibe for going out and having fun.

Had my son's wedding reception and after party. They really accommodated us well and the food/ drinks were excellent. Modern casual atmosphere with a twist. It also is fully accessible to disabled people including an elevator. Allowing five generations to celebrate together. Thank you 👍

My husband planned a last minute reservation for a large space for his birthday. Justin took great care of us and got us all scheduled and setup. Upon arrival our space was ready and our waitress for the evening Bailey, greeted us.  Bailey was beyond patient, very kind, and so easy to get along with. Can’t recommend parlor enough. We go here often and have never been let down. Thank you to the awesome staff for handling our large group and making us feel so welcome.

Westport Ale House

Looks like a great place! We sat at a table and my husband ordered drinks at bar. Waitress came over and gave us menus and said she would be back. Was looking forward to ordering the poppers but we finished our drinks and she never came back. We had seen her sitting and chatting. We left. Maybe next time service will be better.

I ordered a side salad that was big enough for a meal. It was fresh and delicious with corn bread croutons. There were LOTS of cucumbers which were not listed on the menu I (#allergygirl) picked them out one by one! Worth it but be aware if you don’t like them. I also had the green Chile chicken tacos. Wow! Delicious

Our big conference group (at least 40 people) came in last minute due to a mechanical error closing the restaurant we had originally planned to have our event (only one hour before the event!) We enjoyed playing music bingo and food was delicious. It was only $7 during Happy Hour for my chicken tender meal. Drinks were well made.

White male bartender/security with beard was very rude to me. He ignored me at the bar to fix drinks for his favorites. I had to say excuse me several times then he yelled at me and said, “You saying excuse me isn’t going to make me acknowledge you any faster”! I said,”All I wanted was to know is that you see me. He gave me a hand to my face and became even louder while continuing to pass over me. All I wanted was water because it was hot and I felt dizzy. He never took my order & told another waitress to not serve me as well. Rude for no reason.

The Westport Ale House had an excellent deck for when the weather is good.  We were there on a beautiful day of 72 degrees.  At 4:30, the place was pretty empty.  By 5:30, the deck had quite a few people.  The food wasn't anything to write home about.  Standard fried bar fare can be had for reasonable prices.  I gave them an extra star for the bartender was extremely friendly and went out of his way to provide good service.

Ridiculous prices on everything in there. Why is a Powerade 4 bucks? Will spend a few minutes more and go to QT next time

Came in the store this morning to buy something to drink. I asked the cashier how much was it.. Without out even scanning my Item he said almost 5 dollars.. I told him that's not what the sign says.. He scanned it. The price was 2.29.. Wow. I almost paid 5 dollars too. I know for a fact that I've been overcharged at this location a few times.. When he scanned my drink it said what my drink was and the price. He tried to give me some type of reason why he was about to charge me almost 5 dollars but couldn't come up with anything. Absolutely Unacceptable!

The guy who serves me took me out of the store sewer for talking to his Hispanic assistant!

I stop there on my way to work sometimes.  They make up prices on the spot.  It depends on what you look like.  One day wearing jeans and a T-shirt and a ballcap my redbull was 2 for 5 something.  I came in my nicer work clothes the next morning and it was over 8 dollars suddenly.  Also they run their refrigerators warm, don't buy milk or dairy there.  Dirty store.

This location already had too many criminals hanging around. Now they have increased the amount of drug addicts and homeless loiterers thanks to a new coin operated gambling kiosk.

I went in to buy my girlfriend candy and a man asked for change and i declinned. He kept asking and got more threatening each time. Told me to "pull it out. Pull out your money. I know you got money" trying to punk me. I told him no and he went directly to the gambling kiosk.

I give it 2 weeks before someone gets shot.

The Capital Grille

Came here for lunch and was seated right away!
I got the steak frites, rosemary french fries with a French onion soup. It was excellent. Everything tasted great and fresh.
The staff were very nice and always kept our waters refilled and the restaurant was nice and clean. Would definitely come back.

The Capital Grill on The Plaza in Kansas City did a fantastic job. I booked a table for six and a table for 12 on New Years Eve at 3:30 pm. The Hostesses Sarah and Kim were able to accommodate our group and place us together... we had a large group! Our server, Brett, did a great job handling everyone's request.  This location was awesome, and that's why we have made this a NYE tradition the last few years.

Top notch service: incredibly attentive, friendly, but not overbearing. Kept wine glasses full and both of us very happy.

Appetizers were fantastic, steak was cooked perfectly, and the sides were hearty and decadent. Overall very happy with my birthday dinner!

Dinner at The Capital Grille was everything we hope for in a fine dining experience. We started with Tuna Tartare with Avacado Mango and Siracha Ceasar salad, Gorgonzola crusted dry aged KC Strip with Cabernet reduction, sides of Sam's mashed Potatoes and Lobster Mac n Cheese and ended with Chocolate Espresso Cake. It was a wonderful dinner with friends.

Our first time at the Capital Grille last night! I got a last minute reservation for me and my husband and we weren’t sure what to expect. They had good reviews and are always busy, so that’s usually a good sign. Because of it being Christmas weekend, the plaza was full of cars and it took us a little longer than expected to get parked. I called the restaurant to make sure we could still get a table and they told us to come in. We got to the restaurant and several groups came in after us, all waiting to be seated. However, service is so quick and well organized they had us and all the groups seated in 10 minutes. This place’s service is like a well oiled machine. They sat us in a small room near the restrooms, which was nice because it was quieter than the bar area of the restaurant. I had no idea capital grille was so large! Takes up the whole block!! Our waiter, Corey, was perfect. He was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Our water glasses were always full, we never were waiting for drinks, and there were also additional staff checking tables too. Even how they served the bread: they went in order of how we were sat. The waiter had bread for 3 tables and instead of just serving us and then the tables to our left, he went one by one by the order we had sat down. Lastly, the food was incredible. I got the sirloin and lobster tails. Lobster melted in your mouth, homemade butter is to die for, and steaks were SO tender! We will definitely be back and I can tell it’s a Kansas City tradition to go there, now I know why!! One of a kind place.

Mr. Gyros Greek Food & Pastries

Tried the Rice Bowl with Gyro.  It was good but I really wish the left the Gyro sliced vs Chopped up in scraps. Please have the option of chopped vs sliced. Plenty of vegetables and sauce.

The staff was very pleasant & friendly. We all made conversation & they made recommendations.
The facility was beautiful & a nice atmosphere. I was quite happy with how clean everything looked including the bathrooms. As someone who knows the restaurant business I’m regularly disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of places, not the case here.

I would like the tzatziki to be more cucumber.

The service here sucks! I bought the apple pie baklava. The sign said you can have it warmed but the lady with the black curly hair said we don’t usually do this and then said she is barely going to warm it in a rude tone. I’ll take my money elsewhere. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this type of service here. Customers are nice and they reply rudely.

The woman working the counter was rude and my steak pita not only barely had any meat on it, but it was burnt and dried out. The lentil soup also had maybe two small specks of feta. I usually goto the Overland Park one and will not make the mistake of coming to this one ever again.

I arrived to Mr. Gyros around 1:30 and I got the lunch special. There wasn't much of a line in the food came out fairly quickly. The food is always constant and doesn't disappoint. But the only thing I would request is to bring back the Sriracha hot sauce.

Walmart Supercenter

Nice Walmart. They keep the store clean and in good order. The staff I have met are always friendly.

Food area selection is pretty good. There are nice fresh vegetables and fruit choices that are usually good quality.

A huge fly inside the bread packaging at Walmart on 15700 location on 9/25. It caught my attention since it was buzzing pretty aggressively inside the bag. I can imagine fruit flies on produce but not blue fly inside the bread package.
Walmart, please improve the quality and inspection of your products. This is unacceptable.

During my recent visit to the new Walmart branch, I was impressed by its cleanliness and the exceptional assistance provided by the staff in helping me find the items I needed. This store stands out as one of the cleanest Walmarts I have ever visited across the entire USA. The combination of a well-maintained environment and helpful personnel made my shopping experience notably positive.

I have had good services from their Auto services for tire rotations and oil change.. but their management is pathetic. They would not hesitate to deny you an appointment, even with a valid evidence of online schedule, links, etc.. they have the audacity to tell, they have no control how Walmart system works.. sorry about your appointment.

This is our favorite Walmart! We drive from KCMO to shop here and pass by another Walmart (133rd and State Line is terrible)to get here! It’s the best cleanest and has the friendliest employees!!

The Cheesecake Factory

I have been here several times and it is always great! They menu features a variety of food, including pasta, burgers, fish, and more. They serve complimentary sourdough and brown bread to each table as an appetizer, and between that and the size of the meals, you can easily bring home leftovers for a second meal. True to the name, there are  dozens of types of cheesecake available. I recommend the Oreo Dream Extreme cheesecake, it is very rich with chocolate.

It's been a minute or two(maybe 15 yrs?) since visiting the Plaza Cheesecake Factory location, and we were glad we made the jump to revisit.
Parking at the top of the garage always gives you a nice view of the Plaza in KC, and during Christmas time, that view can't be beat.
Our reserved table was ready right on time, and on this Monday night, the place was full.
Samantha served us right away, and her  knowledge of the menu was quite apparent.
Our drinks and apps appeared like magic and the fried cheese was banging tasty.
Our dinners were huge and delicious.
The cheesecake I'm afraid had to be boxed up as the dinners and drinks left no room in our bellies.
Thank you, Cheesecake Factory, for being just as we remembered, and next time, we will absolutely not wait as long between visits.

Quick seating for a Saturday afternoon. You get unlimited bread and butter. Bread was fresh and warm. Had the Smokehouse BBQ burger with a side of fries and a salad. I didn't realize a side salad was $7.99. Definitely higher than expected. That burger was cooked perfectly at medium well done. Seasoned just right. Took home a pineapple upside down cheesecake and it was rich. Enjoyed it for 3 nights. Got a bananas one for my Dad and he loved it.
