McDonald's

Employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They brought the food to us at our table. We went at around 11:30am on 10/12/23 and the woman at the counter was top notch. Made me have all the feels from McDonald's of yesterday.

I'm sitting in the drive thru at the speaker where I've been sitting the last 8 min.  There is a car beside me at the speaker in lane one, the same one that has been sitting there since I pulled up.  There are no cars in front of us, fast food is supposed to be just that.  That's why you pay for the convenience

Traveling through and ordered, the food was sloppy, and wrong . Fries were fresh ! Bathrooms was dirty, no toilet paper and toilets full of unflushed paper towels. The service was dry as hell, not even a greeting. Screens didn’t work and no menus were present, kiosks were unavailable. Definitely don’t recommend. 🤷🏾‍♀️

This location has made a lot of improvements in food quality and customer service from my previous review, but I believe it still has work to do. I compare this location to other McDonald's locations I have been to, and it still seems to lack the positives that other location hold. The food consistency is better than it was, and workers are more kind and helpful. There are still times, however, that the food can be off.

Hate leaving negative reviews but DANG.

Waited a while in line (it wasn’t very busy). Realized I didn’t get my 2 happy meal juices or sauce.
My #10 burger was burnt and gross.
I ordered two milkshakes, didn’t get straws for either of them.
One looked like it wasn’t mixed up at all, my child kept saying ew when he drank it. Took a sip myself and it wasn’t chocolate, just a TON of caramel. I just had to throw it out. I’ve given this McDonalds multiple chances, always let me down.
Save your money for DQ or Jack’s, y’all.

Starbucks

I asked the server with help from Juan Palacios for two Grandy Americano Coffees and ended up with two medium capuchinos.
Poor service in International Airport.

Unfortunately it’s the only Starbucks in town, but all the employees i’ve had are polite and understanding, it’s well appreciated.

I just find out that they close it at 8:00pm, not at 10:00 as it's suposed to.

Starbucks La Rosita

It's got a nice terrace, people there is very nice, HOWEVER how dare them not to have AC, especially in this city!! Also, very reduced space inside; tables are extremely small and uncomfortable. Given the location and the brand, I'd had expected more.

Friendly and clean place with a nice atmosphere.

HoneyBaked Ham of Aiken

This was our first time trying this place. The employee was friendly and helpful, and the bread on the sandwiches was very good, however, the sandwiches themselves were a bit lackluster. They did not have much meat, and the other fillings were sparse as well. I ordered the signature honey baked sandwich with no lettuce or tomatoes. It seems as if the amount of filling was not nearly enough for the thickness of the bread.  Overall, probably not something we would eat again.

Never eaten Honey Baked Ham and wanted to give it a try being new to the area. The restaurant was empty when we got there and the gentleman behind the counter greeted us. We asked for suggestions on the best food (honestly I thought they would have had more than sandwiches) and ordered our lunch. We got 2 sandwiches, canned soda (our choice) and a bag of chips each. Our total was right around $30. I thought these are going to be huge sandwiches for this price, i was wrong. They both had a few pieces of meat, a slice of cheese, some lettuce, tomato and whatever condiment was on them. That was it. I could have made bigger and better at home but this was literally a basic sandwich you would make at home and was nothing special. I was so disappointed in it and will not be going back. It is a shame because the employee who helped us was SO nice, but everything else was just basic and not worth the price.

Fyi the best part was the maui sweet onion chips. They are now my favorite chip.

We heard the sandwiches were good so we decided to visit for the first and LAST time. We walked in and were greeted by conversation of the 2 employees acting like 6 year old boys calling each other names. I ordered a sandwich and asked what comes on it and he said I don't know and when I asked if they had a sandwich with avocado he told me Moe's makes a good sandwich and I could get avocado there. My husband ordered a  sandwich as well the classic ham...we made them both a meal and it was $30. When the food arrived to the table it looked like a 3 year old made it. There was more sauce and Condiments than there was meat.
The building inside looked like they were either moving in or out just stuff stacked up everywhere.  The CO2 was out on the Coke machine and the employees stood outside smoking the entire time we were there absolutely no interaction. We will not be returning

Let me just start off by saying that Erick k. was a delight he was very kind and helpful when helping me place my order. This was the tavern club and it was soooooo delicious 🤤 😋 make sure to ask for Erick when you are at this location u won’t be disappointed. 10/10

Like always it was very good. Can't wait till next time. And the people working there was great.

Pulled up, ordered a grimace shake and the person taking the order said it was really good with an eerie smile. His name was Max and he kept telling me how good it was with an eerie tone and weird smile. It was great but there was something about that employee that threw me off but he was cool.

I used to spend 20 to 30 dollars a day but was told I was loitering and was no longer welcome. This is owned by a phobic man who cited my "falsies" and barbie dolls as scary.

This mcdonalds in clarkston is always good. The food is always fresh. The people are always friendly. In the year that I have lived here and almost weekly stops here every single time has been great. Pretty impressive actually.

Almost everytime I've gone to Mcdonalds here in Clarkston the experience has been great. This specific day (9/8/23) started out the same. I took my son out as a special treat, he is 10 but still likes the playplace. So we asked the cashier (Alice)if it was open, she kindly let us know that it was about to close. It wasn't that big of a deal though. We sat down in the dining area and waited for our food. When she brought out our food other people with kids started flooding in, so she said since a bunch of other kids were going in then we'd be fine to go in. We figured screw it why not. When we walked into the playplace there was a young gal mopping the floor and she said " just so you know we are closing in 5 minutes"  so I informed her of what we were told and her whole attitude changed. The other lady with her kids told me that she (the mopping lady)was counting down like "you have 8 minutes 6 minutes 5 minutes" and so on. I get it being on a timed schedule in fast food sucks but just like every job in customer service unexpected things happen but you have to adjust. Not saying anything about the mopping lady because I understand why she was irritated. Alice had great customer service the mopping lady could use a little work. I'm sure she will figure it out who knows could have just been a bad day.

Our son was excited to find out that they still have a Play Place!  Other than that, it was a friendly experience with the familiar McDonald's menu.

Didn’t know I ordered ketchup burgers.. when I tell you these things were sopping in ketchup, I mean literally dripping everywhere.
I mean I know it’s McDonald’s and not a 5 star restaurant but seriously. 😳

The lady who answered the drive thru was short, disrespectful, and rude with her words. I refused to complete my order. Customer service retraining should be used to follow up to correct this issue. 9/7/23 8:45pm.

Every time I place an order I either missed an item, got the complete wrong order or the extras/changes were incorrect.

Meanwhile I drive the extra mile to Pullman Rd. Not using this one again.

Beth doesn't wear gloves while handling food after coming in from outside, when confronted she said she doesn't have to wear gloves... She did not wash her hands after coming in from outside before handing food.

I had ordered three shakes, guy taking my order confirmed back to me three shakes. Upon receiving my order the man at the window only gave me two and after asking him politely if there was supposed to be a third he got angry and told me that I only ordered two. He told me in an aggressive voice “If you want another you can pull around and pay for it. Im not giving you one.” He was probably mid 20’s with arm tattoos. Never felt disrespected like that before and will not be returning.

Freshe Poke

This was my first experience at a Poke place. I had no idea how to order. Staff was so helpful explaining everything. He asked questions about toppings, making sure we would be happy with our meal. I chose the Ginger Shrimp bowl, my husband chose the Spicy Ahi Tuna. Place was very clean and food was very fresh.
If your like me and never had poke, it’s deconstructed sushi. You can choose rice or lettuce base and then your toppings.
The only down fall was when my husband took a seat (pun intended). The chair leg literally snapped and he fell to the floor. When he grabbed the next chair it felt just as weak. Third chair was a winner. Just be careful when you take a seat and enjoy the food.

RY GOOD, VERY FRESH , VERY CLEAN!Holy cow was this place good. It was the first time we have eaten at Freshe Poke. The gentlemen and lady that were working there were very helpful and very polite. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, seriously it was probably the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in! Everything was very Very Fresh. The two employees told us all about the place how to order and what things were, as it was our first time there we didn't know anything about it so they took the time to explain everything which was helpful and appreciated. I was shocked at the amount of food in a bowl. I couldn't even finish it and I'm known for being able to eat lots of food. So having to much to eat and actually being able to bring food home was awesome, because I now get to enjoy the food for a snack later. Freshe Poke is the best Poke I've had since I was in Hawaii! I highly recommend eating at Freshe poke! I can't wait to go back and eat there again so i can try something else on the menu because it all sounded good. It was hard to pick something!

Delicious poke and a great price. Seemed like they had more ingredients to add without a premium cost that other places would charge for. I will definitely be returning!

The food was delicious, much like other Fresh Poke locations. This location was definitely the cleanest—everything was pristine! The service was also very good. The only negative is the atmosphere was little inanimate, as there was no music playing. The place was eerily quiet. But again, the food was delicious and well worth the visit.

The food was overly saturated with sauce. The cashier was unable to remake the order because a a manager isn’t available. She couldn’t even tell me when they’ll be available nor could she issue a refund because she doesn’t have a manager. This is ridiculous.

Check your order before you leave the drive-thru. Ordered a big mac, extra sauce, well they forgot the most important piece to a burger, the MEAT! See pictures for details and no, I didn't ask for all bun. luckily I also ordered a couple double cheese burgers so I turned my meatless big mac into a McGangBang. 🤌🇺🇸

I deliver for DoorDash and my experiences from here are mostly positive. There is one employee that, no matter if the store is bust or not, just won't help me and I end up standing in front waiting for her to finish doing some task that she could easily do when I leave. For us gig workers, time is money and having to wait for that is super frustrating. Filling the level dispenser is important but not if you're making us wait for you to do it rather than hand us the order and then resuming your task.

I ordered food for Mcdelivery and received wrong food the manager refused to help get me the correct order. I spent $30 on food from this store and they messed up my order refused to fix their mistake. Do not order on the app for this store and have your order be wrong they won't help fix this at all. They seal the bag and yet expect the order to be not their fault when you receive it when they are the ones who seal the bag. They will not help at all and manager is not helpful at all. The store will not take responsibility for anything that they do even with a reicept. Bad place to order from.

Honestly not a fan due to the kiosk taking jobs away from teens, but kids love mcd's! I was traveling with my son's high school band, and this was one of our options for that meal. Can't say if they were friendly, I dealt with a kiosk, which I absolutely hate, I'd rather deal with a zit faced teen! Lol  that option wasn't available though, no one at the till. Why ask me what soda I want if I'm just handed an empty cup! I purposefully got a different soda because I hate computers taking jobs! It isn't better! Bring back personality to mcds!!!

I go here a lot for something quick after working closing shift because it's the only fast food place still open after 11, they're usually pretty good about getting food out fast and making it well, at least as far as McDonald's is concerned. There are issues with mobile ordering, however. As someone who can only travel by bike, I am told to order online via curbside pickup, however they close that option at 11:30 even though the drive through is open until midnight, so I have to call them and explain fairly often. This isn't an issue if you aren't planning on getting food close to midnight, however, and overall it's a fairly decent location with nice people most of the time.

I ordered a McRib sandwich and an ice coffee, it was good. Customer service was good. I do recommend getting more staff to work at night, being that you have a lot of customer's. The wait time is ridiculous, no fault to the employees, but fault to hiring managers trying to save money, and work the hell out of the 2 or 3 people you have working and you don't pay them enough to be working them like you do to save money.

First McDonald's have been in a long time where the service has been good. In fact, very good. Food is still mediocre. But they were on the ball. Nice polite. I thought I was possibly in a different kind of restaurant
Ice tea and fries

This is the worst McDonald’s ever. We placed an order and we got up and they told us we couldn’t get our food and we had already paid. They never refunded us. DO NOT GO HERE it’s horrible. The bathrooms are disgusting, and only 1 stall works. Horrible horrible horrible. Don’t waste your time here.

My brother and I were in I75 heading to Miami and decided to stop and get something to eat. We were actually looking for the Burger King but we couldn't find it so we stopped at the McDonald's. The place was clean and the staff friendly. We got there too late for breakfast so we settled for lunch.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. I would give 0 stars if I could. There was a line out to the road at 7am I waited in over 10 minutes and nobody was taking the person in fronts order so I called the store to make sure they were open and he said they were and I let him know about the line and that an order needed to be taken. Then he told me that they have a lot of stuff to do this morning and hung up on me. Then when they finally did their job, they didn’t have what I wanted to order. If you hate your job so much then quit. The man who answered the phone at 7:30am on September 28th is the worst excuse of a McDonald’s employee I’ve ever seen. Disgusting and rude.

Okay, first off, do not let the outside of this place fool you. Yeah the building looks like somebody is movin bricks, but REGARDLESS, the inside feels open, fresh, and calming. Not to mention up to date! The cashier was very helpful as it was our first time (order your bowl first, then boba, and I highly recommend jumping straight into a custom one, just pick what you like). The options were not limited by any means, and the price for 2 bowls and 2 boba + some addons was an even 40 and change. And the taste? I quite literally don't even wanna describe it, go see for yourself!

Came here for a light dinner. The location was easy but the parking was tricky to me because they have metered parking right outside. I ended up parking in the lot behind and hoping for the best.

Like other restaurants of this type it’s easy to get the  ingredients into whatever overall dish you want to eat.  I went for the chicken as my protein and regular brown rice. Huge assortment of toppings and they even have crushed Cheetos!

I can highly recommend eating here!

Food is delicious 😋 it seems like most people take it to go. The atmosphere is overall pleasant.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Columbia but the quality of the food has really gone down in the past year — the vegetables taste old/sour, the sauces are bland, the tuna is usually frozen still, and the rice is not sushi rice. I don’t even go to this location anymore, I go to Forrest drive instead even though it’s super out of the way.

Quality proteins (salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp). Love the sauces (they have 2 not on the menu). Sushi rice was great. Other mixers were delicious. My favorites are the seaweed salad and squid salad.  The crunchy toppings were interesting to include Cheetos dust which was stale when had it. Very interesting drink options. Decor and interior was wonderful and clean. Staffing was courteous. Clean facilities. Very roomy. Parking was awkward, why is there metered parking out this far from downtown? You can park in the back up the hill to avoid paying for parking.
