McDonald's

Decent staffing with a sense of professionalism. Clean restrooms. Clean and presentable lobby. Lobby hours are kinda late so that's good for customers who want to come in and sit down for a meal. Upgraded lobby with kiosk for ordering food.

I think all locations are headed in that direction. Progress is a good thing. Moving forward for more opportunities to better serve.

Just ordered a large sweet tea no ice
At the drive thru but instead got unsweetened tea no ice gave back to the gal then she gave again the same thing unsweetened tea no ice three times this happened until I just got fed up and asked for large Dr Pepper no ice
Even spoke in Spanish to hurry up and what’s taken so long
It’s a simple order again in Spanish
And top of this there was an extensive line because their sweet tea isn’t sweetened

This McDonald’s is incredible for kids. The play place is like no other I have seen before!! It’s a must go for any parent.

Got some breakfast for the kids before school and ordered more than $40 worth of food once I got home after the kids got to school and went to get my sandwich realized that I didn't get mine so I tried to call to see if they would just refund me over the phone with my credit card that I paid for the order with still have my receipt and this was within the hour of ordering the food. Nobody answered the phone so I went back down there for $4.50 and one of the managers there did not want to refund me because I "didn't call". I showed her my call log on my phone and said I tried to call rang for two minutes and nobody answered so I hung up. She acted as though I was trying to hustle her out of some money or something and only wanted to give me $1, if that, I told her she was going to give me my whole money back and if I was trying to hustle her out of some money, I would've made sure it was more than $5 since the total was more than $40. She told me "next time she wouldn't do it". There will be no next time. If you continue to be rude to customers like that, they won't keep going to your establishment.

We would frequent this McDonald's over the winter and the play area was never heated. We just went there today when it was hot outside and they don't have air conditioning in the play area either! At least in the winter we could wear jackets. Do not go to this McDonald's on a really hot or really cold day. It is a real bummer because this one has the best play area out of any in the area.

Really good! I’m sad we don’t have this place in Chicago. The AB smoothie was amazing and the bowls are so good!

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Terrible customer service experience.  Received the wrong order . Did not get an apology and instead was told to get out. Sometimes, all you need is to admit you made a mistake and get an apology to fix a negative situation. Will no longer shop here.

It’s definitely changed since they re- opened. Atmosphere isn’t as cheery and fun. Staff used same gloves on cash register to make food and handle bananas etc. disappointed for sure.

Yummmmm! We got 3 of the Bowls.

The Pumpkin Almond Bowl was unbelievably delicious, and mind you I'm not a pumpkin/ pumpkin spice kinda person, but this bowl was so outstanding, the crisp apple with the pumpkin and all of the others flavors came together so very well. Definitely recommend this bowl (all from my one bite!)

The Açaí Berry Bowl is a easy go to because it's always delicious.

The Dragon Fruit Bowl was bursting with flavor just as the color implies. From the one bite I had from this bowl, it was very delicious and I'd order one myself next time.

The bowls are huge by the way, plenty for 2 people to share, IMO.

We all had leftovers we took home. I ate mine about 2 days later after freezing it and it still good.

Customer service was good, they were patient and understanding.

Only recommendation would be ensuring the outside tables are kept clean. They were horrendous when we sat down. We asked an employee to please come and clean them and they very promptly did.

They always get my food wrong, they did it again this morning, got the entire order wrong and when I came back to replace it they took my receipt, gave me the bag, so I couldn’t check the order. I checked the bag, right items, except that they forgot the drinks, and the straws and napkins. And most of the food was still made incorrectly. 0 stars. Jesus Christ what a fumble, didn’t get anything for my trouble.

Picked up a mobile order today and had hair in my burger. Didn't see it until I had already had a few bites 🤢 only good thing is all the drive-through employees were very nice

Ordered curbside but had to head inside anyway. Order came out quick but was incomplete. The server didn't wait as I called our, and once inside still had a hard time getting assistance. Once I did, still had to wait for other orders to get the rest of the meal. Also.... who bags fries like this (photo: laying flat, opposite directions).

I had a coupon for free fries 🍟 and drink 🥤when you buy a large sandwich. I tried the crispy chicken sandwich, but thought it was no match for Chick-fil-A. I still love the fries and a Coke!

The overnight cashier girl has the absolute worst attitude. That mixed with a wait time of almost 35 minutes for an online order, guaranteeing my food is cold before I even reach the window. How can they cry for better pay with the kind of services they poorly provide and we pay for.

What a surprise, all my fries were upside down and cold. Disgrace.

So let me first say that the customer service here varies wildly with time of day: the breakfast crew do a mostly acceptable job, the lunch and dinner crew phone it in as hard as ppssible. They raise the bar in how bad it can get.

Let's talk about my experiences at this location, although there's not a good location I've found anywhere in Colorado Springs. How about the photos I've attached? Notice the cheese isn't melted? That's because the patty was cold. “Fresh” quarter pounder patty was cold, and tge entire sandwich was served cold.

But hey, I actually have McDonald's crew member experience and know that there's a step before setting the product in the hot holding area where the sandwich is microwaved to final temperature. Missed a step, I guess. Also, with a temperature of maybe 50°f the patty was in the danger zone so the food can't possibly be getting held at a safe temperature.

So here's something fun I noticed once as I stood at at the counter waiting about five minutes to buy a drink (I just wanted a drink, only had cash) before someone asked if I had an online order: the person not correctly wearing a uniform, with more than one set of gloves (obvious because of the blue visible along with the clear ones), lazily setting a poorly wrapped McChicken into the hot holding area. Mind you, the reason it was poorly wrapped is because this person couldn't be bothered to set down the iced coffee which would get a casual sip while this person was preparing the food.

I could go on, but there's a limit to how long these reviews are allowed to be.

We placed a very large order for a team of children and were missing two combo meals out of the order. My husband called and let them know the night it happened. He told them I would be in to pick up what was missing in a few days. Called today 6 times before I showed up, and no one answered. (and no, they weren't busy, 5 workers were just standing around the register when I got there) Finally just drove to their store to get the missing orders. The lady manager (I think she was a manager) was rude and acted like I was maybe lying and seemed bothered. Received the orders and the fries were cold and stale, and I know it was done on purpose.  Finally learned a lesson to just never go back to that location. There are ALWAYS problems and food missing.

Mainly I just wanted to add more pictures of the playground, as you can see it's been replaced. I went to this McDonald's because I saw some really cool photos of the playplace on Google maps, but this is the current playground (as of January 2023)

I gave this McDonald's 3 stars because the customer service was horrible and the lobby was dirty. Oh yeah, and they got my order wrong too.

Don't even bother coming here it's trash. The doors are all locked at 5 pm and there's kids in the playroom. I've been waiting in the drive thru for like 30 minutes now and they're only using one window instead of two. There's so many people behind me. It's been 50 minutes now.  👎

I just visited this lovely McDonald’s and when ordering from the drive thru, I was distraught by the rude customer service I encountered. The young Latina female with long black hair was exceptionally rude , no greeting or nothing! Just a “ when you’re ready “ and then when I got to the window, the woman with the curly blue hair and cheap eyelashes was also very rude. However the visit was saved by the manager, she was extremely polite and pleasant!

McDonald's off south Colorado boulevard. Denver Colorado. Because the Colorado Rockies win yesterday. I received a free 10-piece nugget through my app. Great Staff . Excellent service 👍

Ordered two fries but only received one. Didn’t realize that until back at home. I suggest verifying everything before leaving for pickup orders.

Edit: bumping up one star because a manager reached out with an offer. I was able to use the offer even though they were out of both bottled water and chocolate milk for an order.

Food is usually fresh which is nice.
However, whatever size fry you want, get the smaller size, that's what you'll get regardless of what you order. I usually get a large, but stopped at this location bc no matter the time of day I have gone my fries are a size smaller, in the large container, but not even close to filled so I just get the medium, which is more than a small, but not quite a medium....every single time. Other than that, great service and fresh food

Asked for no onions and they put them in between the patties! I’ve never seen a McDonald’s do this even when onions are ordered. It was intentional and the people of this McDonald’s DESERVE to be replaced by robots. Can’t wait until fast food becomes automated and orders are made correctly.

Tried ordering through my McDonald’s app at this location today. I have never had any other issues with Amy other location. My husband (Hispanic) went to pick it up and provided the code and everything and the woman told him that someone already picked it up and it wasn’t her problem that they didn’t have our food. She was very very rude to him. But yet when I (white) go inside instead they say that they have the order and it will be ready soon? Man at the front counter was very very nice. However these women need an attitude check.

Just got off a hospital night shift and went here to get food. Was ignored by staff for about 5 minutes and heard nothing but Spanish talk in the and could see Spanish speaking employees. Had to get an employees attention, when they did come over I was rudly told "you can use the kiosks to place order" I said I had a code and was told "kiosk will take code". They don't so I walked out, will not use this McDonald's again unless English speaking staff is working.

Went through the drive thru on 2/27/2022 at 6:50pm. Paid for my food. As soon as I drove to the second window the lady in a yellow shirt was upset that my Diet Coke I ordered was a coke. She then proceeded to give me my order. Normally I would check it but my daughter is sick. Order was a Happy Meal, #2b Large with a Diet Coke and all I got was a half order of a large fry and the happy meal. The fries are old and dry. I am tired of subpar quality from franchises but workers demanding more money.

At 6pm this evening I stopped by this McDonalds to use my survey BOGO sandwich receipt. In case you have never done this, it's survey you fill out on the website and it gives you a code you write on the receipt to give you a buy one get one free sandwich. They were extremely rude to me and told me they do not accept it. They shut the window on me after I showed them what the receipt described about the survey. They didn't want to listen at all. One of them actually was folding my receipt to keep it and I asked for it back. I told them I would go to the other McDonald's about a mile away. They gladly took it. I would like to know the owner's name and let her know that this happened.

Food came poorly packeged and Greasy - cheese was melted beyond tasting. Even though ordered fries without salt, came to us hot and saltier than ever.  I did a mobile pick up but the cashier said they didn't have my order and to come inside. In fact they did have my order and ignored my request for extra napkins and some salt. Just not a good experience for an order that should have been quick and easy and accurate

On a Thursday afternoon, I went through the drive thru and waited just to get food that was almost not edible. I've had a few not so great meals before but this was the worst McDonald's meal that I have had in my 53 years of life which is why I am being very honest and intentional to give this location a bad review. You've been warned.

Food was fine, but I had to request ketchup and napkins. There were napkin dispensers, but both were empty and crammed in a corner. Same with drinks- most McDonald's have self-serve fountains, but not here. (Guessing that was removed during Covid and never re-installed?) And this location is very difficult to get in/out. Clean restrooms but no paper towels, only blow dryers. Do yourself a favor and go a couple miles down the freeway.

Worst customer service! I asked for fine in, they bagged it to go, didn't give any napkins and then blatantly ignored me and another customer when we tried to ask for napkins because they had NO condiments in the dining area!

They screwed up my order so bad but this was the first McDonald's I had ever been to in a long time that actually greeted you with a smile. It was noticeable. Never seen anything like it. Would go back if my mcchickens didn't get messed up 😭

Visited this location last week around 7:30pm. We were the only customers inside and the drive thru appeared slow. Theres tons of seating inside but almost every table was dirty.

At this particular store you have to use the self-order kiosks. No biggie. When our order was called I asked for one sauce from the employee. They lady dished out the most obvious eye-roll when I asked. It pained her to help. Lol.

The food is what you imagine from a McDoanlds. Solid but still  McDonalds.

Could not understand the young lady on the drive through speaker. Asked her twice to speak more clearly. Couldn't tell if she was mumbling or stifling a laugh. Finally pulled over and ordered with the app. My order was very slow coming out and was not very warm when I got it. I know better than stopping at this location. My mistake.

McDonald's food. Soda tasted weird and was a bit messy as all self service areas are.  Most of the tables could use a wipe down.  They have some cute decorations and flowers on the tables.

They have an awesome indoor play place.

I ordered the buy one get one for $1.  last time I got a Spicy McChicken, when I asked for the regular McChicken.  So this time I specified and the person at the window said what you are asking for is the Mc Crispy... ok whatever... only to find out the McCrispy is $5.39 first off... the sorry attempt and a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich was awful, and not worth $5 or even $1.  I receive a barley warm patty with two pickle stacked on top of each other.  The sandwich was so old the pickles saturated the breading on the chicken patty.  So I didn't get my sandwich AND I was charged another $4 for a sandwich that was inedible, I threw it out!  There goes my $5 and my lunch :(

Sitting here right now waiting on food. Whole restaurant is filthy. Not a single clean table in the place.  Manager is sitting right across from me on her computer chatting with employees about schedules. Nobody even attempting to clean the restaurant.

Food came out. Ice cold cheese sauce on my burger.  Here at 1PM MST on Saturday 8 July.

I usually love this place but I won't be buying nuggets anymore ever again from McDonalds. I got nuggets twice in a week and both boxes the nuggets were very different. Realized they changed the nuggets! Disgusting. Now they are super thin, dry like cardboard. Not hot and fresh either. Gone are those juicy, thick nuggets. RIP. Threw them out. Avoid the nuggets, they changed them and now they are gross and paper thin. So disappointed in this change I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I came to pick up a delivery order & they have a monitor near the pick-up area. But they are not utilizing the monitor at all, which would have made things a bit more organized for all the people waiting to pick up orders.

Slow service with no direction for those needing to place an order inside. So many workers wandered around the registers, but no one acknowledged any of the customers.

I go to this McDonald’s after work bc they’re 24/7 and it’s on my way home. The person that works the drive through at night in a blue shirt/hoodie? gives you major attitude is sounds super annoyed to be taking an order until you get to the window to pay. They’re always out of soda and always a 10 minute wait at night

Only one word comes to mind for just how bad the food and service was at this place... disgusting.

Very friendly staff. Watched as a problem arose and the team working together to find a solution, which one person fixed without fixing by offering an alternative while another member of the crew worked on the actual problem until reaching completion. Either way, it was resolved, and the customer left satisfied with their original choice. Thumbs way up! Keep up the good work, and thank you. It's been a while since I've seen a crew work together so well.

Love me a mcChicken and Mcflurry. Do wish they were 1$ but that’s just the times we live in.

You have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting yourself into when you plan to eat a meal from McDonald’s, so let’s not kid ourselves here, but there’s something so good about McDonald’s breakfast on the weekend. In the words of my girlfriend, “Sometimes you just need plastic cheese and a greasy sausage to start the day right.” My Sausage McGriddle was fantastic. Coffee - perfect. Girlfriend said things were busy, but the staff was hustling and she got our food quickly. Love to see it! 5 Stars

I would say over the last 2 years, it has been hit or miss. Biggest problem was management. I'm sure they have a high turnover. Which affects the quality of service and ultimately the quality and presentation of the food. But tonight it was pretty much spot on. And I'm talking in every facet of my interaction with them. They gave my dog Luke a pup cup of whipped cream. They even offered him a dog bone. I thought that was nice! The food was fresh the sandwich on a brioche bun and it was well prepared well-placed just the right amount of toppings and wrapped neatly. The drive-up person was just so sweet and polite and really nice to Luke. This is the first review I've given that has been Sterling for that store. Let's just hope that they keep going the way they're going. Give it a try I think you'll be impressed! 👍🏽✌🏽🙂

When I went in to get food, multiple people were standing at the counter waiting to order and one of the ladies Working there didn't want to take their orders and insist that they used the kiosk even though that is part of her job. Then once I got my order. I asked for some jelly, and the lady was not only rude to me. But she ignored me three times.

The manager running the drive thru was very rude and accused me of yelling at her. I wasn't yelling, but when you continue to talk over someone that is asking for something, I had to ask 3 times for something. This isn't the first time that she has been rude with me during a visit.  Customer service is awful anymore and sadly this establishment has lost my business.

Went in there for an interview today (September 13) I had scheduled on their website at 8:30 am, and got there 5 minutes early to let them know I was there. The worker behind the counter rudely told me that the manager wasn't there yet and to sit down and wait. The tables were dirty I have to point out. I see the manager arrive at 8:40 and he took a couple of people's orders and glances at me a couple of times after the "rush" was over. At that point I'd been there for 35 minutes and decided to leave. They'll make you waste your time waiting for an interview that doesn't take place at the time it says. Rude workers, dirty place. I'm glad I decided to leave.
