Tasty gem at Big Bend and Meramec Station. Shared the Greek salad with my daughter and I got the chicken gyro sandwich on pita bread and my daughter got the chicken kebab sandwich on freshly made house bread. The Greek salad was very fresh. The dressing was olive oil and lemon juice which made it feel lighter but the salad needed some seasoning so we used some salt and pepper. The sandwiches are Huge. The meat on both tasted outstanding. The tzatziki sauce compliments all the ingredients. The sandwich is very filling and so delicious. The grilled chicken on the kebab had great flavors. Unfortunately we didn’t have room to try their baklava. There was a very sweet lady that gave us incredible service. I like the vibe of this restaurant. You can have an intimate dinner or a large group dinner. I’ll be back soon.
We were pleasantly surprised!
Our dinner was amazing! Hummus and pita superb! The gyro sandwich was large enough to share and oh-so-good! We also got the Adona-kebob, which was fantastic!
They had 2 large parties and many very out orders so the service was a bit off, but we'll definitely return and try again.
First visit to Troy Mediterranean Cuisine, and everything was delicious. The gyro meat was tender and not overly seasoned, the fries were outstanding, and the falafel was excellent. The spinach and cheese somsa was grilled perfectly and was larger than we expected. This small restaurant is a hidden gem!
Yo this place is great! If you want a meal straight out of a Turkish grandmother’s kitchen this is the spot. I went through 20 napkins on the gyro! Stuffed cabbage and dolmas was killer! Great homemade flavorful food here. I want to use their homemade bread for my pillows and bed.
My wife and I come here every month or two because we live in the area, and it never disappoints. I really love their plov, which has delicious slow-cooked and tender chunks of lamb. I also like the mixed grill, lagman soup, and hearty, fresh bread. I moved to the area from Queens, which has a lot of Uzbek/Central Asian restaurants, and to me this is as good as any of them. As an aside, the service is very friendly and the dining room/bathrooms are spotlessly clean.
