Soriana Súper Encinos

Their machine was not working. We used 5 different cards and they told us they were not working. They said it was an issue with our cards where it was not. After 30 minutes they forced us to pay cash. In the end, one of the cards had been charged and when we came to explain the issue they were beyond rude, refusing to solve the issue. After a while, the woman just turn her back and left without a word. We will never go back there. Just a big band of thieves.

I have to give it 3 stars for 2 strong reasons. The variety is up there with places like Costco. But what holds this place back is the lines. It's just not right, just like stealing is not right. The lines are offensive & disrespectful to the customer as if they are saying "who cares, let em wait, they have to get groceries." 2 incidents have occured with me: once I asked the cashier to call the manager & open other lines as I paid & she SUNG! "NO ES MI RESPONSABILIDAD..." Instead of slapping her I left. She was wrong. Second, the lines were all the way back past the middle cut isle, & when I finally made it to the front, the lady in front of me allowed a man with 1 item to cut & I went OFF. Soriana is at fault for causing these incidents because I cussed both of them out & embarrassed them in front of everyone, changing everyone's experience at Soriana. A fight is going to happen if it already hasn't, & this is TKT, people are getting killed for lesser confrontations. These incidents lead to people getting shot if not inside, in the parking lot.

Its very big and their produce selection is great... but still they miss certain things like gala apples and etc. I find that between this place and smart and final, I am able to get everything I need.

I personally love going to this Soriana because it is convenient to my father-in-law's house and I always find interesting Mexican brands that we just don't get in the U.S. The produce is usually good but there are times when we skip certain items. Their alcohol selection is far cheaper than in the States.

Very helpful staff. Everyone was very friendly. We were visiting from out of town and the cashier used a membership card so we could get the best discounts.
