Soriana Híper

Large supermarket with a great variety of items. Good bakery products and are open for 24 hours. Restroom facilities which are always open. Soriana has a great points (incentive) for you to shop there. We have the Cinemex card, which is easier to get than in Soriana, and use it when we shop there. You get points and use them on you next purchase. I strongly recommend it, if you are going to be in Mexico for a long term. There are many Soriana supermarkets around town. This one has the best prices, so far.

Soriana is just OK as a supermarket. To be honest, I would prefer that Gutierrez supermarket, also from Coahuila, would be present all around Mexico. In Soriana you have to be careful with sales, since they are advertised but on many occasions are not registered at the cashiers point.

They have over ambitious security who are just stupid. On the other hand, I enjoyed telling them loudly and repeatedly today just how foolish they were, before leaving my trolley for them to empty while I went down the road to Walmart where I was able to complete my shopping without any further interruption.

This supermarket need lot of attention because it is located in an excellent place but people don't know it so always it's almost empty, so it's a good choice if you don't want to spend much time in big lines, however cashiers are going to disappoint you because they are really slow and have low or none training.
