The Door & Fence Store

The 2020 derecho damaged my chain link fence and I decided it was time for an upgrade to a 6' wood privacy fence. Admittedly most of Ames needed fence repairs so it was awhile before they could get to me. I would say it was worth the wait though. The fence looks great and I was very pleased with the level of professionalism I received throughout the entire process from estimate, to tear-out, and through installation. Would highly recommend.

Product is excellent and the installers were knowledgeable and detail oriented.  My garage doors fit my house and I am very pleased!

I loved working with Jay and the guys at the Door and fence store. I told them what I wanted, they made the greatest fence for my dogs and I. Easy to work with and a terrific job on the fence.

We had both of our garage doors replaced yesterday.  The service team did a great job.  They needed little to no attention from us.  Got both doors updated nicely in one day.  It did take longer than expected to get the new door delivered but I chalk that up to it being 2020.

The One Cafe

The owners are so nice and friendly to customers and the regulars! Cute cafe. The food is fresh and tastes good! I got the one club, good size sandwich, and tasted good. My husband ordered a poke bowl for the 1st time and enjoyed it. Would come back!

The food was delicious and well portioned! Lots of options for the poke bowl. We got several recommendations and they were awesome. Maybe a bit of background music to really top off the atmosphere otherwise perfect. Highly recommend if you enjoy sushi to try out this restaurant and their bowls!

You have to try the crepes. Always great service and the food never misses!!! Has to be one of my favorite places to eat🤤

Jessie Zhou & Benny Fong have been at this tiny strip mall in the heart of Edmond for ten years. Since March 31st, 2013 they have dedicated a decade of their lives to their cafe, them being the only two employees. Their menu has a range of meals in which they show their superior expertise. Enjoy everything from sushi bowls to crepes to sandwiches to boba tea. Wether you visit once or once a week, they will always remember your name and appreciate your business. You will never find an establishment more dedicated to their customers or their craft.

& for a fun backstory- I have been going here for 4.5 years. they know my name, have been “there” through so many life events, I’ve gotten engaged, married, moved multiple times, had promotions, and they always ask me about each life event and they are genuinely the nicest people i’ve ever met. I know they go on vacation every year for a week during memorial day, they know I typically come in on a monday. they are THE best.

I got a poke bowl from here and everything was so fresh and delicious. I really wish more people knew about this place because the owners are so nice and attentive. They were very patient with me while I was trying to figure out what to order. Definitely will be going here again!!

SKECHERS Warehouse Outlet

I really like my new shoes.  And I always thought we had to use the Skechers website before I realized that some cities have a physical Skechers store that we can go to.

My MIL and I had so much fun here yesterday. We both walled away with 2 new pairs of sneaks and saved quite a bit with the bogo 50% off sale. The clerk was super helpful and seemed genuinely happy when I was happy. Paid attention to my specific needs too. I'll be back!

I had purchased a new pair of the slip ins online Unfortunately my foot isn't made for them. I took them to the outlet on Skelly in Tulsa. The store is clean it's well organized and well stocked. They had a 2nd pair 50% off sale so I was able to exchange the one pair for 2 others. In total I was in and out in under 15 minutes. It's that organized. And I mean so organized the shoes were shelved in order by size and width. So no question about whether they had a shoe or not. The staff were fast and very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Very good quality shoes. Competitive pricing. Low sale prices occasionally on just about everything. A large selection of sporting and dress shoes....very good hiking boots too.

I had to do a exchange I purchased online and exchange them in the store. When I arrived I was greeted by Peyton and I began the process of picking a different pair of shoes. Peyton not only helped me find shoes but ones that fit my work environment. Peyton made the experience phenomenal. Sorry if I misspelled your name Peyton thank you for all your help. I will definitely be coming back to this store in the future.

Altoona Ace Hardware Store

Visited twice over the course of a weekend. First visit I came to get a new lawn mower blade. The store associate was sitting in a lawn chair when I arrived and seemed annoyed that I asked him where the item was. Picked what I thought it was (it wasn’t - my fault for not looking prior to purchasing), and then the associate had to cash me out which again, seemed like he didn’t want to. Just an overall bad attitude. I had never been to this Ace and it wasn’t a great experience. Ended up picking a different store to get the right item.

Now I needed to return said blade that didn’t fit. Was actually dreading it because I didn’t want to deal with the first guy again. But it was a different person who was pleasant and courteous - got my return processed quick!

Overall, seems like a nice but small Ace location. But there is better ones in the metro area.

Dropped off 2 screens at Altoona Ace Hardware to fix bent frames. After 3 weeks (sent to Nevada) Ace called me to let me know the screens were done, drove to the store. Still in Nevada! Second call today,  ready to be picked up. Picked up screens, took them home, the pins did not line up! 1 side the actual frame was upside-down. Shoddy work, very disappointed with Ace! Will never set foot in this place again!

Just needed a couple of keys cut... Quick service, both keys for under $10...  Both keys worked beautifully...

Russell went above and beyond to get the chlorine we needed for our pool. He called with updates on it. Very nice gentlemen I would recommend this location.

Cashier was friendly, manager was nice enough. I went to rent a boom lift, which was simple enough. But felt that because I was young and female, the male manager was showing concern for ME renting the lift, asking if I knew how to use it, explaining things I told him I already knew, and just showed a lot of concern for me being the one renting it, UP UNTIL my MALE business partner showed up with his pickup truck to tow the lift. As soon as the manager saw him, he immediately stopped fussing and showing concern, and basically helped drop the lift on the hitch and went back inside. Im in no way accusing anyone of ANYTHING, im just saying how my experience was, and how I perceived it, because I want people, especially female, to just have a heads up, so they know what to expect. But I digress, as I said, had no problems and staff was friendly, rental process super easy! DO recommend!

Rack Room Shoes

It seems like their prices have gone up where they are no longer a better deal than shopping for shoes in the mall or Walmart. I used to go here because I could find afforable shoes for my kids whom just grow out of them in 6 months to a year. With three kids who don't wear out their shoes, paying $50+ is just unreasonable. On top of that, the style they like for less $ are usually not avail in the right size.

This is one of our favorite places to find affordable name brand shoes for our kiddos. They typically have great deals & allow you to stack some of them!

Wish I could give it zero stars my wifes credit card was stolen and used while we were on the phone trying to get a description with Crack Room Shoes because the thief used the card once and was attempting to use it again while we were on the phone with the employees they offered us nothing but advice to call the police I was on the line with Crack Room and my wife was on the line with law enforcement so we could get a description for nearby units and Crack Room let the culprit/culprits get away clean

Did an online order and it was ready within 20 minutes of placing the order. Friendly and fast!

Gellco Clothing & Shoes

Great service. Very helpful. I've been in the store twice, and they have been great both times. I have a suggestion, however. I know you guys have a boot truck that drives to Pryor to the midamerica industrial park. I think it's a better idea to have a location in Pryor just for all the jobs that Pryor has. Yes the truck is good sized and has a great selection. However, I myself have had to order and/or just go back to the store every time. Forty five minutes drive is a long way sometimes with the economic inflation, especially on gas prices.

The sales woman was awesome and very helpful. I was being indecisive and she was very patient with me the whole time, asking if there was anything else she could do to help me figure out what I wanted.
Then the manager was just as amazing by making sure I reached my full benefit amount that my employer gives us for our work boots.
I highly recommend the Gellco at 31st and Garnett.. I will definitely go back there in the future!!

Big selection of work boots. Not too expensive considering what they are for and made to handle everyday. They also work with most of the industrial employers around tulsa and either give some sort of discount or your employer might let you get some work shoes on them. Or let you pay it out in installments from your paycheck..(yes workboots are that expensive!).. Gellco also has great work apparel. Carhart etc...

Great place for work boots anything work Apparel. The staff are very helpful a little on the expensive side but a great place none the less.

HunnyBunny Biscuit Co.

This was our first time to visit. The food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. It can get really backed up as you enter because you order at the counter before you find a place to sit. Our order came fairly quickly. They do have some outside seating with a couple of corn hole boards available.

This is place great. We've been a couple different times with and without kids. The food is great and atmosphere is great. Service is very fast as well. Sometimes there is a line to get in but I promise it's worth it. They offer a variety of breakfast combinations with biscuits of course but also some dessert type ones. Specialty coffee and mimosas are also on the menu. It is a little on the pricey end but I still highly recommend this place!

Ok, ok. So I thought since my party and I were the only patrons in the building (well, one other person), there was something wrong. Welllllllll, I am here to tell you. The food was sooooooo above amazing!!! Wowwww, and let me look say Ashley's customer service was above and most definitely beyond.  She did that!!! I will definitely be telling everyone and will be returning.

We've gone here the past 2 weekends specifically because we heard they have a dog friendly patio. The food is good, the staff is friendly and the super large patio is fully covered/shaded so it's comfortable to sit outside even on hot July mornings!

Wild Birds Unlimited

I love this place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the store is always well-stocked. WBU makes good, strong products. During the recent 100 mph wind storm in Tulsa, I had several limbs & rain gutter pieces strewn across my yard, but my bird feeder & hummingbird feeder were still standing strong and providing for the birds. My cat really enjoys watching the birds outside our window too.

This store is fantastic. Since I've been at home more now I've really picked up bird feeding, they have the best products and have been super helpful. Their bird food in my opinion is unmatched; I have purchased food and seed mix from a variety of places and they do not come close to what WBU offers. Their feeders are made with the highest quality and they have a great selection of seed tubes, hoppers, tray feeders, etc. They've really helped me get the most enjoyment out of this new hobby.

Amazing customer service!!! Sarah went above and beyond to deliver our order.  Fantastic quality.  We have easily five times as many birds since we switched to WBU food and feeders.

Stocked with all manner of bird-related things. And the staff is super helpful.

The Honey Baked Ham Company

Buyer Beware:  I went in to the turkey and ham deal for $132.00.  It comes with four sides and 3.75lbs of turkey.  The guy asked me if 3.00lbs was good enough and I had no idea how much I was suppose to get.  That was my bad.  I chose the four sides and they came back with four packages of what I wanted.  I get home and only three sides were in the bag.  I guess it was the old bait and switch!!!!  If I pay that much I expect better service.  Make sure you get what you buy when you go in here.  I will also try to get my company not to buy $100.00 gift cards for 335 employees every Thanksgiving!  Chaps my hide!!!

Honeybaked Ham is my favorite place to get food for families in grief, in celebration or in illness.
Pick out your size of ham, add any of the following plus more:
* Loaded Mashed Potatoes
* Jiffy Cornbread Dressing
* Green Bean Casserole
* Mac and cheese
* Homemade Au Gratin Potatoes

Always take Hawaiian Rolls. Ham can be served for breakfast, sandwiches and/or dinner.

Several desserts but my favorites are
* Triple Chocolate Cake
* White Coconut Cake or
* South Pecan Pie

Be sure and pick up a bean soup selection. There are several. So delicious with the ham hock.

They also serve sandwiches for lunch.

If you aren't familiar with the store 61st and Memorial, do yourself a favor and get to know them. 💕😋

We catered 50 box lunches for a luncheon and everything was 10/10. Thank you Lee for exceeding our expectations! The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The UPS Store

The lady assisted us is very nice and efficient. Those review saying "Asian Lady" was just RACIST -- shame on you. Act like decent person if you wanted to be treated as one.

Bad experience. The Asian lady Charged me $1.07 for just using 20cm tape and had a rude attitude. I would never come here again.

Very kind woman went back and found my package for me and let me retape it before it got shipped since I was worried it was under taped. Very helpful and kind !

I've been here a few times to send out packages. It's always quick and easy and the staff are friendly and polite.

every negative review here is just unreasonable people not understanding how things are supposed to work, take your anger elsewhere, society doesnt need you unreasonable people
