I come to the store when business hours say they are open till 8pm, currently 7pm as of now. They should be accountable to their business hours if they are posting publicly or fire the employees that can’t run the right business hours.

I order some iron pills from them a month ago and they said I should have it within 5 business days but it never came so I called the guy at the store he said the address was something different from what me and my nephew initially said so it was reordered but I'm still freaking waiting. I do not like the guy at the store nor how GNC conducts business.

This place is not open. It's 1pm on Monday 8/19/19. I have been told this problem was a thing of the past as this always happens at this store. Please get someone that can open the store on time. I will be calling corporate again! And start doing business online, as I can't get to my local store and they be open anyway.

My go-to shop for all my vitamins. Staff is fairly helpful & will give you good suggestions. Your best bet to save on things, is to get the gold-perks rewards & stack points on your purchases.

Used to go to GNC more, years ago for vitamins & supplements. Hadn't been in several years; the stores seem smaller with more of a focus on protein powders & not near the selection of vitamins & health products that I remember in the past. I guess they sell what's popular with todays consumers.

Midas

This was the best experience I've ever had with auto repair. The staff were friendly and I got the sense that they genuinely cared about me, my vehicle, and most of all my safety on the road. They took the time to explain the diagnostics, price, and work in a way that I could understand and make a decision how to proceed, as finances were a factor for me. I'm not the most fluent with mechanic jargon so I greatly appreciated this. They were even able to pull some strings, shop around, and help me out significantly with the price for the parts.
I was towards the end of a month-long road trip across America, with still more than a thousand miles to go until home, so you can imagine my anxiety about having my check engine light come on while driving on the freeway, with limited funds remaining to fix it. Mechanics have an unfair reputation of taking advantage  of women who lack technical knowledge,  and overcharging us for unnecessary repairs or parts. This was absolutely not the case here. The price I paid for the work I received was fantastic!! I was also given advice on what I could expect from the car on my journey home, when I should visit a local auto shop, and how to treat my car to take care of it until then.
I made it back home to Canada safe and sound! I cannot thank you enough!

Some of the kindest people I've worked with on my car. I was very nervous that I'd be told there were major issues with my vehicle that weren't as bad as they seemed just to stiff me, but instead the manager was resoundingly kind and explained that my problem-while likely to get annoying-isn't fatal to the car and actually discouraged me from spending money I dont have on an expensive part to fix it.

If you want no nonsense explanations and work, please come here. They're great at their jobs, and great with their customers. I will definitely be back should any new problems arise with the car.

They replaced two lug studs on my truck, had it towed there. Nick got me in and out smoothly and with reasonable time and price. Nick is a cool dude and he loves Chili😎 Definitely recommend👍🏾

My gratitude towards MIDAS knows no bounds. Witnessing one of their workers entering the store, I found myself in a desperate situation, seeking assistance for multiple issues. Despite the pouring rain, this individual went above and beyond to extend a helping hand. If only more auto service providers offered such exceptional customer service. I am immensely thankful for their support! I highly recommend checking them out, as they truly deserve an outstanding A++.

4 is about as far as I go unless I'm head over heels in love with a company. This was my first visit. I will be back. Fast service was great and the guy in the office was friendly and chatty which I enjoyed.

Harbor Freight Tools

As a local service business, we rely on places like Harbor Freight to get reasonably priced tools quickly. What makes this place so great is people like Addie who work here. Super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. After I walked around for a few minutes and couldn't find the little pump up airbags I was looking for, I went to her and she knew exactly what I was talking about and right where to find them. Refreshing considering customer service is non-existent anymore.

Good selection of decent tools for cheap. It's a great place to get tools if you're starting out, you know you won't use them very often, if you're on a budget, or if name brands don't mean much to you. Very rarely have we had a problem with any of the tools or other items bought here. Staff is always helpful. Last time I went the cashier was nice and able to find me an item in the back that wasn't in stock on the shelf.

I’m very picky whenever it comes to shopping and customer experience and customer service. But I have to say, the supervisor (I believe her name began with an “R”) was super friendly, quick, and helpful whenever it came to most of the products there. She has a personality that cannot be unmatched and has such a friendly smile. I will definitely be going back there! To the sweet supervisor, thank you for making my shopping experience great!

I love this store! Always has what I need, reasonably priced and a bunch of stuff I just really want! I could get carried away in here so easily.

I was unable to locate the RED cart that I came to purchase. I notice 4 adult men working on displays, instead of helping customers. These displays should have been completed prior to the store opening up. I had to go to them, one of them said, “we have them in the back, you want it” very rude. I said yes. He wheeled it out and know one bother to assist me load it in the car, the weight was 80lbs. When I brought the 2 wheeler back in, they were just standing there watching me from the window. I do not recommend anyone shopping at this location

Wild Bird House

Wonderful gem in Independence. Knowledgeable staff, plenty of fresh seed options, feeders, houses and unique gifts. Such a fun store, always relaxing and welcoming.  And the sweet store mascot Cooper is worth a weekly visit…

They have helped me with my free cat TV for me felines… and I’m enjoying feeding the feathered friends as well.

Great place, wonderful offerings and people there.

They have everything needed for home birding.

The Honey Baked Ham Company

I will say that the individual ingredients are good, but they are grossly imbalanced. I came in wanting a ham and cheddar sandwich. They do not have a ham and cheddar sandwich. They have ham and cheddar biscuits.

For $10 you get 3 biscuits that have a very faint allusion of ham and cheese. I would say the flavor profile is 95% garlic biscuit, 4% ham, 1% cheese. So, $10 for 3 biscuits. Why would you not have HAM, the titular hero of your store, not be the hero of your food?

It's not bad food, bad it is expensive and confusing.

What can I say...It's a honey baked ham and the cut is perfect. The glazing is a masterpiece in itself. The service is always with a smile and it's a great experience. You just have to be willing to spend a little more. That's just being honest.

😍 Delicious deli sandwhich. I was already making audible noises while biting into my honey turkey w/bacon combo when I began to taste the fresh cut onions. I was impressed and felt like it was well worth the $8. Will return.

A might bit on the pricey side, but I had a $100 gift card from work, so it paid for all but about $45 of the Christmas meal. It was absolutely delicious!!! Thank you ECA for the gift card!!

I had the absolute worst service. I was supposed to do curb side pick up, it wasn’t available. I waited over 45 min to pick up my prepaid ham because nobody was working for over 15 min. Honey baked ham may be good, but this was absolutely ridiculous.

Shell

Good for a quick stop.  Can get hot BBQ Sandwiches here from the kitchen.  Gas and drinks.  It's near some of the more well known quick stops but less traffics gets you in and out faster.

Had issues at at this location with fuel pumps and shady individuals loitering. They recently had a Fire also, and are now closed.  I think they may be moving across the street.

Slooooooooow pump. Took over 15 min to process my transaction and pump 6 gallons. I finally gave up and left. I wasn't going to add 20 minutes waiting for the rest of the tank to fill up. Tried using the call button, didn't work. Tried calling them, phone number is no longer in service.

Pavement is a little rough, and not the easiest to get in and out, but this place is the market maker for Shell gasoline. Use your Fuel Rewards here for one of the most competitive deals in the KC metro.

Drugs & Robbery vibes while pumping gas. Clerk getting in/out of 2 different guys cars. Goes inside when a customer starts walking towards the door. Then proceeds to go back out to these random cars (Which both cars were untagged not even temp tagged). First & last time here. You don't see QT clerks getting in/out randoms cars do ya? Just weird. I know independence isn't the safest area but do your part to make your customers feel safe!!

Walmart Supercenter

Walmart not only seems to be increasing their prices, but they are also lacking sufficient open registers for Real Life members (but that's a different issue I won't get into here).
However, my recent experiences with Walmart's meat department have been highly disappointing. Over the past week (from 9/5 to 9/7), I visited multiple Walmart locations in hopes of purchasing a pork shoulder, only to find that they were all spoiled - and I mean ALL of them.

At the first location, I had to return the meat twice, thinking that it might have been an isolated incident. I exchanged it for a new one, but upon arriving home, I was met with the same unpleasant, rotting odor as the first piece (back to the store I went).

Feeling determined, I decided to give a different Walmart location a chance, one that was 20 miles away. To my dismay, they were facing the exact same issue with their meats. It seemed like every cut of meat in there had an smell that could only be described as if death itself had taken a sh!!t and left it as a reward for the lucky buyer.

My advice: steer clear of Walmarts for your meat purchases.

We, along with 2 other customers, had to ask 3 employees and still have been waiting here for 15 minutes to get into a locked cabinet and still nobody has shown up, and no, the store is not busy. Still waiting as I am writing this review. It's should NOT be this hard to buy lube! No matter who you ask, they are disinterested in helping anyone with anything.

I’ve been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes waiting for my groceries that were ordered before this afternoon. It’s 7:45 pm. I’ve been here since 6:30 and I’ve watched several cats who pulled in after me already leave with their groceries. Keep calling the number but it goes straight to voicemail.

After having numerous issues with my delivery order, and a whole 2 day ordeal dealing with online orders. Isaiah from pickup and delivery who just started working there was the only person in this whole store who has helped me this much. This person deserves a raise at the very least. If more people like him worked there then the world would have truly awesome people. 5 stars Isaiah, good job.

Good convenient store for wine and beer near state line but there are issues.  They have more traffic than other stores in kc so some items will be sold out.  Our last curbside order had 30 items and 5 were sold out.  If you only want food, you'll get better luck in south jo co stores.

Big O Tires

I had been in the market for tires for a while; estimating prices for a full set of tires and an alignment. Kyle, the Assistant Manager, was able to beat out every price that I had been quoted before. At my appointment the next day I chose to wait at the shop until my car was finished. I was very pleased with the turn-around-time and quality of the service. On my drive home I had to keep looking at my receipt to make sure I only bought new tires not a whole brand-new car. It is like it's my first day back in my car. Even all my friends are remarking that my car is not the same. They too love how my car feels like a NEW CAR! I will definitely be recommending Big O Tires to my friends and family!!

I spent most of my day calling around for 4 new tires before I head out of town for Thanksgiving. Everyone was booked out for 2+ weeks and/or out of stock on my tires. I called Big O Tires and spoke to Mike, who looked up my tires and had them in stock. I was able to get my car in the same day and had 4 new tires installed in under 1 hour. Mike and his team were great, welcoming and provided great customer service! Thank you Mike for a great experience. Thank you to your team for doing a great job and fast work.

Great job. My experience was better than expected.i was going to drop off my truck and pick it up the next day. Brendan the salesman assured me that they could get me in and out in only about 30 minutes.  So I decided to stay and wait.  The mechanic that mounted and balanced my tires work quick and got it done. The tires have ridden and performed very well.

I stopped by last week to get a new tire for my trailer. The previous place I had gone to put on a C rated tire, but I wanted a D rated tire to match the other 3 tires. I called ahead to make sure they had the right tire.
This location gave me good service and took care of us quickly! Also, I was able to get in and out with my 30-foot trailer with no problems.

Fast service and quality work.They worked quickly and did not try to upset me. I have mobility and breathing issues when he brought my car around. He parked it right in front of the door to make it convenient for me. Very kind!

Nice store lots to pick from but the worst place to work for, if your looking for a part time job or any job do not work for this company forgot to say the people will approve things then call higher ups and telling them to write people up

We were the only customers in the place and the help stayed behind the counter on her phone the duration of our visit. We had to take the product to her for questions each time.

Westlake Ace Hardware

I recently went in to purchase plumbing parts and found out Ace let my favorite manager go.
Clint was one of the best Managers the Liberal store had. No matter what time of the day I went there I would see him working his tail off to make sure everything was in order at the store. He would make it a point to assist customers when they walked in the door.
I'm just not impressed with the decision of letting him go. Now I go to the other hardware stores in Liberal.

Called to make sure they had ABS black pipe. Assured me they did...with plenty of fittings even.  Great! I drive 85 miles & the woman I spoke to says, Here, we have this gray pipe. It's the second thing!
Uh NO, it isn't the same thing.

Nice store friendly staff, was able to locate what I needed at fair price. Good place to go to find those hard to find items.  I would recommend.
