These guys really ROCK !  Zach Waters was our guitar/drum teacher and is awesome !! He was patient, friendly, and is really  knows his stuff ! Zachs going far in his love of performing! Best of luck Zach.  Look forward to seeing your name in lights ! !!Update !!! My two sons and I  have been taking guitar lessons for around 6 months now and my boys are coming along great ! Me, not as well but I'm having a lot of fun !!

Delaware Rock Gym Inc.

My wife and I stop by here whenever we are in Delaware. The walls are tall the route setting is thoughtful and interesting and employees are nice.  The route setters but a real effort towards interesting movement rather than the tracking nonsense that passes for routes in most gyms.  Always a good time.

This place is amazing! Visited friends in DE and wanted to go to a rock climbing gym nearby! The staff there was really great at explaining everything about the gym! And the walls here are so fun! The climbers here are super friendly too!

Really great gym that has lots to offer.  There is certainly no shortage of routes to choose from. The grading seemed very stiff to me, but in a good way, much more representative of what you would encounter outdoors. My only complaint would be some of the routes seem to be a easy jug haul then a crux move that is wildly outside of the grade wich could be discouraging for newer climbers. All in all I think this is a great gym. It was very clean with great staff. 👍🏻

Really love climbing here. Great community and staff and the routes are varied and challenging. Some of the routes might be a little under-graded, but that just makes you feel even better when you solve them.

Excellent job with our 5-yr-old!

We first visited Delaware Rock Gym when our daughter was 3 1/2. She was kind of scared and they didn't charge us anything even though they helped her for at least 30 minutes. C started talking about going back again recently (now 5 1/2) so we went for it. Nikki was so sweet with her. She always encouraged her to get a little higher, but respected when she said she wanted to come down. Nikki spent more time with our daughter than technically should have been included with the 3 times up for $20, and they even let my husband sign a release and climb beside her once. Because of their kind patience, C was able to get all the way to the top!

The gym itself is clean and spacious. It's cool (temperature) for the climbers working hard so if you aren't climbing bring a sweatshirt.

We fully recommend this gym and hope to return soon! I could see it being a really cool family activity even with my teens.

Kiddie Academy of Middletown

New management as of last year. No longer the family feel that it once had. Had new contracts signed to begin the year, and now are backing out of their end with transportation. This area has year+ long waitlists for daycares and before and aftercare with the same services. New management has been kind enough to give their current families 2 months to find new accommodations.  Please put your kids on another wait list and not this one under new management. (in fairness the teachers are amazing, but you are already starting to see the turn over as many are leaving due to the new regime)

New ownership, by the looks of it staff is being cut, while prices are increasing and services dropped. What was once the best daycare in the area, is no more

You could not ask for a better place and better people to care for your child. The teachers facilitate a very open and easy relationship with the parents and are very receptive in discussing anything involving your child. The teachers have mastered educating children, while providing the love and comfort that the youngsters need.  My daughter loves her teachers and loves going to school. It is very evident that the staff are experts on educating children, while making learning fun!

The environment is clean, bright, and well cared for. Kudos.

This is by far the best facility for teaching my kids.  They are learning so much and are well loved and respected.  I can't say enough about the staff and the experience that we've had there.  So blessed!

if you really want to be honest i wouldnt even add a star, but whoops i had too! this is the W O R S T daycare E V E R!!!!! do not send your kids here!! the 2 year old kept crying and the teacher (no names will be said) yolked/grabbed him up and told him to stop crying, which made him cry even harder, probably because he was afraid of her next move. if you really care for your child you will not send your child here... or you can take the chances.

Kiddie Academy of Royersford

My son has been enrolled here for the last two years and it has been great. The teachers are wonderful and the directors are super helpful, friendly and informative. We feel confident our child is in good hands at Kiddie Academy.

Love this academy! Both my sons have gone here for day care and Pre-K and I have had a wonderful experience. All of the teachers are very friendly and professional. They send you daily pictures and activity plans. They handled the pandemic very well and made sure the kids stayed safe and healthy! My son Avery is continuing to go there for summer camp because he has made so many friends there!! Definitely recommend this academy.

very rude over the phone. Will not except my child due to my previous employment well over 10+ years ago! The staff gave me a run around and wouldn’t be upfront with me to the real reason why they won’t accept my child. If I would have known Janell was the owner I would not have even considered this location!! Because you (Janell) always been rude and do not run a center well. You are VERY unprofessional. There was an enrollment agreement in place. But keep lying!

We have nothing but great things to say about the staff here. They love and adore all the children. You can see they truly care and are great at communicating with our family. They make me feel safe when I drop my daughter off and that’s really the best thing we could ask for. I love all the themed days and celebrations they have. The pictures I receive everyday help me get through work. :)

Fantastic daycare! All of the teachers clearly care about the children, the main office is incredibly helpful, and I never worry about safety.

I had an incredibly positive experience with Kiddie Academy of Phoenixville for my two children. Kiddie Academy is more than just a daycare; it's a second home where children thrive, learn, and build lifelong skills in a loving and secure environment.

The staff is caring, and attentive. The educators go above and beyond to create a warm and loving atmosphere. They celebrate each child's individuality and encourage their curiosity.

We love KA! All of the teachers have been helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Laura, the director, is friendly and responsive. You can tell that they care about the students, parents, and community. I had a lot of anxiety about putting my daughter in daycare, but she is absolutely thriving and loves going to school! I can’t say enough good things about Kiddie Academy and our experience there!

Beyond an excellent facility and staff.  Laura runs a tight ship and all the teachers and helpers are great.  We drive 30 minutes each way, out of our way to come here with other options very close to our home.  Absolutely worth the drive!  Prices are fair to industry standards and they work with your children to learn, not just sit around.  If there were 6 stars, I’d chose that option.

We love KA!  The teachers and front office are thoughtful and caring.  I love that from day one an educational curriculum is followed.  The teachers and staff truly love their students and take pride in educating the next generation.

- Teacher didn't let my child use the bathroom and watched him pee on himself.
- Grabbed my child multiple times hurting him, and they said it was to restrain him from leaving the class.
When I met with the owner about it instead of promising better training  she just said she has been to court multiple times for this and always wins. They then warned me not to complain anymore or would expel my child. So we began looking for another daycare option.
-The next week, while we were still searching for a new daycare, they sat my kid isolated in a dark room of younger kids taking a nap for over an hour as punishment before I caught it. When I insisted they take him out of timeout they responded by expelling him as promised if I complained again.

Kiddie Academy of Collegeville

Last week while checking out childcare I was really impressed when touring the Collegeville location. The teacher seemed very interested in her class and was still able to answer my questions.. I know 3 year olds are active but Mare (the teacher) was able to have everything in control… The children were doing a project having to do with the theme of the week and seemed to enjoy their day..as I was leaving the children were getting ready for outside playtime.. I appreciated that the children are able to get outside. I am hopeful the first of the year they may have an opening for my little..

I found the owner to be lacking competence in maintaining a clean and orderly school at Kiddie Academy of Collegeville. The center director appeared overwhelmed, especially in understanding proper state standards for activities like nap time. We ultimately decided to disenroll our son a few weeks ago due to the overall lack of cleanliness, a curriculum with insufficient substance, and poorly maintained playground equipment. While the teachers were pleasant, it was evident that they lacked direct leadership from their center director, which, as a fellow educator, was noticeable. The bright spot in our experience was the Regional Director, Ms. Rahisha. She was sweet to us and our child, demonstrating excellent knowledge and responsiveness to all of our emails and inquiries.

My daughter liked her teachers while there, but the turnover rate is high from both quitting and firing and admin is disorganized as a result. The new admin also refuse to respond in writing with any billing complaints even when explicitly told that I would be unavailable by phone in my 5 emails.

My billing complaint was about attempted weekly charges two weeks in a row after my daughter had not attended for three months, and I'd sent an email notifying she would not be back in the fall several weeks prior.

I would not recommend this place because it seems as though the (nice) employees are not given the proper tools to keep it running smoothly, and I would not want to support a business that doesn't take care of it's employees or the parents of the children.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

Kiddie Academy of Collegeville WAS an amazing daycare for my child.  For over 6 years, my child received amazing care, love, and education.  The teachers were the best and our child learned so much.  Even during the pandemic, Kiddie Academy was amazing in working with the families.  Then in December 2021, the owner(without any notice to the families or the employees) sold the franchise to the owners of KA of Langhorne.  Since then, they have destroyed everything that Kiddie Academy of Collegeville was and have turned it into a corporate entity.

In January of 2022 we began dealing with a regional manager who worked both locations.  She was condescending and rude towards many of us who had been there for a long time.  Two weeks into the new ownership, we began receiving delinquent notices about non payment of our tuition and threats to unenroll our child.  The regional manager never bothered to reach out to us to find out about previous agreements and that we paid every two weeks on payday.  If she had bothered to look up our account she would have seen that we NEVER missed a payment.  It was only when I showed proof of agreement that she backed off on us.

There has also been 100% turnover in the staff.  All of the mainstay people that our child loved left due to the new ownership.  One of the most common themes we heard when we've run into them is that the owners treated the Collegeville location like it was a stepchild that they didn't want.  The new people are not the best individuals for childcare either.   One of the worst examples of this was during a recent lice scare, I witnessed one of their staff members allowing kids to try on other peoples' hats. Worst of all, faculty members were calling our child by a name that they had never been called before and because our child is quiet, I had to be the bad guy to correct those people.  Speaking of management, we have seen 3 different managers since the takeover.   None of them have ever possessed any clear communication skills and they fail constantly at informing families when major changes are coming.

In the Summer of 2022, we were again threatened with dropping enrollment of our child over forms that were never sent or communicated to us.  Worse however was the 80% jump in tuition costs that were never communicated.  In previous years, tuition would go up on Jan 1st.  We were given 60 days notice of these jumps and the jumps were minimal in order to maintain operations.  In September of 2022 when we were supposed to be paying $105 a week for after school care, the ownership hiked rates to $180 a week with ZERO notice and refused to produce a rate chart when I questioned it.

The final straw for my family was over their Summer Camp Program.  Our child in previous years enrolled in their camp anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week.  This year we enrolled our child for 3 days due to the major hike in tuition plus an almost $400 activity fee.  The camp provided less activities than normal and all of a sudden we had to provide lunch on field trip days which was never an issue in previous years.  Activities like water play used to have slip and slides, water slides, and other activities.  Now they spray each other with hoses most of the time.

The ownersand its newest manager also tried to charge us camp tuition the week before camp even started and worse we were denied our usual 3 week vacation credits with the reason being we weren't enrolled all 5 days a week for their camp.  Again, this was never an issue in previous years and I even provided proof and was still denied.

The owners and current director only care about greed and money.  They have wrecked so much for so many people.  Shame on them!  My stories aren't the only ones.  Pay attention to the most recent reviews here on google.  They are spot on with how things are currently.

Would love to give no stars this one star is just for the teachers that try. Nothing has changed with this place. Saddens me that I ever thought this would be a good fit for any of my children. They don’t follow ratio. They don’t care about IEPs or allergies. They don’t care about the parents and concerns. There are better places that will care for your children! I drop my kid off and there are babies in the room! Babies shouldn’t be with toddlers you would think!

British Swim School at Esporta Fitness - Largo

Couch joy works well with our son and shows patience and encourages. We enjoy all the coach’s! Definitely would recommend for friends and family. We have been coming since august.

I am 76 year old, in a good health. Two months ago when I decided to take swim class, my goal was to be able to float on my back and swim without sinking. Six weeks later I've achieved that, and more, with the help of coach Kristen and coah Gina. Thank you! 🙂
Today I can say that I really love getting in the water and swim the way that I've always wanted to do. Thank you British Swim School! You're the best.

My daughter is been having swimming lessons for about a month and a half and we love how comfortable she’s now in the water. We absolutely love Mis Katie and the way she teaches the class. Totally recommend.

I started my daughter in swim classes when she was 9 months old here! She is now 13 months and is fully going under the water with no tears! The coaches are great and my daughter loves it! Coach Judy is the best - she has such patience and you can tell she really cares about the kids doing well!

Hi! I enrolled my visiting niece at BSS Largo after researching MANY swim programs in the surrounding area. David was easy to work with and had effective communication. This location was super convenient, responsive and made room for last minute private lessons. My non-swimming niece learned survival techniques and how to swim in 1 week!!! I booked 6 sessions which were mostly instructed by Miss Autumn. Autumn has an amazing aura and way of teaching! She was beyond what I could have asked for. I am truly appreciative of Autumn and her attentiveness to my niece and HER specific situation/skill set. She made the most of her short time and I can’t wait to enroll her next year! OAN Kim is such a sweet and thoughtful Ambassador! My niece loved coming to each session and always left hopeful, excited and encouraged. Thank you BSS Largo!!!

I was able to begin my education in HVAC under the tutelage of Mr. Schneider. His teaching style was excellent and he spent his time making sure all of us truly grasped the information presented. I feel that I gained a solid education in HVAC as well as valuable life lessons applicable to the construction trades world. I found a fantastic job upon graduating and quickly found my way from maintenance technician to a full service tech. My life has been critically enhanced because of my education. Not to mention the rest of the staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Thank you DSC for giving me a foot in the door to my forever career!

I was a student at DSC Fall of 2019 in their HVAC course. Studied under the loquacious Mr. Schneider who has so much comprehension & years of experience to share. The teachings were assimilated and with each new day I looked forward to topics I could learn to improve my skill-set.  The class was split with book time and time spent in a shop environment with fellow students to get hands-on experience.  The office staff made processes simplified and each representative of the school was always willing to help when needed from the initial testing phase to any issues that came up during the school year. In conclusion I recommend the school to anyone interested and wanting/needing to change their life. I will forever be indebted to the DSC instructor teaching rudimentary topics to the level 1 and wanting to see each and everyone of us succeed! I am still employed in the field and continuing my learnings

The Delaware Skills Center offers many great classes both night time and day time. They can also help you recieve funding for said classes! I went from making minimum wage to taking the accelerated night time welding course. So after ten weeks the sky is the limit!

Learn skills. I can say this - the computer teacher is great (or at least the one there in the fall of 2017). He has a true passion for all things pc and networking. He knows his stuff and even has a sense of humor. This place helps give you the tools you need to succeed (ttynts) in Delaware and any other location with a need for skilled individuals.

Honestly though, I learned a lot here and was able to take both compTIA a+ certification exams for free. Those tests normally cost over $300. And if you fail, they can hook you up with a retry for around 50% off the normal price. Easily the best thing about North New Castle.
