My wife and I stop by here whenever we are in Delaware. The walls are tall the route setting is thoughtful and interesting and employees are nice. The route setters but a real effort towards interesting movement rather than the tracking nonsense that passes for routes in most gyms. Always a good time.

This place is amazing! Visited friends in DE and wanted to go to a rock climbing gym nearby! The staff there was really great at explaining everything about the gym! And the walls here are so fun! The climbers here are super friendly too!

Really great gym that has lots to offer. There is certainly no shortage of routes to choose from. The grading seemed very stiff to me, but in a good way, much more representative of what you would encounter outdoors. My only complaint would be some of the routes seem to be a easy jug haul then a crux move that is wildly outside of the grade wich could be discouraging for newer climbers. All in all I think this is a great gym. It was very clean with great staff. 👍🏻

Really love climbing here. Great community and staff and the routes are varied and challenging. Some of the routes might be a little under-graded, but that just makes you feel even better when you solve them.

Excellent job with our 5-yr-old! We first visited Delaware Rock Gym when our daughter was 3 1/2. She was kind of scared and they didn't charge us anything even though they helped her for at least 30 minutes. C started talking about going back again recently (now 5 1/2) so we went for it. Nikki was so sweet with her. She always encouraged her to get a little higher, but respected when she said she wanted to come down. Nikki spent more time with our daughter than technically should have been included with the 3 times up for $20, and they even let my husband sign a release and climb beside her once. Because of their kind patience, C was able to get all the way to the top! The gym itself is clean and spacious. It's cool (temperature) for the climbers working hard so if you aren't climbing bring a sweatshirt. We fully recommend this gym and hope to return soon! I could see it being a really cool family activity even with my teens.
