This daycare is phenomenal. I worked there as an employee and it was a great experience. I’m not a parent yet but I can imagine the care they show to their employees is the same care what they would show their kids and parents.

My child attended La Petite and he learned so much from there. He was more than ready for big boy school.

The owner is a horrible person and I would not trust her with my animals much less my kids.

The Center of Attention LLC

My son was at this school for about a year after we moved to Denham Springs. He started Kindergarten this past August and is thriving!!! I could not have ever imagined he would be as prepared as he was. Amber and her staff truly care not only about the kids but also about their futures. She not only educates them on school items, the spiritual/religious side as well. Her love for these kids is so evident, and she makes learning fun! I would recommend her school to anyone that would ask. She is not only a wonderful educator but also a wonderful woman, and we are lucky to have had her in our lives.

I was so nervous to send my son to daycare, but I am so glad I did! Miss Amber and her staff go above and beyond for the kids. I love that every week has a different theme, they always have something extra going on (bounce houses, slip n slides, parties, etc), and they really treat the kids like their own. I would recommend this daycare to everyone. If you can grab a spot for your child, Miss Amber will love and spoil them!

Attempting to place my child in this day care I was promptly ignored at the front door, called twice after waiting patiently infront the door pressing the visitor buttons multiple times. Literally listening to my phone call ring on their end. I call one last time just to see if im going about this all wrong only for the owner her self to tell me that I was not at her door and that I was not ringing the bell. This review is purely to state that I did not ignore the red flag she just waved in my face. Delusionally Attempting to rewrite the series of events I just went through and then got an attitude when I didn't jump to her rewrite.
The point is that's a huge red flag if you are willing to lie to me about what I KNOW just happened I can only imagine the things she would lie about from there. My child did not go here and I am not sorry for choosing not to ignoring how quickly lying to me was her first defense about something so small.

Both of my kids are very well taken care of. Their diapers are always clean when I pick them up. They actually don’t want to leave the daycare some days when I come to get them. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about your kids

If zero stars was an option, that’d be what I picked. My oldest son went here when it was co owned and it was fantastic, but my youngest son went here for several months and it was awful after his first teacher left. The owner treats her employees like dirt and it shows in the caliber of people she’s been left with. My infant was filthy every day at pick up. His diaper was almost always full to the point of leaking and the rash he stayed with under his neck from never being cleaned up after his bottle was disgusting. He stayed sick and was sent home no less than twice a week after his first teacher left. I was already actively looking for another facility when I got a call to come pick him up one day at 11 am and told that he couldn’t come back because the owner had to close down the infant room after several of her staff members walked out. I was told I would receive a pro rated refund since he was only able to be there for a half day out of the entire week, but of course I have still never received it. Luckily, I was able to snag a spot at a great facility and start my son the very next day or I don’t know what I would have done as a single mother with no back up baby sitters. I wouldn’t recommend a facility under this owner to my worst enemy.

The Pool School- Swimming Lessons

Mary worked with me to help me learn the Freestyle. I am 44 years old and have not been in a swimming class since water babies at 18 months old, but I love to swim and swim often!!  I thought it would take me a long time to learn the freestyle, but with her specific teaching techniques, I was able to freestyle, within 1 session. I definitely need to practice to get the technique down and may go back for additional lessons, but I am definitely stoked to now be freestyling!! Thank you Mary!

Unfortunately, my sons spot was given away after agreeing that he would not be there for 2 or 3 weeks. Now, we are in the process of locating another location due a lack of communication. It is imperative that he swims weekly to improve skills for high school swim team aspirations.

Awesome! Kids learned more in a month than they did in a year at another swim lesson location.

The owner swim coach Mary is very professional, patient, and outgoing.
Reasonably priced. The pool is clean. The building is clean.

A lot of students dog on this place but whateva I enjoyed my time there. I’ll only come back if I’m super rich and famous tho.

My child is just starting the application process but the tour shows a well equipped facility and engaged staff and excited students

ASFA was the best experience I ever had. It was the best 5 years of my life. It has great teachers. The students are really accepting.

I’m in 4th grade right now and I want to go to this school so bad and do Visual Arts it’s my dream school hopefully when I apply in 7th grade i’ll get in.

My first year at ASFA and I finally feel at home somewhere. Gret school, awesome teachers, diverse and talented students. I love it here:)

JOY Early Learning Center

Do not send your child here. My grandchild got out of the door twice in one day due to neglect and understaffing. One of those times she managed to get to Jefferson Hwy. A kind passerby picked her up and returned her to the daycare door. A total stranger! We were very lucky. But, somehow the owner never found time to notify the family that this had happened..7 MONTHS AGO.! Outrageous. This place puts children in danger. Not trustworthy.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. My little brother goes here and he loves it. Have had 0 issues.

DO NOT send your child here. There are serious allegations of abuse and neglect towards the owner and director. This is NOT a safe place for children. My own child was left unattended more than once and was not always fed as an infant.

This center was once spoken highly of to us, and we trusted the team and leadership here to take care of our child. After reports of aggression and overall ill-behavior towards children, I can't recommend this center to any parents who may be looking.

Very unprofessional. I called several times and they wouldn’t accept my daughter. They ignored me when I went by the building and act like I wasn’t at the door. I called several times over a week period of time and they gave me the run around. They ignored my calls when I was calling and kept telling me they was going to email me the information to enroll my daughter. I never felt very disappointed and disrespected from a daycare that’s suppose to accept everyone.

Spring Valley School has been a lifesaver for our family. Youth who learn differently deserve a quality educational environment where they can excel and grow. Spring Valley has been a Godsend. My daughter Sarah loves Spring Valley !!  Sarah is in the 11th grade and has been going to Spring Valley for five years.  The education at Spring Valley has been wonderful.  Sarah has greatly benefited from the learning environment.  Seeing my daughter leave the school everyday with a big smile on her face is PRICELESS !!

I've seen so many success stories at SVS from students who were previously not successful in another school environment. Considering that most students come to Spring Valley with prior negative experiences from other places, I've seen a lot of behind-the-scenes work done to promote growth and confidence with individual students.

Having referred many students to Spring Valley School over the past 15 years as a speech-language pathologist and now as a member of the board, I feel that Dr. Laura Fiveash and the SVS teachers are "my heart." They dedicate their hearts and lives to teaching their students and making Spring Valley School an island of excellence for students with dyslexia!

I was student of SVS from 6th grade to my graduation from highschool. The faculty not only helped me learn about my learning difference and how to cope with it, they taught how to succeed. Both the faculty and the Students have become my family and I plan to be apart of the schools growth from now to the future.

School of Rock

Filled out a form to enroll my daughter and didn't hear from them. Called and talked to someone who said the receptionist was ill and would get back with me. Two more calls to try and schedule a visit and was told to wait. A month and a half later and no response. Terribly unprofessional. I would avoid this "school" and find a serious teacher.

Both of my kids have been going to School of Rock for over a year and absolutely love it! There has never been a day when they don't want to go. The instructors do a great job making it fun yet educational and my kids love being able to choose the songs they want to learn. I've recommended School of Rock to close friends (that have also loved it) and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a great music school.

School Of Rock on Jackson is an amazing establishment.  You will be greeted by a warm smile every time and you will have professional instructors.  Your lesson will be tailored to your needs and interests.  I love School of Rock!

Great place learn to play music. Very nice and helpful staff and owners.

Albany Early Learning Center

I love this place. Mrs Lynette and the staff are fabulous. My daughter absolutely loves going to "school"!

My son has been going here for 3 years. He starts Kindergarten next week and I’m honestly sad he has to leave Albany Early Learning center. I’ve never had a single worry or problem with them and that’s really important to a parent. The teachers here are genuine and so sweet. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to bring their children.

This is the best daycare we have ever used. They care greatly for my kiddos and they love going to school. I know my kids are in great hands everyday when we drop them off. We use them for before and after care for our oldest, too. I love that they keep him when school is closed for random non holiday days! Very convenient for us.

I strongly recommend using this daycare for your kiddos! I've got two little ones there and we love it. Both of my kiddos look forward to going to "school" each day that they go and they have already learned so much while being there. The staff is very attentive, caring, and reliable. I'm always communicated with in a timely manner and I know my children are in good hands when they go to daycare. 10 outta 10, will recommend! ❤️

Albany Early Learning Center has given my children and now grandchildren the educational foundation to succeed in school and in life. The staff provide a respectful, loving and stable environment needed for their formative years. The smiles and laughter on the faces of the children speak volumes for the care they receive. I feel blessed my precious loved ones have the opportunity to attend.  Love it!
