Wonderful atmosphere for children. The teachers are exceptional, caring, and devoted to these children. I am so pleased Jack's parents chose to send him to this school so his entrance into education will be a positive one.

This is an incredible atmosphere for a child exploring their world. It gives them opportunity to grow and learn what it means to become a good global citizen. It's a wholesome, enriching environment!

Our child experienced consistent bullying, which the teacher denied. Do a search for Waldorf schools and bullying, and you'll see what a pervasive issue it is.

Sugar N Spice Day Care & Kindergarten

My son went to Sugar N Spice for 4 years and he was so well loved! We had extra special circumstances and they were able to handle them with care. In the summer, he enjoyed the field trips that were offered. We do drop in days occasionally and he loves seeing his old teachers and friends.

This is the best kept secret in childcare!
I was hesitant when I enrolled and now I cannot brag on this place enough. My child has been loved on so well and the infant room teachers feel more like friends or extra aunties! They have kept me updated with weekly photos and the sweetest crafts to capture milestones and special holidays. I say it all the time but I am so glad we are here and that my child gets to experience his days in this loving environment.

In the 10 years I have been employed at Sugar ‘N’ Spice, I have NEVER seen a child mistreated, unkindly, and every need is met. In the 10 years I have been here I have not  administered meds more than a couple of times. The 53 years they have been here should that they are doing something right. It’s sad that some people like to spread rumors! “JEALOUSY “ Several of these reviews are totally made up. These people  work very hard, so those that spread rumors and LIES need to get a life. Our world is really SAD!!!!!

THE BEST DAYCARE EVER!!! Being a young mom and not knowing what to expect from a daycare with people that you don’t know….Let me just say, this year will make 2 years that I’ve trusted Sugar n Spice with taking care of my babies! I love the staff and they’re like family to me now! I wouldn’t put my kids anywhere else.

If I could give this place a negative, I would. I’m a single mom looking for a friendly place for my baby while I work. Then I found out not only do they threaten YOUNG kids with a wooden spoon if they’re being bad, but that they’re ALSO giving them melotonin after lunch so they fall asleep during nap time!  To make matters worse then literally DRUGGING kids- they don’t have ANY consent from ANY of the parents and have no idea if a child may have a bad reaction to the medication. What else are they doing to our babies?! They won’t even fire the person that’s doing this (and yes there’s proof) so before you let your child go back, or look at this daycare to place your child(ren) please protect your kids by NOT sending them to this place.
New name should be “sugar n spice n nothing nice.” The employees should never be allowed to watch kids again.

La Petite Academy of Hoover

My girls both love the teachers and staff here at La Petite in Hoover. From the Director Ms. Mason to their teachers (Ms. Bea, Mr. Javaris and Ms. Kiara) they’re all amazing!

I love LaPetite Academy. My girls love it there and love their teachers so much. They are learning so much my 15 month old is even learning sign language.

I got scheduled for a tour and the lady on duty didn't even ask or budge a finger to give me a tour. Complete waste of my time.

They have been wonderful with my son Asher. I love that they have a curriculum for even there youngest students. They do a wonderful job of keeping the parents updated through their app as well as communicating throughout the day. Mrs. Tina, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Bee, Mrs. Kiara, and the the rest of the staff are all so wonderful and inviting. They are always smiling, and make my husband and I feel so much better about leaving my son in the care of such passionate and wonderful people. We truly are so thankful for them, especially as a first time mom and dad, who are learning as we go

I love LaPetite Academy in Hoover, AL! My daughter started there at 18 months she was very shy this was her first time in daycare. The staff was very nice and took such good care of her now she has come out her shell and is learning so much. I love getting the video and pictures updates of her throughout the day.

The Hillsboro School

Our family and friends share a wonderful relationship with The Hillsborough School -- Dr. Bray, leadership, teachers and students. Although our two children do not attend Hillsborough because we live far away, you don't have to be at Hillsborough long to immediately feel the draw, peace, respect and enjoyable learning that's in the air! Thanks to Hillsborough, our children have enjoyed the opportunity to participate in FIRST LEGO League Robotics the last several years. The students and leadership at Hillsborough are LARGELY responsible for connecting our children to what has become a passion and joy for them. If you are considering Hillsborough, go spend some time with these wonderful people that help students and parents enjoy and love learning!

My preschooler had such an amazing experience at the Hillsboro school. From the first moment he walked in the door he was greeted by warm, gentle, friendly teachers. They guided him through the room and made him feel comfortable and at home. The environment of the school is one of calm and the atmosphere is peaceful. Just how a school should be! The Hillsboro school is also thoroughly equipped with a wide variety of learning tools that are creative and outside the box of normal learning methods.  The children are given independence to explore and learn on their own but also with gentle one on one guidance from the teacher when needed.  My child often talks about the Hillsboro school and wants to go back and each day when he was there he didn’t want to leave. The staff, vision, and educational methods are a cut above the rest.

When I was looking for a school to renew my son's love of learning, the Hillsboro School was quickly the obvious choice! The creative learning and multi-faceted integration of all subjects is perfect for his learning style and has renewed his love of exploring our world. In fact, on days that they do not have school he misses it so much that he wishes they didn't have a break! The teachers and students are more like a family and the care and attention is nurturing and encouraging. It is a beautiful sight to see my son flourish!

The Hillsboro School is so much more than a facility or curriculum.  To us, it's a family of supportive and understanding educators that truly care about our child and finding the best ways for him to enjoy learning and exploring the world.  In our first year they have already changed the way we look at education and community, in the most wonderful ways.

The Hillsboro School is an amazing place!  We're constantly impressed with the learning opportunities, student achievements, and the outstanding staff.   Coming from a public school environment we quickly saw a huge difference in my son's enthusiasm for learning and it hasn't slowed down at all.  I love the way the teachers work with the students to understand how each individual learns best and then gives them the tools and freedom to do so.  My son is thriving in ways I never expected!  Watching him rush out the door each morning to get to school is something I never thought I'd see.  It's truly a wonderful school environment where every single person feels like family.  We couldn't ask for more!

BeKare Child Development Center

We have had two children who both started at BeKare when they were 12 weeks old. We have been with the center for almost 6 years now, and still have another year and a half to go with our youngest. The teachers and administrators are top notch. The kids are loved, well cared for, and learn so much. We’re so appreciative to everyone for making our kids feel special and help them to love learning.

Our infant has been attending BeKare for the last four months and we have been very pleased with the care they have provided to our infant while there. They are communicative, loving and truly care for each baby. Their standards for cleaning are high compared to other centers we toured. We highly recommend this center to others given the experience we have had over the last few months.

We love this sweet little school. The teachers and staff are so caring and my son is learning so much. They communicate well and I feel like the things they ask of the parents are way less than other daycares (few dress up days, no themed weeks, etc). We were at Ardent before and BeKare is hands down  a better daycare.

Our son has gone to BeKare since he was 6 months old and today was his last day before starting kindergarten. These teachers are amazing and have been like family to us. We’ve never had to question his safety and he always has fun. He’s learned so much. We love them and would recommend to anyone!!

Our 6 month old daughter has been enrolled at BeKare for almost 4 months now and I could not be more at ease. Ms Toni & Ms Melissa care for our child like she is their own. The transition going back to work has been a challenge for me, but I never have to worry about my daughter or the care she’s receiving for a moment. I can’t say enough about how helpful, attentive & caring the staff as a whole has been to our family.

Indian Springs School

My husband and I have been very pleased with the quality of the well-rounded education our son is receiving at ISS. The school is run very efficiently and effectively and the students are afforded opportunities not offered to other students. The staff truly seems to care about him and he feels it. He would never have the relationships and interactions with teachers in other schools. He loves ISS and being part of the community. We are proud of him and are so pleased he is part of such a wonderful school experience.

We are finishing up construction of the new classrooms which are beautiful like the campus and energy efficient. you have much freedom at this school. This is definitely the place to go for lifelong friends and a quality education.
