An outstanding group of people.  They are both flexible and patient with working professionals who don't always have the time to practice and sometimes can't make class.

We had our son's birthday party here and it was amazing!! Julie was incredible to work with for the party, making everything easy! The staff that worked with the kids were great! They kept it fun while teaching instruments and music to young kids. They had a very short period of time to work the kids, but the kids all had a blast! Lots of smiles, giggles and awesome memories!

School of Rock camp is the summer favorite in our house!

The kids learn so much in one week!  Music, team work, self confidence, the list goes on and on.

We can’t recommend this program enough.

School of Rock Lee's Summit has taught my child so much, not only as a musician, but also as a team member.  He has made good friends there and is fully supported by all of the staff members.  We love it here.

We LOVE School of Rock. We love it so much that we drive two hours each way so that my daughter can participate. Instructors are amazing. She is challenged every week to be a better musician. The friendships she has made are so valuable. We appreciate this program so much!

Little Tigers Learning Center

My daughters love the teachers here! They are always telling me things they learned and love their friends they have made at Little Tigers!

Little Tigers was able to accommodate my 4-yro daughter for a short period while we were working on a project in the area. She was very happy there and loved her teachers, especially Miss Dani. As parents, we loved the app that allowed us to see pictures of her throughout the day, what time she took her nap and for how long, and what she ate during the day. On that note, the fact that breakfast, lunch, and snack was served was really helpful to us and my daughter liked all the food. Security cameras are used, as are key fobs, which gave us a lot of comfort. Anika was wonderful taking us for a tour before we brought our daughter there and patiently answered all of our questions. Facility is clean and new. Definitely recommend!!

Highly recommend Little Tigers! It’s the cleanest daycare I’ve ever seen, my kiddo loves it there, and the staff are all great. The owners put a ton of thought into the design of the center - low windows so the littles can see outside, a storm shelter, kid scaled bathrooms, and nice playgrounds. Every evening on our way out, the staff that aren’t even in her normal room say bye to our toddler and you can tell that my daughter knows each one of them as she happily leaves. Lots of playing, moving, and letting our toddler explore, she’s learned so much!

A nice, new, clean facility. Beautiful daycare. Wretched owner. Very unkind, unwelcoming to guests, and discriminated against me when I dropped off my niece, for parking in the disabled parking. Even after I explained that I suffer from MS, she continued to harass me about where my placard was. It was in the windshield of my vehicle. After she finally saw it, she walked away and continued with her off-putting behavior and did not apologize, even after I asked her to. She ended up asking me not to return to the center...because she was wrong? Because she lacks humility? I’m not sure. I think I am the only one who gets to feel humiliated here..

This is not the first time I have been questioned about my disability, but it is the first time the accuser showed no remorse for their accusations, but rather banned me from their center to avoid apologizing. 😳 I certainly would not want my children around someone who could treat another adult that she’s never met that way. Imagine how she treats children when parents aren’t around...

Annika, I sincerely hope next time this happens with someone else that you show kindness and not hatred and animosity.

Great facility and staff! Wholeheartedly trust them with my kids.

Swim America Sioux Falls

We did a few lessons at swim America. They were highly recommended. My kids spent most of their time bobbing. There are too many kids to instructors. I once timed to see how much one on one my kids were getting it was 5 minutes per lesson. I couldn't justify  spending 75.00 for 40 minutes of lessons. Like I said my kids spent most of their time bobbing and blowing bubbles. I want to them actually swim. We have done one lesson at EmBe so far and we've done more in one lesson than we did in all our sessions at SA. Also staff could be a little more friendly and welcoming

My son had a horrible experience at Swim America. He's 4 and was in the preschool class with Madalyn. He's had many other preschool swim courses at Sanford Wellness, but is hesitant putting his head under the water. His previous teacher at Sanford Wellness was kind with him and eased him into the water. With Madalyn at Swim America, he was pulled under water constantly despite his protests. They usually wouldn't even give him a chance to hold his breath or plug his nose. The teacher would take a long time working with an individual student, while the other students sat on the steps bored the majority of the time. She refused to let them even touch the toys she had out on the side of the pool (which mostly went unused anyway). I asked the coordinator to speak with the teacher about this and it seemed to help, but not for long. I would hear the teacher shushing him when he would get upset so I wouldn't hear his protests and crying. Once I walked in to find him sitting in tears with two employees (one being the coordinator) standing behind him not seeming to care. One of the employees would drop him into the water when he would refuse to jump. Again, he did all of these things with his previous instructor at Sanford Wellness, but refused to do them with the Swim America instructor because (in his words) "She's mean and swimming is scary"! He didn't trust her because of all the dunking and was scared of going to lessons each day. I feel horrible for having sent him here for more than a day, and I warn other parents of young children that may be somewhat hesitant in the water to stay away, particularly from this teacher and probably Swim America in general.

All 3 of my kids have learned to swim through this program.  We’ve enjoyed every level, and now they’re doing a developmental swim league this summer, learning more strokes and the finer points of technique.  Great instructional program, instructors and director!  I recommend this program to others.

School of Rock West Des Moines

My 5 year old daughter tried out the introductory class and she had so much fun we decided to sign her up for 3 months of weekly lessons! The staff is great with little kids while introducing them to the basics. Older kids are always rocking out in individual lessons while I'm waiting for her class to finish. I would highly recommend trying out their program for any age group.

We started our 6 year old two weeks ago. She’s so excited about it. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is fun. The price is reasonable too. I highly recommend

2 For U Childcare and Preschool West

As a first time parent, I was nervous about starting daycare with our infant. But the experience we’ve had at 2 for U has been wonderful, and the infant teachers have genuinely helped us become better parents by helping to establish routines, to teach our little one to eat and nap, and to help him become a little social butterfly! Our child is in the BEST hands everyday and the teachers are so great about communicating everything through Seesaw, whether it’s a change in the schedule, a pair of dirty clothes coming home, or a scratch to the face (often his own doing). Even in the baby stage I see the focus on education and helping them thrive. My baby smiles every time he comes to daycare and really thrives. I know I could never replicate at home what is being done in his classroom. And the adorable daily pictures and updates are truly just an added bonus. We love 2 for U!

2 for u has been nothing but a blessing for our children! You can tell the staff genuinely care about all the kids, and our kiddos just love their teachers! They are actively engaged at all times with not only our kids, but with us parents too. There is a portal to communicate with the teachers during the day in case they have questions or if you need to send them a secure message. I highly recommend 2 for u for anyone looking at Daycare in the West Des Moines/ surrounding areas!

Having our child go to 2 for U was the best decision we made. Right from the reception to the room, you can expect the best of best. We loved that being a daycare, they focus on education and other activities too. We love the transparency and the everyday updates they give, that’s makes us feel that it’s the best decision we ever made!!! They are the best in the town!!

It's heartwarming to witness our two toddlers blossom and make progress over the past year and a half at 2 for U. The dedicated teachers have been instrumental in nurturing their growth and development, providing a safe and loving environment that encourages learning and exploration. We're grateful for the care and attention our children receive here.

We’ve been taking our kids to 2 for U for almost 5 years! We started with our older one and now our younger one goes here. The teachers do a fantastic job with them, and it’s a peace of mind as a parent, dropping the kids off and knowing that they’re in great care each day.

Cadence Academy Preschool

We love Cadence Academy, Clive. The small environment provides a family like feel. The education is top notch & the teachers are excellent especially with potty training. Our 2 & 1 year year old attend there (since they were 6 months) and we cannot wait to how they continue grow over the years there!

We are so happy we selected and trusted Cadence for our daughter! The amount of growth we have seen has us confident that she will be academically, socially and emotionally prepared for kindergarten.

They have an incredible staff from the support staff to the teachers and their chef has my daughter trying and liking new foods every day!

If you are looking for a school with a strong curriculum, great staff and a place that your kid/s will love… Cadence is for you!

My daughter has attended Cadence Academy for almost 2 years. My family and I, as well as my daughter love this school! Staff is friendly and helpful. The director (Crystal) and assistant director (Darcy) are always willing to help with any questions or concerns I have. The school is structured but in a great way that children need for a nurturing but educational environment. This pre-school is not a babysitting service but a warm & loving center where my daughter has grown not just emotionally & socially but has thrived academically and is ready for Kindergarten. I am sad that this is her last year but confident knowing that Cadence and her teacher Ms. Monica have prepared her for Kindergarten 😀 I am beyond thankful for Cadence. I 💯 would recommend Cadence to anyone looking for childcare.

Our family couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention Cadence Academy staff provide our son. The teachers and directors truly partner with us, as parents, and go above and beyond with communicating important updates. So grateful for this community!

The Teachers and Staff at Apple Tree in Clive Iowa, are the BEST! They treat every child as if they were part of their own family. My granddaughter has thrived since she started attending Apple Tree! Her daily response to "How was your day?" is "It was great!". Learning and development is their top priority not only in education, but social skills as well. The facility is always immaculate. My son was enrolled there 20 years ago. I was happy with his experience then as I am happy with my granddaughter's experience now. She could not be in better hands!

Kiddie Academy of Urbandale

We’ve been happy with our decision to send our son to KA. The facility is clean, we appreciate the live camera feeds and photos, and all of the year-round activities they have for the kids.

My family and I are so happy we have Kiddie Academy nearby. The staff is friendly, professional, and they provide a warm and creative environment for the kids to learn. In addition to that, they are responsive and informative - they always know what’s going on with the kiddos. We are so grateful we are able to send our child here! Thank you all!

This place is one of the best places in town.  The staff is amazing, the ownership is involved and really cares and the facilities are top notch.  The older classrooms have interactive video boards for learning, computers, and I can honestly say I have never sent my kids somewhere that do so many arts and crafts (running out of space for it all at home).

Fantastic top of the line child care. We are very fortunate to have such a place available for our youth.

It's very clean. They integrate technology without limiting kids' creative play. They seek creative solutioning, like positive reinforcement and redirection.

Vine Street Child Care

We have had wonderful experience at Vine Street and can’t say enough positive things about the center! The teachers have provided exceptional education and care for our family. They create a fun and safe learning environment. Our daughter started kindergarten last week and center has prepared her well for her transition to kindergarten. Mandy and Holli have created a center that focuses on childcare for working families and bring activities and services to the center as well as a positive work environment for staff. Highly recommend Vine Street.

Our club rented the space for a fencing tournament over the weekend and the facility was great! We were allowed to tape the gym floor which is huge for us) and have food and drinks. Restrooms and the rest of the space was clean and ready to use. As a club this was the PERFECT space for us! And we are so thankful for being able to rent the space.

My daughter is going for about a year to Vine Street Child care.
She liked it very much. Staffs are also very good and taking care.
Mandy and Hollie are very good, kind and responsive. Even though we see a lot changes in her teachers, they tried to make kids engaging with lot of fun activities. Definitely would recommend for anyone who is looking for Day care in West Des Moines.

We LOVE Vine Street Childcare for so many reasons, but most of all, the people.

Owners Mandy & Hollie are easygoing, organized, attentive, kind, compassionate, and loving. They have always worked with us when we’ve had to adjust anything from our schedule to nutrition changes.

The staff is amazing. We started at Vine Street in 2015 and have been in every room from infant to 4yo. I  I have never worried about her there. I believe that the providers at each stage truly loved my daughter (special shoutout to Kim & Angelica!).

The new building is beautiful, clean, and updated. My daughter especially loves the huge gym!

I am so thankful that I was referred to Vine Street by two different friends. I cannot believe how lucky I was to strike gold on my first attempt. I rarely write reviews but as we close out our time at Vine Street, I wanted to pay it forward and refer someone else.

When we were looking for a daycare in West Des Moines, the thing that stood out about Vine Street is that EVERYONE looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. Since we enrolled our daughter that has remained absolutely true! We asked every question in the book even before we started, and the owners have been patient every step of the way. It’s obviously hard leaving your child, but it makes it so much easier knowing she’s happy there. Every morning when we drop her off she has the biggest smile for Miss Sarah!
