The most disgusting gas station I've visited. A very aged sign on the door said that the toilets are out of order, and directed you to a bank of 4 overflowing Porta potties out back. It's clear that they do not want you to use their toilets. My mother wanted coffee and said the store was too gross for her to want to buy it there. Skip this station and head to one of the other two stations instead.

Passing through, stopped for gas and use restroom. Sign on door said restrooms were broke and to use port a potty outside. Those were disgustingly dirty & looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Gas station had usual snacks, some deli foods and an older female clerk who watched you from the time you walk in till you walk out. If stopping for restroom go somewhere else!

There is an older woman that works at your store in the evenings. She is extremely rude to us every time we visit. We have been overcharged, refused sales and talked to horribly. Being local and owning a small business in this county, I spend as much as $2,000 a month on gas and other purchases at Shell. I’m now giving my business to Sinclair.

Gas stations in Fairplay are universally, not impressive.  This one is consistent with that mediocrity.  You can get snacks and drinks but selection is poor, the building is old and outdated and it's quite tight as well.  If you just need stuff, it's fine but it certainly ranks (like all its competition) on the lower end of acceptable.

Northside Pizza

We were recommended Northside Pizza and their Magic Carpet pizza specifically, by a fellow Colorado Trail thru-hiker at Kenosha pass. With this being our first break after 100 miles on the trail, we got picked up by our support crew and headed straight for Northside Pizza. We were greeted by the owner John, who was working the bar, who generously bought the first round of beers for us and our support crew (wow)! We ordered the Magic Carpet and Hombre pizzas, and got an order of the Pali's Poppers. Everything was so delicious, some truly great pizza! The atmosphere was incredible, John was playing the JamOn SiriusXM station and we were greeted with the familiar sounds of the Grateful Dead and other favorites. Can't recommend this place enough for hikers and for everyone looking for a great chill place to get some amazing food! There is even a dedicated parking lot with 5-6 spots. Thanks John!

Ordered delivery, one pizza that was supposed to take 30-45 min took over 1.5 hours. Actual pizza was decent, mushrooms were a little funny tasting though. Overall, pleased!

Ordered from Northside one night and it was the one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We liked it so much we ordered it the next night. Night and day difference from the night before. Pizza was missing toppings. Crust was like cardboard and there was hardly any cheese compared to the previous night. I called to ask if there was a possibility that we got thin crust and mentioned the missing toppings. Mark said in a couple days we could call and get 20% off a new one but I informed him we were just visiting and would be leaving. Silence. Didn’t offer to remake, refund or anything. Now we’re stuck with a pizza for the garbage can.

Stayed in Breckenridge for the night and needed a snack once we got back to our condo. This was like the only place that would deliver but I’m actually super happy it ended up being here. Delivery driver was a little weird as he started leaving before we even got to the door and we answered really quickly. He handed us the pizza, didn’t say anything and left right away. Other than that, we were really happy with the pizza. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the next day it was just as good. I will order there again the next time I go to visit.

Decent pizza for late evening  grub. It was ready quick.

OK Poke

Incredible place, and incredible food! The staff themselves are very friendly and very cooperative when it comes to customization.

Delicious options, friendly staff, plenty of seating. Loved the boba tea and the poke bowl. Hope to come back next time we're through the area!

The bowl was AMAZING! They had a great selection of meats even if you don’t like raw meats. I chose the raw salmon , cooked shrimp and crawfish with their house dressing. The portions are huge! I could have gotten the small and been full. You definitely must try this place out if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed! I’m visiting from Texas and this will be a place I’ll stop at every chance I get when I’m in Oklahoma.

The customer service I received yesterday was above and beyond anything I've experienced at a restaurant in a long time. The food was incredible, super clean and inviting place, and the complimentary water is a nice touch. 2 of us shared a poke bowl and an acai bowl for lunch and it was the perfect choice!

The food is so fresh, tasty, and healthy. Even a  “small bowl” is extremely filling - almost more than I could eat! If it’s your first time eating poke, it’s not a problem as the staff are extremely helpful to answer questions and the ordering process is easy (similar to how you’d order at a Subway or Chipotle). Also, the restaurant is extremely clean and welcoming.

Dakota Maid

Found Dakota Maid on my map and anticipated a good meal.
I waited a week before writing a review just to make sure I am being fare. The restaurant was very clean. The service was adequate. The food was sparse. I got a panini and there were three wafer thin slices of salami, a few pieces of pepperoni, and cheese with six pieces of black olives. The sandwich had no other toppings was over toasted and very dry. My friend got the quesidilla and it was prepared with the same skimpy amount of ingredients. I wish the proprietor success with there business but, I think that they will need to rethink what they are offering. We will not visit this business again.

A must stop and visit great food and customer service. Also remember to sign the guest book.

I enjoyed my BLT but the portion size of sweet potato fries was very stingy. They brew the iced tea which was the highlight for me.

Nice place to stop for a quick bite to eat and an ice cold beer!

A bit pricey, but great food!!! And they don't take American Express cards.

Simple Simon's Pizza

You can call ahead and make buffet request. Salad bar was awesome. And their new sandwich bread is really good it's made there.

We’ve had very good pizza every time we’ve eaten there. The salad bar is well stocked too. We love the thick & chewy crust Triple Pepperoni Pizza, but also like the Supreme a lot. Other family members love the thin crust All Meat Pizza. The dining area isn’t large and can get busy when the buffet is open but they keep bringing fresh pizza out. They have a drive up window which makes getting take out pizza very easy. Highly recommend this place. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My wife and I order from here at least twice a month. They have good Pizza!

The pizza is good quality for sure. The lunch buffet is a joke. I will NOT eat there for lunch. Now dinner buffet on Wednesday is good. Plenty of variety, fresh food, and very friendly employees. Always clean. The only reason I did 3 star is because the lunch buffet and the employees aren't so pleasant.

I'd like to preface this review by pointing out that I am a rather difficult person by nature.  Arrived, it was dead quiet, which was perfect.  The server was polite, professional, and kind as well as a good and dedicated worker.  The food smelled better than any pizza has a right to smell as it came fresh from the ovens.    There isn't a better pizza place within 50 miles.   If I had kids, I'd bring the little parasites here to feed them.

Impressed by the manager here who walked out from behind the counter to check with customers on their satisfaction with the food.  My meal was hot off the grill.  Dining rooms and bathrooms were spotless despite the lunch rush.

The service at this Wendy’s is alway awesome!! I’m always very pleased with the experience I have here, everyone is so polite and I get my food quickly and served perfectly! Every time I get a modification it’s correct, and the morning crew is especially kind to my husband who is a manager at a business nearby and regularly eats their breakfast. Thank you Frisco Wendy’s!!

The soda fountain in the lobby rocks! The people are the worst part; underpaid and always new ones but hey, you get what you paid for! It tastes good BUT if you knew how much sugar is in the drinks and shakes you would never come back.

25 Bucks this is what you get pretty sad tried calling no answer I want my money back it's terrible can't put out good quality food anywhere anymore very little lettuce and what's in there is wilted and Dave's single burger was dried out and they soaked the mayo on it the bun is soggy and no I can't drive back I work on the road very little choices for us to get a meal and this is what we get

Not the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The place wasn't dirty, but from the way people were talking in the kitchen it sounded pretty nasty back there. And that made me uncomfortable. They were expressing multiple times how someone has spilled oil all over the floor.
Food was good. I love Wendy's food, so I may be a little biased. Fries were very salty, and a little soggy. I got the Ghost Pepper ranch chicken sandwich and MAN was it good. Might be my new regular.

The individual who took our order seemed relatively unenthusiastic. I wouldn't blame him, I'm sure it's not fun working in the fast food industry. But it made me feel somewhat unwelcome. He also forgot our drink cups. But I just asked for them, and he gave them to us. No big deal there.

Overall, this location is fine. It's just okay.

Almost every time I visit this location we are having to wait a long period of time for old food. We are almost always pulled forward with no other cars in line. Quality of food SUCKS. I don’t mind waiting for fresh food! Every visit we spend at least $30.00 and I even stopped visiting this location for awhile and now I am reminded why I stopped.

The young girl at the drive up window was very rude and told me they only take a card or exact amount. I told her I didn’t have a card and all I had was the $20 and she rolled her eyes and coped an attitude and turned her back on me. Here’s a suggestion… put a sign at your menu board saying cards or exact amount only!

I went there for lunch  it was around 1400 and the parking lot was empty and the building vacant, so I returned to my car and left and enjoyed lunch at Guthrie's in Eastchase. 1400 is 2:00pm

Parlor On Main

Parlor on Main is a pleasant surprise in sleepy Central City. The other place we wanted to go was closed so we walked down the road 30 seconds. Parlor serves typical chill and grill fare, with an emphasis on their smash burgers.

The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the burger, Reuben, and chicken strips. It was hot as yummy, nothing to complain about. The fries on the side were great as well.

They have a soft serve machine, but the real treat is their selection of hard scoop ice cream. They have lots of unique flavors that rotate frequently. We got three different flavors and a large root beer float.

Prices are super reasonable and you get large portions. Service was excellent. It’s a small and popular place so be prepared to wait a bit longer for your order. Highly recommend if you live near, passing through, or camping nearby.

I am impressed. I stopped today for the first time and had an Ice Cream Cone. I could not believe how clean the place is, and great service. The Ice cream is great. Arnold would say " I'll Be Back"

On July 28 was in Central City for city wide garage sales,we decided to go here for lunch. Ordered a smash burger basket, a large strawberry lemonade for $2.50 and some ice cream. I drank all of my lemonade before my food even came out, it took 45 minutes to get it,wasn’t real busy neither. Since you don’t get refills on lemonade, I asked if I could have a glass of ice water. The waitress told me No!!  This was my first and last time to ever go here. We spent over $35.00 on 2 meals and ice cream and couldn’t get a glass of water

Like the store. But when I looked up tines they are open , I found one ace that says 24 hrs. Snd another one 7:30am to 4:30pm. Kinda confusing ....

They got new management a lot of  disposable Vape and a lot smoking products so many kinds of liquor and other things cheap prices and friendly staff.

The absolute rudest most unfriendly clerk ever.  She has the personality of a dead person.  Don't bother her for ice if it's out she is too busy to help.

It's a gas station,Google.Quit asking me if live music and unisex bathrooms are offered here.

About 4 out  of the 10 times I have been in here I get overcharged. You really got to watch the owners on this. Last time I ate there the tomatoes were disgusting, they were very close to being rotted. That must explain that weird salsa taste. I’m never coming back, I think the over charging is intentional, I know of several that goes there and they say the same. The food is average on their best day..

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW .
Went back to this restaurant hoping for a repeat 5 star performance. No! It was the most horrible Mexican food you can imagine. Real garbage.. I was so disappointed. Before I had only ordered the breakfast I described below,, but this time we ordered the tamales and the releno. I don't know what has changed, I heard they opened a new location. Maybe the good cooks are over there, but definitely I won't go back to this one! One notch above dog food on the tamales. And they looked old and just not good. The relenos were flat, thin and runny. Ticket was close to 40.00 with tip for 2 people. Waste of money. Just pitiful. What happened?...here's my original review of 5 stars: I stopped in here recently because I'd never tried it. OMG! I was impressed. I ordered the breakfast lovers on the menu and what I got was unbelievable. The plate was huge, more like a round platter as big as a large pizza and it was full of food. Good food!! 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 biscuits and gravy, big serving of hash browns. It was all cooked to perfection. Wonderful. I could not eat it all!! I took half of it home.  UPDATE: went back with a friend a month later. STILL THE SAME. AWESOME PLACE! WORTH THE DRIVE.

Great variety of food. If you can't eat spicy food they serve breakfast all day and it too is delicious.  This particular meal there was a very large, loud crew sitting behind so the atmosphere was not very pleasant,  but the family that owns and runs that business are very hard working, honest people! Highly recommend!!!

First the good:  we were greeted rather quickly when we entered the restaurant and the food was hot upon arrival.  The wait staff were friendly when they made themselves available.

Now the bad. The moment we walked in the door, we saw a young child, maybe 3 years old, running around screaming while another child, maybe 8 years old was chasing after her.
We thought the children belonged to a customer so we decided to dine. Throughout our entire stay, which was around 45 mins, that child screamed and ran amuck.  We discovered that the young child belonged to a waitress.

After our food was delivered,  we didn't see a waitress again.  We had go go to the counter to ask for our check.  The waitress holding the screaming child was very short with us when we asked for the check.

For all of the seating that's available,  they are very under staffed.

The restaurant needs a good scrubbing from top to bottom.

We will not return.
