New fav brunch place! Everyone that works here is friendly and wants to make sure you have the best experience here possible. Wanted bottomless mimosas and was able to have cranberry, pineapple and orange juice options!

Their goat cheese omelette was great! The goat cheese mixed with onions and egg made the whole dish savory.

My husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy, he told me he could tell everything was made from scratch, which was a nice change!

We dined in for dinner and the food was quite poor. We had find our waitress somewhere in the restaurant so we could ask for salt and pepper. There was very little seasoning on all our dishes (steak, halibut, mac and cheese). Kraft Mac and cheese would be better than theirs. There was little to no sauce, barely cheese, more milky if anything and we had to dump so much salt and pepper on it.

AMAZING!! Their brunch experience is not only fun, but delicious!  A two-course collection of fresh bites all for $20? And endless Mimosas too?! Absolute steal. Homemade focaccia, candied bacon, seasonal quiches, fresh donut holes & more!

This place is never busy and needs more attention! Jose makes great drinks at the bar, and the food and atmosphere is always incredible. Help me spread the word and support local.

A great addition to the shops of Prairie village. Easy to find at the southwest corner of the shopping center right off 71st street. Plenty of parking. I was seated immediately upon arrival at a nice table by a window overlooking the large parking lot. Lauren , my waiter was fast and efficient. Everyone was quite welcoming and friendly. My meal was excellent.  I began with a large Greek salad that was pretty filling. It is restaurant week so I stuck with the price fix menu since I came for the ribeye and it is not a regular menu item. Although a generous portion, the steak was cut pretty thin and slightly well done for my liking. The flavor was good and still juicy , so no complaints here. If I had known the lunch steak was going to be so thin I would have ordered it rare. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant, the food ,the atmosphere, and especially the fast and friendly service. The price was high for lunch but worth it.

Atmosphere was great! Food was pretty good. Service was lousy. Ate our mains with an appetizer dish in the middle of the table because it was never cleared away. No one came by to refill water, beers, or margaritas. Had to go up to the bar to ask for the check. They missed out on making more money and we missed out on good service. I don’t think the atmosphere is enough to make us want to come back.

The Big Biscuit

Fantastic service, but to say the food was lacking in quality would be a understatement. I ordered the ranch hand and the “steak” was literally of worse quality than the steak that used to come on a McDonald’s bagel. It was also a small portion. First time here, very unimpressed won’t be back.

We had a group of 17 people and they accommodated us with no problems. The food was great and plentiful. Service was excellent and they even took our picture for us.

Loved it! I have never been before and went with my best friend for the very first time. The portions are huge, the service is fantastic (even for it being right at the peak brunch hour), and the atmosphere is cozy! Highly recommend.

The server was absolutely amazing! He was very nice and fast. The other server helping others was very nice as well. The food came out very quickly. I ordered the holly scram bowl. It is delicious everytime.

Breakfast with family.  Love the menu and the vibe in the Big Biscuit.  Had the cinnamon roll pancakes, with bacon, hash browns,  scrambled eggs,and wheat toast.  Mom had bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and wheat toast. Dad had the sausage, eggs, hash browns, and wheat toast.  My cuz had the fruit cup and a omelet.  Coffee all around.   Love the options and the friendly staff.

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill

Awesome little find while we were traveling. The food was amazing! Pineapple was freaks and soft. We tried a little of everything and the only thing that was not a hit was the Spam Musubi. I was surprised how big this place is. Staff was a little short and did t give any explanations on food.

Better than Outback Steakhouse. (For real). I’m not even lying bro. Great food, I’ve eaten here plenty of times and I always think “goddamn, this is better than Outback Steakhouse.” — and it is. Definitely better than Outback Steakhouse 👌🏻 If you’re in the KC Metro Area and need some grub, and you’re forced to chose between this establishment or Outback Steakhouse, I’d go with H. Bros on any day of the week that ends with “Y”. Solid work. I’ll come back. Thanks. (Say high to the Bros for me, thanks for serving food that in my opinion is better than Outback Steakhouse!) Nothing like a good Hawaiian food when you are on the road. It was simply amazing. Kid people, great and timely service. There is enough seating inside and outside.

This was a nice location! The food was great but I absolutely loved the customer service here! I was even greeted by a worker before walking inside the building! We got our food very quickly, and the staff insisted that they’d grab everything we needed instead of us grabbing it ourselves at the counter. I was blown away because many places like this don’t go above and beyond in that manner! I’d like to shoutout Kamela (Kam) for being an incredible staff! She was very friendly and worked with a sense of urgency! She’s personable with all customers and made sure that we had everything we needed! I appreciate her hard work & dedication. It’s clear that she loves what she does! All restaurants need more people like her!

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Especially the macaroni salad - I really didn’t know what to expect when I first saw it, but I could seriously just eat a whole plate of it. It even strangely goes well with the rice, it was just so hard for my boyfriend and I to stop eating. Cant wait to try again!

The Cheesecake Factory

Food was fairly good although slightly on the costly side for what it was. It seemed like the amount of options and the complexity of each item was like they were trying too hard to be super fancy; find a moderate selection that you can perfect and stick with it. There is no point in an over the top menu of high dollar items that dont absolutely WOW on taste. Overall the food was good but lacking for the cost. (Meals for 2 adults and 2 children around $110: 2 different burgers, an order of chicken strips, an omelet, and an appetizer)
The server ignored us for the most part. However he may have just been having an off day. The other servers who assisted us throughout our experience were very polite and apologetic to the absence of our actual waiter. Overall not the best but also not the worst experience we've ever had.
Now of course the BIG question....how was the cheesecake?!?!
We got 3 different slices for about $35 and each was absolutely DELICIOUS! Would definitely like to try more of their cheesecakes!

Complete overview: the cheesecake saves the day and honestly I don't think anyone should really be that surprised by this. As things go it was an overall positive experience just slightly expensive.

First timer to the Cheesecake Factory and was not disappointed! Pleased with the extensive meal selections, not just cheesecake! Had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Flat Bread Pizza, and a house salad. Best Bang Bang I have ever had, just the right amount of heat, very flavorful and a good-sized portion. (I would like to say that there was enough for leftovers, but I ate slow and enjoyed every last bite!) Markus was our friendly and knowledgeable server, with a great memory and prompt attention. We ordered all our cheesecakes to go, and they were delicious. My favorites were the Turtle and the Lemon Rasberry. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices were higher than I was expecting, but everything was  well worth it.

One word ... AMAZING. From the service to the food and cleanliness. I enjoyed every moment, the staff was very friendly and our wait was about 5-10 minutes. I'd definitely go back!

We went after Church on a busy Sunday and they handled a packed house very well. The food was decent and came quickly. Two minor issues:  1) $17 dumpling appetizer with only 4 tiny dumplings 2) A medium cook burger translated to rare for them

Delicious food. Friendly wait staff. Marquis was very attentive to our needs and quickly without words even being spoken, he was on it.
My husband, myself and teen daughter, none of us have been to a Cheesecake Factory before. Of course we have had the cheesecake but never dined in one. It was a nice change from our fast food we were eating on our trip to Kansas. Thank you Marquis! You made our 1st visit very enjoyable.

Mediterranean Taste

The food was delicious! Great seasoning, fresh and not overly sweet on the desserts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is now going to be our "go to"  when we want gyros!

A cold morning was quickly tamed with a hot Turkish coffee! The staff were quite friendly and personable and the food excellent! The chicken shawarma wrap was tender and flavorful and even though I don’t care for hummus, it was a nice addition. My wife’s gyro plate was fantastic. Our lunch ended with a pistachio baclava for sweet treat. My only disappointment is that we don’t live in town and can’t come here more often. If we find ourselves back in town this will be a must stop.

I have never written a review of a place in my life, but I really feel like I should; I adore this place. It is run by wonderful and incredibly kind people who love to serve you fantastic food, and I love to give them money. Great service, Great presentation, great kabobs, great salads, and probably the best baklava I have ever had. I haven't tried everything yet but it's probably all equally as good. A+++

Absolutely amazing food. I wasn’t sure what to get so I told them to just surprise me. I got 3 different Kabobs, beef, chicken and kafta, which is a mix of beef and lamb with a salad. All of it was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Delicious! I tried the beef, chicken and lamb. All 3 get 2 thumbs up! Loved the rice and salad too 🤤 I got the impression that the entire staff is family. I watched them treat all their customers like family too and call them by name. I loved everything about this place.

The Quaff Sports Bar And Grill

Came out for some drinks and got some food.

Typical bar scene - live music, a few areas, pool table.

Drinks started off light, then got stiffer.

We also ordered the Quafft? Chicken waffles.

Pretty solid!
Would come again!

$5 cover charge,  i came when it was about 20 minutes till closing. People were still inside dancing and shooting pool or whatever you do in a bar. It's plenty of space. I'm not sure if it's every night, but Sunday night, they had a live DJ on the 1s and 2s

If you’re looking for a great local bar with great food and top notch service….. It’s the Quaff.  The staff and regular patrons are terrific people that genuinely care about providing everyone with great food, cold drinks and amazing service.  Wednesday steak night is a perfect time to get a delicious meal for a very fair price!
This is a local favorite watering hole! It’s not fancy it’s not a franchise type establishment … But it’s a fun atmosphere, super friendly staff and lots of TVs to catch The Game.
Last I really love how the staff remembers your name and the details that make you feel special!  It’s a neighborhood bar within a diverse community and everyone is welcome!  Even more… they give back to the community consistently making a difference whenever they can.

The customer was very friendly and attentive. It had a good atmosphere and lots of food selection. We just went there for the drinks, but we had a really good time watching the Royals play the Yankees. The Dunkel is a MUST when you are in KC!! I'm obsessed with this local treat. It was our first time there, but hopefully  not the last!

We found Quaff Bar & Grill quite by accident during a trip to Kansas City. Quaff Bar & Grill is a great restaurant, excellent service with great drinks and food. They have regular specials, our visit was on a Wednesday night, and it was the weekly Steak Night. Meal prepared and served perfectly!

Quaff Bar & Grill has a wonderful, fully stocked bar and they can make nearly anything you'd like to drink!

Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Aladdin Cafe

Got the Curry Chicken and I was blown away with the flavor of the sauce and the chicken was freshly cooked so juicy! Also got hummus and I say my first time trying fresh hummus and they definitely do it right would definitely recommend checking this place out my server Jessica was very friendly aswell. 😁

Five stars to Ginger/Cinnamon honey tea is $3.50/pot 🔥, Lentil soup is 🔥$4/6 sizes, the female blonde server Jessica was super nice and super attentive, though, to all of her customers five stars for her.  Heres where my 4 star review starts fried cauliflower plate was good, priced a bit high at $16.00 in my opinion but im also not a fan of deep fried too wish they air fried it id probably of liked it better dont know if the menu mentioned how it was cooked.  Only offers pita falafel sandwiches but has a nice variety of different options.  Also priced a bit high at $13 each. Overall, I like it and would come back for tea and lentil soup for sure.

On a whim decided to try this place. Fasten your seat belts the food was way beyond our expectations. We tried the lamb shank and gryos sandwich. I don't review much but wow everything was very good. Shank was melt in your mouth tender. Sauce began reminiscent of pumpkin pie but after a dozen bites you notice a slow burn or spiciness on your palette. Gryos meat was very moist and full flavored. The hummus as an appetizer was the best I've ever had too. Everything served hot. Very early dinner for us so place got bust after we had finished but service (Jes) was very good. I'll be back, and bring friends.

AC has the best hummus and falafel. The hummus has ruined me for all other hummus. I ordered a pre-lunch hummus appetizer ... and then took 2 orders to go [one for me and one for a friend]. Sorry for the picture of the half-eaten dish. I couldn't resist the temptation. 🤣 Dee-lish!

Came here for Thanksgiving. Never been to this restaurant and wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, the waitress was attentive and friendly. The food? Absolutely amazing! We had Gyro hummus and it was incredibly delicious! The meat was so tasty, fresh and hot! The cardamom tea? Fantastic! Best Thanksgiving ever! Incredible experience and most definitely will be back! Thank you so much!!!

Delicious food. We ordered a hummus stacked bowl with lamb and a chicken big bowl. They all tasted amazing. It's probably the best lamb i tasted in a mediterranean place. Service and atmosphere add up to make it a very good experience. Would like to try more dishes here.

This was my first visit, so I tried the main plate with beef and roasted vegetables, and I had to get a side of hummus. The flavors are so bright and fresh, and their pita just cannot be beat. It's made fresh, and has ruined me for other pita now, as my friend predicted.

I could sit down to just a bowl of the hummus and be completely happy for the rest of the day. All of the servers were fantastic, the attention to all the tables was impeccable, and everything came out really quickly.

I really like the concept of ordering at the counter, and then finding your own table, plus the atmosphere is gorgeous and very clean. There's also a heated patio available, and it was packed! I'm looking forward to getting one on my side of town someday soon!

One of my new favorite Mediterranean places! Their menu was very accommodating for dietary preferences. I eat gluten free and had no problems, I was even offered a gluten free pita. Prices, portions, and staff are amazing! This will be a new regular stop for us :)

Meddy’s you never disappoint! The flavors are unmatched, the service is impressive, the atmosphere is one of a kind. If you haven’t been here you are seriously missing out. I recommend this for any occasion at any and all times.

Fairly crowded for a week night Meddys has attracted a young and lively crowd. We had no problem finding a seat. Order your food at the counter order your drinks at the bar and find a seat. The servers are excellent about keeping the water glass full and food served hot and the drinks cold. Easy to find just south of First watch near Mission road and 83rd.  It looked to me like there were more seats outside on the covered patio than inside. Very casual and comfortable. Really a unique restaurant with great Mediterranean cuisine. The princess and I enjoyed this venue and are sure to return.

The food was so fresh and staff so helpful. This is the best poke bowl I've found yet in the area. Definitely worth a stop!

Sooo Good. The food was full of flavor. The service was so fast and everyone was so friendly.  Great addition to the KC area. A must try!

The sushi and poke bowls are very good.  After living in Florida for over a decade where sushi is on every corner, I am delighted that KC finally has a sushi restaurant that I feel is worthy.  The fish is fresh and the restaurant is really clean.  The sushi rolls actually stay together (so many restaurants here they fall apart) and the quality surpasses a lot of the other restaurants I have tried where I feel their sushi is average and really lacks any flavor.  I have also had the Poke bowls and I was really impressed by the quality of the fish.    I highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to visit.  The food was fantastic and the folks who run this place are very friendly.  The atmosphere is very welcoming and lots of space.  I also love the fact that they have self order kiosks.  Three of them to be exact.  Come try this place out if you are in the mood for some poke or sushi.  They do a fantastic job, and I'll guarantee that you'll come back like I have.

The customer service was amazing! They were so patient with my mom and really nice. The restaurant is also clean and tidy. The food is amazing, and I come here every time for sushi or poke bowls. Would definitely recommend!
