Century 21 Bono Realty

In the process of filing an ethics complaint with Louisiana realtor ethics commission, the Louisiana Attorney General and other consumer and government agencies, against broker Mike Bono, and realtor's, Charlotte Curran and Lori Kascak. I'm a home buyer and I used them to represent me as a dual agent when I purchased my home. Never use a dual agent. They are required to be unbiased and never share confidences between seller and buyer. I can't fully explain because of comment space limits. I will say they were biased, unethical, unprofessional and breached my confidence. They failed to protect me as a buyer. The end result is their seller has been paid in full for his former house, now my house. However because of this firm, I am not able to live in my own home for 60 days while the seller lives rent free for that time. In the meantime on a fixed income, I am paying rent and a mortgage. We are having to stay in a tiny rental trailer while my husband is recovering from having a liver transplant. Realtor did not protect me in the contract and coercion for additional accommodations to seller was involved because realtor and seller breached contract closing deadline. They refuse to close unless I signed an amendment which included seller living rent free in my house and no keys for my house for 60 days after sale. It's aggregious conduct on the part of the realtor and broker.

I would give a zero stars if I could. The agent was negligent and she lied on several occasions. She negatively impacted my interest rate by not providing me with an executed contract (seller signed in wrong spot and she did not catch nor correct.) She stated seller signed other documents but seller admitted he did not sign it. She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. More importantly, I contacted Mike Bono to complain about Ms. Watkins but he did not seem interested. The seller also complained. I tried to let this go but I think I need to file a formal complaint with the Real Estate Board.

I chose Century 21 White House Realty for their positive reputation and experience. I worked with Chris Stirn to purchase my new home. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure! Chris was professional and knowledgeable about the local market and made sure I always felt like a priority. I was a picky buyer and Chris must have shown me a dozen homes before finding the right one. Throughout our journey Chris demonstrated immense patience and understanding of my situation. I would highly recommend Chris to others!

My experience working with Tom Garner, was one that was unprofessional, and unethical. He was quick to dismiss my cash offer for a property that was reasonable and was aligned with the tax valuation of the property. He failed to present my offer to the seller, and communicated in a very rude and disrespectful demeanor. I would not recommend using him as your agent, as you may be sitting on your property for quite awhile, and potentially lose prospective buyers.

Chuck went above and beyond!  So quick to respond and on top of every detail.  As stressful as it can be to purchase a house….Chuck made it seem easy!  He is a True client advocate!

Century 21 realtor, in this case the listing agent,  Chip Islette  took offense when we asked him why property at Canadian Lakes SEV he published and the information we got from the county was different. He said it was because property at Canadian Lakes was worth more than it was appraised. Really? There problem with a house we were going to make an offer on, contingent on a survey by a structural engineer. What the home owners said didn’t make sense. He was insensed. He told us our offer “wouldn’t be worthy $hit,” and further (said the man who came dressed to hit the golf course with a chip on his shoulder because he didn’t want to meet with us and our realtor), we “would *never own property in Canadian Lakes.”

If I could leave a negative review I would! Renters beware of Jeff Metcalf aka West Wick Management. He is dishonest and thinks that the laws are a suggestion. We took him to court on 1.8.23 for the return of our deposit and won. He still has not returned our deposit and we have now turned it over to an attorney to collect. Mr. Metcalf we will follow through with this, it will not go away! You shoud read up on the Idaho tenant landlord laws and change your lease! You are responsible as you represent the owner! Shame on you. Update 4.8.23 still nothing paid on Judgement. Mr. Metcalf is dishonest & has shady business practices! He’s stole our money. Writ is forthcoming…

Would give zero stars if could. Was talked to like a pile of trash. Very rude and disrespectful. Very easy to say the person we spoke to was very spoiled and raised without any accountability or manners.

This is our Realtor of choice.  You won't do any better!

Misty was an absolute wonderful agent!! She was helpful, informative and very timely to all our inquiries. She was a delightful woman and we loved working together! Misty knew a lot about country property. She knew the area and the people. She had a list of referrals we could use if needed which was great since we were new to the area. We not only found an awesome agent, we found a friend!!!

Beth is knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. She listened well to us and researched newer financial purchasing methods in order for our house sale to occur. The house sold rapidly with Beth as our realtor. We highly recommend Beth Ferrara.

Misty B was a blessing.  I wanted to sell our house without a realtor but fortunately my wife talked me out of it.  Our transaction ended up being fairly difficult and extended.  Without Misty to sort things the sale likely would have fallen apart.  She definitely earned her commission.

I worked with Anne & Beth to buy my house in 2018 and enjoyed working with them so much that I went back in 2023 when I needed to sell! Beth is absolutely amazing - she made sure the process was as smooth as possible (and I needed to sell from out of state, on a very short timeline). She was very communicative and patient, and had a ton of connections to help with last-minute touch-ups and whatnot to get the house on the market. Emphatically recommend, especially for first time buyers or those who aren't as familiar with the process!
