In the process of filing an ethics complaint with Louisiana realtor ethics commission, the Louisiana Attorney General and other consumer and government agencies, against broker Mike Bono, and realtor's, Charlotte Curran and Lori Kascak. I'm a home buyer and I used them to represent me as a dual agent when I purchased my home. Never use a dual agent. They are required to be unbiased and never share confidences between seller and buyer. I can't fully explain because of comment space limits. I will say they were biased, unethical, unprofessional and breached my confidence. They failed to protect me as a buyer. The end result is their seller has been paid in full for his former house, now my house. However because of this firm, I am not able to live in my own home for 60 days while the seller lives rent free for that time. In the meantime on a fixed income, I am paying rent and a mortgage. We are having to stay in a tiny rental trailer while my husband is recovering from having a liver transplant. Realtor did not protect me in the contract and coercion for additional accommodations to seller was involved because realtor and seller breached contract closing deadline. They refuse to close unless I signed an amendment which included seller living rent free in my house and no keys for my house for 60 days after sale. It's aggregious conduct on the part of the realtor and broker.
I would give a zero stars if I could. The agent was negligent and she lied on several occasions. She negatively impacted my interest rate by not providing me with an executed contract (seller signed in wrong spot and she did not catch nor correct.) She stated seller signed other documents but seller admitted he did not sign it. She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. More importantly, I contacted Mike Bono to complain about Ms. Watkins but he did not seem interested. The seller also complained. I tried to let this go but I think I need to file a formal complaint with the Real Estate Board.
