Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

I came in this morning to get a gluten-free pizza and I was immediately warmly greeted by a very friendly guy. He took my order very joyfully and was done with the pizza in less then 3 minutes. He even told me a funny joke. If I could rate this higher I would and this is absolutely the best pizzeria in all of Topeka!

I had a great experience yesterday.Mya I believe was her name made my pizza. She made it fast and had a warm and welcoming smile.im definitely going back there

The 2 men were sweet, fast and very helpful.  They learned the pizzas were being stored in deep freezer for over a week and double wrapped them all.

The best pizza in Topeka you don't have to worry about your food being cold by the time that you get back home to eat. You turn on your oven then put your food in like the instructions say it's pretty simple. I just wish that they sold chicken wings because I would be buying them all the time. Otherwise service is great and the place is very clean 👌 👏.

Always great service .  Needs help with thin crust.  It never bakes crispy!!  It sags and falls

Big O Tires

Great service. Pulled in at 6 pm as they were closing they opened the door welcoming me in with a Smile. Doug took as much time as needed to listen, ask clarifying questions and to come up with a game plan for my car.  Kyle gave me a ride home and my car was ready as promised the next day.  They have always been honest about what is needed and in this day and time that is quite assuring.  Job well done Big O tires!

Always friendly.  And always helpful.  Let me know what service was needed soon on my car.  Two days later my daughter blew a tire on her car and they got us taken care of and back on the road in no time.  I won’t take my car anywhere else.  They are absolutely the BEST in town!

Our family had an emergency repair over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Big O was able to take care of our family's needs and get us back on the road to return home safely 🙏  I recommend BIG O to everyone who has a basic or emergency tire need. 😀

I had a great experience at Big O today, thanks to all of the guys who took care of me.  Oddly enough I read the other reviews before posting and I was actually there when this guy Brandon J came in. I have to say he came In looking for a fight and was being completely unreasonable and unprofessional. I think the employee (probably Glenn) did the best he could at keeping his cool and trying to talk to this guy. So kudos to Glenn for staying mostly calm despite being screamed at by this guy. Love Big O, will definitely be back.

Aksarben Fence & Gate

We had a board on board, 6 foot fence installed and we are very happy with it. From the estimate to the install they were helpful, patient and professional. I asked them to come out twice for the estimate because I had more questions, which they were able to answer everything and find solutions for our problems. The wait was long (which I understand) but the install was smooth and the fence looks great.

We just had our 4ft black chainlink fence installed by this company and I can't say enough great things about this company. From day one our sales person Mark was not only super personable but very professional. The end result turned out great and it didn't break the bank. If you want a great company to get your fence installed I highly suggest you give Aksarben Fence & Gate a call.

I normally wouldn't leave a bad review unless it was really bad.  I asked for a 4' gate but they put in a less than 3' gate. Mark acknowledged they screwed up and offered to make it right.  He asked if I could work with them and I agreed, Instead of having them redo the whole side, I asked if they could just put the gate to open from the inside and make a spot for the electrical box to attach to the fence.  He told me no problem, but all they did was reverse the gate.  I called about the electrical box, and the owner said they won't do that.  I let it go, whatever.  But then my gate latch will not close so I ask the owner if he could take a look at it, considering I saved them $$$ by not replacing the whole side with a new gate, and possibly a simple fix?  Explaining how my gate was screwed up at the time, he was still very standoffish and said he'd look at it next time he was in the area.  I guess he was never in the area because I never heard a word from him about it.  Also there are gaps between the wood planks so you can see into the fenced in area.  Large gap between the gate and post.

Edit to respond: you are right I should have had you redo that side, I definitely regret that!I you specifically said you would check it when you were in the area and if it was a simple fix to get the gate to stay latched , you’d take care of it, which you never did. You completely misrepresented our conversation. I was not “complaining “ as you put it, I was trying to explain the past issues to see if we could work something out. You were quite defensive and said you didn’t know anything about the wrong size gate.

This company failed me. Install in winter come spring things went wrong. Told them my gates are installed so poorly. They came out and replaced one but told me the other was going to cost 400$. They did put a piece of wood over the gap but it looks so bad and doesn't help. (photo added) But why should I be paying another 400$ to replace a gate not even 6 months old at the time.

Called them again cause my dogs were opening the gate now. They told me it’s probably my dogs pushing it open with their head. Weird, since i pushed it open with my hand. Whatever I’ll put a lock on. Yet again, the gate door keeps coming open. Called again told they’d be out in two weeks. Never to be seen or heard from.

They also said that gates can have a gap of 3 inches but my gap is so big that it’s able to open with the lock!!! (photo added) There is no privacy or security with this fence.

Finally, to add to the mess. We had them do another property that has no animals but does have a pool. Surprise, surprise the locked gate cannot stay shut. Drive by you will see the rock that is put to keep it shut.

These people have a 5 star rating for a reason. We had our fence done in the middle of winter (couple days before Christmas). They were quick and clean. Then we had them do my fathers house, again quick and clean. With the weather being nicer we started noticing issues, boards with missing nails and other small things. We called and they fixed the issues that day. Couldn’t ask for a better company.

They were awesome! Had a 6ft wood fence installed in back yard with gate, done fast and very nice. Robert is a super nice guy, and the price was right! I will definitely use them again!

Designer Blinds & Shutters

Normally I would give Designer Blinds a great review, but I had them come measure my windows for the Allure Blinds in February and they gave me the quote, so I ordered blinds and they told me about 3 weeks.  It's now well over 2 months later and I've heard nothing about my blinds.  I've called several times and left voice messages, with absolutely no response.  I was very excited about getting new Allure blinds, so I'm extremely disappointed with this kind of customer service.  I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This review is overdue and rarely do I post about my gripes and complaints online but it would appear looking at the some of the previous posts that I too have fallen victim to the lack of communication. I called the store because I received a coupon from Valpak. The owner came to the house measured the windows and looked at what we had upstairs. We stopped by the store a few days later discovered that we could have the same shades we had installed upstairs from another provider. We were thrilled to keep the same look through the house. We loved the price and asked if we had to put any money down. The owner said no and that he would call in 3 or 4 weeks when they arrived to set up the install. That was April of 2021 I tried to maintain some composure with known global shortages, shipping issues, COVID. But I can' excuse the lack of communication from the business. If I was not calling or stopping in or harassing the business as to when the shades would show up or even if the things were ordered at all. I gave up communication in September or October of 2021. The last time I talked to the owner he said that stuff that was ordered about the time we placed ours was starting to show up at their showroom. The owner stated that he would probably be calling to install in a week or so. I have never heard from them nor have I attempted to make contact with them.
I understand their prices may seem alluring as they were for my wife and I. I would caution against using them. Their reviews seem to be hit or miss, they mention the owner as John but I think that was the previous owner. I would not recommend using them for your shade or blind needs as you may be waiting months for something you are never going to get. when it comes to shades and blinds, the privacy in your home that they are designed to provide I would really think about whether or not the cost savings is worth the wait. I regret my decision to wait as long as I did to go to another provider.

Ordered blinds for all of my living room and kitchen windows.  John came and took the measurements and sent me a quote I think later that day or the next day.  Blinds arrived two weeks later and John came back and did a great job with the installation.  He was super quick and cleaned up everything.  I can't believe how much blinds can change a room - I wish I would have done it sooner.  Need to save up to replace all of the bedrooms next - I will definitely use them again.

I found John at the shop and discussed my need for shades. I was pleased with the prices and John came to my house the following Monday to measure my windows. John agreed to call me within 2 hours with a price and to place my order. Then I never heard from him again! I left multiple messages and went to the shop twice but it was closed both times. I read some reviews and saw the BBB "F" rating and was glad to have dodged a bullet. Another blind installer will be here soon to measure.

Like others, if I could give less than one star I would. I saw a card of their in the Valpak and called as we needed 2 blinds. John came out promptly and I paid a $500 deposit for the blinds, on April 19, 2019. I was initially told they would be here and installed in 2 weeks. It's now June and the business will no longer return my phone calls. I've filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and if there is no response from that, I will be taking them to small claims court. I wish I had read their reviews before choosing them. Better Business Bureau they have a D- rating. Do not hire them

River City Glass & Mirror

Called them to see if I could get a custom size piece of glass cut at their store.  The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and helpful.  I ordered the piece I needed right over the phone.  2 days later the glass was in my home.  My entry table restored!!  A much better idea to repair my accidentally broken table....than to replace it.

I broke my passenger side mirror yesterday backing into my garage. The clip broke and the glass fell out and was cracked... I needed a replacement FAST and after calling other auto repair companies who had a wait time of a couple days I came across RCG&M and they were able to ultimately fix my issue in a matter of hours. I got a side mirror cut as replacement AND they glued back together my clips and put it in for me.

10/10 best outcome. I appreciate their help and recommend them for auto glass/mirror repair. Everyone there was friendly and wanted to help. Trish is awesome and was the one who set my appointment up! These guys rock, thank you!!!

Great place for your kid to learn and build there confidence. My daughter loves earning tokens to purchase things from the Sylvan store.

Everyone we have worked with has been friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very excited that my son has begun tutoring here and I believe it WILL work- when nothing else has to get him to learn how to read, because of the plan we have in place .

Miraculous and life-changing for children! The confidence gained academically alone is worth every penny spent! Our children have been left behind for many years but COVID did more damage than most people will ever know. Sylvan’s tutoring programs are simply genius. My daughter loves math now after hating it for 8 years! I give credit to her Algebra teacher that is off the charts! School of Rock

School of Rock has given our son an awesome  platform to learn how to play along with others and how to perform.   The mentors are easy to work with and he looks forward to going every single week. Great experience!

Confidence building! After a very hard year, it’s wonderful to see our daughter getting back to her confident, spunky self. I credit Brandi and School of Rock! Of course, diving into music is healing in itself, but our daughter has been so encouraged and supported that it is literally changing her life. We can not thank School of Rock enough!

I went to the Dundee Days School of Rock Concert. I was blown away by the talent. The talent of those kids  is just WOW! Only shows how amazing the staff are! Wish I had known about School of Rock before I turned 17! They sure know how to perform! 👌🏾  How amazing!

Love this place. My 11yo has drastically improved playing guitar by taking lessons. She has also been taking singing lessons and sounds awesome.  Soon she will be taking keyboard lessons.  All from one close location.  All the instructors she has are "the best!"

Wow! Nick was professional, efficient, and his level of skill at everything he did was second to none!!!! He tackled and addressed issues even professionals in that field struggled with! Painting, drywall, door adjustments, deck refinishing, bicycle suspension in the garage and more! I think if you asked (and paid) him he’d rebuild the titanic for you, no problem! Basically there wasn’t a problem I asked him to handle that he couldn’t address and address with excellence. If you decide to go with Ace handyman services you won’t be disappointed. Nick showed up on time and did and did an excellent job! This job was for a commercial property with an exterior mounted lantern that had been stripped out of a stucco exterior. I had great communication from this company and Nick who did the work. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for commercial work or residential work.

They came and did siding work.. removed and replaced more than originally thought. Very professional., on time and i felt like they went above and beyond to please.. i was very thankful for their help! I would recommend.
