Ali Babas Gyro

Awesome little corner restaurant in Lincoln. An actual real gyro place too, with a spit and all. The owner is a very friendly guy and the prices are quite fair. Interior is a little small and cramped but it's a downtown restaurant in an office area so you can't really blame them.
Gyros were fantastic with a great tzatziki sauce. Would recommend!

This is our favorite stop when we are downtown especially before or after a husker game. The people who work here are always so friendly and make it fun to keep returning. The food is excellent too. Best gyros in Lincoln

The food was decent, although the gyro meat was a little tough. The chicken wings weren't the best because they weren't cooked properly. In addition, the customer service was excellent! The guy kept the restaurant in good shape and is helpful. I'll return!

I first went to Ali Baba Gyro in 2021. 2 years later, the food quality is even better than before (although it was already the best to begin with) but the ingredients never changed.

It's been the same quality every day for years. The portions leave you stuffed and the food is mouthwatering.

I have yet to have a Gyro in Lincoln as good as Ali Baba. King of the Gyro 🥙👑

Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and inviting. Nice and warm inside on these chilly fall days. Absolutely delicious and reasonably-priced food. Please go here and give it a try; they have a smooth online-ordering system to make things easy for pickup as well.

George's Gourmet Grill Downtown

Coming from out of town, with a plethora of experience in Mediterranean fine dining, this place just blew my mind. Gentleman behind the counter was kind and made great recommendations, gyro was unbelievable. So glad we tried the baklava, because it's so well balanced. Not too sweet, plenty of nuts, huge fan. 10/10 COME HERE.

Been going there for years. Always get half chicken and half gyro sandwich. All of the sudden some new old guy works there and can't do the half and half. Bring back Gabriel! He knew how to cook the food there with love!

Ohhh it was so good! It was also quick and hot! We were craving gyros and this was the best spot to stop and get one. The spicy gyros with their seasoned fries is top notch!! The lady helping us was kind and friendly! It has been awhile since I have been and it was great!

Usually never have a problem here. Ordered a chicken gyro last night and got given a lamb one. I am allergic to lamb. Asked for a cash refund. They wouldn't give me one. Very disappointing grateful I didn't take a bite of it.

The worst even though you are the one paying they act like they are ones I told them no lettuce tomatoes and they put it and when I told them I couldn’t eat tomatoes they mocked me and took out  only one of the two tomatoes out even the girl before me ordered something else they asked her if she would like to cook instead of fixing her order. They take advantage of customers.

Grey Whale Poke Bowl

Portion sizes have drastically changed and prices are still the same. You pay a lot for just a few bites along with the amount of empty space in the bowl. This place use to be college friendly pricing for the amount but now you can expect to buy another meal cause these will not fill you up. You can expect me not to recommend this place let alone go again. Panda Express next door would be a better option of portion and pricing. 👍

As someone who works part-time in the restaurant industry, I understand that it can be difficult to keep up a friendly appearance, but some of the employees here give an insane amount of attitude.

The person preparing my bowl which has compelled me to write this review acted extremely passive aggressive and kept on cutting me off when I was ordering. I don't understand why they were trying to rush me because it would've been over an hour and a half before they were closed. I don't expect service to be overtly courteous but none of this behavior was necessary. And this isn't the only rude interaction I've had here.

The food itself was fine. I get reviews saying that the prices have changed, but that's just inflation.

i’ve come here tons of times and it seems as though everytime they manage to mess up my order, especially when i order online. if i ask for no masago, they give me extra. if i ask for a large they give me the same amount as a medium. they put so little in their bowls. the image i provided is a LARGE and this is how much they gave me.

We usually love this place, but the guy working gave awful service (12/23 @3pm). I said regular really clearly, then he charged for a large. Then my partner ordered a large and he got half the protein i did. He also kept asking us to repeat ourselves when he had an ear bud in...He drug half my toppings across the counter, then looked at me to see if I'd say anything. Just really a bad experience. If I ever see that guy working I'll be turning right around and going somewhere else.

Poke bowls are excellent. I built my own bowl. Regular size is a little smaller than other Poke places I've been, however it did still taste excellent. Friend ordered the Spicy California Poke Bowl, he loved it, and he doesn't like sushi. Overall the seating area could use a remodel, but I'd definitely eat here again.

Custom Blinds & Design

Not only are all the staff genuinely nice, they are VERY knowledgeable and helpful.  They did a great job in installing our plantation shutters, which we are just thrilled with.   And even when we discovered a glitch with the blinds after they were installed, they COMPLETELY resolved the issue.  Thanks to all the staff but particularly to Marcus who did such a great job in a very timely fashion.  I highly recommend Custom Blinds & Design.  We will definitely use them again.

Rhonda is very knowledgeable about the custom blinds business and was a wonderful help in deciding what to get for our windows. Greg was very professional and did a great job with installation. They are both available for any problems or questions, even after the blinds are installed.

One of these bay windows was done by Custom Blinds. The other was done by myself with off-the-shelf blinds from the local hardware store. The blinds from Custom were TEN TIMES the price. I encourage you to take a second to think about what that means. $100 vs $1000. That’s just one window in one room. Now multiply that by the number of rooms you have. Sure, their blinds are higher quality and I think about that just about zero times a day because they go up and down the same way.  Buyers remorse  for this customer.

They have a nice staff. However, they cut the blinds too small for the windows in my opinion. In the baby’s room, these black out blinds let in tons of light and it has created sleep issues for our child.

Hannah and the team did a fantastic job getting us taken care of at our shop.  Very easy to work with, kind, and professional.  Our install took less than 30 minutes and we couldn't be more pleased!

The service provided was professional and quicker than expected. We were not able to get the exact blinds we currently have in our home because the style has been discontinued. However, the new ones are very similar and of excellent quality.

I highly recommend Nebraska Auto Glass. They found a windshield for my 1986 Nissan pickup. I called a number of places around town looking for one,  and they were the only one that found me a windshield. Thank you so much! I really appreciate the work you did on my pickup.

I highly recommend Nebraska Auto Glass. I called to get a windshield put in and they got me in and had the windshield replaced within a few hours. They even cleaned up the glass shards throughout my pickup.

They took care to make sure the correct glass was obtained (they were able to get it from Omaha the next day). The two guys who owned the place and worked there were friendly. The work was completed on schedule.  No damage to the car (full replacement of the front windscreen).  Everything is still great a few weeks out.  If someone who’s fully trained and good at repairing lacing auto glass is looking for a good place to work, they should reach out to the owners.

They were priced reasonably and were able to get my car in and out in a few hours . would recommend

my new trucks windshield took a rock.Went to Ne auto glass just before closing. It was repaired in less than hour for a lot less than expected. That's customer service.

Home of one the best place’s in the country to get an education and watch a college football game. The campus and its athletic facilities are incredible.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln (Nebraska, UNL, or NU) is a public land-grant research university in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is the state's oldest university and the flagship institution of the University of Nebraska system.
The state legislature chartered the university in 1869 as a land-grant university under the 1862 Morrill Act, two years after Nebraska became a state. At the turn of the 20th century, the university expanded significantly, hiring professors from eastern schools to teach its new professional programs and conducting groundbreaking research in agricultural sciences. Excellent University and place to live in. Had been in that place for almost two months, people are too friendly and the best part is the eco- friendly environment to live in!

The best place to be. Football Saturday.  Volleyball . Baseball. Basketball. Soccer.

Thank you for helping me get a feed my birds won't waste. Saving me money and the birds enjoy it.

Pretty much anything you might want for winged friends. Very helpful staff, but of course a bit pricier than a big box.

We Love the Store, and they are always willing to answer Questions and assist in anyway.  We go there multiple times a Month for Feed.

Good local option for (wild) bird related items. Not the cheapest option, but the employees are subject matter experts and it is good to support them if you can.

Food, feeders & accessories for every type of bird you want to attract! They've expanded to include so many products for dogs & cats. Katie keeps it stocked with better quality food & treats and can offer advice if your pet has allergies or specific needs -  it's where I buy my dog's food!
