Ace Handyman Services replaced an exterior wood door leading to an upstairs balcony with a new fiberglass door. Installation of the fiberglass door required a few custom modifications. I am impressed by the workmanship, skill and experience that Charles Bodiford and T.J. Curry brought to the project. They worked efficiently to come up with the best options for several necessary custom modifications. Thanks to their skill and experience and attention to detail the new door looks great.

I have never been so impressed with a service before. Terry, AJ, and Peggy get 10 stars. My garbage disposal rocker switch broke the day before Thanksgiving. Needless to say, I was in a  panic. I found Ace Handyman Services online, called, and within 30 minutes, Terry and AJ had my switch fixed and my garbage disposal was back in business. Everyone else I called was either out of town or booked for days in advance. They saved our holiday and I am very grateful. No matter what your home needs, you can trust them to fix it for you. UPDATE SEPT 2033: if you do some research you'll find out Sherwin actually has a class action lawsuit against their deckstain for exactly what my June update stated, cracking and peeling. Jimmy and his crew came out and applied a different stain to correct and fix the ENTIRE deck at no cost to us so I can confidently say they do stand behind their services and work and are great to work with even when the unlikely problem dies arise. Thanks Jimmy and V!

UPDATE JUNE 2O23: While the service and personal interaction was great, in less than 1 year our deck looks worse than before we started due to sever peeling (see new photo). I would hate for anyone to have the same experience. I will absolutely update our experience and review if the work is redone and the situation remedied to a stain that lasts longer than 8months.

Jimmy and the crew were fantastic, one of the best experiences we've had UpNorth with contract services. They were on time, got the work done quickly and most importantly did a fantastic job. I'd sum it up by saying they did more than expected at a great price (they even put our heavy patio furniture back and played with our dog a bit)! These guys do top notch work...not just washing. But deck sealing and painting. A little delay on project circumstantial.  But made things right with good communication along the way. Deck looks great!

We would highly recommend The Wash Doctor. We called the Wash Doctor to repair a water damaged spot on our drywall ceiling downstairs. They found the source of a slow leak which they repaired as well. The ceiling repair is so good you would never know the patch is there. They cleaned up everything and left the house spotless. This company is efficient,  responsive and easy to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to our friends.

The guys at The Wash Doctor did a great job caring for and cleaning our home. We have hard water which leaves a lime residue on our siding from the sprinkler system. They used just the right cleaning agent to remove it, leaving the red vinyl siding looking brand new. I highly recommend using The Wash Doctor.

Cynthia arrived in a timely manner for the estimate.  Cynthia and Gary handled the replacement, painting and hardware for a new exterior door.  Jay worked remarkably long hours installing tile on a bathroom floor.  The estimate was high but then I had underestimated the amount of work and time involved.  Expect the best!

Angel was so nice and helpful in scheduling my job, and Cinthia was kind enough to let me know of an earlier availability, arrived on time and assessed my projects to prepare a proposal. Excellent service so far. Also, very happy with the Ace brand, which I trust to be very dependable.

I was scheduled within 48 hours of making an inquiry.  Daniel was professional, courteous and arrived on time.  He did an excellent job installing the AC window unit neatly.  It looks great, and he did a thorough job cleaning up when he completed the job.

I hired Ace Handyman for my mom’s condo. I was happy that they scheduled a specific time as opposed to a window of time and gave us an estimated cost (which we came in below that as it took less time). They also quoted an approximate cost prior over the phone and approximately how long it would take. Tommy arrived on time. Got to work quickly. He was pleasant with his communication! He fixed two closet doors, installed a lower end shower head, he went and found the parts needed to replace some parts in one toilet and made sure the other would not overflow. He figured out why the kitchen faucet sprayer wouldn’t stay up anymore and fixed that with a weight that another plumbing (garbage disposal) repair company may have left off? Tommy, our handyman switched the hot and cold on her washer bc it had been installed backwards since before she purchased the condo! I gave a four but may deserve a five. Seemed a bit pricey but then again everything has gone up in price! Very happy with the service and would definitely hire them again! 👍😁

I called Ace Handyman Services this past week and had them come out - at the beginning, they were great and even squeezed me in at short notice; however, on the phone I was VERY descriptive of my issues - they were predominantly electrical and I even asked if this was something they could do - was assured everyone was licensed, certified and insured. When the craftsman came out, he was told that he would be replacing outlets, when in fact, I told the service schduler on the phone that the outlets in one of our bedrooms were not working and I thought we had some wiring or electrical issues - we even reset the breakers twice and explained this over the phone. The craftsman worked for about an hour to try and troubleshoot, he did the best he could, but he was reluctant to do anything too technical. He tried to replace a light fixture thinking that would solve the problem, but it did not. In the end, I was not able to get power restored, but I had to pay the $315, when truly, I should have only been charged the $89 service fee, and gladly would have as the craftsman did come and out tried his best. I called twice to ask for a partial refund as they were not able to complete the project, and no one has retuned my call. The woman who answered the phone is not in a position to offer the refund and I asked for a manger to call me back, but to no avail. While the notion of this service seems great, sadly, I think they overestimate what they're able to do for customers ... this is not a service for projects other than easy paint jobs or MINOR repairs. And they should have been up front when I called and not booked me for an appointment.

Scheduling is done with very skilled employees - not a rotary file of phone prompts based on pressing numbered answers.  That frustration doesn't exist!  In my case, my deck needed to be power washed followed with 2coats of oil-based paint.  The power wash was scheduled - no problem.  Then bouts of rain was the reason the painting had to be delayed - over and over agin.  FYI! Again, the human schedulers would check weather conditions  and THEY would recommend the delays!!!!! This happened at least 5 times from May 2023 until the job was just completed on August 1, 2023.  From the Schedulers to the Service techs - NO Attitudes!  A true dose of Customer appreciation,Special recognition to Thomas for deck  painting, Jason for power washing and first round of painting,  and Cooper for installing grab bars and a new shower rod.  All great, skilled, energetic service individuals.  All displayed customer courtesy. Thomas combined everything with a great sense of humor.  Suggestion for management - Arrange for Thomas and then Cooper to have scenarios of customer goodwill, humor, courtesy for all new employees.  Oh, have reference videos of schedulers, too.  All baseline ways to service new customers and keep the established customer base.

Cooper was great! He did all the necessary work in a timely manner, very friendly and communicated with my wife and I about all the details to complete the work. I highly recommend Ace Handyman services!

This was my first time using the ACE Handyman Service and we had a great experience. Tommy showed up on time and was very eager to help us figure out the best solution for what we needed. He communicated with us every step of the way and was conscious of cost and not trying to gauge us on pricing or timing. He got the job done efficiently and cleaned up after himself. I have used Ace Handyman Service before, and the service was exceptional.  I requested the same craftsman (Cooper) and thank goodness he was still available.  His craftsmanship and customer service skills are superb!  The ticketing process to request service was extremely fast, and the quote was very reasonable compared to Lowe's. They even accommodated my project with an apprentice instead of two craftsmen to help save on the cost of my fence project.  I had originally signed a contract with Lowe's, and they took well over 3 months to tell me the quote was $600 more than expected.  I passed and went with Ace instead.

Kyle is very experienced and knowledgable. He provided recommendations and explained all the details before proceeding with the work. He completed everything on time and made sure we were happy with the work. Involved areas were cleaned up as well. Trustworthy, organized and very professional.

Cooper repaired and power washed my wooden deck structure in the courtyard of my condo. He did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to ask for him in the future. Not only was he most professional and competent, he was also very personable. He even had no problem working in the rain after providing coverage for his electrical unit. This is the second time I have called upon ACE Handyman Services in the past couple months and have so far been quite delighted with the service provided. I've now had three half-days and a wide variety of fix-it jobs with Aaron, and I will *never* use anyone else for my handyman jobs! He is as perfect as they come: highly experienced, professional, on time, clean, attentive, efficient, so very friendly, listens to what I need and want, highly skilled, has an amazing collection of tools to make the jobs go smoothly, gives great advice and recommendations. He has done electrical, trim work, door knobs, wall repair, more. The drywall repair looks better than it did before holes were knocked in the wall to install new wiring and a fan---and Aaron even noticed a crack in the ceiling and fixed that at the same time---it's impossible to tell that any wall repair had been done. I had several new fixtures that required touch-up at the ceiling, and the blending/matching that Aaron did on the textured ceilings is incredible. Aaron also does what he calls "extra credit" like noticing that one of my kitchen cabinet doors was loose and fixing that when he had a bit of extra time. I thought I might try installing some ceiling trim myself with my little miter box and hand saw, and Aaron walked me through the process using my own tools and sharing his years of tips and experience---fantastic teacher! I am thrilled beyond belief with his work---and the scheduling is a dream---you get to a real person immediately (not wading through torturous automated systems). Thank you Aaron (and Susan, the scheduler/office manager) for being so wonderful!!

I used this contractor for a bathroom remodel based on friends' recommendation, replacing everything. The best experience I've ever had with a contractor in decades of home ownership in several states. Accurate estimates, excellent communications, on time, well-organized and neat. Cleaned up job site daily. Showed up daily until the job was done. The time schedule was accurate - no delays. Very professional and easy to work with. Willing to discuss job options and had knowledgeable advice about those options. Shower tiling was outstanding. Framing, plumbing, painting, and cabinet install were 10 out of 10. Absolutely recommended.

We recently had workers out to replace fascia boards along the roofline and some other rotted-out wood around the house. Ed and Scott were fantastic. Super professional and friendly guys. Great job Everything as promised.My technician arrived on time and was professional an courteous. I advise having all materials available including screws so Tech can spend entire time working on site not assembling things. If you are doing a remodeling.project,  schedule at minimum of four hour blocks no matter if you think project is small..Allow your Tech to work without rushing through build, leave them alone to work. They can't get it done if you are  acting as forman, just tell them what you want done, they will get it done. I highly recommend them.

I needed a repair done to my garage. Joe was prompt and very professional he did  a great job! I am very pleased with his work. Scheduling  the appointment with Rudy was easy. I will be using their services again.

Joe was great. Very personable and kind. Unfortunately ice makers are complicated. He was very patient and tried to diagnose it but it was Misbehaving because of the electrical board. He made me feel better about the product and said we could try getting a circuit board and then can come back for installation. Ace Handyman had a policy that protected me financially despite the time and attention  they gave me, so it didn’t cost me a lot. I really appreciate both Joe and Rudy who called me twice to talk me through this process.
