American Family Care Athens

The people were so nice  and I feel like they truly cared about my injury. I've used them before and check in was easy, and they walked me out. Very pleased.

I held a spot through the website. I was notified they were running behind which was nice I was made notified. The wait wasn't too bad. Every single staff member from check in to the person who walked me out were extremely nice the entire time. I know that has to be hard for them this time of year seeing 80+ patients a day. I appreciated their kindness and attentiveness.

It took three hours for me to get seen but it is peak flu season and it was the Friday before New Year’s eve. They were the only urgent care open and they were doing their best. Everyone was super professional and once I got into the room, it was fast and efficient. Besides the wait time, it was excellent service.

Honestly this was the worst place I have been to in a long time. The wait is ridiculous and the run around I had to just get a physical and a TB test done was absurd. I literally went in to get a TB test and physical done for my job. Getting my TB test was good the nurse was super nice. She told me to come back and they would fill out my paper for me. I then returned two days later 8:00 AM to be told that I needed a physical for 75$. I understand needing the physical part but where in the world did 75$ come from. I had already paid 30$ for my TB test. He then told me that it was going to be a 3 hour wait. I opted to come back on Monday again at 8:00 AM. I walked in and signed in At the front desk knowing I would need a physical. I got a code sent to my phone with more paperwork. I had filled the paperwork out two days prior so I thought I was okay when it came to that stuff because it was asking for insurance and stuff again. When people started being called ahead of me when I knew I was there before them I went and asked an ETA on me going back for my simple physical. The lady the. Says I didn’t fill out the paperwork. But I already signed in at the front desk. There was then 10 people ahead of me. The front desk lady then says it’s my fault that that many people are ahead of me now. (I do take responsibility for not filling out the paperwork online) but they should have told me that I needed to AGAIN for the second time in two days. (It was my first time to this place. The lady was rude. I was there for a simple physical. Never in my life have I had this much trouble for a few physical or TB test. I will not be back!

The office and staff were very helpful friendly, and clean. There was a longer wait this time, but it's that time of the year. Everyone is sick , I have been to that clinic before and I will go back.

American Family Care Tuscaloosa

Wait time took 30 minutes but once back I was seen quickly and the nurse practitioner Elizabeth was very informative with telling me what was going on and treatment. She is absolutely wonderful. I feel awful but I hope to feel better soon. All around a good experience and will come back again when needed.

The medical care was very good.  However, when one is sick or hurt, the lengthy wait added to the misery.  I had gone online and checked in during the night before. My appointment was for 10:40 a.m.  I arrived at 10:25 and was called back about an hour later.  Then,  I waited almost two hours in the exam room before the doctor came in.
It seems that this location is easily busy enough to warrant at least 2 doctors.   They seemed to have enough support staff; but,  they were waiting for the doctor to let them know what the patients needed.

Went in for a pre-employment drug screen with my paperwork and driver license.I sat in the waiting area for over an hour while other people came in after me and left before me. The ladies at the front counter were very unorganized and unsure of what their next step should be. This place could use more knowledgeable daily help.

I must say that the doctor seemed pretty knowledgeable. I took two stars off on this review because I sat in the waiting area for 2 and a half hours before I was called to the back. Once I got to the back, I sat another hour and a half in a waiting room waiting to see the doctor. I was told that, that is to be expected on Sundays but I feel as if that was a bit of an extensive wait time.

Great experience all around. The check in process was speedy and efficient. The staff members were very personable. Keisha, CRNP was incredible and took her time to access me and treat my illness properly.

Lice Clinics of America - Lexington

Never have I been more disrespected at a place of business.  I have naturally curly hair and she said that it had to be completely brushed out before she would even begin.  The last time I went here, this was not the case.  Previously, I had an active case and she was so helpful.  Having naturally curly hair, my hair will not “brush”.  She handed me a basic brush and told me that she refused to start until every strand brushed.  I worked as hard as i could to do the impossible.  She was rude and hateful.  Thankfully I did not have lice.  I will shave my head before ever stepping foot into this establishment again.

So professional!  Very discrete. Extremely thorough! Even to do a check for lice, they look at every single section of the scalp. We have tried products in the past that do not work, or that we have to keep combing every single night and torturing our children to do so. I will not be doing that anymore! From now on, we will immediately head to the lice clinic!

I had Ty and it was an amazing experience 10/10 recommend if you need this treatment. She was very sweet and gentle.

After dealing with lice on our own in the past, we decided to spend the money to go to the Lice Clinic.
Within a couple days of finding out one of our children had lice, we called the Lice Clinic, and they got us in quickly. We all got checked and discovered another one of our children had it as well. They both were treated within that session. When they came back for their follow up session, they were both cleared, so the treatment worked for them the first try.
They also quickly got in a family member who got it from our child.
They were friendly and knowledgeable and helped entertain our children while they got checked and treated. They also had some toys and stuff in the waiting area.

They also have a teacher discount, and a significant amount was deducted for one of our daughter’s who had a medical card.

Overall great experience! Hopefully we won’t have to, but we’ll return again if we need to.

We have gone here everytime someone in our family needs treated or checked. Everyone that works here is amazing and so friendly. One treatment and your clear when you walk out of there doors!!!! I highly recommend coming to Lice Clinics of America

UAB Medicine Hoover Primary & Specialty Care

Megan performed my ultrasound today and she was so polite and thorough. I had to leave a review because you truly don’t always get that type of care. She made me feel comfortable which unknowingly made me feel hopeful. With my mother who is currently battling her health it’s easy to be fearful when trying to get answers on your health issues. I’m a little less of that after being seen today. The front desk was also very polite and friendly.

My husband and I have been seeing Rachel CRNP and wanted to say that she is AMAZING! She truly cares about her patients and listens. She doesn’t rush through appointments and is very thorough. I would 100% recommend her for your care. Thank you Rachel, you are doing great work! Thanks for taking great care of us!

This place has adequate parking, clean restrooms, friendly employees, employees appeared clean & professional, clean patient exam rooms (the cleanest I've ever seen, (& I'm old), & my provider and her team were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, kind & empathetic. Highly recommend.
*****Removed one star because a VENDOR parked in a ♿ space beside us without a handicapped permit or tag & I had to wait on him to load his car so I could get in mine. This is so disrespectful to those of us who NEED the close parking spaces because getting to & in facilities for doctor appointments is a challenge.

This review is NOT about my primary care physician. Dr. Thorton is amazing!
I came for my yearly check up today and had a good visit. I have been sick and didn’t feel welll. She ordered tests for UTI, strep, Covid and the flu. After two hours in the clinic, I went to the lab waiting area and gave them my slip.  Pleasant experience, same as check in. After waiting a while and realizing I could no longer hold my urine, I approached the  blonde with a terrible personality and baby Chinese bangs sitting next to the lab door. I explained that I needed to pee. She was hateful and acted as if I asked for a million dollars. Then an Indian woman appears. She has a horrible attitude as well  and an even worse personality- didn’t know that was even possible! As I was running to the toilet, she raised her voice at me three times to verify my information. I couldn’t understand her and urgently needed to get to the toilet. I turned around, went to grab the cup she raised her voice again, holding the cup tightly. I matched her tone and gave  my name and date of birth. She  replied loudly “I understand you.” I told her she was rude and closed the bathroom door. I was not allowing this hateful woman to touch me. I gave a urine sample, told her coworker hat she was in a bad mood and left. Totally unacceptable! Messaged my doctor and told her I would give blood at a location where I would be treated with kindness and respect. I have a choice in the way I am treated and who touches my body.

New, clean, 2 story modern UAB Medicine facility. The check-in desk will assist and direct you to all Drs and labs in building. Check in ahead of time to save time. Free parking out front and sides. Coffee, ice cream, food, and shopping in easy walking distance.

American Family Care Calera

The woman checking me in said I was rude. NOT acceptable! I don’t know her name but she was working at reception at the Calera, AL AFC at 9:30 am today. I was filling out my paperwork on the tablet provided. It said, “If you need help come see us at the front desk.” I couldn’t figure it out. I’m old and IT challenged. I took it to her to ask for help, and she said I was being rude. EXCUSE ME??!!??? I expect an apology. She has no idea what I have gone through and caused a tremendous amount of grief on my part for being unkind. Below is a picture of the mission statement. I was not treated with kindness and respect. Please call her aside and give her a verbal lashing. I truly needed help. She wanted to tell me no, but I said I HAVE to get help. I was called rude for my trouble and she should be fired. Thank you.

I've had to use this office on several occasions and each time the front office staff all the way to the nursing staff and each doctor I've seen have had the utmost professionalism and kindness. It was busy this trip, but they assured me they were working to get me seen as soon as possible. The waiting room was clean and the exam room and triage room was also clean. I would definitely recommend this AFC.

The AFC staff are very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helpful.  The waiting room was packed but Brandi Coleman took the time to  answer questions my husband and I had about our COVID diagnoses.  Robert Smith went  above and beyond.  He was careful to explain the tests he gave us and even brought us water to drink.

The best AFC or Urgent care I ever visited from the time I walked in the door the receptionist was wonderful & got my son help immediately his nose started bleeding & running like water & dizzy! I pulled over ran in AFC & asked for help & they assisted us not knowing was we able to pay or anything . Every last staff member came in asked was we Ok? The medical techs offered water ensured me he was going to be OK! The NP listened, asked questions & asked us did we understand she was very professional but treated my son like she would treat her own family! Thank You AFC Calera for speedy & thorough care ! I find comfort & at ease knowing you all are 15 minutes from University Of Montevallo!

I have been coming to AFC of Calera ever since I moved out here. There may be a bit of a wait when you first arrive, but the service is worth it. They are kind, understanding, and capable. During my most recent visit, my nurse was Dani. She was great at respecting my gender identity, and even offered to update my preferred gender in their system. I really appreciated her acceptance and she made the whole experience much more comfortable - even while I was feeling crummy. Will be coming back here for all of my urgent care needs.

Anniston Quality Health Care

I am so thankful I went to this clinic. To start with I was with Dr. Thomas.. I’ve noticed she doesn’t really care about the patient. Only wants you in and out as fast as possible. She didn’t even take 2 minutes to speak with me. I switched to Dr. Garba and she has been my favorite doctor I’ve ever went to! She listens to what you have to say, educates you on the different matters, really goes into depth and makes sure to work WITH you on the medication and the process moving forward. The staff is super nice and always very helpful (this includes front desk, the clinic, AND pharmacy!!). As long as I make an appointment before time, the visit goes very efficiently (in and out), but they still make sure to check everything is going well, my concerns, etc. Make sure to bring in your ID, and check stub (you might qualify for the discount.. which btw has helped me GREATLY! $25 copay, hugely discounted medicine, etc). Very thankful for this clinic and the staff 🙏🏻💕

By far the worst staff I've ever encountered. I've waited on referrals for 10+ months.
They refuse to do their job, there's no accountability.
They rarely even answer the phone.
I've sat on hold for 30 minutes with the automated service telling me I'm #1 in queue.
If you need a doctor, find some place other than here.

Wonderful office, very friendly and the doctor was amazing!

each time to making appointment the waiting period is about 3 month in advance then when it get closer to appointment they will call you to cancel it because no one not gonna be there and try to offer new appointment another 3 month/ last time a different Dentist fix my tooth don't do good job I came back home with sharp part on my tooth , it will scathing my upper lip when I try to eat or talk. It's time to move on from this place

Very nice place with friendly professional people. Waiting time with a appointment is only a few minutes.  I used to wait at C.A.R.E.S for at least three hours with a appointment or not just see a grouchy a**hole of a doctor that won't listen or even make eye contact with you for the two minutes he sees you. This doesn't happen here! Dr. Smith is very nice & knows what he's doing.

Griswold Home Care

I had certain things that were to be told to each of their care takers before they showed up in my home. They didn't do this. It caused unnecessary complications that I didn't have to go thru. Main care taker was good in the beginning. As time went on she was on her computer saying it was work while I was paying for her to be here. The last week she was on her the computer the whole time except to make me a fruit salad.
The night aids had breathing problems. They were to stay awake the whole time. I was paying them hourly. The one aid kept me up all night snoring as she said she was praying.

Prattville Baptist Hospital

Registration for my GI procedure was prompt and personnel were friendly. Nurses and the anesthesia staff in the prep and procedure areas were both professional and personable- and the same in recovery. My endoscopy experience was as stress-free and efficient as one could hope. Thanks to all staff involved in my care.

The staff here has been absolutely superlative - from the security guards that greet you to the hospital staff. Dr. Desai is thorough, upfront and honest, he has a very welcoming and kind bedside manner and he  kept our family properly informed at every opportunity. It is very evident that he genuinely cares. The ICU nurses are attentive, calm and professional. We encountered zero bad attitudes and everyone truly seemed committed to helping us. The staff had good manners at all times and they always listened and paid close attention to any information we gave them.

If I could leave no stars I would!! This is the worst er I’ve ever been to my entire life!! This hospital is a complete joke! I took my 5 year old here who was crying because of severe stomach pain for almost 2 hours  in the waiting area!! We sat there and waited while another patient walked in a whole hour and a half after us and was put before my child!!! And then when I ask the front why hasn’t my child been seen yet they responded there was no beds and all they could do was have triage reevaluate him!!!I left and went to another hospital which was way more helpful!!! I should have learned my lesson the first time about this place!!!! Do not come here!!!! Horrible service!!

I had a great experience, the nurses were very hospitable and kind. The atmosphere was very pleasant, friendly, warm and caring. Exceptional experience. It was kind of funny like when I had 3 nurses attending to me at the same time one doing the blood pressure, one the IV, and the other the thermometer to my forehead. I don’t think they noticed it, but they all came in at me the exact same time it was exciting to see for the moment like something in a movie. The cutest part was how the nurse aim at me with the thermometer. They had it together though, TEAMWORK. Love y’all. Thanks for making my 1st experience a great one. Blessings to you all.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff -- everyone was incredibly nice and efficient! My procedure took a little longer than I anticipated (that's on me and my assumptions, not the hospital), and when I asked questions about that, the nurse explained everything to me to my complete satisfaction. Well done!

Banner Health Center

I had the pleasure of visiting the Banner Children facility in Queen Creek recently (Inside the Banner Health Center), located at "21772 S Ellsworth Lp Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142," where my main purpose was to seek pediatric care for my children. I was particularly impressed by the "C/ D" block, a newly added section dedicated exclusively to pediatric care.

The cleanliness and hygiene standards of this facility are truly commendable. As a parent, it's reassuring to see such attention to cleanliness, especially in a medical environment.

The doctors I interacted with left a lasting positive impression. Their genuine care and informative approach made me feel confident in their abilities to provide the best possible care for my children.

One significant advantage of this facility is its extensive parking space, which eliminates the stress of finding a spot and allows for a hassle-free visit.

A standout feature for me is the flexibility of appointments. I noticed that they offer appointments as late as 06:00 PM or even 06:30 PM (I recommend confirming with the front desk for exact hours). This is incredibly convenient for parents who work during the day and need later appointment slots.

Additionally, the fact that they offer appointments on Saturdays as well adds another layer of convenience, accommodating parents with varying schedules.

Overall, my experience at the Banner Children facility in Queen Creek has been overwhelmingly positive. The dedicated "C/ D" block for pediatric care, combined with the facility's cleanliness, caring doctors, ample parking, and accommodating appointment hours, make it a top choice for parents seeking medical care for their children in the Queen Creek area, including those residing in Eastmark Mesa.

I had a post hospital concussion appointment with Kevin Hall, the PA. I was disappointed I couldn't see my regular physician . Also had a virus. I was 10 minutes late and Kevin Hall, PA decided not to see me, very unprofessional. I don't recommend any patient seeing Kevin Hall, PA based on his actions. So many times I waited in the waiting room for awhile then waited more in the exam room for my provider. Why is it okay for the patient to wait more than 30 minutes plus for your doctor but when you're 10 minutes late, cannot be seen? Not okay with me. I changed physicians after being a patient for over 11 years. Very sad practices.

I drive 11 miles to see Doctor Matthew Wellock at Banner in Queen Creek. I trust him with my health care, he listens very carefully and addresses my concerns. He is very compassionate, has an excellent bed side manner and is very professional as a doctor.

Finally found a doctor accepting new patients!
My whole experience was positive.  All 8 of my concerns were addressed.  Within 1-3 days I was contacted by all 6
referrals.  I feel the doctor did truly care about my health. Everything went perfectly and I can now check off many items that I kept avoiding on my to do list.

I would just like to let anybody out there know that the banner clinic is outstanding. I was treated in a timely manner everybody was very pleasant down to my nurse the PCP even the people at the front door that greet you. They really make you feel like they care and the quality of service was outstanding too. One of my favorite things about the banner clinic is they have the labs right there they have radiology right there so you don't have to go to a bunch of different places to get some things done that you might need to get done. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Have a blessed day!
