Ace Handyman Services Colleyville

Amazing. I’m SO impressed by the range of work that Ace Handyman services can handle. I own an older house and to me, it’s really important to send all of my home projects to someone I can rely on. I feel like Ace treats your home with the care and attention to detail that they would put into their own homes.

Chris, did a great job assembled a Swedish Ladder Gym, that I bought for my grandkids. He did it in a good time, he is friendly & professional, thanks.

Kurt came to replace weatherstripping and door sweeps on several outside doors and then to hang blinds.  He was great -- quality work, thorough, knowledgeable.  I really like the end results.  I've had one other previous experience with Ace Handyman Services that also went very well, and I'll be using them again in the future.

ACE Handyman technicians are very professional, friendly and caring for the customers. They make sure the jobs are well done satisfying customer’s requirements. Yesterday Alex and Kurt helped me to install bathroom faucets, sinks, toilet and floor. When they found out one sink and the toilet ordered from Home Depot were damaged, Alex helped me to locate the replacement items from Home Depot at two different locations and make sure I would get the replacement with perfect condition. This items’s replacements delayed the work progress and the job could not be completed within a day. Today ACE has tight schedule and is hard to find someone to come to my home to complete the job. Alex was initially planning to be off today, he later canceled his plan and came to get the job done before noon time. I was very happy with their workmanship , cooperation and caring for the customers!

Chris Conyers did a great job on my sundeck that needed repairs from rotting. He paid attention to detail and did a wonderful job. I would use them again. I was very pleased with his work.

Paul Davis Restoration of North Dallas

I have nothing good to say about this company. Homeowners avoid at all costs! Do not take your insurance company referral to them! Trades are sloppy and unprofessional. Some were argumentative and simply rude and yes I have the recordings! They try to make you feel like you are asking too much when you are not happy with the work preformed. Zack the manager is arrogant and condescending. Had the nerve to be disrespectful in my home. He refused to listen to the valid complaints. To this day the water flies out of my sink when washing dishes because they set the apron farmhouse sink too far back! Even after being shown pictures and videos he refused to understand why the position of the sink mattered. You will not get the same or equal quality in material or workmanship and you will not be restored to previous damage conditions. They make tons of promises upfront but fail to deliver. They try to make you feel like you are being a nuisance when trying to advocate for your home. All they are concerned about is bleeding the insurance for as much money as they can, then leave you at the end with a shoddy job. My home was not even professionally cleaned after job completion and trash was left in my garage for me to remove (despite them charging for a trailer for trash removal). They peddle the benefit of a 5 year warranty. But remember folks, the warranty is only as good as the workmanship! My island paint job is horrible and there are screw holes on the perimeter of all the doors and drawers where it was hung to spray paint. The surface is rough and blotchy and I was told “It’s not my problem, it’s the wood”, “you can’t see it if you stand back”. I had to fight to even get it sanded and repainted and it still is horrible. They also shrunk custom curtains, which they never had permission to wash, and claimed to have cleaned a rug which came back uncleaned stained with dry food on it. Despite me showing evidence and immediately sending the rug to be cleaned they did not reach out or even acknowledge their trade did not do the carpet cleaning or try to reimburse me for actually having it cleaned. Several calls were made to Michael and I was ignored. While my project manager Jason was a nice guy and did the best he could given the circumstances he is limited in his ability to force trades to preform, my grudge is not with him. I have had several companies (three to be exact) come out post job completion including the builders tradesman who initially did the house and have records of the poor quality work that was done to finish out the island. Even the wood is proved to be a less grade than I had! And that was not the deal!  The only positive thing I can say is the floor tradesman did a wonderful job, they were always polite, respectful, and attentive to concerns and had done a beautiful job. If you want your home restored after damage to a condition it was before damages in regards to quality materials and craftsmanship DO NOT use PAUL DAVIS! You will be severely frustrated, dragged along, and forced to accept the unsatisfactory job of their trades. They do not stand by the customer! They get in by making promises they don’t intend to deliver on  and cut in quality to line their pockets. They charge primo money on the initial work order then scam the customer with lesser quality items, they submit supplements that are baseless and not preformed in the home, they fail to submit addendums when work on the initial claim is not done (due to intimidation tactics), and fail to even do what the initial work order says like cleaning the home, and for services not rendered. They should be investigated for insurance fraud! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Markus Vasquez did an amazing job with my water restoration. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field. His team was professional, efficient, and exceeded my expectations. His service was top-notch, and the attention to detail was exceptional. I would highly recommend him  to anyone.
Side note:
Because he did such an amazing job. I thought I would use the reconstruction part of your company to finish the repairs. I decided not to use the reconstruction with Paul Davis due to the negative reviews.

Our home was flooded by city backup sewer on 12/16/23, in a matter of minutes we had sewer water filling our tubs and showers and running out in our floors. It was totally devastating! Be sure you are insured for sewer backup I was told I have full coverage but I found out we do not!  My son recommended PaulDavis restoration and I will say Markus & Roland showed up and evaluated the damage to every room of our home and started working as quickly as possible to try to get all the sewer drenched carpet and pad out of every room. Markus explained everything in great detail. He and Roland made it clear that it was a lot of damage but they were there to help us! And there are not adequate words to express how grateful we are that they worked so hard and did not leave us until every room was stabilized and treated to kill all those germs! I highly recommend these two men and this company! They really care about the person and their home! Christmas is in a few days and our home is  uninhabitable and will be for a while but they have helped us get it sanitized and explained to us how to get our lives and our home back! Our insurance denied our claim telling us we are not covered! Markus and others from PaulDavis have treated us with care like we were family! Thank you for everything you two did to help us survive a totally impossible situation and make it better!

Rick Walker did a great job with our house fire and very complicated cleanup inasmuch as the fire, soot, smoke and water damage were much more extensive than the insurance adjuster ever believed. That is until Rick time and again showed more and more fire & water related contamination. His experience and logical thinking gives him an edge over most others. And his professional dedication to us as clients gave us reassurance in a very frustrating situation.

I have had an excellent experience with Paul Davis Restoration for the water remediation issues in my home. They came within hours of being contacted to start the work. There were some things that happened during the process by their agents were very knowledgeable and had positive attitudes. All of these agents did a great job: Estvan Ramirez, Alec Carr, and a special compliment for supervisor Rick Walker. Rick made sure an issue was remediated timely without any stress on us. He was very attentive and kept us updated on the status.  I would definitely use this company again.

Walmart Supercenter

The website is fairly accurate on the in stock items. I am always happy to find staple item grocery products that we use. The front-end registers need to be restocked for bags & cleaned more readily to be able to use the new registers like the register demand requires.

Good place to stop if you're traveling through. I always stop here when I'm going east to Fargo, Morris, MN, or the twin cities. There are lots of discounted items most of the time we stop. Friendly workers, about 90% of the time.

Ordered online and still waiting. Supposed to arrive Saturday and give granddaughter gift. Didn't happen and no reasonable answer is giving.  My opinion they need to figure out their problem before taking orders Temu is more responsible aa far as shipping on time. Yes I understand it's Xmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's

Batteries Plus

They had a coupon for 10% off for first time online/pick up order.  What I ordered ended up being out of stock so they upgraded my motorcycle battery to the next level for the SAME PRICE!!!  Feel like I won today.

Took IPad in with cracked screen. Jason showed exceptional customer service in taking my information. While they did not have any screens in stock, Derek, the lead tech, ordered screen and had the repair done the next day. Derek was also able to charge me less than what I was originally quoted for. Very professional staff and excellent customer service. Highly Recommend!

Called this place 2 times today to make sure i could get my battery changed out and to see if i needed a appt they said no appt needed their open tell 8pm so i drive for 45 mins get there at 545 for the employee to tell me they stop doing that when there's only one employee left at the store at 530 we'll thank you i just drove from Conway !!! So frustrated !!

This place had awesome staff excellent friendly service every battery imaginable all my battery needs are going to come here from now on. I will not go anywhere else they have my business for good. I love you guys. Thank you keep up the good work.

Hanke Brothers

We are very pleased with the window and siding products.  Hanke Brothers made the whole process as easy as possible.  They were the only company that agreed to come as far north as Leslie Ar.  We really enjoyed talking with Jerry and Glen Green. Glen did a fantastic job putting up the siding and cleaning up the trash.  Also the window installer did a very good job with the windows.  Would recommend Hanke Brothers for windows and siding.

I contacted a friend before getting my new gutters installed and he encouraged me to go with Hanke Brothers. I am very happy that I made this choice. They were custom made to fit and we couldn't be happier. Our new gutters match our home and have a leaf free system, I highly recommend Hanke Brothers for Gutter Installation.

Hanke Brothers did an amazing job on my windows and gutters. They had all 19 windows done in 3 days! And the gutters are amazing. We have a ton of trees around the house and the leaf free gutters are a game changer- especially this time of year!

Homer's Hardware - Searcy

I don’t usually post negative reports but Everytime I go into Homer’s Hardware the people are just not that friendly. They are slow to ask you if you need any help and when you do ask for help you feel like your bothering them.

I needed a special fertilizer. 1 employee ask a 2nd employee to assist, after we looked the shelves over and found none.  The young man went the extra mile to locate the fertilizer that I needed and his location was temporarily out of. He called another location and verified the store had the fertilizer. He set up for me to pickup the fertilizer at another Ace Hardware store. I was very impressed and I will return to do more business with Homer's Ace Hardware.

This place is the worst hardware store I’ve ever been to ! Absolutely no help after standing there for 15 or so minutes. Some guy trying to make a key in the back and some woman roaming around like she’s lost ! Homer should be ashamed of himself I wouldn’t buy a nail from them..pitiful..one star is way overrated

Wonderful local hometown hardware store. Excellent selections, friendly and knowledgeable staff always willing to help you find your selections.

Dollar General

This is rated by Melissa Crites.  I have been in many Dollar General stores across many states.  This store is #1.  It is blue ribbon clean, very well stocked, isles were neat, and staff friendly.   I commended the cashier.  My receipt had a number to call for survey, but I lost it.  I just wanted to compliment this store, they are a great representative for your business!

This in particular Dollar General I have shipped at many times now. It is always very clean except during seasonal times in which it is understandable that it takes time to organize and appropriate where the correct things go. Otherwise the staff is always very helpful when they can be found as there is usually only one employee in the store.

Variety, excellent customer service, neighborly!, very fair marketing and competitive pricing make this "the General Solution", to most of anyone's shopping needs! Happy Holidays DOLLAR GENERAL STORES OF SEARCY!....ALL OF EM!

Love the store. I live nearby so I stop here quite often. The 1 star rating is to hopefully get DolGenCorp attention. C'mon folks, you ADVERTISE and give incentives to use your app, kinda hard to do when YOUR WIFI DOESN'T WORK. The same issues exist in just about every store in this area. FIX IT

very clean and organized store.  they were unpacking boxes on this visit, but that is not usual. always an enjoyable shopping experience.  clerks are always very friendly.

This place was definitely larger than what I'm used to, which is cool but also a madhouse trying to find where everything is. Everything seems to be put in such odd orders. I guess I'm used to my own store having beauty and hair products along with perfumes, lotions, and medicine all on one side of the store.

I found some very cute things, and I loved the assortments, but I didn't like how busy it was (not the stores fault).

Tried to find some clear bags for a concert but found nothing.

The staff was friendly and helpful, however.  just speaking from my own experience, it was tricky finding everything we needed. Especially with how bad our heads were, and we had someone else depending on us to get back to them; but I wish we could've stayed to look around!

Called four times. Put on hold. Unfortunately no one came back to phone. Would like to see that someone answering phones speak better English. Don't care what national they are. If they can't be understood, shouldn't be answering phone. Very difficult to communicate. Also train where products are.

This Walmart is so clean and we'll stocked. The best freshly stocked produce than any other Walmart around. The best selection I always shop here. And today I saw Girl Scouts outside, how lovely 😍 I have not seen the Girl Scouts in many years. I hope they stay.

The store is really crowded and some areas feel dirty.  Most of the staff is really nice but there are a few that could use some training in how to treat people.  Their delivery system for Plus ➕️  customers is not the best.  I haven't received my order although they posted a picture of the bags n front of someone's house. Called the store and nobody answers. Disappointed

Neighborhood Ace

This place is the bee's knees!
You walk in and you're greeted by a beautiful woman, (cause all the ladies that work there are beautiful) and then there's so much to look at and many options to choose from no matter what you're looking for and everyone that works there is soo helpful, polite, and courteous. Plus they have fresh popcorn too, so there's that. Yeah. Go on in there..don't hesitate.

I am absolutely thrilled with the help in this store. It is outstanding with all of the new shelving and items that are available! I walked in today and told the young man what I wanted. He cut and threaded the pipe in the pics below. He made my plan come to fruition! Thanks Princeton Ace hardware!!

I came from out of state and got my fishing license and hunting license.  The young man was so accomplished I was very happy on my trip.

I was at the store this morning to try to find a replacement hot surface igniter for our furnace because the heat went out. Although they did not have the exact plug end that I needed, the guy working in the department (didn’t catch his name) was extremely helpful and I was able to use a very similar part and splice together the original plug end to it and we have heat again! Thank you!!

Got in and found what I was looking for relatively easy and with no issues, then proceeded to the check-out line and was to register in no time at all. I was greeted by a courteous checkout Clerk who was proficient in their job and was out the door with no hold-ups.

Great store. I got there early needing highlighters for church. She opened the door right on time and took me to where they were. They had the multiple color pack that I needed. I bought it and made it to church with time to spare.  I will definitely be back to shop at yhis this store. Conviene and great service!!!

I had a basket of stuff I needed for the house and my total ended up being close to $90 I asked the lady to put some back for me because I only had $76 and the manager (I think) told me to keep it and she paid for the rest of my bill even though she didn't have to!!  I am so beyond thankful and I sure will pay it forward!!

Not open at posted times. I sat for 10 minutes. Several customers came and went away frustrated.

I was feeling really bad from some food I ate and ended up in the bathroom sick. Apparantly it was close to closing time. Why I don't know cause Dollar Generals I've been to close at 10 and it was only around 8:30, but anyway...the girl who worked there was rushing people around because they were "needing to close". She did help in the fact that my husband bought body wash that I was allergic to and she ran it back in and exchanged it for us so I didn't have to get back out.

Every dollar general store isles r always crowded. Wonder y they can't hire more high school seniors for stocking that want a job so they can stay uncluttered! I have gotten expired food from this store twice! Manager sincerely aplogized for the situation saying they will take expired things down. Nice friendly workers on top of that . And 4 stars cause Beebe dollar general is still cleaner and better than some others I won't mention what city which they get a 2..
