Ace Handyman Services St Clair Shores

Ron was not only very skilled at completing my requested tasks in record time, but he was most personable as well. He also provided a lot of good advice on household issues and how best to keep things in good working order. I would definitely welcome him back for any future requests. This is my 3rd time using Ace Handyman Services this year and I have been delighted each time!

Wow - these guys were GREAT!  Were very responsive and easy to work with during the scheduling process.  We were lucky enough to have Kyle and Andon come to repair our fence gate -  a large tree branch had knocked it down.  They showed up right on time and were great in communicating the process and timeline clearly.  I was working from home that day on lots of conference calls and they were good about just texting updates and questions when needed. The end product is perfect and professional.  10/10 would use again and recommend!

Tommy did a great job.  Will be having him come back!  He patched drywall and cleaned and painted two doors.  He put up our light on pole out near street and also painted pole!  Great job work is excellent!

Tommy was on time, very pleasant and went about his work carefully, efficiently and took time to explain what he saw that needed attention he could not provide (probability of mold under beneath the sink where he had replaced a faucet and pulled out the soaking wet floor board in the cabinet).  Before he left, he cleaned the area under the sink and vacuumed out the debris from the damaged floor board.  Tommy called the office and got the name and number of a mold mitigation company I could contact.   Definitely a conscientious worker and a considerate person who seems to really care about his customers.

The service I received today was excellent & embodied all of what you your rating system asks for. He was professional, on-time, responsive and did a fantastic job installing my faucet. Tommy is gem & deserves recognition for turning my experience around & making Ace Services a great value. Thanks again, Tommy!

Honestly I'm not sure what's better, service or selection!  This family runs one of the best Ace hardwares I've ever been into!  Keep up the awesome work team!

Walmart Supercenter

Worse company I've ever had to deal with on several occasions. Nothing ever goes smoothly & seems like customer service just doesn't care about there clients. I have to take medication for anxiety to be able to deal with these people! As big as this company is it shouldn't have this many problems.

Love this store soooooo much!! It's like our second home. You can always find what you need there.

I don't normally like going to Walmart but I went very early the other day for some cupcakes for my nephew and sons Halloween parties. It was quiet and I was able to get in and out without having anxiety issues.

Great store with nice variety of merchandise. However we were very surprised & displeased with the amount of grocery carts all around the parking lot. Do you not have workers collect them? We were there 3 days in a row and each day was the same. We had to move carts out of the way to park in a spot.

Staff is very helpful. Didn't like that they were out of some of the things I wanted but that's the way things go these days. One didn't know what I was talking about when I asked him where the malt was located. I laughed a lot

Prescott Valley Ace Hardware

I'm just a little incensed right now as I write this review, I purchased some garden supplies and there selection was limited because it's November (understandable).

I purchased the last two ceramic pots and matching saucers plus a few other items.  Anyway, the saucers were stained and dirty and I asked if I could get a reduction because of the condition that the saucers were in.  I got a resounding NO, it was a small request. Like I said I purchased several other items my purchase total was $88.38.  There was a time when custom satisfaction meant something.  It just ruined my afternoon and I will never shop at ACE Hardware again.

Ace Hardware used to offer legendary customer service. They use to also offer a vast selection of harder to find items the box stores would never consider carrying.
That included Prescott Valley Ace Hardware, but in the last ten years the customer service has all but disappeared, in large part due to the employees knowing little or nothing about the products and showing little interest in helping.
It's also unfortunate Ace has chosen to peddle overpriced brands like Yeti, Stihl, and Traeger when their overall prices are already higher then the box stores.
To make matters worse, they recently changed the layout of the store, although for some reason they never finished the remodel. Not only is the layout illogical, with the hardware section being separated into two sections for instance, but the departments are smaller and the selection has been cut back. If they insisted on relocating the open stock hardware they could have at least moved the rest of the hardware section to the area directly adjacent. That would have provided a perfect place for counter height drawers and bins with  plenty of space for filling out the parts bags or working out the needed hardware for a current project.
I doubt it's a coincidence but the section selling overpriced grills and fluff is now twice the size.
Sadly, other then the occasional hard to find item there is no incentive to choose Ace over Lowes or Home Depot.

Poor customer service experience. An employee said I could not return some merchandise, even though I had my receipt and it was less than 24 hours since the purchase. I ask to speak with the manager. The employee then tried to get an another employee to gang up on me and join the discussion. After repeatedly asking for the manager, I was taken to him, but the employee hung around and wanted to keep arguing. I finally got the employee to leave and stop trying to bully me. The manager heard me out and did allow my return. What an ordeal.

Did a great job of cutting a number of  keys for me. All worked. Pleasant and helpful unlike Lowes and home Depot where it is always hard to find someone to help you.

Budget Blinds of Prescott

So impressed with the customer service and final product we received from Budget Blinds. Tyler and his team were so helpful and were happy to answer all my questions. I love how our new blinds and shades turned out!

We moved into our cozy home, our retirement home in a lovely neighborhood. Our neighbors, who are managers of Budget Blinds of Northern AZ, fit two windows for us after we moved in. We are pleased with their well built and good looking blinds; they are beautiful window coverings. I enjoy opening and closing them every day. They add so much to the beauty of our home!
(Must mention, the Budget Blinds people were great to work with!)

Very happy with the service and the products. This is the 3rd time we've had Budget Blinds to our house. We have remote powered blinds, a sky light blind, and just had installed 2 blackout shades in the master bedroom. Now we can sleep in a little. Not get up when a few shafts of light wake our dog.

I wish I could give this poorly ran establishment a negative ⭐️these people are the absolute worst. I’ve been waiting in pickup for an hour. I literally had to get out my car and walk in to speak with a manager. I absolutely understand why people shop at target…this Walmart is a hell hole an should be shut down…I hope the powers that be read this…you really need to do better…a Aldi is opening and I hope they close this Walmart down…I can assure you I will absolutely be shopping there..DO NOT EVER GO TO PICKUP…THEY ARE LAZY IDIOTS..NO CAP…NEVER HAVE I EVER EXPERIENCED THIS LEVEL OF UNPROFESSIONAL STUPIDITY

These SCAN&GO needs to gone. It’s not worth having because when there’s something wrong or what not, no one is there to assist the customers. We have to raise our hand and all, so they can see us…ROUSE’S doesn’t have SCAN&GO. Almost all of their cashier counters are open because they hire employees and give them good pay. And the pic below 👇🏼 is what I saw when I was in the restroom at the Manhattan Blvd Walmart. That’s filthy dirty…clean it up!

One of the LESS crowded Walmart’s, in my opinion. Associates are always pleasant and helpful. Shelves are mostly stocked and the temp is appropriately set!

Horrible customer service. Asked for some help at the electronic department and was never helped. Waited for over 30 minutes and I asked for help several times. Store ended up closing and I was asked to leave. Really needed some toner for our printers but washed to come back the next day since the store was closed. I tried to explain my situation and they said there was nothing they could do because it was past closing time.

Perform my grocery shopping online then pick up on following day. Store representatives prompt and courteous with busy amount of shoppers. Have to gives at a boy to all the representatives busy at work.

Ace Handyman Services Southeast Columbus

Paul was really good at explaining the products that are available and options for new shower installation.  Great customer service and did not come across as pressuring us to make a decision for a sale like some other companies we have experienced.  A local showroom that we can visit is an added plus as well.

After completion of the project we are extremely happy with how it turned out.  Mark and RJ did a fantastic job. Really professional and courteous. We had a great experience with Ace Handyman Services from consultation to completion. Project was completed on schedule and within budget.  Mark was especially good at explaining options and stayed on task. Great customer service. I would use Ace again and would definitely recommend them.

We have used Ace Handyman Services on two occasions and based on our experience they will be our go to service for any type of work needed around our house.  We were fortunate to have Mark complete both services.  Mark did an excellent job.  He immediately goes to work and quickly knocks out one project after another.  He communicates throughout the process and goes above and beyond.  We completely trust Mark and his work.  We highly recommend this company.  Thanks to Mark for the excellent work!

I interviewed three companies to do some light reno work at my Mom's house to prep it for sale. While Ace wasn't the least expensive I feel they earned every penny I spent. The tech, Ryan W., was amazing, on time and under budget. He was very pleasant, helped me make some hard decisions,  and his work ethic was top notch. I was very pleased with the outcome. 10/10 will be hiring them again to do some work on my own home.

I needed outside work done on my house and found it difficult to find someone willing to give me an estimate and even pick up a business phone. How refreshing to speak with Andrea who answered all of my questions up front. Then Mark came out and listened and cared about my work that needed to be done. He explained what he would do, gave a detailed explanation of the estimate and offered his work with no pressure whatsoever. Mark just finished all of my work and even completed some other work that I needed. Mark showed me his progress as he completed his work throughout the day. It really was a great experience from beginning to end. Thank you Ace Handyman. I fully recommend Mark for your work!

Mark was great. Knocked out multiple projects in our kitchen remodel in a fraction of the time of the original contractor and a fraction of the cost. Showed up early and got right to work. Outstanding job and extremely professional.

Conveniently close, open long hours EVERYDAY is great !!One serious problem is the constant Out of Stock issues at this store (maybe due to high theft?).  The Fairly friendly staff, also can be very honest like when I left my iPhone on a product shelf and on another occasion my iPad in the cookies area. Both were turned into Customer Service, the phone held by a great employee in the jewelry Dept. She and her friend were looking for me the night i misplaced it. Great Service Ladies! Go Walmart!

My biggest problem with this location is people are CONSTANTLY parking in the assigned pickup service spots to go into the store to shop!!!  It's ridiculous that this is not monitored and will only get worse during the holidays.  People are aweful and just simply don't care.  All those spots are clearly marked.  If you're not going to use the pickup service then leave the parking spots for the people that do.

They were out of a lot of items, and checking out was a nightmare. It took me longer to checkout than it did for me to go around the store to get my groceries. At checkout the cashier ran out of ones, and went to customer service to get some more. He had taken money to buy ones but instead they give him a new till. Since he had already rang up someone's groceries and owed her money that was going to make the tools wrong, so we just told him to take a 5 one-dollar bills out of the new till and replace it with a $5 bill out of the old one so he was able to give her change. When he tried to check out the next customer whatever the managers had done caused the scanner not to work so we had to wait for a manager to come back and fix that. They just need to get it together at Walmart because they're not doing Justice to the customers.

I came today to pick up an online order. I waited in my car for over 1 hour. I can accept that, evidently there were lots of orders, there were many cars waiting. What is unacceptable is that some people skipped the line, they just showed up in their cars, parked wherever they want to and the walmart staff brings out their stuff bypassing the cars who are in line. To make things worse this people park wherever they want, blocking the exit of cars parked in the designated/numbered spots. Which makes things even slower. The only explanation is that the staff at this store has a system where you can pay under the table to skip the lines and get your stuff delivered quickier. I tried to complain about this in the store. No one cared, they were too busy collecting the bribes and bringing out stuff for the people skipping the lines.

Ace Handyman Services

This was definitely not a professional service. It took the young man 3 1/2 hours to hang 4 blinds. The owner agreed to only charge us for 2 hours but the work was not professional. Ruined one blinded which was replaced by Ace Handyman but made the whole process more complicated. He then left all of the trash and mess from his work which is unacceptable for a professional service job especially at the rate they are charging.

Installed glass shower door at very reasonable price. The crew of two came on time as scheduled and completed the installation in few hours. They did a superb job. I will highly recommend their services.

Had a wonderful experience with Chris! He did great work and we appreciated his time management skills. Unfortunately our job was first assigned to Randy. Randy worked at our home from 9a-3p on Thursday, 7/20 and 9a-3p on Friday, 7/21. Randy also worked a small 1:30p-3p shift on Tuesday, 7/25. Randy worked 2 full shifts and a small hour and a half shift before we had Chris show up on the last day (Friday, 7/28). Chris not only performed better workmanship but he was a lot more efficient. My wife and I truly wish we would have had Chris all along. Job would have been finished in first two days - by 7/21.

Great experience! Hobie showed up before the scheduled appointment time and immediately got to work. My gate looks great! I will definitely use and recommend Ace Handyman Services for future projects

Chris did an excellent job on the drywall!! Two areas were difficult to do but Chris did a fantastic job working on them, one would not know that the drywall had to be replaced! I highly recommend Chris!!

Target

Employees are so rude and I just had a horrible experience. Price matching is one of the reasons I love Target, and they immediately denied it. They spoke to me in a condescending tone, I love target but I would 10000000% rather do self checkout or never go to that store again. I left the store feeling horrible bc of how I was treated.

Nice Place All Employees Very Respectful Polite,Kind and Knowledgeable about their Jobs.Busy Time of Year and All Employees had Smiles on There Faces.Experience was A Good One.Will go back.

Mark helped me find a present for my little cousin & asked about my day. Then I didn’t get her name but a young girl cashier was so nice and helpful with the app.

First time in a target store, the store was clean the works are nice I'll be going back.

Great store with tons of merchandise. We went for some birthday gifts but found they had a few different bags of frozen veggies for .95 and .99 cents.
