DO NOT TRUST BUSINESS HOURS! I showed up at 11:35 on a Saturday (posted hours are 11:00-17:00 on Saturdays) and it was closed. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Came to the store well before closing and the dude decided to take out the trash right then. He put up a sign that he was out, told me he'd leave and just left. I don't work a store but it seems to me that if there's just one employee there he should take the trash out AFTER closing so the store can stay open until store hours that are specified. I paid for parking and now have to extend it because he has me waiting out here for 20 minutes. Do not visit this location.

This is the worst store. Person working there doesn’t know anything and gave me wrong information on buy 2 get 1 free. He charged full for 2 and 1 for 50% off.  When I returned the third product he messed up the bill and paid back $20 less blaming it on the computer system. When I requested him to cancel and redo it correctly he wouldn’t do it. Buyers beware of this shop and save your money unless you want to be scammed ! I wish I could give a zero star.

Why is this store even open if no one is actually going to work? Not sure how it’s still operating if every time during working hours they put up a sign to step away from the counter. Will happily spend my dollars elsewhere.

Bad customer service, bad vibes, small dark room.
Here is my small adventure with this place. There is no signage in the street, so after parking I spent 5 minutes looking for it, asking local businesses, calling to get directions, (noone picks up), and when I eventually find the place I’m kicked out as I am 8 minutes late. In essence I lost my Saturday morning time to do my workout, parking fees, drive time and credits on ClassPass. The woman at the front desk was unapologetic about ignoring the call, the class was maybe 1/3 full and nobody cared I’m shopping for a new home for my workouts. I’ve tried other amazing barre studios in the city, and this one is a stark contrast with its lack of friendliness, atmosphere, decore etc. Crossing this one off the list pretty easily.

I love this studio! It's largely replaced my daily trip to the gym. Instructors are always pushing me to get the best workout I can, and they're always running some sort of challenge to keep my coming in and working. Their merch is really cute. Front desk staff is always welcoming. And they have free parking! Which is great for a downtown location. Highly recommend!

I am so glad I joined the studio! I have made so many friends and love coming to class. It is a great full body workout that I look forward to doing usually 6 times a week!

Still my favorite place!! Now about 4 1/2 years, and I still love it as much if not more than on the beginning! Great workout every time, love that no class is the same! Always keeps us on our toes… literally! Haha

Especially since the pandemic Pure Barre  Northloop has been a must for my mental health! They have done an awesome job at making sure we have access to classes, whether in studio or virtual, and have really rolled with the punches with all type changes, and updates ensuring that everyone stays safe and comfortable. Wonderful teachers and community!

Purposeful Pilates

Purposeful Pilates is a top notch Pilates studio in the North Loop! Daniel is an amazing instructor who makes sure you understand “the why” behind each movement in Pilates so that you can get maximum benefits. She makes sure you stay safe, no matter what your body limitations are and cares about each of her clients. Practicing Pilates with Daniel has greatly reduced my back pain, increased my flexibility, and made me aware of how to better use my core throughout my everyday activities!

This is a fantastic studio.  Sessions are a little more expensive than you might find at some of the larger fitness centers that offer Pilates, but it is worth every penny.  Danielle, the owner, is very knowledgeable on the practice and takes a highly individualized approach to her instruction.  She also maintains a meticulous studio with strict attention to cleanliness and equipment maintenance.  I've been practicing about 10 years and I'll reserve my spot at this studio for at least the next 10!

Danielle (and all of her instructors) consistently give us a GREAT full body pilates workout. We've been seeing Danielle for 2+ years and we love her professionalism, her patience and her extensive knowledge of pilates. We also love the benefits that come with practicing Pilates regularly.  We always leave feeling unbelievably better than when we arrived. Worth every penny!

Pilates is an ageless exercise regimen. At age 73, I need a fitness routine on which I can build a healthy lifestyle. More importantly, I need a coach who can push me to achieve my flexibility goals but also understand that I don't have the flexibility of a 30 year old. I have found both in Danielle. During my four years with Danielle, my stamina and balance have improved. I used to drag myself to the gym. Now I look forward to making more progress. My mental acuity has also improved. Danielle has a unique way of encouraging and challenging her clients and tailor fits (almost weekly) her workouts for the needs of the client as he or she walks through the door. Like I said, pilates is an ageless regimen with an intuitive coach like Danielle.

I have been a member of Purposeful Pilates for less than one year.  Danielle Linneweber is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent instructor.  She is quite conscious of each of her students limitations and purposefully monitors each of us while teaching.  Her classes are fun and invigorating.  I love it!
