Body By Carrie Personal Fitness Studio

I've been a client of Carrie's for several months now and I've felt a big transformation in my physical strength as well as mental well being. Carrie is great because she focuses on core connectedness, and is personally invested in each and every client. She has a strong set of principles she operates by and it's a fun journey to apply these to my own fitness journey as well as my life.

I've been spinning and working out with Carrie off and on for many years now, and the workout never disappoints.  It's always a good blend of motivating and inspirational, while getting a good sweat going.  Carrie is personable, friendly and the studio atmosphere always hits the spot.  I highly recommdend stopping in if you'd like to have a boutique style experience that always motivates and gets your day started on a good note!

Spin classes with Carrie have been some of the best things I've done this year. Carrie is a force of nature that I respect a hell of a lot. She kicks my butt all the time. Every class is digging deep, pushing hard, and being thankful for the days that we're given. 💕 (Also a disco dance party). Tuesday mornings are the highlight of my week!

After spending 41 years in Minneapolis fitness community. I moved to IC and thought now what but, Carrie welcomed me and did not disappoint she brings her A game each and every time asking of you to do the same. Truly inspirational. Sincerely... she is the best by far

PuroClean of Cedar Rapids

We had Steve and Bob out to our house today to clean our ducts. They arrived on-time, were very kind and kept my house clean before/after and during the whole process. They cleaned out our vents, cold air returns and our furnace and their price was the best that I found around Cedar Rapids. I was so impressed with them that I've already recommended them to multiple friends and neighbors that have asked about getting the same work done. I 100% would recommend them to anyone looking.

We had our sewer back up, they came out same day, and even with the unusual setup were able to get it cleaned up. Very nice and professional!  Even our plumber was impressed!  Will definitely be using them again!

Had a sudden water leak from my kitchen sink and needed to get someone out to the house fast.  A friend recommended Puro Clean and they were on the spot within an hour!  They were very professional, dried down my basement and main level.  Helped walk me through the insurance process as well as dealt with the adjuster on getting my house back to normal as soon as possible.  I can't recommend the owner Adam and his crew enough!

I manage several apartment buildings in the Coralville area and we were needing some help with our apartment turnover. PuroClean stepped in and exceeded our expectations! They were very prompt with their crews and incredibly thorough in the cleaning and maintenance repairs. They came very prepared and the most important they were great to work with!!  We have also continued to use them in some maintenance matters and they fixed to perfection!  Will definitely continue to use PuroClean in the future!

This locally owned business gets an unequivocal A+ in all the categories.  They responded very fast and the work has done with great care and with professionalism. Fit and Fire Studios

Set temperature is 97° at all times they have different classes throughout the day and different time slots to pick your classes. They do have lockers and showers, they also have a little shop in there that you can buy things. You can sign your classes online or you can come in and register also for your class. It is a lot of fun to come to and join the class and if you can't do exactly what the teacher is doing you can do it at your own modifications that is what is nice about the class so if you have never done it you should come out and try it I did and I enjoy it very much And I still coming to the crosses.

This studio is amazing. So many types of classes from hiit to restorative yoga to hot yoga to aerial yoga. All the teachers are amazing, and a real community has been created here. I love my time at Fit & Fire!

Love love this place for so many reasons! The staff is always caring, attentive and so helpful for each student that goes to class.

Campus Recreation and Wellness Center

Nice facility on the outside but the fact that the university charges $2250 PER class and then wants to charge me $10 per day for access shows what a racket this university has become.  Definitely doesn’t serve its community.  Mercer park aquatic center is the best place to lap swim in the Iowa City metro area!

Vast and beautiful rec center that's open to the public. $10 for a day pass and it's well worth it.

3 basketball courts, tons of weight lifting equipment and and a recreation pool area + lap pools and giant rock walls. There is surely more but what I noticed while here!

NOTE: Pools closed 1:30 to 4:30

You guys should update your hours on your website and google! Google update it takes only 30 seconds to do it they even send you reminder for your hours in holidays. It said they are open today at 5:30 in website and google and when we get there there is a sign that said is closed.

I.C. Pilates

Everyone here are so friendly and welcoming. Jennifer tailors her instructions so you can go at an appropriate speed for your level of experience. So glad to have a reliable Pilates studio in town!

Jennifer at I.C. Pilates is truly a phenomenal instructor. Her education in movement is immense and she is able to teach all levels and ages in her studio. Speaking of her studio- holy cow! What an amazing space she has created with top of the line equipment that any Pilates junkie or novice can appreciate. The second you walk in the door at I.C. Pilates you feel welcomed and included. Don’t miss your chance to visit Jennifer and her studio while traveling to Iowa City or for all current residents/students. Pilates truly is for every “body” and Jennifer knows just how to introduce you into the wonderful world of Pilates.

I've been attending I.C. Pilates studio for a couple months now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. The studio itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a calming atmosphere that immediately puts you in the right mindset for a great workout.

Jennifer is a fantastic instructors.  Not only is she skilled and experienced in Pilates, but she is also incredibly attentive to each individual's needs and abilities. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, she will tailor the exercises to suit your level and help you progress. I've seen a significant improvement in my flexibility, core strength, and overall body awareness since I started coming here.

Jennifer takes the time to explain the movements and provide corrections, ensuring that you're getting the most out of each session while also preventing injuries. Jennifer is awesome! Prior to going to IC Pilates I had never done anything like this before and she is really great. She does a great job explaining and is easy to work with and I just feel a million times better and stronger.

I’ve seen this studio grow from the beginning and it has only continued to get better. The studio is amazing. The instruction helped me to improve my movement in ways I did not expect and my body has felt better since taking instruction here.

Best Power Wheelchair

Griswold Care Pairing for Eastern Iowa

This is a mixed bag. The caregiver was such a wonderful young lady and did so well. We couldn't have asked for better. Brian was good to work with. When it was time to deal with insurance it wasn't so pretty. Griswold has no license number, they said it's not required in Iowa. The workers are not insured, and  the caregivers are not certified.
In the beginning Brian filled out paperwork for the insurance company that my parents used.He assured me they work with all kinds of insurance. In the end Griswold Home Care didn't qualify for my parents insurance because of qualifications not met. It was an expensive lesson.

Both caretakers we had for my mother in law were excellent. Griswold Home Care was flexible and efficient with scheduling and they were able to make changes as our family needs changed

The caretaker treats my mother very nastily, yells and screams at her. It’s inexcusable and intolerable. She won’t report her, but I will!

Do your own background checks on anyone that they send to your home!  That was a very expensive lesson for us to learn.

The property is serene and vibrant with simplistic natural beauty. The location is perfect to step away from the busyness and plunge into Arkansas finest landscapes. The owners and residents are kind and welcoming. The retreats and programs are perfectly curated. I strongly recommend SEVA service. Nothing blends the teachings of yoga and meditation better than giving back selfless service to your teachers and the
land.

My experience at the Circle Yoga Shala has left me with a different sense of myself and what I want to do next. The program was everything I was looking for and more. The 200YTT program provides a foundational framework for posture, movement, sequencing, and cueing which allows creativity and authenticity without sacrificing form and integrity. The training respectfully meets students at all levels of incoming knowledge, providing a supportive space for inquiry. The teachings of yoga philosophy provide a meaningful connection to yogic wisdom, with reverence for its origins. The surroundings are beautiful and the food offerings healthy and thoughtfully prepared from ingredients grown and raised on the grounds. There are lots of sweet and friendly dogs, chickens, and horses too. I am grateful for this beautiful community in the Ozarks and the opportunity I’ve had to receive training here. I will value the fellowship I’ve encountered throughout my life.

I attended the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and received so much more. My soul is firmly attached to my body and my entire life has been changed for the better. I can't express enough gratitude. They helped me truly deeply understand some very important life lessons. They also sent us home with the tools to remain this intentional and to teach others. Jason measured me, said it'd take three months and delivered in two.  Listened to my needs and reassured me when I asked about warranty!
Upfront, read that manual about product and understand capabilities.
Takes straight Medicaid when no one else would.  Very nice guy texted me and kept me up to date on progress of 6 steps to get electric wheelchair.  Thanks guys! You dah best!

Jeff was very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend this company with anyone with a disability they understand and are willing to help in anyway they can, I look forward to working with Jeff and his company in the future.

My wheelchair was damaged by an airline a couple months ago. The company coordinating replacement set me up here. I was able to get remeasured to ensure my chair still was a perfect fit. I just received the replacement (~2 months after the incident) and they were able to check the fit and make any adjustments I needed. They also shipped the loaner chair back to the coordinating company for me.

After assessing our needs, the products were ordered and installed within 3 weeks.  All representatives were friendly, helpful and professional.  Would recommend this company to anyone who has seating and mobility issues.

Wish there was negative star rating. Was given run around from the very beginning. After numerous months still never received my mobility scooter. Phone calls never returned, dealer never sent paperwork for reasons why I wasn't able to get my scooter, depression set in and became suicidal. Waste of time. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY you won't get what you need
