Staff is friendly and very helpful. Plenty of machines and equipment. This is the place to go, regardless of your level of fitness, you can get a good workout here.

Facilities are 5/5, but the pool keeps having problems and they do a sub par job of letting people know before they get up there it's closed. what's the point in paying monthly to use a lap pool, and it's not even able to be used in the posted pool hours.

Love this place except in the beginning signing up for a training program. I wasn't told I would be locked into an ongoing monthly payment situation for 3 months in a row. Have to make sure you cancel and also have to use Your Paid training days up within a certain amount of time or you lose what you already paid for. But the supervisor over that program left, so I don't know if communication  is better now or not, I did enjoy the trainers I had though. since I'm no longer paying for a trainer. I love all of the things this gym has to offer, including many classes, access to a pool( both hot and cold sides) and the saunas( wet and dry) in the locker room. It really helps my muscles recuperate faster and not hurt so bad the next day.

Since my Doctor recommended that the warm water in the Lazy River part of the pool might help my legs and other ailments, I  have been walking at a mile 3 days a week for a number of years.  Ms Pat who works the desk in the early morning is always pleasant and sunny even on a cloudy day.  The life guards are so accommodating and watchful.  I have also met people who I now consider friends. It is a pleasure to go to Health Works.

Studio B Pilates

Amy Beversdorf and her staff at Studio B Pilates are experts in their fields.  Each class is challenging, and with their personalized cueing, I feel stronger and longer after each class!

StretchLab

Started coming 2 months ago and thought a couple stretches and I’d be done…I was wrong! I come every Sunday and look forward to it every week. It’s helping with my overall flexibility, mood and chronic headaches. Zuhair is my flexogist and is terrific to work with-talented, informative, and educational!

Unfortunately I had to change my review. I ended up suffering a medical emergency (which proved to be quite expensive) that overstretching from StrechLab contributed to. They made me jump through some hoops to cancel, but reluctantly did allow it (their business model seems to be that of some gyms, sure you can cancel anytime, but with all of these very inconvenience steps).  My objection is not that - but it’s good to know going in. My objection is they charged me for another month and informed me it was non refundable. If I end up in hospital I think that would sufficient for them to make an exception to a somewhat predatory and outdated way of bringing in revenue.

Another thing to be mindful of is that they do have some knowledgeable and exceptionally competent “flexologists”, there are also some techs without sufficient knowledge to be working with clients without direct supervision.

I went for my 1st stretch a month ago at the behest of an already established client... Dave Hayes. They fell nothing short of perfection and delivered an incredible assisted stretch.

I was particularly impressed with their digital assessment program manufactured by TRX specifically for them, to assess tight points in each individual. Had I given them a list beforehand, that program nailed every one of them.

I was given a very thorough full body assisted stretch, and was more than satisfied with the results.

It's a very comfortable and pleasant environment, and highly recommend it.

I was forced to buy socks and they doubled charged me $15 for one sock. Very disappointed

I’m so happy you opened this Wheaton location. Elise does a great job with my stretches-she really makes a point to work on what bothers me most each session. Thanks to Julie and Megan and other support staff members, too. They are always helpful with scheduling and are very welcoming.

DZ BootCamp

There is so much to tell about this place! Since the moment me and my friend walked into DZ bootcamp Dan made us feel welcomed and was very informative about DZ mission. I had been going to this place for a little over a year and have had the opportunity meet most of the coaches. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and most importantly they help you focus on your fitness goal. DZ bootcamp is a great place to start your fitness journey, they have well qualified trainers, classes are fun and the classes/programs offered are very affordable.

Amazing place with great people! Truly love it here, Don is a great trainer and all around good guy. The sessions are exhausting and I feel great afterwards. The other people that go here are amazing too, just a really solid group of people trying to better themselves, no judgment, just everyone working hard and uplifting each other

If you are bored at the gym, and have no idea what routine to do next, DZ bootcamp is an excellent place to get out of your routine. Great staff, great work-outs that will keep you on your toes but will make you fall in love with working out. Excellent experience. 100% recommend!

Amazing Bootcamp!!  Coaches are great and supportive . Joined a couple months ago and already dropped some inches and notice a big difference. Everyone is very friendly and motivate each other to never give up! After classes I always feel super tired but at the same time amazing ! Each workout class is different and challenging.
I really recommend this place. But it’s not enough, you should be come and try.

I been coming to DZ for about 10 months! I love it! Love the full body work outs, strength training and boxing classes.The atmosphere is very friendly and everyone is welcoming, we all motivate each other, no judgment zone for sure! I was going to a regular gym and had no  idea what to do as far as getting some sort of muscle tone, so I would just run on the treadmill, here the coaches train you on how to build strength and muscles 💪 and loose weight! Would recommend. 🙂

Surge To New Levels Gym

Best powerlifting gym I have ever step foot in. I have never met a gym owner more invested and dedicated to the people that walk through their doors. Both Sergio and Jackie (owners) have created a culture like no other and It shows through everything they do. Their “heart” is what makes everyone family.

Sergio is great as Is paco. First boxing session and was made to feel welcome and will be going back for sure! Mike the PT has basically changed my life lol ...I also box with jay and I can't tell you how great it is

Coming in with zero weight training experience and looking to increase strength, Sergio was totally welcoming.  He set me up with Mike, the lead trainer, who asked me about experience, goals, and lifestyle.  From there, set me up with Anna as a personal trainer, who I must say is AWESOME.

People are friendly and helpful.  The community attitude is not just marketing.  Within a month, it was apparent it permeates the facility and members, so I flipped from monthly to annual.

Great gym, even for those who are not powerlifting.

Awesome gym! I have been working out with Sergio for about 6 months now (only once a week) and I can’t believe the progress I have made in such a short time! I feel stronger each week, and have PRs to prove it! I can’t imagine how strong I’d be if I could fit more days into my schedule! Sergio takes the time to truly understand your fitness goals and works hard to make a fitness plan that is best for YOU.

Also, the gym is super clean and very well maintained.

Midwest Strength & Performance

MSP is the best gym I've joined in a long time. I've been going consistently for 3 months now and have already seen results in strength gains, lean muscle gains, etc. I highly recommend you check it out! I actually look forward to going to the strength and conditioning classes and actively look to schedule a class if my regular time doesn't work for a particular week. That's when you know it's a good place! The coaches and all the members are so positive and helpful. It's a great environment for people of any fitness level.

The club is Amazing, our coach Zane was so cool, friendly and also hard worker. I very liked the environment, each coach that you discussed With is so friendly. That's a very cool and working environnement that you want to follow to reach your target.

I’ve always been intimidated by weight training because I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. MSP has been the perfect place for me to learn the ropes! Nice people all around.

I like that they don’t just throw you into the group classes and have you do three, 1:1 Foundations sessions (s/o to Alex!) at the onset.

Their structure of 3 classes per week package helps me stay consistent, and the class sizes are usually only 4-8 people. I’m almost two months in and feeling great.

If you are a person who feels nervous to begin your fitness journey, MSP is your solution. The group of coaches at this place want to see you succeed, and they will guide you through your goals and beyond. Additionally, the variety of programs offered to you will kickstart your motivation to become the person you’ve always wanted to be. Personally, I have been at this gym for about 3 and a half years now, and they have forever changed my life!

Huge fan of MSP — the community, the gym/equipment & all of the excellent coaches\trainers. I’ve worked closely with Zane for the last year — he’s been instrumental in building a (much) stronger me. He’s great at tailoring my goals with specific workouts. I appreciate his positive attitude every day, eager to work hard and push me. I actually look forward to each opportunity to work out these days, a dramatic shift from decades of no strength training whatsoever. Very grateful for MSP and wish them continued success with great leadership.

D1 Training Bloomingdale

I love that this gym has something for the whole family! My twins and 13 year old love the kid’s classes and benefit so greatly from them. Speed, agility, endurance etc. a great overall workout and helps them in their sports. The classes for me have led to weight loss, muscle gain and better overall health. The trainers are so supportive and kind. The class participants all know each other and build each other up. I am so grateful to have found this gym.

D1 Bloomingdale has transformed the confidence in my 8 year old son to heights I could have never imagined.  Their group classes and personal training have given him the tools to try his best at no matter what he is doing.

Kaylee’s youth group classes teach hard work and versatility all while providing a fun environment to exercise and excel. Each class is never the same is great for kids of all ages.

Aaron’s individual training has provided my son with increased agility and flexibility, along with a strong level of determination to maximize his potential as a young athlete. His level of knowledge is unmatched and will help anyone achieve their highest potential.

Tony is a great leader at this location and has helped to tailor a great program for my son. He diligently works to accommodate our schedule and is always looking for innovative ways to improve training methodology. We are grateful that we have found D1 Bloomingdale as an elite athletic option for our son.

My son has been with D1 Training for about 2 weeks or so (he was very hesitant at first) been hooked ever since!
We are sure we will see some changes in his strength, agility and most of all his confidence.

The coaches are all very positive. I love how they mix things up in each session to keep up the interest in the kids.

I tried to sign up for the ‘Free’ 6 week back to school shred challenge. The first call I get from here, Tony, I asked how much do I pay. He lied straight up ‘it says free so it’s free you pay zero’. Then they call me in for orientation saying you have to deposit 600$ initially and we pay you back if you achieve the goal of loosing 15 pounds or 5% of body fat or you get to workout for free for a year. I don’t mind paying whatever amount you ask, the problem is you are a bunch of liars and I can’t trust liars. Also Tony told me if I continue doing what I am doing I am not going to get anywhere. As if they are the only fitness center in the whole of USA who will make you do it the right way.

put my info for this place only to get a call from a very pushy guy, I believe his name was Tony, wouldn't stop talking, very rude. Told me im going to waste my time trying out other places as if they are the only gym out there. Its a red flag when they are that desperate to get clients. Plus the program is not free they trap you by having you put down $600 upfront. He said I will know if you cheat, follow my program and you will see results then get your money.

Anytime Fitness

Very good place to workout. It's clean and organized. Staff are friendly and cooperative. One note is the music speaker are a bit loud even when your headphones are on.

Extremely loud annoying music.  We do not all have the same taste.  Turn the music down or off.  Also it was freezing.  Did you forget to pay the gas bill?  Worst AF I've ever been to, and I travel for work so I've been to a lot.   If I could give a negative rating, I would but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest.

Good: equipment/machines and bathroom
Bad: it's either very cold or too hot and its been like that for awhile. Why can't it just be a steady 68 degrees like any other place? Have already complained about this in the past. Today feels like 77 and just the other day was very cold felt like 62

This gym is headed in the wrong direction. The bathrooms are not clean anymore, the machines are not wiped down and dusted like before, the hydroMassage has been broken the last 1.5 months. The staff is no where near as qualified as it once used to be.

Wow!  The club exceeded my expectations.  There’s so much I like about the club.

1. the intimacy of the club. It’s not so big and overcrowded. I don’t feel intimidated.
2  I feel so welcomed. The staff is amazing. They give you undivided attention. They truly care about your progress.
3. The amenities- The facility is very clean and well kept. I specifically love the body scan and that massage chair!  AWESOME!
4. The price- You get premier service at an affordable price.

I’m excited about my journey. I’m gaining  so many benefits while also losing!

I recently signed up here and I’m so glad i did. The facility is spotless, the equipment and machines are great and high quality. All the staff members have been really pleasant so far. I also love that they have two of almost every machine.

great gym, close to home. the trainers are very helpful. the manager is friendly and does his best to keep the facility clean. wish the TVs worked on the cardio machines. and had more channels to choose from. I'm happy to call Anytime Fitness Schaumburg my 2nd home!

I love the studio with the on demand workouts!

It's a goldilocks size and full of equipment.  The gym is never crowded. Staffed during the day, but overall a good place for any fitness level.

Fire House Gym

Staff was super polite and helpful for my daughter's bday party.  They are closed Sundays and host bday parties that day which was super nice because we had the place to ourselves.  The kids had a great time!

Love this place! Coach Jill is great! My boys LOVE the ninja class they offer. Lots of class options and a nice waiting room for parents!

My daughter has been going cheer for three years. I can’t say enough about the staff and all their hard work they put in to get their teams ready for competitions. great gym for your children to attend.

Have taken rec gymnastics classes and have had many birthday parties here. Great staff,  lots of equipment and clean.  Birthday parties are so easy and the kids always have a blast!

Bri is really nice and it's a good place to hang out with friends
