The Honey Baked Ham Company

Since they closed the HBH company near me, I had to drive an hour north to the closest store. It's still worth the drive foe everyone to go nuts over the ham and smoked turkey for Thanksgiving!

What can I say, there meats are all delicious. Good thing I live 40 miles away because if I lived any closer I would never leave. Thank you Honey Baked Ham Company.

Love me some honey baked ham! Wish they weren't so expensive tho I save up my gift cards from my employer and get a nice ham for Christmas or Thanksgiving.  I've never tried their sandwiches and such so I should go by here and give them a whirl and see how they compare to other options in the same price range. Will update my review when I get a chance to swing by for lunch.

We were told today that we couldn't pay with a gift card if we were using a coupon.  We were told to choose one or the other.  That is ridiculous!  A gift card is money. It seems you are punishing us for having prepaid by not allowing us to use a coupon.  I regret that we purchased gift cards for holidays 2021...never again with this new change.

Walmart Supercenter

Shelves were a mess. I fell walking  out hit the security guards car and he just kept eating. My buggy fell over and  I was trapped between the car and the buggy. Thank goodness a young man came running   and helped me.  The security guard stayed in his car. I will never go back.

Nice Walmart (as Walmarts go). Clean, variety of products, nice staff. Really weird that we saw a woman in her bathrobe...with nothing on underneath (at least on top)...I know there's no dress code, especially for Walmart but, isn't public decency a law here in MS?

I waited over 30 minutes for a clerk to open the dressing room.  Then she was rude when I had to go get another item to try on.  I found out she and her friends were just standing around talking.  I followed her when I was done. Good service is hard to find anymore, especially in large companies like Walmart.

I really like doing curbside pick-up at this Walmart!! 9 times out of 10 they have EVERYTHING I order and my order is correct! Quick, friendly service too

I love me some Walmart! I like to come early in the mornings when it’s not as crowded and I can just stand hours in here walking around and looking for deals because you can always find one! I love their clearance aisle and I think Walmart, without a doubt offers the lowest prices for all products.

If I could've given a "0" I would have. My complaint is more so on the incompetent, slow(dumb), can't read or pay attention to detail delivery drivers!! Oh, but, believe me the
Walmart employees are nothing to brag on either!! Those idiots delivered my package to the wrong door and when you call 800 Walmart, forget about talking-to anyone who is American🤬 and they're just as worse!! The drivers suffers no repercussion, so therefore, they will continue to not care about delivering your packages  to the wrong address. I was out of $68.00, because they tell you they'll refund you and I haven't seen my money as of yet and that was 3 weeks ago!! and to make matters worse the person that received your package gets to keep it!! They need to just throw the whole Walmart away!! Even if you choose shipping, if there is something they have in the store they'll send one of the local drivers.  People trust me DO NOT let the local drivers deliver your items... YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

It was not anything that was said wrong. However, the customer service I received was horrible. A price came up wrong at the self checkout, I needed it fixed and even was willing to go take a picture to prove it's wrong since there was a whole row of them hanging there. They refused to let me walk over to take a picture to prove it. One of the girl walked over there to check and comes back a while latter stating that it was just that one in the wrong spot. Then they allowed me to go check and when I got over there they had all been took down and rearranged. They refused to change the price as well. I over heard another lady that works there telling them to just change the price and they still wouldn't.

Obviously they don't need employees. I placed my resume and on several occasions tried to speak to a manager. I simply got brushed off. I've made attempts to call HR but no one answers. What must one need to do to ask for an interview?  I just need a job!

Employees are rude, act like little entitled children, and hang up the second you ask to speak to management. Your customers are paying for a service that isn’t being delivered properly, surely someone there cares about this. I assure you we are not the only ones but the little girls answering the phone would rather hang up on their customers than help them.

Nice store. Well maintained. Friendly service. Need more scooters...many handicapped people in our area. I can not shop without one due to very limited mobility.

Little messy inside. Had what I needed at a good price. Parking worked well. On a later visit I arrived in the evening. Parked and walked up to the doors to find them locked. Had to walk to the other entrance and return that same distance. The manager needs to make it obvious to drivers that those doors are locked.  Simply putting grocery carts in front would be signal enough. But to have no sign shows no thoughtfulness for customers. And that includes the 17 of us that were walking out and back to our vehicles parked on the other side of the parking lot. Came back a year later...staff were nice but slow. Pricing was better than other WMs.

This eye care center is just the best!! I love the Dr. and the staff (Phoenix) is very welcoming and helpful. I will go there as long as they are there!!

They're always low on products... Always always always appears as though their shelves are half full. I understand people. Things, but I went to three different Walmart's today left one and went to another one, this door is the only one that never has anything hardly. Somebody's not doing a good job at ordering and restocking

I always go early in the morning when there are no crowds. The staff is usually more cheerful during that time and are extremely helpful. K suggest you use the Walmart app though in case there is no one around to help.

Left off part of my order. Had to drive 45 mins back the next day and they didn't offer any sort of compensation. While they were nice and said "sorry" the level of service ddn't match the amount you have to pay for their product.

I love honey baked ham and it's been a tradition we usually get it at least twice a year. HoneyBaked has come out with a rewards program like everyone else however their program allows points or piggy dollars or whatever it is they do to expire after 6 months. This is the dumbest program I have seen from any company and even the employees don't like it and recommend complaining to corporate.  This year instead of buying a ham I'm buying a bone and if I can find a place to buy a bone somewhere else I won't go to HoneyBaked anymore.

Ham was dry and the glaze was burnt on the top. Bag leaked in my car. Definitely not worth $120 that I paid for it. Probably will not go to this location and again......sad

Its worth going in just to smell that glorious honey ham. They have amazing sandwhichs and prices are very reasonable

The lines for the holidays are ridiculous, plus the wait time. Even with a prepayment. Please have patience to stand in lines.

We always get the whole Smoked Turkey Breast.  Our sons love it.  We buy them throughout the year.  The whole smoked turkey breasts come presliced and precooked so the boys are able to just go in the fridge and make their own sandwiches or just eat the turkey slices with fruit or eggs or whichever side they have available.  It's good, high protein and convenient 👌.   You can either eat it right out the container or quickly warm the slices in a skillet or microwave.  Delicious 😋.

This Honey Baked  Ham is located in Vestavia Hills on Highway 31.  Their boneless turkey breasts and hams are wonderful. To be safe, preorder for Thanksgiving. Their sauces, like Hickory Honey Mustard, are great.  Honey Baked also operates daily as a sandwich and salad shop. Their Classic sandwich is a classic, but done overlook the Tavern Club.

Very disappointed...
Ordering and being able to prepay online was great. Inside pick-up was fast and accurate. Parking lot was a zoo, but that's every year, so I expected that. I understand not wanting to expose the ham due to COVID, but not being able to view what you're purchasing is an issue.  Especially when you're spending almost $60 and the ham is center of the table and you have not time to return it or replace it. I got home and was utterly disgusted with the ham I received. Burnt and fatty. No thank you. It's a hard past for Christmas. Huge letdown.

Ham was perfect. Service friendly and upbeat on a very high traffic day.

I bought a Honey Baked Ham for Thanksgiving and was extremely disappointed. This ham was extremely dry and very little to no outer glaze. These ham is too expensive to have to trash it 🥲

HoneyBaked Ham Holiday Express

Never place an online pickup order at this store. I put in a pickup order on 12/21/2023, and I had to wait more than 30 minutes for pickup ( no associate showed up) and return home without my order.

Nobody answers the phone here. When I call, they have an old voice message saying they are closed on Thanksgiving .

Waited for 1 1/2 hours for a pickup order and finally gave up (others who had been there longer were stillwaitingwhen I left).  They weren't very buay inside I probably only daw an order come out about 6 times the entire time I was there.  Absolutely ridiculous.

Store jumbled with merchandise and had musty odor. Got my items in auto center. The cashier was rudely ignoring me. She came in from outside ( after she saw me waiting) mind you, I'm in a motorized scooter 🛵 and her attitude wad awful. It felt and seemed as if I was an inconvenience to her day. So I got my items and dared NOT to asked them to help with anything ( even though I needed the auto center - I was traveling back home out of state) 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾will not be back to this auto center.

Ran by Walmart to pick up a few things. The place was busy but the check out line was short. Love when that happens.

This review isn’t about the Walmart store itself as I believe everyone knows the Supercenters or Neighborhood Markets and their differences. This is about the Blue Bell Ice Cream flavor Dr Pepper Float which is only available in 23 states, and Alabama is one of them. We found it in one of the end cap freezers on 6/20/2023 at the Walmart store on John Hawkins Pkwy. If you are a fan of Dr Pepper like we are, we were excited about trying it. Now my wife did not like it and said the Dr Pepper shake from Whataburger was better. I have tried that shake and disagree with her and feel the Blue Bell Ice Cream Dr Pepper Float is better and tastes more like Dr Pepper, whereas the Whataburger shake does not. The Dr Pepper shakes from Whataburger are only around for a limited time, unlike the Blue Bell ice cream Dr Pepper Float which is available until 2024. If you are a Dr Pepper fan you should try it, and hopefully you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the half sandwich and salad. The amount for the price was not worth it. But the turkey was very tasty. You can get a lot of great food for your family and have a full meal.

It was my FIRST time coming today and she was so nice and invested in making sure me and my co worker had a good experience!!

Rudest assistant manager ever for no reason. Spend $100 and they act like they're doing you a favor. Monroe street awful counter customer service.

The food is absolutely amazing and all hand made. The service is just as amazing, every time I've gone I'm treated with a friendly face and a genuine caring of my service. I love coming here for lunch or dinner.​

Service was good food tasted good but the problem is when we open up our boneless ham the glaze was frozen as a hard piece and came right off of the ham. so the ham itself had barely any of that delicious honey baked flavor.

We went here to buy some groceries during Black Friday sale, with lots of people. The staff handled the customers pretty well. Kudos to the friendly staff for their kind assistance and patience. Will do some groceries here if given another chance. There are also plenty of available parking spaces with wheelchair accessible parking spots.

Gonzales Walmart your looking snazzy! The renovations to this store are really looking good. I am a little bummed now I'm moving. I loved the new shopping carts. They now come complete with a beverage holder and on the left a place for grocery list or phone. I liked also the new higher top shelf on the cart. Everything is really coming together nicely at this store. Was an actual pleasure to shop at Walmart for once.

I did a quick stop for a few things, I have never like self check out , however I did 8/30/23 forgot my phone 📱 on the check out and had too make a dash back into the store!!! The young lady working that area was on her job!!!! A job well done

Horrible store ! Try to avoid at all cost . They really need to shut it down since everyone acts as if they do not want to work . Go to pick up groceries and they make you wait 2-3 hours for picking up stuff ! LITERALLY.. go to the door to ask they are all over the place . Nobody knows what is going on everyone is confused. The system they have is not the brightest, not sure if Walmart is cutting corners or they haven’t properly trained their employees but this is HORRIBLE INCLUDING MANAGEMENT!

If your company is going to lock items up, atleast have your associates available to assist your customers. Waited 30 minutes to get assistance in the jewelry department, and was never helped. Can't blame it on staffing because there was tons of blue vest running around and ducking off when multiple pages were made for assistance. Also, how does customer service or managers not have keys to access these locks?

Hire people who actually want to work, not play on their phones and gossip with other employees their entire shift.

Renovations were the last thing this store needed to worry about.
