I used to go every night and get gas or pop and fountain drinks from here is where it's at

This gas station on average has been the worse i have stopped at in harlan ky.  For some reason this shell station has a hard time getting gas delivered to them. Over the past 5 weeks this station has been out of 87 & 89 octane. They put up post it notes on each pump to say they are out of gas. Other times I have stopped in. Two thirds of their pumps have plastic bags on their handles stating out of gas. This is the first gas station you see when you visit harlan on hwy 119. So I am surprised they can not keep gas for their fuel pumps.UPDATE this place has improved and now has all octane gas available. Not the cheapest but it is good gas. 3 stars.

I don't visit this gas station often because of several reasons. The main reason is because their gas prices are usually higher than anyone else.

My only complaint is that there is never anywhere to park

Need to change at pump if use credit they hold 175.00 if you getting 60.00 dollars need to change that it sucks not cool at all

Definitely need to fix the parking lot, the gas pumps are distracting. It's had the screen, that is very loud and showing advertisements. I hate i cant pay with my card on most pumps outside. I like most of the staff.

I come here every day and I never have any problems, everyone, especially the woman with the pink hair, is super friendly. Today at 1235 pm the attendant, a young African woman, I felt so disrespected, she literally came and followed me around the store,  and made me feel like she was trying to stop a crime or something, the audacity. I literally was about to buy more stuff but she made me so upset my husband and I quickly left. I will never buy anything from there as long as she is in there

Does not allow tapping cards at the pump or using a chip card - you are forced to go inside. This is the 21st century and I shouldn't have to go inside to wait in line and pay for gas.

The prices here seem to be 30 cent higher than other locations. It could be because of the higher income area of Scottsdale. The convenience store is rather small and felt cramped, not as large as other locations. The snack selection also seemed smaller comparatively. Luckily, the location was not too busy and had plenty of stalls with pumps to go around.

The gas is about $0.30 more expensive than surrounding gas stations and about $.20 more expensive than other Shells in Phoenix. The convenience store is tiny, and there isn't a large selection of drinks and snacks.

Place is infested with scammers and homeless people pestering you while you're trying to fill up your tank. Hard to believe considering the nice location. Been to this location twice and both times I was stopped by 3 different people with sob stories trying to get me to take my wallet out. Ultimately, I do not feel safe at this gas station.

Don't go here..machine tried to eat my card .  Took 15 minutes to get machine to release and now my card is chewed up and needs to be replaced.

WOULD GIVE ZERO IFI COULD!!

I am grateful for the location of this store. If there is only one employee at the counter, you may feel like you just entered the land where time stands still if the line is way back to the slushy machine. But its  a nice way to strike up a conversation with some of the local cougars from time to time.

Store is always clean. Staff is super friendly. I can happily send my kids there to grab a snack knowing the staff and close proximity to my home.

I have no problem with the service although that my credit card has been charged an automatic self manual credit to my debit account in the total of $16 two times at $8 I have no reason and they can give me no explanation for so I don't go there anymore because I don't want to be charged and then charge 2 weeks later when I haven't even been in there store for something I haven't even utilized on some manual entry and nobody can tell me what it's for

Most people who work there are really nice and will help you if you ask. And a public restroom. Big big plus.but gas is never cheep there.

A+ for a convenience store. I get propane, gas, beer, munchies all the time. Friendlier than normal convenience store staff and they always have good music inside.

Didn't even know they had RV dump station. Bonus.

I visit this place whenever I am Cave Creek, AZ.. The employees are great.. The manager is always cool.. Sorry, I don't his name.. The place is always clean .. I chicken tenders you can get there are really good too.. I will be back !!!

This particular She'll station is just like any other station. What sets this one apart and over and beyond others was I over paid the clerk 20 dollars for gas and as I was pumping my gas, she came out and returned it. She didn't have to do this. She could have kept it, bought lottery tickets or got gas for herself and no one would know the difference . I was there at about 4:30am Friday morning in Sept 2nd if any Shell people read this. You have a great and honest person working for you.. I wish I would have gotten her name.. Thank you mame..

fried chicken is good but they overcharge you. It's happened to me twice now. I think they do it on purpose.

I always think it's weird when a gas station serves fried chicken I went here to use the bathroom get some water and a snack and they had a big snack option especially in the protein bar area. It's a very nice place in the bathrooms were very clean

This Shell says 24 hours but it's always closed after 10 pm???? What is open 24 hours the store or just the gas pumps

my special needs son dropped his change while handing it over to the cash register, he’s been working on his social  skills. (younger white male w longer hair and beard) gave off a loud sigh an then told me to put it in his hand not on the counter holding his hand out I just gave him the change an his response was “I can’t stand you people”?!?! Not sure what that was about? I understand racism is everywhere but being rude and nasty while at work is ridiculous I definitely won’t be returning to this establishment

Isn’t it supposed to be 24 hours, i come here all the time and a-lot of the time it will be closed and had to go out of the way to go find a different gas station, it would be fine if they didn’t advertise they are open 24 hours when they aren’t.

Horrible service. I went to go get a new propane tank and the gentleman wouldn’t go out and grab it. All that I needed was for him to walk outside and unlock the container. Unfortunately, that was too much to ask.

You guys are not open 24 hours. Put the real time you're open. Pumps don't count! Hate this gas station wasting my damn gas and time! Tell the truth!

Writing this endearing review to give props to the outstanding and thoughtful customer service and assistance I received by Devin who was a huge blessing in a time of vehicle servicing need.

I went into fill up, and also noticed my tire light was illuminated. I pulled over thereafter to the servicing department and this charming young man (Devin) offered his invaluable assistance.

He checked my tire, confirmed that it was low, put some air in it and offered some sound and practical advice on how to proceed with purchasing another tire which I did elsewhere immediately.

Although I have roadside assistance wisdom averted having to utilize and pure happenstance that the light came on at that exact moment and I got the service I needed and then some which was extraordinary!

Shell, please know what a wonderful employee you have in this young man who was warm, endearing, empathetic, professional and knowledgeable as his invaluable service/assistance alone gave me the security I needed to make it home on a wing and coupled with a little prayer of which I am deeply grateful for.

Double the five stars as this was absolutely a ten-star and most deserving experience! Thank you Devin and wishing you all the best!

The store is very.diverse. great for snacks,  lunch, drinks and convenience items. The car wash does a great job. The access is a little challenging so proceed with caution.

The tires on my Tesla were low and there was no air machine in the area.  I pulled up to the service station and they filled up my tires for free.  The manager was very friendly and helpful.  They refused payment for the service and I was impressed enough by their courteousness to leave this review.

They sell lottery ticket but 3x in a row i go to cash in winners and they dont have any cash. How can you sell tickets but not have even a little cash to payout the winning tickets and they were rude about it? I will NOT be going there again and i suggest everyone boycott this business. Also the gar there is always like 10- 20 cents higher that down by I 75.

Great place to stop for gas and snacks. It has one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms around for a gas station. Friendly staff too.

It's a good store and friendly employees and really good food.

Great to have a convenience store so close to off-roading area.  Clean with friendly employees.  Prices high on ready food other than hot dogs, kind of to be expected due to location though. Had charging stations for electric cars and also water/air machine in addition to gas. A can of fix a flat was $16 which seemed kinda crazy but at least it's convenient and they had it.

I cannot believe how incredibly incompetent the staff is at this shell.  They weren't unable to process my fuel rewards. It might not seem like much however I need 60 gallons of fuel.

The cashier was completely useless and literally blamed me.  Maybe if she spent more time learning her job than sitting in a tattoo parlor customers would come back.

The Shell app didn't work because it has its location 3 mi away. The app that indicated to go pay inside and show the cashier the QR code. She looked at me said she never saw that before and asked me what to do with it?  I told her it was her job not mine. I asked her to ask somebody else that might know and she said it was too late she already processed. When I asked what about my $0.05 per gallon discount she said it was possible to adjust it.

When I left I said congratulations you owned your boss in business of one star review. She verbally articulated what? As if she wanted to fight me. I repeated congratulations you've earned your boss a one-star review. Her comment was "yeah whatever."

I guess Shell is not interested in RVers that spend two to three hundred dollars in fuel and per stop.

No longer allow water use at the diesel pumps. They want to charge outrageous gas prices yet can let RVs fill their water tanks. Such a ridicules shame. One star!

They price gouge resulting in gas being over $1.25 more per gallon than local competitors. Don’t waste your time with stopping here.

10/1/23 update: They are still price gouging losers. Advertised price for regular unleaded was wrong. Do you want to be absolutely bent over filling up your tank? If so this is the perfect place.

Crazy high unleaded gas prices! $5.599/gallon vs $4.059 at Cordes Junction. Head up or down the road unless you're desperate! Then pump just enough to get to reasonably priced fuel and then fill up.

It took five times for it to read my card and dispense fuel. It's brand new!  Also, the gas prices were higher than advertised
