Great to have a convenience store so close to off-roading area. Clean with friendly employees. Prices high on ready food other than hot dogs, kind of to be expected due to location though. Had charging stations for electric cars and also water/air machine in addition to gas. A can of fix a flat was $16 which seemed kinda crazy but at least it's convenient and they had it.
I cannot believe how incredibly incompetent the staff is at this shell. They weren't unable to process my fuel rewards. It might not seem like much however I need 60 gallons of fuel.
The cashier was completely useless and literally blamed me. Maybe if she spent more time learning her job than sitting in a tattoo parlor customers would come back.
The Shell app didn't work because it has its location 3 mi away. The app that indicated to go pay inside and show the cashier the QR code. She looked at me said she never saw that before and asked me what to do with it? I told her it was her job not mine. I asked her to ask somebody else that might know and she said it was too late she already processed. When I asked what about my $0.05 per gallon discount she said it was possible to adjust it.
When I left I said congratulations you owned your boss in business of one star review. She verbally articulated what? As if she wanted to fight me. I repeated congratulations you've earned your boss a one-star review. Her comment was "yeah whatever."
I guess Shell is not interested in RVers that spend two to three hundred dollars in fuel and per stop.
No longer allow water use at the diesel pumps. They want to charge outrageous gas prices yet can let RVs fill their water tanks. Such a ridicules shame. One star!
They price gouge resulting in gas being over $1.25 more per gallon than local competitors. Don’t waste your time with stopping here.
10/1/23 update: They are still price gouging losers. Advertised price for regular unleaded was wrong. Do you want to be absolutely bent over filling up your tank? If so this is the perfect place.
Crazy high unleaded gas prices! $5.599/gallon vs $4.059 at Cordes Junction. Head up or down the road unless you're desperate! Then pump just enough to get to reasonably priced fuel and then fill up.
Proverbial Highway Robbery...
